there is no cause in calling or messaging alex, you know he will not answer. not when qualy is just an hour away and he needs to be prepared.

you don’t know where you are. you see the main entrance a couple of meters away, but you can’t remember where to go from there. but you also can’t stand all day in a place you don’t know, surrounded by fans and people too eager to notice how lost you look. the best you can do is walk around and find your way back; if you have any luck you’ll find alex’s garage before he has to go out. to wish him luck and punch him in the face.

you send him one last message, promising to make his life a living hell, and put your phone away.

you’re trying to follow the path you remember in your head, when someone comes barreling into you.

“hey!” the person says a little out of breath. “i was just looking for you.”

you take off your sunglasses to get a better look and it dawns on you that you definitely know this person. or at least you’ve seen him countless of times in your tv, sometimes in alex’s instagram stories too.

“charles!” you really don’t know him, this is definitely the first time you are speaking to him, but you’ve never been so happy to see someone you barely know before. “oh my god, you won’t believe what alex did to me.”

“i know,” he says immediately and you furrow your eyebrows. he shows you his phone, as if that will tell you what you need to know, but when you don’t speak, he smiles hesitantly. you don’t know if the blush on his cheeks is because he was running to get to you or if it’s for a whole different reason. “i saw your story and thought maybe i could help you?”

you process his words for a few seconds, until you realize who really is in front of you. “oh my god, charles!” you exclaim a little louder, drawing attention, and you witness how people begin to notice charles’ presence because of that. he looks at you with confusion on his face, race suit hanging low around his waist. “you’re not supposed to be here, you should be in your car.”

charles’ blush deepens. “yeah,” he says, scratching his neck and avoiding your gaze. “but i couldn’t leave a pretty girl here all alone.”

now it’s your turn to blush, cheeks heating up so much that you’re sure everyone around you can see it.

“let’s go, please. i don’t want to be the reason why you’re gonna be scolded for.”

you walk beside him, trying to give him space as he takes selfies with a few fans that have the courage to approach him. however, charles apologizes with a smile when he sees you a couple of meters away and, as you walk side by side, you can’t help but notice heads turning in your direction and whispers of your name and his.

you fall into an easy conversation that ends up sooner than you’d have liked. but you don’t part ways until his number is on your phone and the promise to text him on your lips.

With that, you smirked and put your phone down on the counter. You grabbed the half-full mug of water and the file you had prepared and made your way to the office where you knew he'd be waiting. You glanced at yourself in the hallway mirror, giggling in excitement at what was about to come. You knocked on the office door, waiting for instruction to enter.

"Come in."

"Professor Harlow, is this a good time? I know it's the end of the day, but I'd really like to talk to you about my grade." You spoke innocently, just your upper body barely in the door, as you asked permission. You saw the look of realization cross his face, a smirk appearing as he registered the theme you were going with this time, before quickly disappearing. He maintained a stoic expression on his face as he leaned back in his chair, nodding his head to encourage you to enter further into the office.

You sauntered in: your hips swaying back and forth like a metronome, your short skirt brushing the exposed skin left by your thigh high socks, your heels clicking against the hard wood with each step, your silk tie brushing against the cleavage from your partially unbuttoned top. You had searched high and low for the pieces of your outfit, not realizing how hard it would be this far from back to school season, but you had managed well for yourself—Jack was certainly satisfied with it. You watched him adjust himself in his seat, his legs spreading further apart as his eyes hungrily scanned your entire body, keeping a cool expression on his face the whole time. As you came around his desk, you placed the mug in front of him, just barely on the edge of the wood, the file with a fake essay placed next to it.

"Like I mentioned earlier, I'd like to ask about my grade. I really need to pass this class, Sir." The honorific causing his nostrils to flare as his eyes met yours. "Is there any way I could get any extra credit?" You bat your eyelashes at him prettily, exaggerating your faux innocent look.

"Listen, Ms. Y/L/N, I'm afraid my grades are already in. I can't make any changes." His voice was husky, making you shiver. He grabbed the file, pretending to examine the contents, "seems like you just have to retake the class next semester," he sighed, before closing the file and placing it down again. He looked at you with faux sympathetic eyes.

"Oh, well. I guess I'll just have to study harder next time. Maybe find a tutor or something." You sighed in disappointment. "Thank you for your time, Professor. I know you're probably eager to get to your weekend. See ya Monday, I guess." You maintained that air of sadness in your tone, a pout on your perfectly painted lips. You dramatically reach over for the file, making sure to knock over your strategically placed mug into Jack's lap. The cup was only filled with a few tablespoons of warm water, but it was enough to fuel the next scene of your performance.

He wasn't expecting it, the water spilling on his crotch as he moved to sit up a bit in his seat, catching the mug and placing it on the desk before it could fall to the ground. You turned to reach for the cloth you had placed on the corner of the desk earlier in the day when you had concocted your plan.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry, Professor. I'm such a clutz sometimes. Here, let me help you," you insisted, trying to keep a smile off your face at how cheesy this all was.

"I've got it," he said, reaching for the cloth in your hand, but you were quick to press it right on the bulge in his pants, making him groan.

"Please, Professor, let me help you." You said again, this time your tone seductive as you continued to dab his pants with the right amount of pressure. You felt his hand go to your wrist as his eyes fell closed, enjoying your kneading and pressing.

"It seems like it's soaked through the layers," you say with innocent concern. You push his chair away from the desk a bit, getting down on your knees in front of him. His eyes were hooded as he opened them, taking in your new position from between his legs, his vantage point giving him the perfect view of your pushed up tits.

"I'll need to take these off to dry you properly, wet denim can be really uncomfortable." Your hands go to undo the button and zipper, tugging them down his thick thighs with some assistance from him. You continue using the cloth in your hand to dab at the barely there wet spot of his boxer briefs, his hard on pressing against the fabric.

You wasted no time, grabbing the base of him in your hand as you stuck your tongue out, running the flat of it up the bottom of his shaft before swirling the tip of your tongue just under the head of his dick, making him groan. You had taken a tablet about a half an hour ago, the effects of it overproducing saliva and numbing the back of your throat. You took him into your mouth, curling your lips and hollowing your cheeks to suck him in.

"Fuck baby, you're so fucking good at that," he complements, loving the warmth of your mouth around him. You started slowly, taking him inch by inch, allowing your spit to escape your mouth and travel down his shaft, letting you work whatever wasn't in your mouth with your hand. You return your focus back to the task at hand, turning around to look for the small Tupperware container you had placed under the desk earlier. You had filled it with boiling hot water, so by now it would have cooled down to a warm temperature. You took your cloth from earlier, dipping it in the warm water before ringing it out, using it to begin cleaning up the mess you two had made. The sudden contact had made Jack flinch, his eyes opening to see what was happening, a smile on his face as you began to wipe him down.

"You really thought of everything, didn't you?" He chuckled tiredly.

"Mhm. A good director has to." You winked at him, before getting back into character. "Did I do a good job, Professor?"

"You did a great job, Ms. Y/L/N. I think I could change your grade to a B." He informed you, making your face drop and your hands stop.

"A B?" You question, clearly offended.

"If you're not happy with that grade, I'm sure there's something else you can do for an A." He smiled wickedly, his dick twitching as you watched it harden slightly.

"Oh," you smirk, "well like I said, Professor Harlow, I'd do anything to pass your class."

Actually, someone made a post discussing this. I cant remember who it was but they made a good point-

In Above and Beyond(?), Natquik is introduced to Tracker and they both act as if they are meeting each other for the first time. But in that flash back with Barnacles, Tracker was there.

If you look at Barnacles and Bianca compared to the other scouts, their outfits are different..

They put it all together and it looks like Natquik was there for Barnacles junior/younger years in the polar scouts. But at some point he disappears..? Then later on when Barnacle is a senior polar scout he falls in the ice. So it looks like in canon that Natquik wasn't there when he fell in the ice. WHICH would be wonderful angst materal.

Barnacles and Natquik are back together on an adventure and they fall in the ice. Natquik is fine but Barnacles is panicking. When they get out he tells Nat the whole story. Nat would feel horrible for not being there for Barnacles all those years ago.. :'(((

HOWEVER.... I'd like to think that Natquik was there through all of Barnacles polar scout years and saw him graduate. Where he eventually retired young to go and do research in the Antarctic. Hmm.. I'll have to think about this one <XD

Uhhg, yeah. The DLC lost me at Cassie. That was already complicated enough. And then the Mimic came around and the 3 other suits and the weird glitchy computer bunny thingggg

That's an interesting thought actually. I imagine Freddy wouldn't really like to look at it too much. I have this idea that none of the Glamrocks really like their new forms. Freddy especially, he misses when he was shorter and softer. He was very huggable and it was very rare that a child was scared of him.

Now a days he's mostly just designed to look flashy, not really to hug. And his sheer height means that some of the little kids are afraid of him. :( So looking at one of the older model behind the glass- although its tall too, it'd probably make him sad and miss his old form. :((

Actually its funny that you mention Foxy's legs. Since I've designed Foxy, Bonnie and Roxy with those legs, I've been going back and forth constantly on whether or not it was a good design choice. I kept considering going back and redesigning all of them to have normal legs in my FNAF recap/repair. But I ultimately I kept them for reasons that will be explained later 👀 All in all- I'm glad you like them! :DD

Mmm, I'm not so sure. Some older employees know that Bonnie and Foxy are down there. I don't think seeing him active again would make them bring him back to the stage. They don't have the authority to do that. They would most likely just shut him down again. Maybe even remove his battery so he cannot be reactivated..

Also if I were to make a Glamrock Bonnie design, personally I would keep him purple and make him look more bowling ally themed. <XD Maybe someday I'll draw that! :0

Intro to my new series involving Ladybug, Yuichi, Lemon, and Tangerine; The Garden 🪴 🐝

Ladybug and Yuichi teamed up with Lemon and Tangerine after the Bullet Train incident and they are creating their own underground group for underground jobs. Since they are all well known assassins, the jobs they get pay a large amount; so much so that they had a whole luxurious safe house built that they called The Garden.

Knowing that they needed a handler, they invited you to live in the tech quarters of the safe house. You are now enjoying life everyday with your best friends in your new home.

Codename: Bumblebee aka BB

You’re section of the house is called The Hivemind where you manage the missions, the hacking, and suppling of The Garden.

Although being a critical part of a secret assassin organization can be a little stressful, you find yourself very much at peace with your new roommates.

Lemon is like your big brother that you could always rely on for advice (especially on people). You both are also the cooks of the house so you guys like to bond on recipes and how fucking useless the rest of the crew is, even when it comes to making eggs properly. You also are the one to provide him a full-year supply of Thomas the Train stickers so he could use it on every mission; which surprisingly has become a very helpful must have item on the job.

Yuichi is very closed-off but at the end of the day, you guys can always have a laugh on the couch while eating Cheerios and watching tv. Whenever Wataru comes over from his grandpa’s house, you always have a blast playing with him; Yuichi tells you every time how much he appreciates you for it. He also prefers to refer to your codename in Japanese; Hachi. ps. he refuses to have a silly codename.

Ladybug is the type to want to take you out for fun outings and yoga sessions. Whenever you both feel like you need a break or want to celebrate something, you two band together to make it happen for the crew. You’re both each other’s wellness bestie so he likes to come to you to help him mediate or relax from a stressful day of being a bit unlucky.

Tangerine is the man you come to for suggestions on top tier stuff. He has amazing taste in clothes, supplies, furniture, books, and basically everything. He has such a knack for details that you can never go wrong with his opinion. One day, you and Ladybug were planning an outing to a fancy restaurant to celebrate a very successful pay out. You asked Tangerine for his input on what to wear to look as sexy as possible. He actually chose a dress for you that matched his suit perfectly and you both went arm in arm, looking like celebrities going to the MET Gala. From then on, you trusted his input completely.

They are such different people but get along pretty well despite their occasional clashing of personalities. Each one of you has a role to play and you all do it well so no matter how tense things get, you all manage exceptionally in each mission. Living together only brings you all closer and sometimes, especially with how open you are with them, maybe too close… in a good way.

a/n: you guys have no idea how excited i am for this story to begin. just writing this intro got me so hype that i’m going to try to make this like as top tier as i can. as a heads up, i will be working on this all weekend and will have the first part up by monday since I want to make it longer and more tidy than the rest. and who knows, maybe it will be a little smutty throughout the series…👀

I have many thoughts and many feelings - only some of which are about whacking Maverick with a hockey stick!

I’d love to see Bradley get Zam back on the ice but I’m convinced that that’ll take a while longer. Maybe hockey is broadcast at Christmas so it could be a game against a local team?

I also have thoughts about Ice and Bradley in the SDD verse. Because Ice became Maverick’s friend /after/ everything happened with Goose. Does Bradley resent the team owner for not doing enough/anything at all?

(Also, semi embarrassing confession moment. The first hockey romances I read was the Off Campus series by Elle Kennedy and like two of the characters went on to play for the Boston Bruins. I think they’d still be playing in 2022 so I have a fun little thought of them meeting the Dogfighters sometimes…)

Sooo, hockey is actually NOT broadcast (thanks football 🙄) during Christmas so the guys get a couple of days off. No direct spoilers but I will leave you with a line from Chapter 17: “Come on Honey, you wanna go on an adventure with me?”

I’m so glad you brought up Ice because while we haven’t seen a lot of him so far in SGS and YCMBWH, he’ll feature heavily in TLG. As for Bradley’s relationship with him, I don’t think Bradley would be mad at him simply because I don’t think he actually knows all the details of what happened with him and Mav. We know that while Dare was around during his childhood, he didn’t know she was Maverick’s wife and barely knew who Maverick was until they met at Carole’s funeral. We don’t know why Carole kept him in the dark when it comes to aspects of that story. He will eventually learn the whole story but until then I don’t think he really has any idea that Ice is involved or if he does he doesn’t know how much.

I will say, the Dogfighters play the Bruins in Chapter 18 👀 And idk if I’ve ever mentioned it anywhere in the fics yet but Ice and Cyclone both played for the Bruins back in the day! Ice was playing for them when he first met Maverick!

I read the first of the Off Campus books!!! If you haven’t read the Consider Me series by Becka Mack, they’re my favorite hockey romance series 🥰

WHOO Thank you for this one! I am so sorry it took me so long to answer ;--;

They really...really have a complicated relationship at the start. And they really, really have a lotta shit they need to work through. So here's them being not so nice towards each other...*sigh* they're stupid.

They'd cut it far too close this time.

The Phoenix zipped into hyperspace as it cleared the planet's atmosphere, the hull rattling around them as it picked up speed.

Risha could hear the fussing of sensors coming from deeper within the ship, even as her raging heartbeat threatened to drown it out entirely.

Way too close.

Emeldir was still fetched up against the wall of the airlock where he'd landed after they'd flung themselves inside. He pressed his head back against the metal, mouth moving in a series of what she could only assume were breathless, silent curses.

From the way his chest heaved, it was no surprise any words he spoke were silent.

Her own breath came in short ragged gasps and she swiped away the beading sweat on her forehead with a sharp motion as a sharp spark of anger that flared in her blood. She swore her veins were boiling, even as it reared out of nothing.

"What the hell were you thinking?" She burst out, stalking over towards Emeldir. The young captain jerked to a fully standing position so fast he almost slammed his head into one of the protruding metal struts set into the wall. His eyes blew wide and she knew that startled deer-in-headlights look.

Sometimes it endeared her. Right now it just infuriated her.

"What did I do?" he pushed a hand through his sweaty hair, eyes darting around to everything except her as if the walls and the floors would hold the answers to her ire.

She didn't even have the answers.

He continued, "How was I supposed to know they set off a detonation device for the whole damn sector?"

She jabbed a finger into his chest, glowering up at him, "Exactly, you don't know. You're too young and too inexperienced to be captaining this ship, you're going to get us killed!"

It wasn't fair, not really, he'd proven himself time and time again since getting this ship back that he was capable and he was only a year younger than she was. No one could've known about the hidden trap rigged beneath the sector; she certainly hadn't.

If anyone needed to know better, it was her. And there was nothing she hated more than that oily, tingly feeling of something almost going horribly wrong. Like the pins and needles right after you almost get into a speeder accident.

Control, she needed to rein it back in.

Emeldir was still gaping at her, brows drawing low over his eyes. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but she burst out before he had the chance.

"You like to think your hot shit because you get to ride on the coattails of Captain Rielay Taqq, but you're nothing without her to go crying back to, you know that? I don't know what bullshit confidence she put into you, but it's going to fuck all of us!"

She didn't know if she wanted him to back down or wanted him to fight back. She wasn't sure what she wanted other than the fact that the roiling, boiling something needed somewhere to go.

Any other time he would've looked like a sad, kicked puppy. But something sparked in him too, an uncharacteristic flintiness overtaking his expression.

"Knock it off, Risha." A growling edge to his words. Anger. She hadn't heard that kind of edge before.

She tilted his head, narrowing his eyes. A savage delight fanned the flames of her adrenaline, a thrill from her careless bluster finally being met, "Or what? You gonna go cry to mommy and daddy on Coruscant? Maybe get Rielay to come get you so you can play star ship captain another day?"

He stalked close enough that she had to tilt her head back to glare at him. He wasn't in her space, not like others she'd pissed off.

"I said quit." Though sharp as a knife, his words were quieter. They weren't snarling at each other across the airlock anymore. He'd brought their conversation in.

She was suddenly very, very, aware of the heat radiating off of him, the singed metal and synth leather smell of his jacket. The way a few sweat laden strands of his hair dropped in front of grey eyes that glared down at her. Hard as blaster metal.

Her heart stuttered a beat. She bared her teeth and repeated, drawing out every letter.

"Or what?"

Maybe if she riled him enough she'd finally snap that stupid, infuriating perfect little Golden Boy personality. Maybe if she chipped away enough she'd find the corroded, rotten core every smuggler seemed to hide under a pretty, gilded exterior.

Something in the quirk of his eyebrow, the way she immediately knew he wouldn't rise to the bait, snapped the tension in her.

She grabbed him by the front of his jacket, yanking him down to her. When their height difference closed enough one hand planted on the back of his neck, fingers curling into his grown-out hair, and crashed their lips together.

A muffled sound of surprise escaped him and he went entirely still.

Then control slipped from her fingers again as his hands found her jaw and slipped up, into her hair and tangling in her carefully done up-do. Pins clattered to the floor, pinging off the wall, and her hair half tumbled down around her shoulders.

It wasn't until her back bumped the wall of the airlock, Emeldir's weight firm against her, his warm all around her, that she realized one hand kept careful guard of the back of her head, keeping her from hitting the metal.

She gripped the front of his jacket harder, chasing the kiss as he pulled back, their foreheads resting together as they shared ragged, sharp breaths.

When she blinked her eyes open, his were searching her face from beneath the hair falling in front of his eyes.

"What do you want from me?" he panted.

Nothing.

Everything.

A reaction. A validation to everything she expected from him.

For him to be nothing like the others.

She shoved away whatever possessed her to kiss him, the intense desire to do it again. The gravitational pull that kept yanking her back into his orbit.

She ducked beneath his arm, refusing to look back at him. Whatever she would see there wasn't worth the trouble.

"For you to get your shit together and not get us killed." she snapped.

Hoping desperately that he wouldn't see the flush rising in her cheeks, or the way she couldn't quite catch her breath.

It didn't matter. He was a smuggler.

It would never work.

2. Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

Planning happens very, very rarely. I tend to write with a very loose idea of what's going to happen. This doesn't just apply to chapters but to entire fics. Sometimes I go in knowing maybe 2-3 specific scenes/moments and the rest of it is all just optimistic keysmashing, hoping my hindbrain will Do The Thing and make it work.

On the rare occasions where I do plan, it's when I have the whole story dropped in my brain in one go. That said, my version of a plan is usually 3 bulletpoints of things I need to happen. A good example of this was when I was working on Bark and Bite and it was the first full moon chapter. My outline was: Ed hears Stede go crunchy, Ed thinks the wolf ate Stede, Benny-Hill-sequence around the ship, FRIENDSHIP. So, as you can see, I take it super serious 🤣

oooh, but on that note, let me show you the planning I did for my original writing, because writing time travel - especially multi-timeline time travel - was a hell of a thing. I had to break it down by day, character and chapter to keep track of who was where/when since I needed it to work within the rules of time travel that I had within the story. This was for one book. The next book was so much worse. I had to resort to colour-coding.

As you can see, it got pretty specific.

8. Do you prefer the beginning, middle, or end of a story?

I haaaaate endings. I hate trying to find a way to tie up everything in a way that doesn't sound twee or silly or cliche. Don't really have a preference for beginnings or middles because I enjoy the journey, but me and endings are old enemies. Plus there's that whole ADHD thing of getting 75% done, knowing how it ends, and then having to fight my own brain to finish anything.

27. What is your most and least favorite part of writing?

I think the least favourite part is the finishing, as mentioned above. It's so hard.

But my favourite things are two-fold and they dovetail into one another so nicely:

when I write something into the story and I don't know why I've written it into the story, but I just look at it and I know "you are important". I don't know why. I don't know when it'll be significant, but I feel this deep sense of Rightness that this is essential and important and it has to be there. It could be something as trivial as a picture-frame or a certain book. It might be a fly-by one-liner that seems like a joke in passing, but when I look at it, it's like a hook in the middle of my chest and I know YES. THIS.

the second part of this is when I get to the reveal of why that thing is important. It's like that mindblown gif, because so often it's something so small and insignificant, I don't even realise that it's a single thread of a tapestry I've been weaving and suddenly, the story would have made no sense without it. It doesn't seem relevant but suddenly it's there and it's integral and I frequently find myself clutching my face and going 👀 because I never ever see it coming until it happens.

A perfect example of this is my Turning Tides/Storm Surge combination. Turning Tides started life as a series of one-shots that escalated into a full series and there was stuff I put in #1 that I went "I feel like this seems relevant..." and it was only when I read back after finishing Storm Surge I realised I had foreshadowed huge lumps of the Storm Surge arc. I didn't even notice but my hindbrain is always whirring away like a coked-up hamster in a wheel. It comes up with plot twists that make me yell, so I can only imagine how my readers react :D My old flatmate used to come and check on me when I was flailing too loudly over Surprise Plot Twist 17 that I wrote but didn't see coming 🤣

I have a kink for apology/angst scenes haha, if couldn't already tell from my past works. It's just something that I feel everyone thrives for, especially myself, where the love interest apologizes for all their wrong doings and admits that they long for yn's forgiveness and love. Mama is a heart throb

🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?

Any scene with shinobu in my Gamer Giyu fic "The Perfect Date". I tried to make her as funny as possible in that one, and believe me, there were plenty more funny moments of her in my draft for that fic that I ended up having to cut out bcuz I felt it drew away from the plot too much. Oh how I wish to make a fic just for her lol

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

I like to make the love interests assholes sometimes, just to piss you guys off hehe, everytime they do something shitty that makes you hella sad, just know that it was me 😈

✍ Do you have a beta reader?

I don't unfortunately, I kinda just go read over it myself a couple times to check for mistakes but thats pretty much it. Ngl lie though, I am kinda interested in having someone else proofread for spelling mistakes and plot holes, any takers 👀 preferrably someone who's talented with that sort of thing haha

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

I always enjoy a good simile and metaphor here and there, not really sure about themes... love at first sight maybe? enemies to lovers? tsundere? I like sad fics as well that have happy endings, I will never, ever do a completely sad ending, i just don't like them and they leave a bad taste in my mouth

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

Dog, I dont even knooooooooooow, i think all of my fics are pretty straight forward and tame. Maybe Regrettable? All of my super crazy fics are still in production so we'll just wait and see, but for drafts rn, my "No Escape" (Sanemi x Reader) series is gonna be hella crazy, so just you wait

⛔ Do you have a fic you started, but scrapped?

Yup, for those who remember, I was working on a fic called Night and Day about Kyo x stepsister reader who was living with him. Originally I had him as a yandere, obsessive person with reader being uninterested in him and the fic being non-con, but I ended up scrapping the whole thing and changing it to be a fluff fic with reader living with kyo, reader having a crush on him, and slowly the two grow closer, with tons and tons of angst and sadness. The original outline for the non-con fic is on my patreon if anyone would like to see the poor thing, it had 8 chapters outlined too haha. what a waste.

Girl Imma talk about I'm Yours, my upcoming series ab alpha kyo and omega fem reader. I am sosososoosososossosos excited for this one yall have no idea. I've already mapped out the chapters and plot and everything. Im currently working on chapter two and just cant wait to get this shit done so i can post everything. I'm just excited to add to the very small pile of kny omegaverse fics and hopefully the series will inspire more abo creations for demon slayer. I would start off with headcannons, then short scenes, then one-shots, then multi-chapter. I went backwords from this list and i wish i didnt haha. theres nothing wrong with doing it out of that order of course, I just think its the best way to build up skill and get a hang of things. Also dont be afraid to take breaks! burning urself out will lead to depression babes

It depends on the type of criticism. I appreciate it if its about errors in my writing since i still have some growing to do in that department. But there has been some drama ab the things I write ab that people find...distasteful. If you don't like what I write ab, leave, dont waste my time pretending to be a mutual, I write for me not you. Some of yall have some real mean girl mentalities and need to grow tf up, this isn't fucking highschool. Im glad for thei experience tho bcuz it's taught me how to deal with negative people better. On the more constructive side of things tho, if you see errors like plotholes, devices, or grammar in my fics, please tell me! I miss shit sometimes and appreciate the help to better my work

25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story?

Bucky's favourite drink is a Mamie Taylor. He never much got to drink it, because the places they usually went to before the war didn't really do cocktails (more like beer and hard liquor, you know?) He rediscovered it in the 21st century, by which point it had also become Steve's favourite - because, well, nowadays the drink is called a Buck.

35. What’s your favorite writing rule to smash into smithereens?

Write what you know is the obvious answer. Like... no? Sir, this is comic book logic. I'm no brain surgeon or neurologist, I'm going on pretentious name dropping and wikipedia alone. I've only been to a tiny fraction of all the places I name in the series; I only know Brooklyn by google maps street view. I never once ran an international intelligence agency or worked as a black ops agent. How the fuck would I ever write anything if it was just me and my life experience??

The other thing I've seen as ""advice"" before is to not use semicolons. Which, fuck that. You can pry those from my cold dead hands because I need them and we're bound for live, it's a love story, etc etc.

As for the snippet you asked for, of course you'll get one! A long one even, right under the cut. It's from the latest chapter I wrote, only just this morning.

Because Steve moved back to the Heights. Once he'd found the place, he knew there wouldn't be another choice. He's just a few streets away from the place where, before the war, he was the happiest. Just a few block away from his and Bucky's old place.

A few years ago he probably wouldn't have been willing to pay for his new place. Able, maybe, but too stubborn to give in to the insane prices that a place in Brooklyn will cost in this century.

Except the prices have gone way down since the Snap. Fewer people in the world means fewer people with the kind of money that can afford a condo like this. In fact, the apartment Steve got here is probably way below the kind of place he could afford. He started realising way back when he first moved to DC that there's a whole new world of apartments that he could afford, way more luxurious than this one. He never cared for that shit, and he's not starting now.

This condo's more than enough, really. It's a quiet street, relatively speaking. It's only a short way to work. He's close to Cadman Plaza, which opened in 1939, when he and Bucky were still living in Montague Street. It feels familiar. Steve sometimes goes by the War memorial on his way home. Somehow, that feels way more sincere than the showy statue of Captain America in Prospect Park. After all, Captain America never lived in Brooklyn; he never set foot in it, not really. In Brooklyn, Steve's ever only been some guy. A mouthy one, yes, but nothing special.

Bucky would disagree on this. But that's not the point.

I've finally had time to read the latest chapter!! I'm so excited!!!! Like I always feel nervous going through new chapter. Nervous for what is going to come and wanting for more horny VP.

I knew that the food wasn't from grandma! It's such a nice touch, how Vegas was involved with food in the series and definitely is his love language. I love how Pete finally decides to let himself have the pleasure he wants. I'm reading and thinking "aha! That's what she chose to change/leave in the story!" I'm constantly trying to figure out what events will be present from the canon and which not. Fully knowing we are mostly around 13 episode storyline of the series only bad things are waiting to happen. If I had a bingo then Bloody Vegas is being crossed now. Pete not wanting Vegas to die and tending his injuries is still waiting to come 👀 The amount of thoughts and character they received from you is why I still think The Graveyards are the best VP fic out there. Now they almost feel like original characters with how real you made them. Feels just like reading something whole, not just a fanfic.

They do match eachother and could be such a power couple. I would love to see Pete's darker side, more honest. Will his loyalty change when he learns who voted to kill him? (I have my opinions who was it 😅). I've smirked how quickly Pete went from "you hurt my friend" to being unable to resist him. Their bickering is what I love the most. And how Pete knew he wasn't choking him (cause he did it once already *cough*) and was just playing. They maybe are poor basterds but at least they get eachother unlike anyone else. My headcanon of them both being unhinged and fucked up is sitting so well with your depiction.

I kind of dislike Kinn so seeing him in a tight spot and being embarrassed by Tankhun was a fun time 😂

I'm going to patiently wait for more and simp over them for a while. I've been listening the unhinged playlist and I'm still shocked how much it's like "it's THEM".

I'm curious if you have already planned the story till the end? You said that you start a chapter by writing some scenes you wanted and then fill in the gaps. Are these scenes the spicy ones? Action? Plot twist? Or Pete's monologues? Or maybe it depends. I'm curious about the writing and thinking process 😅

Hola!! Omg I’m sorry it makes you nervous!! Lol but understandable as each chapter is A LOT. Oh so so true food is such a part of his love language- acts of service for sure! Yeah it’s interesting for Pete because the methods he was using to protect himself almost become the same things which are preventing him from being in the moment because he’s constantly overanalysing their dynamic and trying to figure out who is winning or dominating or in control at any point in time so he’s not able to fully let himself go. But we all know Vegas is desperate to help him lose control, relax and just enjoy himself

Oh lol that actually would be fun trying to figure out what’s still going to be in the fic vs what was in the show honestly I think most of the overarching themed are there but yes elements have definitely been fleshed out a lot more with a bigger focus on the characters and their emotional states. Which is kind of common for tv tbh- they never really seem to leave room for trauma and the characters addressing it. Lol yes can’t escape bloody Vegas the way he interacts with the world that is a given at any point in time. Oh good question! Well I am going to follow the show to it’s completion and let’s be real probably beyond that because an ending can always use more detail. Probably will be more of the same thing- Pete still trying to work himself and Vegas out and understand his feelings eventually. Yeah the process is really up in the air tbh I did start publishing way before I was ready so I caught up to my drafted bits much too quickly. I still have some future scenes already written some confrontational some spicy but yeah the rest is all floating around in my head somewhere. Truly wasn’t expecting the reception this fic has got so if I would change anything I might have waited a little bit longer/had a bit more written before I started but that’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes!!

HOW HAVE I NEVER WRITTEN S5 NARVINROMANA BEFORE

There's an assassination attempt at least every other Tuesday, for Rassilon's sake — all of him, every regeneration, and the Rod and robes and blasted sandals as well — and Narvin cannot stop shaking. When Leela left, he thinks she took all their collective strength with her. Maybe she was their strength.

Either way, his hands shake near-constantly these days and a part of him longs for the Axis, lonely and desolate as it may have been. At least it was safe. At least they were together. With first Braxiatel, who admittedly, Narvin did not mourn as much as he could have, and now Leela gone as well, albeit in a much different way, thank goodness, there is half of them missing. It's like losing a limb, or a heart stalling.

Romana frowns, lines between her brows deeper than Narvin can read, whenever she sees him. She's cut her hair. Lady President Romanadvoratrelundar has only had hair this short, not even to her chin, once before, and it was a great many years ago on their own version of their planet; after Etra Prime, if Narvin, who was quietly puttering along in his own shadowy work at the time, remembers correctly. This is something they do not talk about.

They don't talk about Leela, either. They talk security, and reinforcements, and politics and plans. They do not talk about Romana's hair, which Narvin keeps finding himself staring at, or the deepening worry lines between her eyes, or Narvin's shaking hands. Sometimes, Romana's hands shake as well, like she's trying hard not to fall apart, and this, too, is something they don't discuss.

If Narvin is beginning to shred apart at the seams, then Romana is about to shatter. And if Romana shatters, then Narvin will be cut open, and neither of them will ever be whole again. (Neither of them is whole to begin with. They haven't been in a long time.)

So, just once, absolutely uncharacteristic much as he hates to admit it, Narvin takes a risk. There was another attempt on her life today and as common as it is, Romana is shaking despite her own composure. The two of them are composed of contradictions. She's perched on the edge of her desk, Narvin sitting in the chair itself, which somehow seems both backwards and completely correct. Her hands are shaking and she's pretending they aren't, except that she keeps combing through her short hair, can't keep still.

Narvin catches her hand as it drops from the back of her head and for the first time this entire evening, since the sudden rush of panic and immediacy that followed her nearly being killed, again, they both are still. Romana stares at him, for just a moment, eyes wide but the worry lines disappearing, and then squeezes his hand back. Wraps his hand in both of hers until he brings the other one up to join it and closes his eyes, feeling her double-pulse in her wrists and the cold solidity of her touch. They may not be whole, but they are both here. Romana is alive; this is what matters most of all.

He wishes he trusted the guards who watch over her. He wishes he could watch over her himself, so for now, he does just that. Holds her hands for as long as she will allow and maintains the pretense of conversation when she finally pulls away so that he has an excuse to walk her to her quarters. Were he more of a courageous man he might take one of her hands again, carefully kiss her knuckles. But, no, Narvin is a coward, and they are barely friends. But they're all each other has. Sometimes, their hands shake.

And FELT she should’ve been up there if you played as Lyra, or my personal ideal: you can’t see the figure on Mt Silver bc they’re covered by fog, and a text option pops up going “There’s a blurry figure. If I’m making 6 years pass since S1 of the anime, and Leaf’s older than Ash then technically…I have zero ideas for a ship name but man it sure is funny to think about in a Dad Lance context where he’s all “hey look, here’s someone like you who won the Championship young!” And Leaf just sees a weird goof with tacky fashion. Until she finds out he has “I’m too strong angst” in the way Red did. Who ran off to an ice mountain for three years. Then nothing is funny anymore. And everything with Rose. AND he has a little brother. That’s great because Lance is a father of two with Silver(? maybe in the non-anime centered fic) as well. Relatable. Younger siblings becoming the Chosen Ones all the time sure is wild huh? (Technically Ash unless if I bring in side-media) and it’s just plain funny to hear how annoyed Lance gets at her complimenting Leon’s cape as a joke but calling his an oversized bib on the wrong side and whatever else. Silly dragon man wannabe superhero Dracula looking- lmao. I noticed you have a love triangle with Leaf, Green, and Brock. Totally valid :D it’s cool co-existing with everyone and their different takes. I personally write Leaf and Brock’s relationship like the one between a law student and a med student.

'What Once We Were' or WOWW for brevity's sake, takes place post postgame about eight months following The Spear Pillar Incident. After telling Laventon that the two of them would likely never cross paths again, Volo suddenly appears before Akari, on his hands and knees, pleading for her forgiveness with a look in his eye that can only be described as reverence...

Things get weirder before they get better.

It's funny that you mention Leon x Leaf, because I was just telling a friend the other day how I think I'm the only person on the face of the earth who's thought about them as a pair. I envisioned the two of them meeting when Leaf and Green take a trip to Galar together sometime before the events of SwSh, and Leon is quickly smitten.

Leaf is just as silent as her brother, but she's an extrovert and makes friends with ease wherever she goes.

I have no idea what the shipping name for them would even be either. The closest I came was 'KanlarChampionshipping' (Kanto + Galar), but it's kind of misleading because neither of them are Champions later down the line - the current Champion of the Indigo League is probably still Kotone/Lyra or Hibiki/Ethan, not Leaf at the very least, and Leon loses his title by the end of SwSh.

So if anybody has any ideas for what their shipping name could be, I'm open to suggestions!

First off I very much appreciate your note about Bob’s big brother in fact being Owen’s big brother—I did think Future Man had a curiously outsized role in the behind the scenes. Granted, that behind the scenes’ whole vibe was ‘we emailed everyone involved, professionally shot three who turned up, and stuck in the self-filmed rambles mailed in by a smattering of others’, so I sort thought maybe his screen time was a matter of ‘well, he did in fact show up’—although itbf his being Owen’s brother doesn’t strictly discount that theory 😆 (Also my other favorite bit of that video was the very opening clip where Wes is talking about how people tend to respond strongly to his films, whether positively or negatively, and the cameraman goes, ‘well, that tells you something!’ and Wes replies with such earnest befuddlement, and a tinge of hope like this cameraman just might reveal the secret of it all to him: “Yes, but what?”

I haven’t properly sat down for another film yet, but I’ve been putting on the Night at the Museum films in the background. I have seen them before when I was pretty young—in fact it’s about the only thing I’d seen Owen Wilson in for more than a cameo pre-Loki. Between having watched the NatM movies at an age when I only vaguely distinguished between actors and characters, and the association being reinforced by Owen’s habitual cowboy hat, for a long time Owen Wilson and that excitable little man were basically synonymous in my mind.

So going back to it now was, silly though it may be, the first time I watched it going ‘oh hey—that actor right there is acting! :D’ And sure it’s no Mobius or Dignan for complexity, but it’s good acting, too! Genuinely I think it’s one of the best performances in the series when it comes to capturing the sort of cartoon-y tone of all the museum-pieces while also giving the feeling that that’s a whole person right there. And he also, once again, a completely different physicality to Mobius or Dignan. I adore the choice to play his physicality in such a way that it sometimes feels like his body just isn’t big enough to contain or express the size of his emotions.

I also didn’t realize I’d never watched the third film until I started it, which was a nice surprise. And I knew about the whole handholding bit with Jedediah and Octavius, but not the context. It has such clearly defined beats of: Oct: “We should hold hands.” Jed: “For what reason 👀” Oct: "No reason! Unrelated, I am in fact gay.” Jed: “Hell yeah, hand holding time.” (With an added dash of sweetness in that it’s become a well-defined character trait that Jed is ready to deploy his dying speech at any time, but once it’s been established as on the table he goes, ‘I’d rather just be close to you, actually). Anyway, to me at any rate it plays as ‘close to canon as we could get away with in a big budget 2014 kids movie’, and I do appreciate it.

Oh I'm positive you're right about Andrew getting such a big role in the bts documentary just because he showed up regardless of being Owen's brother lmao, but they did luck out considering of everyone involved from an acting perspective he was the most likely one to actually give them decent talking points regarding the process leading up to filming, set vibes, and more insight on Owen and Wes than Owen and Wes themselves actually wanted to 😂

Definitely feel you too about not finding time to sit for another movie as I'm just the same and when I do manage enough free time to start one it's still not even enough to finish in a single sitting 😅 You're not the first who's mentioned NatM being the main association with Owen pre-Loki which is completely understandable, I hadn't seen any of the movies until after Loki S1 and would've been way happier having grown up with an excitable mini cowboy at the forefront of my mind, lol.

Love that you brought up his physicality and setting the vibe because one major thing that's constantly delighted me about Owen is how he naturally adjusts to not only the tone of a film but the other actors in a scene better than anyone I've seen before and I think people really underestimate how valuable that is?? It's easy to think "oh well that's just what acting is" but actually pulling it off across such a huge range of genres the way that he does is really rare and like you mentioned in NatM it's extremely noticeable that he makes Jed feel real in a very exaggerated premise which also stands out massively in his cameos where I always find myself wishing whatever movie took place during the ten minutes he showed up in is the full movie I was actually watching because he's such a breath of fresh air.

Also constantly get caught up in the way he carries himself because that's such a huge element to the personality of his characters! In comparison to how Dignan approaches people in a unexpectedly blunt way that leaves them wanting more and Mobius intrigues in such a genuine manner that catches everyone off guard, for all Jed's teasing he's direct enough that Octavius knows where he stands but not so much so that there isn't room for the big dramatic moments they both enjoy before settling right back at his side. It's not only nice to see they did get as close to canon as likely was possible in such a big budget kids movie but that we all at least have a lasting ship of Owen's with a happy ending to console ourselves with after the Loki finale! Small victories and all that, haha

Pls tell abt your Joe and Columbo headcanons? 👀

Thank you for your ask Anon :) I have quite a few headcanons for Joe and Columbo :) The main one being that I like to think that they met once (or maybe more than once) when they were younger. I think this is very possible with what we know in canon about their characters. Columbo grew up in New York and we get to hear his lovely family anecdotes throughout the series including in this episode. One of the first things Columbo says to Joe is the pinball reminds him of going to the corner candy store when he was a kid. Joe also fled to New York as a kid when he escaped from prison. So it could be possible that they met when they were both kids. Maybe just briefly or maybe they became friends. That could be why they have such a connection in the episode - they maybe aren't aware of it but they've met before.

This could even be alluded to in canon when Columbo says they have met before even if it was just Columbo seeing Joe doing his show without Joe realising. This is fascinating to me too as Columbo seems genuinely impressed with Joe and not just flattering him.

More like flirting tbh :) Then later when they are playing darts together at the Irish pub the story of Sergeant Gilhooley - his sergeant back when Columbo first joined the NYPD is shared. This is one of the few times we hear Columbo specifically reference that part of his life. I think it's really significant and shows how he's comfortable enough with Joe and prepared to share these little things about himself and his background. And he does it in such a way that's natural, friendly and warm and doesnt come over as just a ploy or distraction as it does with other suspects throughout the series. Joe too shares little pieces of his background. We don't get to read his book like Columbo does (although imagining what's in there would make great fanfic and headcanons) but we get a lot alluded to over the episode. It gives the viewer lots of scope to fill the blanks in themselves which is another reason I love this episode and this pairing. There is just so much subtext!!!! :) We hear Joes tales told in public with humour but when he talks to Columbo about being a kid alone on the streets of New York he becomes sad and distant for a moment as he remembers before his ready smile returns. This is a glimpse of the sadness beneath his outwardly jovial self. I think he had suffered real trauma and lost some of his family to the conflict. And that can also be a reason for his drinking. Trying to cope. And also for why he feels so strongly for his cause. I see Joe being taken in by the O'Connells first as a worker and then as an ally and this is why I think he is loyal to them. It isn't stated as such in the episode but I see Kerry as Joes nephew and his mother as Joes sister. And I see him being very protective over him to the point where Joe would definitely go to jail to spare Kerry and keep him safe. I also have thoughts about Joe and Kerry being a cute little found family with Columbo and Dog. And sometimes with Columbo's wife who I see as more his childhood bestie in my universe. I love Joe's collection of floofy jumpers and I think Columbo does too :) They are so snuggly. The way the episode ends with that whole hand holding 'we are getting engaged' scene and Joe's offer for Columbo to 'join him ' and Columbo actually accepting - it just gives me so many thoughts :) So many directions this could go in post-canon. In my 'verse where Joe gets a redemption arc and gets to use his writing and fundraising for peaceful, healing purposes I can see them going on little adventures and even Joe helping out on Columbo's cases. Like Columbo's wife gets to do in canon but Joe is helping out and being a sounding board actually on screen :) This would be my little spin off series:) I can picture them together in Joes lovely little house near the beach (which is one of my favourite houses in the series btw as it's not too fancy and just matches Joes personality perfectly) A beautiful sunset over the sea and Joe doing some writing while snuggled up with Columbo and Dog on the sofa or in their little garden. I see them sharing coffee in the mornings, going for walks along the beach with Dog, getting an ice-cream together, talking through cases or about Joes latest book…..

So many possibilities…… I just can't see any other suspect going bowling with Columbo but Joe so would. Perfect date night………bowling, dinner of chilli, then darts and drinks in the pub :) We actually get these lunch and drink dates in canon so we are blessed :) I love that we get a Columbo and suspect relationship that is on a more equal footing. They both even know that the other knows Joe did it but they are still just so friendly with each other and genuinely enjoy each others company. I love the chemistry between the characters and the actors. It made me seek out other films and shows that Clive Revill has done and he is such a lovely, talented and interesting person too. I love the subtext. There are just so many fascinating choices made throughout the episode from a shipping point of view……. To name but a few……. The whole first meeting with the pinball, crawling around on the floor together, the resting on the beds together, the lunch date, the casual hugs and touches, the sharing of their respective backgrounds, the pub crawl date complete with moonlit stroll and romantic backdrop, the hand holding over the table in the last scene…….etc…… It's just impossible not to ship :) And fun to put the characters in different situations. Being cute and fluffy together. Columbo has always been a special show to me because of childhood memories and the character is so wonderful. And with my fangirl gaze that just picks up any kind of subtext and runs with it - it was inevitable I'd eventually ship him with Joe. The case can be made with other suspects through the series of course and I can see that too….. But these two will always be my OTP of the series. I have so many ships that I love but these two were one of the first. And one of the only ones with hardly any content online (this was before Columbo became popular on Tumblr). So I thought I'd remedy that by creating a lil sideblog :)
