Robyn: So Arc-
Jaune: You can call me “Jaune”. I’ve been here for five months.
Robyn: Well okay. Jaune um… what’s your day like with Fiona.
Jaune: Normal.
Robyn: Really? Nothing’s going on with you two?
Jaune: No. I just help her out. That’s it.
Robyn: Really?
Jaune: Yes.
Somewhere else
Nora: So Fiona. How long have you and Jaune been a couple?
Fiona: We’re not couple. What makes you think that?
Nora: You see him everyday. More than me.
Fiona: He helps me with the orphanage.
Nora: Nothing else?
Fiona: No!
Jaune and Fiona were in the Orphanage.
???: Mr. Arc? Mr. Thyme?
Jaune: What is it Rex?
Rex: Are you and Ms. Thyme a couple?
Fiona: Oh my- Robyn!
Robyn appears only to have May and Nora with her.
Jaune: Nora, you too?!
Nora: Look d-
Jaune: Nora.
Nora: *forgot the kid* Oh.
Jaune: Rex go to your room.
Rex: Okay. *leaves*
Jaune: Now what the hell wrong with you two?
Fiona: Why are you so obsessed with this?
Robyn: Because you two-
May: Look Fiona I been watching you two a lot and I have to admit it’s hard not to believe you’re not dating. In fact, I wouldn’t be surpise to call you both a married couple.
Fiona: Ugh you too May. Seriously wat-
May: You and Jaune do Laundry together.
Tumblr media
May: Spend time with kids together.
Tumblr media
May: In fact, when Jaune’s training leads him to get hurt, you are the first to drag him to the nursery and patch him up. Even when he tells us “Don’t worry about it.”
Tumblr media
May: In fact you two are always in the kitchen together making dinner.
Tumblr media
May: And Jaune, boy what Nora told me about you was damn lie. I saw what you did. Slow dancing in the night.
Tumblr media
Nora: He was that smooth?
May: Smooth as Micheal Jackson.
Nora: Oh no.
Fiona: Um.
Jaune: Damn.
Nora: Oh yes. Finally. Fuck you Pyrrha! He go get right. *pulls scroll out her pocket and makes a call*
???: Hello.
Nora: Fuck you Weiss. You lose. He found someone better. He found the princess and gone make her his queen.
Jaune: Nora, calm down.
Nora: Fuck off Jaune. This is my victory.
In the twilight.
Pyrrha: Okay bitch, what did I do?
Adam: I mean you left the guy and died a meaningless death like Summer.
Summer: I gave birth to another silver eyed warrior. That has to count.
Hazel: Does she know how to use her eyes though?
Summer: Shut up.
Ironwood: And she destroyed Atlas and got Penny, Vine, Clover and myself killed so she’s kind a misfortune upon us.
Summer: Okay ya’ll need to stop disrespecting my daughter. Ya’ll made mistake.
Ironwood: Or so you say.
Summer: We can fight. We can fight right now James.
Pyrrha: I don’t understand.
Penny: Friend Pyrrha you are the main source of his trauma and pain.
Pyrrha: B-you know what… fuck all you.
Roman: Whoa Invincible Champion, it’s not our fault your ‘boyfriend’ decided to break that little curse you placed on him.
Pyrrha: Oh come on- I’m leaving. I don’t need this.
Summer: My death had meaning. My daughter has a mystery to solve.
Adam: So finally one of your daughters is actually trying to know what happened to you. It’s too bad they have to find the same woman that took one of them many years to find.
Summer: Oh my god.
Roman: Not to mention at least Penny’s death served a purpose. Winter’s alive. She kept thousands of people alive. While your death, Pyrrha, caused more suffering than good.
Pyrrha: You know what who wants to fight first? Who? Cause I’ll show you why they written me off. Name one. Who can body me? Who?! Step up. STEP UP!
Adam: Oh I never run from no challenge. Especially no One-V-One, come on bitch.

May: Robyn, if your plan kills us all, I'm going to get Fiona's ghost to teach my ghost how to play the flute so I can annoy the hell out of your ghost
Robyn: I'll just hire Winter's ghost to kick her ghost's ass
Winter: my ghost won't associate with your ghost

Smol AU: Do the Happy Huntress go to Lunaris to treat with the smol king and gazed at the glorious manly beard?
The Truth Of Liers
Robyn: Okay… This place is… massive…
Fiona: Didn’t they say this place was was a town…?
May: A town: this place is a city?! I heard it had a population of just three hundred, now they say it has nearly seven thousand!
Joanna: With enough food to feed them for two years, enough dust to last a lifetime, and has a military on par with, Atlas.
Robyn: And, this place has only excited for two weeks…
Fiona: Do you really think we can get their help?
May: They’re anti-Atlas, of course they’ll help us!
Robyn: Mantle, is Atlas, and Atlas is, Mantle. It is one, and the same. That fact alone will give them pause.
Fiona: That doesn’t sound good to me.
Joanna: Sounds better to me then how, Atlas has been treating us.
May: That’s a reassuring thought.
Robyn: Enough, all we can do is the best we can do. That will be enough.
Fiona: I hope so…
Soon the quartet of Huntresses stopped before a large gate, a small girl with orange hair dressed in bulky silver white armour with pink fabric underneath slammed her massive war hammer upon the ground, stopping their procession dead in its tracks as she stared them down.
: I am, Nora Valkyrie! Thunder of the Mountain, Knight-Commander of the King’s Shield Guard! Who dares approach the Mountain King!
Robyn: I am, Robyn Hill, of Mantle. I wish to speak to your King.
Nora: And, what do you seek?
Robyn: Aid to help us defend, Mantle from the, Grimm.
Nora stood there for a moment before she made a small grunt sound, and called forth for her second-in-command. A woman wearing bulky towering over her commander in her armour that the quartet all recognized, but one that none expected to find here.
Robyn: Elm? Elm Ederne? What are you doing here.
Elm: I am here serving as the second to the Knight-Commander.
Joanna: But, don’t you serve, Atlas, and General Ironwood?
Elm: I renounce my loyalty to, Atlas, and General Ironwood. I now serve the King of Lunaris; both as his protector, and one of his many lovers.
May: You quit?!
Fiona: L-Lovers…?
Nora: Enough! Lieutenant. Alert his Majesty that a group of individuals wish an audience with him!
Elm: As you command, Knight-Commander!
Elm pounder her fist to her chest plate as a salute to her commander before the doors to the throne room opened long enough for her to disappear behind it. The doors soon shutting with a thunderous clash as it echoed throughout the vast unground kingdom.
Joanna: Well, this seems to be going easier than we expected…
Robyn: It’s not over yet, stand on your guard, and watch your words.
May: Got it!
Fiona: Let’s do this!
Soon the doors opened, far wider this time, as Elm walked out she stood behind her Knight-Commander, bending down to whisper in her ear, before standing back at attention behind her.
Nora: His Majesty; King Jaune Arc the Engraver. King of Lunaris, grants you the pleasure of an audience with him.
The duo soon stood to the side, as a contingent of the Shield Guard slammed their poleaxes, as the duo stood to the side as the quartet slowly made their way inside.
The Throne Room to the King of the Mountain was massive, dozens of civil servants, and officials littered the hall way. A deep blie carpet, with finely woven gold threads marks its path to the Throne. Alcoves rested along the wall, a dozen of them in total, upon each of them sat a rather small bulky looking individual. A flight of stairs lead to a throne high above all, upon it sat one figure, he was smaller then most, but his piercing blue eyes made him appear as if he was staring down on all, even if he was eye level with, Robyn, and her party. He was above them all.
A small figure stepped towards them, he wore a deep grey blue cloak, keeping his face hidden, showing nothing, but the thick white beard he sported, and his glowing eyes of ice, and snow. He stepped forward, slamming his staff on the ground, drawing everyone’s attention towards him, as the raven atop his staffed cawed out silencing all before them.
: I am, Wojtek, the Storm Caller! Counsellor, and High Shaman for his majesty, King Jaune Arc the Engraver, King of Lunaris! Speaketh thy names, and why thou do seek a audince with da, King!
Robyn: I am Robyn Hill, of Mantle, Leader of the Happy Huntresses. And, these are my companions, Fiona Thyme, May Marigold, and Joanna Greenleaf. We wish to ask for aide in the defence of, Mantle.
: Da Happy Huntresses…? Da fuck kind of name is dat! Sounds more like a name they’d give to some young whelps kiddy show!
Laughter echoed throughout the hall as the quartet turned to stare at a small woman, encase in deep scarlet armour with auburn gold details about it.
May: Told you we need to do some rebranding…
Wojtek: Kenina the Burnt One, of Clan Azar Blades. Have thou something to say?
Kenina: No, High-Shaman Wortjek. I have nothing to say.
Wojtek: Den’ allow our guest ta speak der minds.
Kenina bowed her head in respect to, Wortjek who bowed his in response. He then gestured with his hand to, Robyn to continue speaking.
Robyn: Thank you. We have come here today to first offer our warm greetings to the mountain folk, and ask for your help for the people of, Mantle.
Silence hung in the air, a few whispered words blew throughout the throne room until one voice spoke. It was a voice that echoed throughout the vastness of the mines with a might roar. A voice that struck like a hammer against blazing steel spoke. From upon the throne, a man with a crown of gold embedded with sapphires, and with a thick golden beard with clasps of silver, and ruby’s woven into it. Thick plated armour, of white, with gold rest upon his body, as he sat upon his throne as if he was carved from the throne itself.
For before them sat the King of the Mountain, King of the Kingdom of Lunaris. Jaune Arc, the Engraver.
Jaune: And, what… does da people of Mantle demand of my people, dat dey can’t beg from doe’s arrogant, Atlasian bastards?
Robyn: We don’t demand anything of you, we just ask for your help for the sake of the people of, Mantle.
Jaune: Da lines between, asking, begging, and demanding is, but a tone of ones voice.
It was a simple phrase that that effortlessly put, Robyn on the back foot. A simple phrase delivered with such gravity that shook their world to the core. But nonetheless, Robyn would not back down.
Jaune: However… I have yet ta ear yer request. So, tell me, ‘Little Bird…’ What do you ask of da, King of Lunaris?
Robyn: We ask for supplies: Supplies to help rebuild the walls of, Mantle. And, food to feed the people of, Mantle.
Jaune: Da walls of, Mantle are broken, and Atlas has not sought ta fix it: Why?
Robyn: Yes, the Grimm have breached the walls, and invaded, Mantle. They are in a desperate need of repair, and Atlas are not offering anything to fix this.
Jaune: Dat is an explanation, not an answer…
: My King. I wish to speak.
The group turned to see a short man, with a finely trimmed, and combed beard. A pair of black tinted glasses rested on his nose as he wipped a pipe with a handkerchief.
Jaune: Speak, Siriden the Forbidden Ismênê, of da’ Duibhin Clan?
Siriden: My thanks, my King. From what da Ravens say: Atlas is buildn sometin. Sometin dat requires a vast amount of der resorces ta build. What dat is, we know not.
Jaune: Hmmm… Do ye know, ‘Little Bird?’
Robyn: No; We have seen a massive amount of supplies being transported into the middle of the wastelands. We have tried to learn what they are doing, but no one is willing to tell us anything about it. We have asked time, and time again for their help, but they have offered us nothing.
Jaune: And, what do ye offer us for our aid?
Robyn: We offer our help to improve relations with, Atlas, and Mantle. One that will further benefit the Kingdom of Lunarisfor years to come.
A roaring cries of laughter soon erupted the halls of the throne room. Robyn, and her team looked about the hall in disbelief as it appeared they were all part of some sort of hidden joke.
Jaune: HAHAHA! I’m afraid ye offer of support in such a manner, is meaningless to us.
Robyn: What do you mean?
Jaune: Worjek.
Wojtek: Yes, my King?
Jaune: Summon da, Levana Fox.
Worjek bowed his head as held out his hand, the raven perched atop his staff landed on his out stretched hand. He whispered a few words to the bird before sending it flying away.
Minutes passed, the only sound being heard was the sounds of pipes being lit, and the sounds of smoke being blown through open lips. Soon the raven returned, and landed upon, Worjek’s staff. Soon a pair of door were heard opening, and from behind the kings throne entered a sight they did not expect to see.
: You summoned me, my King?
Joanna: What the hell?!
Fiona: I-Isn’t that, Winter Schnee? Specialist Winter Schnee?!
May; The fuck is going on?!
From the side of the throne, stood, Winter Schnee, dressed in an icy blue dress with bands of silver jewels with deep blue jewels embedded within them. Upon her head rested a circlet of gold, and silver. A smaller companion that matched against, Jaune’s crown.
Winter: You are both correct, and wrong. I am indeed Winter Schnee, but, I am no longer a Specialist in the service of, Atlas.
Robyn: Then, what are you…?
Winter: I am the Levana Fox. Consort to his majesty, Jaune Arc, the Engraver; King of Lunaris.
May: You’re his wife?!
Fiona: You’re the Queen then?
Joanna: Typical for a Schnee…
Winter: I am not the, Queen. That position belongs to another far more worthy of such a position.
Robyn: Wait… You have two wives…?!
Winter: More than two actually.
RFMJ: WHAT?!!
Winter: Do you have need of me, My King?
Jaune: Indeed. The, ‘Little Bird’ ere wishes for us ta give her, and Mantle, our elp. She’s offered to elp improve relations with der people of, Mantel. Splain to dem why dat ain’t happening.
Winter: Since this relates to me I believe it is for the best that I do as you ask, My King.
Winter, bowed to her lover, and king before she turned to address their guests.
Winter: As soon as I came here, I pledged myself to my, King. To be his consort, or whatever he decided of me. Graciously he accepted me as one of his many lovers.
Robyn: So you just met him, and asked to marry him…?
Winter: For a price.
May: What price?
Winter: I offered to help the kingdom smooth out their relations with the SDC, and the Kingdom of Atlas. However, despite my best efforts, they have both made impossible demands of us that we have most whole heartily refused. Such is the behaviour of my father, and General James Ironwood. They both see us as a threat that must be crushed: My father as a rival, and a threat for his Dust monopoly, and the General for our rapid, and overwhelming military strength. Because of this, I see little to no possibility for good relations between our two great kingdoms.
Robyn: No, there is a possibility of their being good relations between us!
Winter: And, how is that?
Robyn: The supplies we asked for, they are for the people of, Mantle, not Atlas. We ask for you to offer your support to the people of, Mantle, in doing so we can spread word of your good will to the people, and help provide the bases for good relations between our two great kingdoms.
Winter: That is a possibility… If enough of the people of, Mantle see us in a good light, Atlas will reap the benefits of such relatiobs. It should gradually ease the worried tensions the General has for us. My father, Jacques Schnee would still be upset however.
Robyn: Is there any way we could ease tensions between, Lunaris, and the SDC.
Winter: Short of the removal of my father from the, SDC. No, there isn’t.
The King stroked his beard as he hummed softly. He chuckled softly as he eyes scanning the room as he spoke.
Jaune: Where is, Gawen the Creator, of da Enver Clan! Is he ere, or is da git hobbled away in his lab again?
A small chortle of laughter broke out, soon followed by a cry of alert.
Gawen: Aye, my Lord, I am ere!
They saw a short man smoking on a pipe wave towards him. His thick, and long beard, was fazzled, and slightly burnt in some places. A thick leather apron covered him, filled with a wide assortment of craftsmen tools across his apron.
Jaune: Good. Lords, and Ladies, of da Arven Council! We shall offer aide to da citizens of, Mantle. First we we send them supplies of food. Gawen, send two of yer finest workers to inspect der walls. After dat, send forth a request for supplies to fix der walls. Understood?
Gawen: It will be done my, Lord.
Robyn: You willing to do this?!
Jaune: Indeed I am. Atlas, fears we desire war with dem. We desire peace, dis should help pave da way for said peace.
Robyn: I offer you my thanks, King Arc! This should help both the people of, Mantle. And, spread word of the kindness of the kindred of, Lunaris!
Jaune: I deed it shall. Now, go. We have much to do, and ye need yer rest. We shall talk more tomorrow.
Robyn, and her team respectfully bowed to the Mountain King as the made their way out of the throne room, with a smile on their faces, and pride at a job well done.
Fiona: We actually got help!
Joanna: Id didn’t think that would work…
May: I heard he was a hard ass, immovable like a mountain! But, I guess that rumour is just that, a rumour.
Fiona: Yeah, he seems far more appeasing than I thought too.
Robyn: Whether he is, or isn’t doesn’t matter. Now we have a chance to really help the people of, Mantle! And, that is all that matters, so come on girls, we have work to do!
FMJ: YEAH!
As the Happy Huntresses left the throne room, the King, and his councillors waited there for a moment before they resumed there council meeting.
Kenina: Is dis a wise decision, my King? Givin supplies to dos, ‘Happy Huntresses?’
Jaune: It is indeed; for how else da ya think we can test, Atlas?
Siriden: Ahh… You want ta see how dem, Atlasian’s will react ta us sending food ta, Mantle. If dey let, Mantle take da food, it’ll show, Atlas is willing ta work with us.
Winter: And, if they confiscate something as simple as food, it shows an unwillingness to cooperate with us on anything. And, based upon how the act, it will either make the people of, Mantle look favourably upon the Kingdom of Lunaris, or deepen the resentment of the people, Mantle towards the people of, Atlas.
Siriden: It is a lose, lose scenario for, Atlas. Damned if dey don’t, damed id dey do. Excellent choice my, King!
Jaune: Der request was simple… And, good favour may benefit us… But, knowledge on how da others see us, is far more valuable than a barrel of grain. Dis is a good test to see how dey will react to us. All that matters now is ta wait for da results…
Wojtek: But, what about da, ‘Discerner of Lies?’ What is your test for her, My King?
Winter: A test? What are we testing, Robyn Hill for?
Jaune: She was given da power ta ascertain truth from lies, and lies from truth. It tells us many things, my Love. Chief among dem is dat she is untrusting of others unless you agree with her truth, wholeheartedly.
Winter: Her truth?
Jaune: Aye, her truth… For a lie is da truth ta one, and da lie ta another. And, who is she ta say we are liars… Siriden!
Siriden: Yes, My King?
Jaune: Make sure da, Raven’s know der faces! And, make sure to inform me of der results!
Siriden: It will be done, My King.
Jaune: Good, very good… Now den… Let us wait, and see, what da, ‘Little Bird’ does…
///
Ahh! It took me days to write this! But, it is done! World building for the, Kingdom of Lunaris has begun!
Do enjoy~!

Could get more maiden may
Winter watched from a balcony as May used ice and fire with her staff in order to take out a few of the Atlas drones she was pit up against. Machine limbs and weapons littered the arena that May had started to fight in and all Winter could do was watch as Ironwood gave May instruction after instruction.”
That’s enough, Specialist Marigold.” Ironwood’s voice echoed through the arena. “You can stand down now.”
Winter sighed and watched as May started to walk off the arena. “SIr, dont you think you’re being a bit rough on her?”
“She’s the winter maiden now,” Ironwood said calmly. “She doesnt have the luxury of easing up on her training. There are people out there that if they find out about her, they’ll do whatever they can to get their hands on those powers she now has.”
“And if this is supposed to be a secret, why am I allowed to know?”
“Because you’re going to be the one to protect her. And, hopefully be the one that ends up with the powers when she’s killed.”
Winter felt her heart sink as she listened to Ironwood. The idea that she’d lose May wasnt a thought she’d want to dwell on, nor the fact that she’d be the one to keep her safe if she was attacked. Which meant that if anything did happen, it would then be her fault. Her voice shook as she spoke again. “And… if I decline, sir?”
“You dont get to.”
Winter let out a sigh, her eyes still glued on May until she left the arena. Once she could no longer see May below her, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she listened to Ironwood’s boots against the tile floor and the door closing behind him. After a few minutes of composing herself, she made her way down to the locker room, hoping May would still be there.
The heels of her boots clicked as she walked down the empty hallways, her breathing seemed to stutter as she pulled out her scroll to watch the map of the lower areas of the base. She was still unfamiliar with the catacomb-like halls that roamed below the main building where May was kept. At the end of the hallway, Winter was greeted to a small panel to scan her hand for entry. The only way in or out of this area and as far as she knew, only she and Ironwood had the access to make their way this far. She placed her hand on the scanner and waited for the light to go green, her eyes looking up at the camera that seemed to watch her every move.
As the scanner chimed her entry, the door opened to let Winter into the hallway and to the locker room just outside the arena. She dodged a piece of ice that flew from the other side as May yelled and grunted.
“Damn General and his fucking rules!” May slammed her hand against a locker and froze it solid just before she shattered it with her staff. With a panting breath, she dropped her staff and sat down in front of the shattered, frozen metal. “I cant take it here anymore!”
“Then… maybe its time we get you out of here,” Winter said as she slowly made her way to May.
May quickly stood up and smiled at Winter and rushed over to hug her. “Winter!”
Winter slowly put her hand on May’s back. “I know, its been a while.”
“Three months. I havent been allowed to see you for three months!” May slowly pulled back and paused as she looked Winter over. “You’re… not here to just see me, are you?”
“If the general can have his way, you’ll be locked up here for your own safety so nothing happens to you or the powers that you hold.”
“Right…”
“But… I’m going to get you out of here.” Winter sighed and looked around the room. “This is no way for you to be held and… maybe you’re right, Atlas isnt exactly treating Mantle well, but I still have a duty here. You… dont.”
May looked at Winter curiously. “So… what do you have in mind?”
“You said you wanted to join the Happy Huntresses, right?”
May paused, then grinned at the thought. “Tell me what to do and I’ll be ready.”
—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sirens blared through the hallways as the emergency lights kicked on after a few explosions near the base of Atlas. May pulled a hood over her head as she ran with Fiona, still nervous about the plan. Though despite all the noise, she kept herself breathing steady as the two made their way through the base as quietly as they could. “Now where?”
“According to the map Winter gave us, we’ll take a right here and then a left after the fifth hallway.” Fiona put her scroll away and watched as the doors near the command center shut loudly next to them. “Robyn will be waiting for us in the hangar.”
“Do I even want to know how three of you managed to cause this much trouble?”
“We’ll talk more once we get you out of here!” Fiona quickly pulled May to the wall to avoid a few soldiers that rushed down the halls. “And werent you the one who said that your semblance  cant mask our voices?”
May rolled her eyes and waited for the patrols to leave before she started to make her way forward again. Everything had moved so fast from the first explosion, to the blackout, and then the whole base almost seemed to rock. As the hangar came into view, she paused as she saw the airship that Robyn was waiting for them in. “You have got to be kidding.”
Fiona rushed over to the old cargo ship. “You can complain later, for now, this will work.”
May followed after and ducked in just as a few soldiers had started to make their way to the hangar. She closed her eyes and focused on her semblance once more as the airship started to turn invisible once it started moving.
Fiona relaxed and smiled at May. “You know, you didnt do half bad. When Winter came to us, we thought it was going to be a trick.”
“Speaking of, she mentioned you had something the general wants,” Robyn turned around as put on the autopilot of the airship to make its way down to Mantle. She looked May over and frowned. “So, what exactly did we put a target on our backs for?”
May opened her eyes, golden fire spouted from them as she held her semblance. “Its… something we’re better off talking about when we’re safe.”
Robyn nodded and turned to face forward to watch for an empty lot to ditch the ship. “Then I guess we’ll have a while to talk about it before we start helping Mantle.”
May dropped her semblance out of surprise. “W-wait, what?”
“That girlfriend of yours made quite the case of helping you out. So, there’s one thing I want to make sure of before we land.” Robyn held out her hand to May. “Do you really want to help Mantle?”
May slowly took Robyn’s hand and nodded. “It’s where I belong and the one thing I can do the most good. I want to help Mantle any way I can.”
Robyn smiled as her semblance started to make her hand glow green. “Then welcome to the Happy Huntresses, May.”

Same anon from the Tyrisummer ask - are there any other rwby ships you like that aren't that well known?
Hello again, Anon! And yes, I am a very big fan of many different less popular rwby ships, because the majority of the canon ships I loathe (not you taisummer you can stay), and a lot of the commonly popular ships don't do it for me either (not you freezerburn and ladybug you can also stay).
So here's a non exhaustive list of obscure-ish rwby ships I like, which I may or may not have discussed before:
Nora/May Marigold: if Nora lived in Antares this would be endgame this is MY SHIP
Ruby/Marrow: my need to make ruby aroace vs my adoration of 'little red riding hood X the big bad wolf'-themed ships
Elm/Ironwood: I'll be dead before I stop shipping this they're so soft
Yang/Mercury: this isn't even that obscure I just need to rep my favs
Theo/Leo: I love old gay war veterans (canon theo does not exist to me I see only Old Cowboy Theo (also featured in azre btw shoutout to azre))
Marrow/Adam: I'll die on the 'childhood best friends to idealistically-opposed to lovers' hill
Tai/Oobleck: they dated.
Marcus/Neo: It's the hamster with a banana meme if the hamster was a yandere
BRIR polycule: Sisterhood of Evil WLW Huntresses (them not being the true villains of arrowfell was a cop-out)
Vernal/Weiss: the princessXbandit vibes are immaculate, this was the real butch/femme rwby ship dynamic all along
Sun/Mercury: Mercury at all times deserves a buff blonde with big tits and a bigger heart
Clover/Watts: I'll ship this just for the shipname alone (it's 'phishing' btw)
Sun/Ruby: also not obscure technically but they're so qpr that I made a playlist for them
and finally,
the one that got me vagued on fucking
UQUIZ
Clover/Robyn: I know this uqiz was talking about me specifically because it mentioned that lucky shot had a fanfic and at the time I had the only purely Lucky Shot fic up on ao3 (no qrow involved), if nothing else can be my legacy I want it to be this.☘️🏹

When Robyn finally catches up with the Happy Huntresses/Winter in Vacuo:
Robyn: "YOU STOLE MY HAREM!?"

Here it is, my glorious return from the depression pit. A little silly story in which Winter finds out the Happy Huntresses show affection through being little shits to each other, and then finding out she wants some of that too
Now what is the name of this huge ass polycule? Schneewood Forest Party? VERY Happy Huntresses? Nevermind, let's just get to the fic.
Winter hated Vacuo. From the moment she crossed that portal, a sandstorm raging around her, hordes of Grimm surrounding her, the people of Atlas and Mantle begging for help. From the moment she arrived in that desert she hated that place.
She hated the heat. She hated the dry air. She hated the sand.
Winter also hated that she hadn’t had the chance to dye her hair again. Now stuck with her black roots growing back, knowing that she’d look more and more like her father with each passing day.
But that didn’t matter. She was a soldier - and a Maiden now - so she would not shirk her duty to her people. A duty to every atlesian refugee that now struggled to find a home in a new kingdom.
Vacuo wasn’t prepared for this. No kingdom was prepared for taking so many people all at once, and even though they tried their best to accommodate, many now found themselves trapped in tents and improvised housing outside the walls of the kingdom proper. And many of Atlas’s rich and powerful finally understood what they had put Mantle through for so many years.
But that was far too late to matter.
Winter herself had been offered a place at Shade academy proper, but she had refused, her place was with her people. They may not have the walls or the weapons the main kingdom had, but they had huntsmen and now they had a Maiden.
Of course, she wasn’t the only one who had made that choice. Weiss’s friends had chosen to defend the tent city, and the Happy Huntresses too had chosen to continue their fight for the people of Mantle.
Winter hated the Happy Huntresses too.
Not because of anything they did for the refugees. No, their actions were nothing short of admirable, but it was hard to see them as great heroes when she had to share a tent with them for weeks.
At first it was easy. They all had people to mourn, they all had duties to attend to, they respected each other, they offered each other space, and at times even a shoulder to cry on. But as time went on, and the shadow of the Fall of Atlas did not loom so near, the Huntresses returned to their more annoying habits.
The snark, the banter, the sass, things the trio did as naturally as they breathed and fought. Things that grated against Winter’s nerves and threatened her sanity. But they had a mission and they would work together regardless, even if that meant having to hear May joking about her hair for the hundredth time.
Though that wasn’t the worst part. The worst part was when they started dressing more appropriately for the weather. With loose clothes, and exposed skin, sweat dripping after a long day of work. It was proving far more distracting than Winter could have anticipated.
But that wasn’t what made her hate the Huntresses. No, she had other reasons for that. Even when those distractions culminated in a… lapse of judgment, that too hadn’t been enough to make her hate them.
When she felt her back pressed against Joanna’s sculpted body, when she felt her strong arms hold her in place. That too hadn’t been it.
When she felt May between her legs, spreading them apart, her lips finding their way to her neck. No, that was certainly not it.
When Fiona held her hand so softly, kissed it like she was some noble woman she met at a ball, and sang the most gentle praise Winter had ever heard in her life. That had come close, but it wasn’t that.
At the time Winter had loved every second of it. Every last worry had been taken away, and for one glorious moment she allowed herself to relax and enjoy true bliss. Even as she fell asleep she did not have a single care in the world, surrounded as she was by women who had happily showered her with affection.
No, it was the next morning that had filled her with dread. She had shown weakness around them. Worse still, she found she had a praise kink because of them.
The teasing and taunting would be merciless. She wouldn’t know a moment of peace in her life ever again.
But then… nothing happened. They moved on with their days, and nothing happened. Of course, they acknowledged it and Joanna even asked her if she wanted a round two - she did, but she wasn’t gonna admit it - but that was it, no taunting, no teasing, no nothing.
Now that. That is when Winter decided she hated them.
Yes, she was quite aware of how contradictory that was, which only served to infuriate her more. It felt like they were withholding all their jabs and comments, keeping them stored away. And some day when she finally felt she was safe, when she finally let her guard down, they’d hit her with everything at once.
That was the only explanation for this.
This was all part of some master plan to hit her when it would humiliate her the most. Why else would they do it? They clearly couldn’t keep themselves from humiliating each other, so why would they show restraint towards her?
So her next few days were spent like this. Always tense, always keeping watch, waiting for the moment they’d finally taunt her, tease her, call her a massive bottom and a pillow princess, but nothing ever came. Brothers, they didn’t even play into this new kink she found out. They all knew she’d melt at the slightest bit of praise from them, and yet none of them had given her anything more than a polite “good job”.
The worst part was that they kept messing with each other. Always joking and trading barbs, always getting on each other’s nerves. And watching them do that was starting to get on her nerves. It only made it more obvious they were planning something. Why else would they poke fun at each other, but not her?
The answer didn’t matter. What mattered was that all of this was starting to drive Winter insane, and after two weeks of this incessant politeness she finally snapped.
“Will you three just stop this!?” She shouted one morning in their shared tent.
The Huntresses could only look at her in confusion.
“Stop what?” Fiona asked, halfway through making them breakfast.
“You have been nothing, but kind and polite for weeks now,” she informed, quickly realizing that she sounded crazy for having a problem with that, “...it’s suspicious.”
May couldn’t keep herself from laughing at that, immediately reverting to the mockery she had been avoiding this whole time, “oh the Happy Huntresses are being too nice to me, that can only mean they’re up to something.”
“Exactly!” Winter replied, choosing to ignore the mocking tone, “I have given you plenty of fuel for your taunts, and yet you choose to remain… pleasant. You’re clearly plotting something.”
“Or consider this,” Joanna offered, “we know you don’t like that shit, so we stopped doing it.”
“That’s-- I--,” Winter stammered. She wished she could argue with that, but Joanna was being perfectly reasonable, which only highlighted how silly she was behaving right now. It also made her blush all the way to the tips of her ears.
Fiona let out an adorable little giggle at the sight of the most serious woman she knew blushing like an embarrassed little teenager.
“Do you want us to tease you?” She asked, causing Winter to make the most undignified scoff.
“Of course not!” Winter shouted, stomping the ground.
She cursed herself as she realized how much of a kid she was acting like, and it only got worse as the trio began exchanging conspiratory glances. Winter didn't like that, she didn’t like that one bit.
“So,” May began, the most infuriating grin on her face, “I guess we’ll just keep being very polite and never tease you again.”
Winter could not explain the feeling of dread she felt in that moment, but she knew she had to stop this right now .
“Wait! No!”
Joanna smirked, and she realized she had fallen for their trap.
“Why?” Joanna asked, sounding so damn smug, as if she somehow knew more than Winter, “I thought you didn’t want us to mess with you.”
Yeah, why did Winter react like that? Why did the thought of them never taunting her again fill her with dread? There was only one possible explanation for this, but she didn’t like it one bit.
She wanted them to mess with her. She wanted what they had, their banter, their arguments, their jokes. Teasing and taunting was second nature to them, but it was also how they showed affection. They poked fun at each other because they loved each other.
And maybe Winter wanted to be loved like that too.
Ugh, why did she have to catch feelings for those three of all people?
“I…” She tried, but what could she even say without humiliating herself? “I want to have what you have… taunting included.”
“D’aww,” Fiona replied so sweetly. The other two were not so kind.
They each came over to one side of her, Joanna hooking her arm over her neck, and May around her midriff. It was hard not to be aware of how much taller both of them were. It was easy to forget that Fiona was the only one there who was shorter than her.
“Welcome to the polycule, princess,” Joanna joked, “it wasn’t that hard, now was it?”
“Like pulling teeth,” Winter grumbled.
“Aww, don’t be so grumpy,” May joined in, “I’m sure we can find some way to lift your spirits.”
“Maybe we can get Fiona to call you a good girl again,” Joanna continued, showing off how their teamwork extended to beyond the battlefield. Not like Winter hadn’t found that out before.
“I’ve changed my mind,” Winter complained, shoving them away, “you’re both deplorable.”
“Alright, you two,” Fiona called, bringing over their breakfast, “leave the poor woman be. She just had a very emotional morning.”
“You’re just defending her because she didn’t call you deplorable,” May argued, but Fiona just glared.
“Thank you,” Winter muttered to her. Things could have stopped here, but there was one last thing she thought she should clarify since she was apparently in a very emotionally honest mood this morning, “I have been meaning to ask. How did you know that would work?”
Fiona blinked a couple of times, confused, “knew what would work?”
Oh, why was Winter expected to actually say it out loud? “The praise, how did you know it would get to me?”
“Oh that’s easy,” Fiona answered with a little laugh, “you’re a Schnee and you worked for Ironwood. You probably haven’t heard any positive reinforcement since you were five.”
That sounded like such a wild and baseless assumption, and yet it was painfully accurate.
“I see,” was all she could muster.
“Now come on, let’s get you some breakfast, princess,” Fiona called.
Winter hated how much she loved the new nickname.

Robyn wanted to blame the ace ops for this. She knew they weren’t to blame this time, but after losing her city, being away from her Huntresses, and stuck in this stupid ship for weeks, she was feeling particularly pety. So when the engine sputtered out, and the ship began to dive straight towards the sands below, she decided she was gonna use her last moments to blame the ace ops for this.
Of course she was still trying to survive here. She was still struggling with the controls, yelling orders, trying to get this thing fixed before they all got flattened.
Robyn Hill had not come this far to die like this.
Then there was a loud scraping sound and, against all odds, the ship stabilized. The engines were still dead, but the ship had somehow pulled up and was now flying directly towards Vacuo once again.
“What just happened?” She asked, just as Qrow walked into the room cackling.
“Looks like we owe the Ice Queen one,” he answered, still snickering to himself.
"What 's so funny?” Harriet demanded with her usual level of annoyance.
“Oh you’ll see,” was his reply, his laugh barely contained.
“Let’s just be grateful Winter arrived when she did,” Marrow interjected, slumping on his chair.
You know what? He was right. She was just gonna consider herself lucky, lean back in her chair, and not think too much about this. Whatever got Qrow laughing like an idiot could wait until they landed.
It didn’t even take that long. Soon their ship came gently to rest on the desert sands, just outside the kingdom proper. Robyn could see a massive Manticore summon jump off from the top of their ship, and dissipate before reaching the ground.
So that’s how the ice queen saved their asses. Clever.
Not wanting to stay in this hunk of metal even a second longer than necessary, she casually strolled off the damn thing and onto the desert. This was definitely gonna take some getting used to.
“Hey, ice queen,” she called, not sure where their savior got herself into, “thanks for the save.”
Then her savior decided to have the most dramatic entrance in the world, by flying down from the skies above, surrounded by snow, eyes burning with the flames of her Maiden powers. But that was far from the most stark change to her.
“What the fuck?” Harriet muttered behind her.
“It’s good to see you’re all well,” Winter greeted as she landed, and Robyn could only grin.
Winter Schnee was dressed in what was obviously a Happy Huntresses uniform, complete with an insignia and everything, just like Robyn’s, except hers was a dark shade of blue. More incredibly still was the fact that there was no more sign of white in her hair, instead being almost entirely black, the only exception being the blue highlights that matched her uniform.
“Loving the new look, ice queen,” Qrow laughed, earning him a death glare.
“Next time I’ll remember to let you fall to your death,” she replied, unamused. This did nothing to stop him.
The ace ops remained stunned silent, not sure how to react to the fact that Winter was now both a Maiden and a Happy Huntress, and that her appearance went through such a drastic overhaul. Robyn, for her part, knew exactly what happened and she was ecstatic.
“I see my girls got to you,” she joked, strolling up to their hero, “or should I say, our girls.”
That was enough for Winter to ditch the dramatic entrance, the fire fading from her eyes and the snow melting in the sand. The most powerful bitch in the entire kingdom, and she looked almost embarrassed.
“I--I guess you should,” she admitted.
“Wait! What!?” Harriet shouted.
I should also get you all to Shade,” Winter interrupted, promptly ignoring the shouting, “Theodore and the rest of the council would like to talk to you.”
“Right,” Robyn nodded, knowing that figuring things out with the council and getting up to date on this refugee situation took priority, “but after we’re done we’re having a nice long chat about what this means about us.”
Winter cleared her throat loudly before replying, “I look forward to it.”
“I’m sure you do,” she said, with a wink.
“What!?” Harriet shouted again, even as everyone began to walk off to the academy, “we’ve been worried sick for weeks, and you’ve just been fucking the Happy Huntresses this whole time!?”
Elm just sighed, and placed a hand on Harriet’s shoulder, “just let them be happy.”
Robyn was really starting to love Vacuo.

For the ship/drabble requests, could I request 74: First Kiss for Invisibird (May MarigoldxRobyn Hill) pretty please?
May sighed as she sat alone in the restaurant, waiting for her date. She took another sip of wine as she waited, her leg bounced as her nerves started to take over. The grimm attack in the city was already over and its not like there was any reason for her date to be late. Though, if she were to be stood up…
“Sorry I’m late.”
May turned her head to face Robyn, a nervous smile came across her face. “Robyn, you came.”
“Of course I did.” Robyn smiled and sat down across from May. “I wouldnt miss a date like this even if Mantle were burning down.”
“With how late you were, I thought that maybe you were going to stand me up.”
Robyn sighed. “You can blame Fi and Joanna for making me late.”
May looked at her curiously. “Oh?”
Robyn nodded. “They wouldnt let me leave until they approved what I was wearing. Though, that does mean I owe you something.”
“And what could you owe-” May was swiftly interrupted with a kiss from Robyn. Her face went red with a blush as Robyn pulled away.
“I owe you that for being late.” Robyn smiled and picked up her menu. “Now, what do you say about making this a night to remember?”
May nodded, her blush still spread across her cheeks as she looked through the menu to order. Tonight wasnt going to be one she was going to forget.
