520 and 521 : A Boxiao History 🤍

CPN and all that good stuff related to this celebration for the past few years. If you are not familiar with it, 520 means I love you and it’s considered their Valentines day. 521 on the other hand means “I am willing”. Individuals celebrating 520 and 521 have been known to take the opportunity to express their feelings for their partners or crushes through social media. It’s also prime time for brands to market and release their own 520 promos and limited edition merchandise. This post will cover 2016-2021. Please note that this post is very CPN biased and it’s okay if you don’t believe any of it. Lol.

• 2016

During this time, GG was still filming Superstar Academy in Hangzhou and almost daily you can see fansites posting photos onset. However on 5/18 there were less photos and it seems like GG got off work earlier than usual ( as per resource blogs who posted that day ). DD on the other hand was in Sanya filming the TTXS episode where he was a pilot.

5/19, DD jumps on a flight back to Changsha wearing a pink cap ( and we know what color he associates with love ). GG then surfaces back in Hangzhou to resume filming @ 10:20.

CPN: GG went to Sanya. This is like probably not real at all cause this is 2016! Lol. Unless you believe in Devil Timeline.

Now we arrive at 520. GG posts a series of selfies from filming SA but as you can see there are two that are out of place. He is in a car and then he blurred something at the back. Lol. Of course our CPN brains will think there is someone there, that’s why he blurred it. Who? We don’t know.

DD on 520 was working and had an event with UNIQ ( Changsha ) ; a coincidence, he does a gesture that portrays a rabbit. Interesting.

The next day he left Changsha to go to Seoul, all photos from fansites had him with a pink cap and a completely different outfit from the Weibo selfie he shared. Why are these two sharing photos that are not from the same day? Stock photos? 👀

• 2017

5/19 GG went to Duyun ( Guizhou ) for filming of Fights Break Sphere and he was wearing a pink top. Do you see a pattern here? Lol. They like Pink. Around this time DD was filming Private Shunshan Academy and there were a lot of on set videos posted.

Now on 520, GG posted a weekly vlog showing his big hotel room with a very nice bathtub. Just watch it. my god he was so wholesome. He even said here that 520 is important and I agree! 🤍🌸

How about DD. He shared a short clip of an Action scene from PSA Drama. That’s all.

• 2018

5/18, they both left CQL filming to go to Beijing for their own work engagements. One flew from Hangzhou ( DD ) and the other from Yiwu ( GG ). DD was wearing the off-white top we are all familiar with ( black for him and white for GG ).

5/19 GG was filming a video for his cooperation with KFC and he said this line :

"Suddenly I regret that you are not by my side, because your figure has been deeply engraved in my mind and cannot be erased."

I mean it’s most likely fanservice thing but considering that he’s been working with DD for the past weeks already and they had to part? Hmmmm. Maybe this means something more to him that time cause he can relate. 👀

Web was @ KFC Live event the same day and then in the evening he flew back to CQL shooting.

5/20, This is the reason why I made this whole post cause I remembered the whole posting about KFC on 520. HAHAHAHAHAHA! It’s so iconic. KFC Couple. 🤍

GG had an event with XNINE for their album in Beijing and he went back to CQL shooting early 5/21.

Look at their respective 520 and 521 posts. It’s the same format of 4 photos. Did GG copy DD this time? Also if you look at the time GG posted, it’s so early. I guess he wanted to post at 520 but then decided to just make it a 521 post as an answer. 🌹

• 2019

This is a popular one, because GG’s 520 post he was wearing a similar top as DD’s. Tho you can argue that this was a popular print at the time and pretty common— but no. It’s the same one from off-white. Same exact style. What we don’t know tho if what GG was wearing was his or not. DD posted with the kadian 23:28 ( love zhan, love bo. ) CQL has not aired yet and most BXGs have not been all FBI on them so there were probably other things going on that we didn’t pick up on. ✌🏼

• 2020

As we all know, GG was not in the public eye during that time so it was DD who was so extra this whole time. DD posted this Douyin where he sent a Love Gun. Which is their thing. 🤍

Now the star of this year was undoubtedly DD’s 521 Ben and Jerry x Nike post. I will just direct you to other people’s post about it and it’s truly a fandom favorite. Yibo had no chill that time.

@untamedconnotations post on it and more of what was happening and all the speculations. and why BXGs like us should try and keep things in our circle and continue to speak in codes.

@potteresque-ire dives deeper on this date and talks about how this is more than an endorsement and why certain people panicked. This one is very interesting and a must read because I don’t think anyone talked about this.

There were also talk of them being together this day, GG allegedly driving over to where DD was. DD was supposed to have an optional rehearsal but he didn’t go. He also booked two hotels and didn’t who up in either one. So where was he? Probably on Ninja mode with GG. Around this time they already had the resources to hide when they want to. Personally, what stayed with me from that chaotic day was the glimpse of “Have some faith” printed on the clothes. It was such a nice message considering what was going on that time. I felt like it was intentional, it was a message to stay strong. Yes, I have faith and 2 years later I still do. I still have faith that these two will make it through. 🤍

• 2021

TRISS AND SHES SO BAD ABT IT AS WELL. shes the MOST restless sleeper u will ever meet, absolutely throws herself all over ava during the night and if ava was as fuck-off-strong as she is, i have no doubt triss would succeed in pushing her out of their bed on multiple occasions

neither, fortunately ! tho on the odd occasion when ava sleeps, she is sometimes woken up by triss sleeptalking during nightmares

honestly neither again, mostly bc triss is so busy and her apartment is too small for anything other than her bird. triss is definitely the type to pick out the ugliest/most feral stray animal she can find and gush abt how cute it is tho!

triss! she likes cooking even tho she’s not very good at it. she sometimes asks ava to help her in making recipes that ava likes or is more comfortable eating, bc of the whole sensory thing

definitely ava, tho i would argue - at least in the context of their relationship - that its actually a good thing, or at least a healthy thing. triss HATES conflict that involves voicing her own issues w something, and much prefers to just bury it down or pretend it doesnt exist. which isnt healthy at all ! so a lot of their arguments usually have to do with ava trying to get triss to have meaningful dialogue with her and not hold back so much.

hmmmm, ava gives them unironically (like. triss’s cousin once overheard ava call triss “my love” or “my heart” once and NEVER lets triss forget it) but triss absolutely goes out of her way to come up w some truly creative ones.

ava !!!!! i feel like after 900 years she would be Extra worried abt that kind of stuff, and severely catastrophises abt how absurdly fragile/vulnerable she thinks humans are. like triss will get a cold and ava will still partially act like its 1183 or whatever and her gf is literally at deaths door lmao.

hm both ! ava tends to get frustrated a lot at everybody in general, but triss has an annoying way of cutting thru all of that lol. whereas on the other hand, like i said, triss just doesnt get angry, and even if she does she tends to just move past it as quickly as she can because she doesnt want to argue

who clings to the other for comfort when they’re sad or scared?

i think both, but in slightly different ways ! triss always wants comfort from ava, whether shes happy or sad or whatever lol, but i do rly love the idea of ava relying on triss a little more for emotional support once they have been in a relationship for a while, and once and ava feels safe w that kind of thing............like just letting her be vulnerable with someone whom she trusts, just for a little while.... 

who is more ‘physically passionate’? (hugs, kisses, or maybe more…)

again i would say both in different ways ! it rly depends on what the q means by passionate. like triss is very handsy and quite physical w her affection, and ava is more into the subtler stuff. but in saying that, when ava does get physical its WAY more intense and ‘passionate’ in that sense!

So I stumbled across some info about the new IDW Transformers

and I’m already groaning. I’ve quoted the sections I’m reacting to below, but you can read the full article here.

“...this new series provides an opportunity for new readers to join us who may have been on the sidelines wanting to get in but overwhelmed by the sheer volume of storytelling, while at the same time renewing our commitment to our long-time fans and giving them both a satisfying ending and an exciting new beginning."

Kinda have to renew that commitment after the way the last series ended. Let me spell it out for you: “Unicron” and “satisfying ending” do not go together.

“The previous Hasbro comics universe was one that meant a whole lot to me. I love that series and those versions of the characters. But we hit a really natural point to put a genuine, and I hope satisfying, ending on that story.”

You shoved everything you didn’t want to deal with into a closet, then set that closet on fire so there would be no need to ever come back to it.

"It’s not always easy to write gigantic, mechanical, shape-shifting alien beings in a way that makes them relatable and sympathetic," said Kelly. "But that’s what we need, because these characters have dreams, aspirations, and motivations that are not that dissimilar to ours.”

Here’s a novel thought: if the aspirations and motivations are similar to those of humans, maybe the fact that they’re different on the outside has no bearing on how relatable they are? Maybe, just maybe, you’ll be fine as long as you respect all of your characters and don’t assign certain individuals to be scapegoats and laughingstocks and punching bags? Hmmmm?

“Perhaps the single biggest difference between IDW's previous Transformers comics and the reboot is that the new series is firmly set in the past. Transformers won't showcase Optimus Prime and the Autobots defending earth from Megatron and the Decepticons. Instead, it's set during the golden age of Cybertronian civilization, before the planet was ravaged by civil war. In this era, Optimus Prime is still known by his original name, Orion Pax, and he and Megatron are still close friends and allies.”

Okay, you have my attention. Not my trust, but my attention.

"Cybertron in this story is part of an interstellar community; it’s a place with its own culture at a point where that culture is undergoing seismic changes. Being ground-level in this world gives us a perspective we’ve never had—we’re not entirely among the movers-and-shakers, we’re seeing what it’s like for normal citizens."

Still waiting for that other shoe to drop.

Enough Bumblebee already! He’s already taken the lead in at least two animated series and a live action movie, we don’t need more Bumblebee!

If you’re a Bumblebee fan, great, I’m happy for you. I never found him interesting myself, but I didn’t hate him until he was being forced down my throat at every turn. Now I can’t stand him and I am not happy about this.

“We were also intrigued to learn about another new addition to the Transformers cast, Geomotus. Geomotus is a character who struggles with social interactions and could be said to fall on the autism spectrum.”

I have a bad feeling about this.

“Barber clarified, "Geomotus is one of the first openly neurodivergent Cybertronians. He struggles with unfamiliar social situations and doesn't care much for more aggressive bots like Prowl. He can deal with the unfamiliar, however, as long has he has his "shapes"—essentially blocks that help him by giving him something comforting to focus on. And with his shapes in hand, he'll end up on the crew investigating the murder mystery because he's a master of geology and of finding patterns and small details in Cybertron's very metal that others overlook."

Welp. Time for a checklist. Here are three things - just three - I am requesting for this new character.

Make him a fully-developed character with a personality, not a collection of symptoms.

Give him reasons for the way he behaves (and no, “because autism” isn’t a reason). Example, we know he struggles with social situations and doesn’t like aggressive bots. So make the obvious connection that he’s been bullied in the past for being different and is wary of it happening again. Or maybe he misinterprets forceful behavior as anger and worries that he did something wrong. Or heck, add some sensory processing issues to the mix - maybe aggressive bots tend to be too loud, or too active, or in some other way overstimulating.

Do not use this character for comic relief.

I’m giving you one chance, IDW. Don’t mess this up.

“We're trying to show the wonder of being alive on a planet like Cybertron and we're trying to show even more diversity in its population. It's really easy to make the Transformers alien and that can be fun, but it's important to make them human, so to speak—because that's how we relate to them."

(Hope it’s okay to use your art as my icon! If not I’ll change it) what are your favorite elements about JayTim? What makes you love the pairing so much? Asking as a fellow JayTim shipper XD

My fave elements about JayTim? Hmmmm, well, first and foremost I think its noteworthy to mention that I like to some extent all variations of Jason, and all variations of Tim; each version has its own merits and the headcanons / AUs / Canon-ARs I derive from canon are usually a melding of characters in their various iterations. 

So for starters, JayTim easily fulfills my most favourite tropes - enemies to friends to lovers, especially if you dabble in post-crisis/pre New52 timelines. I like the fantasy that two people who were at odds could reconcile and turn tragedy into something fulfilling for the both of them. I feel like getting to know Tim, being with Tim, is a path towards Jason getting better; a lot of his hang ups hinge around being ‘replaced’ and a lot of his anger and aggression were directed at Tim specifically. Moving past all that means Jason heals in a sense. And I think Tim could deal with the time and all the baggage that journey would entail. 

In a way, we almost see this reconciliation in canon. New52 gives us the ‘you came back to life.... that was a lot to digest. Maybe we’ll all get it some day’ moment. And Jason easily has the best batfam relationship with Tim. Now we have Rebirth, where Jason  is trying for Bruce. But since Rebirth is meant to follow in the same timeline, I’m going to say that Tim was a big stepping stone (even without my shipper goggles on). So, yay canon

They also fuel my love of the socially awkward nerd getting together with the jock trope but more - I mean, Jason isn’t lacking in the brains department by any means, but he’s definitely more prone to using force. And Tim...Tim is brilliant but he can be kind of oblivious, and kind of an ass, and kind of full of himself - and honestly I think that kind of a personality suits Jason’s SO well. He needs someone who can put him in his place and meet him barb for barb b/c you can bet it won’t always be sunshine and rainbows (and Tim can, mentally and physically if push comes to shove). 

They definitely get my size difference kink going ;D lolol And they’re pretty (do I need more reasons than that?? haha) 6′0 225lbs vs 5′5″ 125lbs yes hello I volunteer as tribute *_*Tim is a self-professed nerd and Jason uses words like, “bamboozled”; they’re a match made in heaven XD lol

Any pair that refers to each other as ‘moving like liquid silk’ or ‘fighting real pretty’ deserves to be together imho. hahahaThank you again, I hope this fulfilled your question!!! : D

Episode #1: “brb gotta go to dinner” - Logan

This is literally the worst possible outcome, I would know the 10 fkers on the other tribe and only know of like 2 people on this tribe, sayonara it's a wrap a mere 5 minutes after the cast reveal concluded.

Omg! So this game started and i landed on a short witches tribe.. Maybe we are short but the humor around Helgamine is definitely tall. Love my tribemates! They are a bunch of really chill and fun to talk to people. At this stage of the game my goal is to get a good grasp on the already existing pre-game relationships within people. This knowledge will allow me to know what to say and to who. Other than that i'm focused on developing bonds with people without approaching them with gametalk. A pretty slow start for me, i don't need at all to jump into making alliances left and right. It's the beginning so its important to just leave a good (and non threatning) impression on my  tribemates.Those people seem to want to CALL a lot during the day JASHDKGAHD and i'm still exhausted from study group calls for exams so.. i'm not gonna be trying to do a lot of that. I'm however really excited for what's this game is going to bring up <3

Gonna do my own first impressions as well, to put some of my thoughts together.

Daisy - oh how i love her.. She's so positive and adorable. We have a pending plan for a call and I'm really looking forward to it. She's more experienced in discord ORGs than me and we are both BaR winners so.. we gotta work together. At least for now. She seems like someone that would be a bigger threat than me down the road.. I feel like we have a potential to work together well and I'd want to establish a duo with her and be partners in crime in this tribe. <3

Scott - OMG the only person in this whole cast that i actually knew before this game? we didn't talk in like 4 years but when i saw him in this cast i literally gasped. I enjoyed catching up with him and he is definitely someone i could see myself aligning with. Yesterday we shared each other concerns about a mention of alliances and alliance calls. And neither of us  introduced gametalk with other tribemates. He also mentioned that he wants me to be his #1 in this game. And i'm digging that!

Rob - OKAY our conversation on day 1 was p much awkward.. We have a mutual friend from the fb org and he was mad at me for winning an ORG over her and he literally didn't hestitate on letting me know that.. But we talked a lot yesterday and found out many common interests. He wants us to be like Fenella and Shonee and i mean why not? I really like talking to him but i'm not sure if i can trust him yet. He's the first person that reached out to me about doing a call and we did one today LMAO i had a lot of fun. He's definitely very social so keeping him as close as possible to me can only bring me some benefits. stan him tho <3

Seamus - Someone who i saw around forever but never had any opportunity to talk or meet his ass.  i just vibe w/ his clowny personality and already called him a caveman and a half british. <3 hoping to build a good connection here.

Logan - Funny and very active. He definitely stands out as he talks the most in the tribe chat and plans all the tribe calls. We had some good convos so far, mainly about total drama. Love watching his videos for this immunity challenge KSAJDHG but other than that i'm not sure how i feel about him but i would like to get close to him and work together when the game gears will switch on

Jules - She's so adorable and our talks are very cute but... they don't happen very often.  And she's not really contributing in the challenge so far which i really hope is going to change because in case we lose i fear that people will view her as an easy prey for the first boot? I hope that won't be the case and that she's going to snap cuz i think she's lovely and i enjoy our conversations.

Conor - Didn't have much to write about him until today. He just dyed his hair to the same color i got last summer so we have no choice but to stan. For real tho, we are the only europeans on this tribe (maybe even entire game?) but i don't have much to say about him. Curious how he will approach the game once we are forced to start playing.

Gage - Hmmmm! I like him, but don't really have any kind of trust towards him. He's just quite flirty and the flow of our conversations is weird/forced? I can't stop thinking abt Dean Kowalski and Spencer whenever he messages me.. It's like he's their survivor child.

Vincent - Great he immediately brought up his twin brother with who i played twice and ended him... twice as well. I literally have no idea how or what to talk about with him :/

Hmm the challenge is almost over

I definitely wasn't a challenge MVP by any means. I think everyone but Scott outscored me. But I did a lot better than I could have expected at the challenge start. 65 points isn't a Dooze-level score but it's a lot better than the 30 points I was expecting earlier.

Lol I'm super happy to be apart of this season!! So far it's turning out to be a great one and I'm hoping that I can do what I need to in order to get far.

Not gonna lie I just had a feeling we were gonna lose this challenge. Like I just... stink at challenges and knew I wasn't going to do well. So I just made sure I didn't have the worst score. Which I hope puts me in the clear. However, i lowkey get the vibe I might be going just cause the conversations are so... bland. Like no ones come purposing an alliance and such. I know I don't want to be the first person to do so, which means someone's gonna have to step up.

Anyways, here's my thoughts on everyone.

Szymon: he's cool, definitely my #1 out here, we've known each other from previous orgs and such. Seamus: I know who he is from tumblr,  but I don't know him that well. he seems chill. Daisy: Queen, shes an icon and O hope she can be my female iconic duo Logan: He seems like he wants to be THAT person who likes to be in control of everything, but doesn't want to come off as controling everything. So I let him think he owns me :) Vincent: I like him, he's a cool guy and one of the few I've talked to the most. He already told me about his vote steal and I'm just like "damn, look at you go!" Conor: He's cool too! I enjoy talking to him when I wake up in the morning. I like hearing about him and his boyfriend too. Gage: home boy likes to flirt around with everyone doesn't he. i'll play a long, but leaving a mental note to not go far with him. Jules: They're cool, not really that social tho but they try. Rob: I forget that he's on this season oops.

I really thought I was gonna get the boot first cause everyone is just so quiet. But the conversations seem to be between Jules and Vincent. Which I'm personally okay with either of them as long as I'm still here. I'd prefer Rob though just cause he doesn't make an effort to talk to me that much, but it is what it is.

Let's hope I get by this round and can survive the first boot. I like to think I can, but you never know with this group.

we lost the challenge which sucked. but i really like my tribe. everyone seems chill. i didnt think we were gonna win the challenge though becase several people didnt rlly try to even get 100. so originally i thought it would just be a super easy vote on vincent because he isnt very chatty, but logan is annoying everyone. asking to one on one call and sinking his own ship by pushing so hard (giggity) for jules to go home. so i think either logan or vincent will go this round

I’m liking my tribe mates more than I expected. I’m just trying to play it cool so I make it to merge. I feel like that’s everyone’s goal. I love the alliance of Cindi, both Dylan’s and myself. I’m hoping that we stick together, because I feel like we can be a really strong alliance moving forward. I also think I might be good with Beck, because they’re dating Asya and we played a game together a couple years ago. Asya apparently still really likes me from what Beck said. So woo! Let’s continue the good vibes.

So past 4 hours is a lot to process, but basically i got home expecting a pretty easy vote on Vincent. He's a great kid that but have to think about performing well in the challenges as a tribe. So then miss Logan decided to play as if it was merge and not day 3 and just went off with targetting Jules?? I am not having any of that because Jules is too fun to talk so i made sure to let Jules know immediately of what was going on. I believe i was the first to warn her of what's happening so that brings us two closer. Logan then went on calls with everyone individually, ending my call in such a shady way with an excuse of having a dinner... when he was just going to call with Seamus. And he told Seamus that he was currently eating the dinner.. WHAT? Anyway just got the tea that Logan was making multiple trios as well. WHY DO YOU NEED TO PLAY SO HARD? THIS GAME HAS JUST STARTED skjdghd

I feel really bad because he said that he was the first boot the last time he played due to playing hard. But this is just him... not learning from his past mistakes at all :/ Im sorry but i don't feel comfortable moving forward with such a ticking bomb. Neither he or Vincent have any benefit for my game at this point so Im hoping this plan that we put in motion with Daisy to get rid of Logan works, and then we have Vincent as an easy vote next time we lose.

So I'm more optimistic now that I've properly gotten to know a lot of my tribe, I think I'm socially in a good place but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself and get lazy with communication. I love the little group I've got with Beck, Cindi and Dylan and I think Dylan G and Christian or Chips would fit in like a glove if we ever visit tribal council, and we needed to bring in another couple of people.

All I have to say before tribal is that I really... finessed this vote.

Logan got lose and decided to voice call everyone telling them that they need to vote Daisy. Which made a lot of people more on edge to vote out Vincent. I don't want Vincent to go because I think he's still useful. He has the vote steal advantage and I think he's someone who trusts me. He might not be a number for other people, but Vincent is a number for me. SO I want to keep him around as much as I can cause I trust Vincent more than Logan. So to save Vincent, I decided to throw Logan under the bus and push for him to go. I'm glad I did that since that got traction with Szymon and Daisy on board with voting Logan. However, they weren't enough so I campaigned to Seamus, Gage, and Rob to vote Logan out. They were hesitant at first, but they eventually came around and got on the ship to vote Logan out. I had to voicecall Gage, Rob, and Szymon to convince them but I'm glad it worked. I mean, i had to throw out there that I had an alliance with Logan and Vincent in order to get them to expose Logan's other alliances, but I did what I needed to do in order to save Vincent. So with everyone on board to vote out Logan, I think I set myself up to be in a good spot moving forward.

If I'm gonna be the move maker this season, then I guess I'm starting out the game with one of the biggest moves yet. Poor logan being the first boot AGAIN, but that's what happens when you decide to scramble your butt off.

Okay guys...

I would like to take a moment to look at something that is undoubtedly on everyone’s mind: the PewDiePie issue. I will NOT speak about the issue directly here; I want to focus on the people who HAVE. I’m not here talking about Felix. I’m here to talk about Mark and Jack.

As most YouTube fans know, both Mark and Jack have put out videos responding to the issue, and they each did it in a very different way. Mark chose to use the issue as a springboard for his comments on a much wider subject: human decency. He called for people to stop using harsh labels and spewing hate at others, because doing that is not giving that person a chance to be an equal. We all make mistakes, we all do stupid things, we all make people mad. BUT- that does not give anyone the right to attack someone else or throw a horrible label on them and stigmatize them without looking at them as a whole, real, living human being. Mark’s message was one of respect for your fellow man as an equal. He is now being called an enabler of hate and a coward.

Jack posted a video, about twice as long, addressing the issue directly. He looked at things such as the WSJ’s article and media attacks on Felix (at his personal address, mind you) and YouTube cancelling Scare PewDiePie’s second season, a season that Jack was costarring in. He stated that he admits Felix messed up big time and has to face some consequences, and that technically the newspaper and YouTube have the rights to run/not run, air/not air anything they want. That is within their company rights. Jack tried to let people know that Felix is a good person, but he just made some choices that were unwise. Jack is now being called a backstabber.

Now... let me break it down to its very simple points:

Mark: Posts a video that is, more or less, a response to the PewDiePie issue; not one that attacks the problem directly, but instead looks the elements surrounding the issue. And he’s a “Nazi-enabling coward”.

Jack: Posts a video response to the PewDiePie issue, tackling the subject directly and giving us all the information he knows, and then commenting his thoughts that, YES, Felix f-ed up big time and there will be consequences, but that does not mean we and the media should be so brutal. And he’s a “backstabber”.

Hmmmm... 

Mark - doesn’t address the specific issue, is a “Nazi enabler”.

Jack - addresses the specific issue, is a “backstabber”.

Does that sound a little fishy to you? Because it sure does to me. It is a lose-lose situation. Because people are so willing to go to war with other people over the internet and will look for anything to start a fight. I am not going to say I think one or the other handled it better. I am just here to lay it out the way I’m looking at it. It would not have mattered which route they took, because they would have received hate ANYWAYS. Doesn’t that sound WRONG?

Disagree with them all you want! They both have embraced the discourse! Totally fair opinions to hold. But, everyone is missing the main points of their videos entirely. These two guys, both similar pop culture icons to and good friends with the man in question, are trying to satiate their communities and possibly offer solutions to the pure vile hatred coming from those communities. And both of them lost. If you don’t like Mark or Jack, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE OR WATCH THEIR CONTENT OR FOLLOW THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA. If this particular issue really squicked you that badly, maybe open a polite discussion over it. Or, if you can’t/don’t want to do that, just calmly take a break from the content and let this thing work itself out. Hell, unsub if you feel like you must. Just... you can do ALL of those things without spitting acid at them in the process! You don’t have to have the last laugh, because there’s nothing here either of them are laughing ABOUT! It’s like at the top of some fanfics, “don’t like, don’t read”. People have claimed that I am biased on this subject because I am a huge fan of both Mark and Jack. Okay, maybe I have some bias. I see them as brave heroes for doing what they did. That’s my subjective opinion, my bias. However, the objective issue still exists:

THEY WERE DAMNED IF THEY DID, DAMNED IF THEY DIDN’T.

And that, folks, seems pretty wrong to me. I stand by Mark and Jack. They do not deserve this. These are two dudes in their mid-twenties trying to make a living by making people from the ages of around ten to probably thirty or so laugh. They are human beings. They have lives outside of a webcam, families, friends, girlfriends... They’re just like you and me. They just have a YouTube channel that happens to 16.5 and 14.5 million subscribers. They’re wonderful guys who give to charity and go visit sick kids and help animals and reach out those in need... Mark is not a Nazi enabler. And Jack is not a backstabber.

I’m sorry this went on so long, I wanted it to be short and to-the-point... but there is so much happening with this issue right now that I feel like I had something to add to the discussion.

The law of polarity is a universal law that governs this physical existence, It is described to be: In the presence or manifesto of two opposite or contrasting principles or tendencies. Being a Gemini myself born June 1st, 1986 I am here to offer some perspective on Duality. We are well known for our dualistic nature, after all we are the twin sign. “Gemini” is the third astrological sign in the third astrological sign in the zodiac originating from the constellation of Gemini. Under the tropical zodiac, the sun transits this sign between May 21 and June 21. Gemini is represented by The Twins Castor and Pollux.[3] The symbol of the twins is based on the Dioscuri, two mortals that were granted shared godhood after death.[4] Sign characteristic of a Gemini Wind - Air. Side note: Reflecting back I always went with the flow of things growing up, I just discovered it is simple that way. It was only when I did not go with the flow of things I experienced the most resistance in my life. When I became aware of the astrological information regarding my sign I began identify with its many aspects and it only gave me a deeper understanding of the “person” I am. Exploring some of the strengths, Gemini’s are generally known to be versatile, quick witted, sensitive, intelligent, creative, artistic, social, passionate, disciplined, thoughtful, crazy, loving, and funny. They have a deep appreciation for the arts, philosophy, writing, history, nature, and the cosmos. Just as they have all these really cool strengths, they have their weaknesses some of which are, indecisive, nervous, short tempered, frustrated, non-social, detached, isolated, forgetful, impatient, and the most notorious of them all inconsistent. When I first decided to unify the two talents my work immediately evolved, it was a benchmark in my life. Like the old saying goes, “Opposites Attract”. Have you ever asked yourself why is that? When these forces are equally unified it creates harmony, by understanding these laws it helped to identify with what needed balance in my life. Think of it as a reciprocal relationship, a constant give and take. Theologian Richard Rohr, refers to this relationship as a “Divine Dance” Even the cells running through your body operates in with the same mechanics it is a universal law. You are by nature attracted to your opposite I would consider this divine orchestration a reflection of completion. People in romantic relationships are generally attracted to someone who is completely opposite of them and when they unit they act as a mirror to one another. When these qualities or energies of both parties are met subsequently you have something that is complete. When there is unity there is balance, and where there is balance there is strength. Literally one cannot exist without the other, anytime God created something he divided it from its opposite. Duality speaks of conformation and witness; the number 2 represents division to show you both ends of the spectrum. In many Chinese traditions they understand this law as Tao, living in harmony with the “Yin and Yang”. The Gnostic belief in the dualism of flesh and spirit—with the flesh being evil and something to be freed from, while the eternal spirit was good—also originated in the lie Satan told Eve. Gnostics, in general, believed that the purpose of human existence was to return to the spiritual realm from whence all originated. Death, then, was seen as liberation of the spirit. Referencing Genesis 1 King James Version (KJV) 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. You can see how the creator engineered this existence to be an exact opposite of itself. People would always refer to my brother and I as "Day & Night", I was “Day” and he was “Night”. Paired together we are a brotherly couple unmatched, were are a reflection of each other literally. I exemplified qualities of a positive vibration he on the other hand, display frequencies of a negative one. It’s only when you have a charge from both a positive and negative source can a battery be powered! Speaking of which, being positive and negatively charged I have theorized the Sun and Moon act as a power source for planet earth, one has energy contrary of the other. The idea of duality is subliminally perpetuated throughout our culture. If you direct your attention to characters in the comic books such as the Iconic Superman, who walks a human journey simultaneously walking a superhuman one. In the likeness of being human he is Clark Kent on the job working the day to day. When he is Superman his abilities are ultimately used for the greater good of the world. Although he possess all of these great abilities appearing Godlike to humans his weakness is Kryptonite, it is often used by his enemies to weakened Superman. Metaphysically speaking this is symbolic of duality. One is not independent of the other, It evolves as one entity or one unit. You have your human assignments and you have your spiritual ones, and It does not matter how powerful you are, all superheroes have a weakness. Using superheroes as an analogy the same principle applies to characters such as Spider-Man, The Hulk, Batman, etc..They all share a duality, it is the gift and the curse. As Gemini’s we tend to hide or separate these things in fear of being rejected or misunderstood. The flaws and imperfections are apart of the same elements that makes us great. This makes me beg the question are Gemini's undercover superheroes? Hmmmm...... I am just joking, although I can attest at times I’ve held back at revealing my true nature in fear people would not understand or judge. I no longer wish to hide my “true” self, and to my fellow Gemini finding balance will help you flow with the wind. There are many facets of dualities we see in today's world, essentially they all share an underlying theme, there is an infinite cycle of balance "One cannot exist without the other". “It is my belief that people who are born under this astrological sign are excellent conduits of balancing these dualities on this physical plane! ART OF A GLAMOROUS WOMAN & other tangents

There is a real art to being a glamorous woman. I have learned that when I eat a big mac burger, I should throw my hair back behind my shoulders, (lest I get salad in my hair and unbecoming wet white streaks of mayonnaise lining it), and lean forward: and there I am created as ART, not through any aesthetic intention, but simply as a natural and pragmatic response to my environment….. it’s a matter of SURVIVAL — for the glamorous woman.

They say I am a construct. But some things just happen !

Some say the high heel is a patriarchal enforcement on women. Maybe it’s true…..

Maybe it is not true. Some kind of artisan spirit in old days I believe saw its beauty (as the foot can naturally bend this way, it’s not fully unnatural as many say) on many women who arched, and decided to find a way to distill it forever: held in place by the foot shell itself — THE STILETTO. and allow it as a prolonged state of being. It’s the prolonging and permanence that is unnatural, rather than the position itself.

Some say it’s the ORGASM feet position.

Well then I’m in an eternal state of ecstasy forever.

Which we all know is a continuum of pleasure and pain……

Ahaha. But I think gender shouldn’t be enforced -- a painful and potent and state-altering object like a high heel shouldn’t be forced on anyone! BUT NEITHER should it be DESTROYED. Like the current attempt to destroy the gender binary, as not everyone fits in the rigid gender binary. But some people like being binary, and fit that mould. So then they will be vilified, those who endorse gender archetypes! It’s really encouraging a culture of acceptance of people’s DIFFERENCES that I think would be more appropriate. Those things like gender are just the surface symptoms of what is actually our human mechanics (fearful or difference, ostracising the weird ones, harking back to our tribal days -- but there were many people I remember at school days for example, considered weird and cruelly ostracised -- which had nothing to do with gender revolt -- they were still mocked. Yet gender is the big discourse today. If anything I found children at my school quite experimental -- it was looks, being good at sport, social adeptness, that organised the hierarchy, and a few undercover gays and lesbians actually quite high up the hierarchy. Nerds and those considered strange people were at the bottom). Though here I forget myself -- for on the street and the sidewalk, subversive play with your gender is the most attractive of either people wanting to aggravate and attack or mock you, or touching their nerve and shocking them. It’s so funny that it is one of the most potent identity forces (wonder why -- cos it insinuates sex? And makes them very afraid of what they could feel.. I take on an amazonian warrior woman identity though and can handle bad and naughty men (and women) -- and there’s many lovely people too, so sometimes I forget. But again I think we should not destroy things, perhaps a broad history of art, culture and anthropology into people’s minds from a young age would cure the culture of thinking everything now and what they are is normal, as compared to people who are different, who actually proliferated various times throughout history. And like second-wave feminism’s attempt to destroy glamorous women, say they are stupid, and write her off as simply a fantasy of men. Removing agency from the woman’s identity. I always found this more catty of feminists than the women they complain about. And then modernism’s trying to destroy beauty -- I believe simply through actually the fact it is competitive rather than it having an inherent bad or cliche quality. The world of nature in that it is not exactly fair. There are many much more beautiful than I. But I still celebrate and love beauty as a divine aspect of nature. Why should I destroy beauty should I become jealous and envious of those more beautiful than I? Caging it will just make it an even more FEARED force. I remember at art school my overt celebration of beauty provoked nervous reactions..... I think it’s good to critique beauty and of course beauty is not everything, but the pendulum swung too far the other way in recent years completely rejecting beauty ! Now I see it coming back. It’s ultimately a good psychological discipline to have -- to be able to appreciate beauty though you are not beautiful yourself (I think most people are like that anyway). 

As I click-clock with my heels that when I walk through a train station echo like bugle calls I am powerful like a horse (and with my hooves I could tear a six inch incision to any man who tried to mess with me!!!)

I am powerful, but there are many who want to subjugate my power. Assault and attack!!!!! My click-clicking does send an alert to my enemies and make me VULNERABLE TOO. But if it brings me to battle it is for I am a powerful adversary.

And well they say it was the patriarchy and men that came up with all these things like heels and makeup. (Weren’t the eyeliner wings we wear today originally by the hand of CLEOPATRA??)   But has anyone thought, back when the bible said a man shouldn’t lie with another man, it was actually an undercover GAY MAN?????!!!! ( or a transgender spirit ??? ) With a great eye for detail and design and adornment and the SILHOUETTE of a woman.   Undercover, incognito, feigning interest in the woman for a matter of survival, BUT well the interest was true, just it was not that of the same as the red blooded lusting straight man ! It was a different interest that could masquerade as another: an eye for beauty, feeling design inspiration, she is a DIVA and a MUSE. Maybe this is historically inaccurate need to do my research lol.

With all my heart and all my mind, we’ll find a way to create and bind……

My friend says the straight male mind is one of a general picture. Whereas it is her other female friends who comment on and pay attention to the details of eyebrows etc. things of DETAIL AND  REFINEMENT. Maybe that’s a generalisation I am always curious to quiz straight guys on things that belong to realms which they have little acquaintance either through bashfulness or simply no interest. Such as, what do you think of Madonna? (though formerly she was a sex icon to straight men in early 80s, it’s with age she became more of a gay icon).  

But my thoughts all relied on if she has long hair and heels though, and that archetypal look of glamour. And is it not a European one ?? Hmmmm But there are other environment responses that can produce GLAMOUR AND DEBONAIR

But I forget I am not really a woman (or am I? Depends what you mean by woman -- the surface of one, or the through and through biologically reality of one? we do identify each other by our surface and what we appear to be. Which supports the theory of those who say a transgender woman is not a *transgender* woman they are just a WOMAN. Personally I’d call myself a man first/originally a man/part man -- but now art-woman. Maybe I am a hybrid. I’d say my personal philosophy is in the middle of gender essentialism and gender constructivism ). But what I was going to say, I am not really a woman am I? We are all simulacrums of each other? ! ?  Well it’s complicated-ly interlinked, but I think that gender is neither wholly constructed and fabricated not purely biologically. It is both is an intersection of culture and nature (as says Camille Paglia). My glamorous debonair is more complicated than the simplistic gender discourse of today !!!!!! It’s my brain, spirit, outside forces, cells, imagination, psychology, all reacting against one another to produce me. Super-natural !!!!!!!!!!!
