Oh my gosh, this took forever! I was so not planning on spending so much time and effort on this but I'm very glad that I did. This is a redraw of something I did years ago, here's the original.
Despite how long this took, I'm so glad I managed to finish it. I've never done something this ambitious before but I definitely want to do this again. I'd like to think that 17-year-old Sam would be proud of how this turned out

Valentine and May Flowers
Ages: 33 and 34
Pronouns: She/Her and She/Her
Years Together: 12
Valentine and May Flowers are just about the textbook definition of true love. They first met at a supermarket when they reached for the same apple at the same time. They giggled and went separate ways until they ended up waiting at the same bus stop together later that day. They got to chatting and one thing just led to another. Now they live together in a city apartment above a bookshop with their 2 cats, Rudy and Biscuit, and their canary, Melancholy. Valentine is a talented balloon artist who does freelance bounty hunting in the summers. May flowers is a kindergarten teacher with a green thumb. They’ve been together through life’s ups and downs and always stay strong even through the toughest of times.

Serviceberry blooms. While working at the vegetable garden these past couple of weeks, I have been seeing so many insects and pollinators just buzzing around with no flowers to land on and it just broke my heart. So happy to see more and more flowers coming out

even as life grows from a seed, so also may a traitor mend. daffodils, much like Edmund, represent new beginnings and a fresh start.
