#maybe i've been listening to too many japanese love songs lately

Dear Peppertaemint,
This unnecessary mess with Taemin and fan behavior has made me think about different levels of disclosure within the fandom community, the industry, if there are limits and who should be aware of them. I have some questions, more like openings to get some food for thought because I don't think there's some definitive answer to this.
Do you think an idol should be more careful when they disclose information regarding career management? I couldn't help but think of a similar situation with Jimin when he casually revealed in an interview with Japanese media that BH considered having a music video for the entire album an unreasonable request. That led to uproar and I admit I was surprised and angry myself. But then again, Jimin didn't elaborate more on that aspect and the matter hasn't been brought up again. I believe that the situation with Taemin is sort of similar, as in he made a statement on a live stream which was taken as an indication of mismanagement by SM. Do you take they should be more careful on how idols phrase their statements? Perhaps either elaborate more, knowing how the fandoms are behaving lately? Should they take that into consideration? Or perhaps they have no part in how fans are reacting?
Hi @reflections-in-a-critical-eye <3 I love that you sent an official Ask, lol.
Tumblr media
I've been thinking about this since the mess started, and although it is complicated, I think it's a mix of pervasive low EQ as well as the Western savior complex at play.
It would be a shame if artists felt they couldn't share what they already do with us. I appreciate Taemin's honesty, even if it creates chaos. I wouldn't want him to stop being himself because of fan behavior. Apparently, that's what happened with NCT Ten due to fan behavior, and now he barely comes to Bubble or anywhere to speak to fans. :( And we know Jimin really limits what he shares, too, so we wouldn't want that relationship damaged further.
What I think is required is EQ on behalf of the fans. This feels silly to write, but it's sort of EQ 101 that is helpful for everyday life. Emotions can be contagious and some people are more prone to catching them than others. Having healthy boundaries means not accepting everyone else's emotions. If an artist says "I'm upset" that doesn't mean you have to take on that upset.
Another part of EQ, complicated by social media, is how we interpret each other's emotions. In-person, someone can say, "I'm disappointed by this," and as the listener, we're using verbal and non-verbal cues to understand the full meaning of what is being said. How upset is the person, how much has it affected them, do they seem okay, are they sharing to unburden themselves, does the issue seem resolved? These are all questions that often go through a person's head when they're confronted with someone sharing their thoughts and feelings. When this happens in person, it's a natural process for most of us.
When we're encountering a piece of media, for some, it's much harder to engage in these EQ processes. When Taemin sends Bubble messages, unless he adds a specific marker of tone (like the Korean "haha" or "keke" or some other emoji or face), it's up to us to interpret the extra bits. We don't know if he was crying while sending these messages or playing Nintendo or something, totally fine (I don't think he was crying, btw; I am just using that as an example!).
I'm not sure what Jimin's non-verbal communication was when he dropped the bit about the label denying him music videos for all songs on his album. If he was smiling while saying it, that would be a signal that although a disappointment, what happened is okay. When Taemin said he was disappointed, he wasn't sad or distraught. Those non-verbal cues told me that, although it wasn't what he'd hoped for, things were okay and this wasn't something to dwell on. Instead, many people latched onto his disappointment and took an emotion that maybe seemed to be at like, an intensity of 3 (to me) and ratcheted it up to a 10. This isn't good for anyone, and especially not him.
The other side of this is fan as a Western savior (colonialist!). It's a constant issue when it comes to international fans of Kpop, many who are Western and perceive that Western ways are superior, and that success in the West is of greater value than success in any part of Asia. They also feel that they "know better" than industry people in SK (and often even their artist!), and that they must demonstrate activism on social media to "save" their artist.
A good example of this is that even when international SHINee fans were confronted with K fans asking them to stop engaging in online activism about Taemin's performances because it would be damaging to him to continue, they did not stop. Being confronted with cultural context (K fans were explaining that what they were doing wasn't good culturally and was reflecting poorly on him), they did no self-reflection but carried on, trying to "save" their artist.
There are a lot of nuances of Korean culture that feel counterintuitive to non-Koreans. I had a Korean friend tell me that I should use filters on my thoughts and opinions in writing so people understand clearly that I'm stating my thoughts and opinions, such as "I think that..." etc. At the time, I thought it was odd and a misunderstanding of rhetorical writing (LOL, me being an asshole), but later in my study of the Korean language, I learned that this is how people are expected to express thoughts and opinions in Korean and the language is set up to enable this. It's considered impolite or aggressive to use different constructions. So, in this way, I'm not surprised that international fans struggle to understand the Korean perspective. It's subtle and nuanced and might feel counterintuitive to them depending on their home culture.
There is one other facet to consider, and that's just plain bias. We are biased toward our favorites and want them to have everything. And how dare anyone not give them exactly what they want. Fans are like out-of-control parents at their worst, lol. So, even if a calm and perfectly fine Taemin says "I'm disappointed because of X", a swathe of people will go into crazy mommy mode. Give my baby boy everything!!!
Anyway, this is probably a too-long reply, but this is my take on what's happening here. I don't think idols need to change their behavior, even if part of me thought, Taemin, you've really done it now. LOL. There is a fundamental difference between sharing honest emotions and fans struggling to parse them versus situations where bullying and harassment are thanked or congratulated (RM), or someone saying they received death threats from fans is met with silence (BTS). Even though Taemin's words did spark the fan debacle, he still took responsibility for it all and spoke about Yeonjun when his junior was being slammed online. While it's true he made no mention of the girl group who covered Guilty, I think he mentioned Yeonjun specifically because of the fan's bad behavior.
Jimin may have deserved an infinite budget for his debut album, and I certainly would have loved to see more beautiful, dance-focused MVs from him, especially in a larger project a la Lemonade. But, that wasn't in the cards this time, for whatever reason. It's understandable to be disappointed by this. If I heard Taemin wanted a visual album and didn't get it, I'd be so sad. But I guess there is a final EQ point to be made. Just because we feel sad or angry, as you mentioned, that doesn't mean we have to act on it... Were you secretly emailing expletive-laden missives to Big Hit, hmm? Did you launch "akgae" campaigns online against other BTS members in hopes that they'd be sidelined so Jimin could get a bigger budget? Do you have a secret DC Gallery account?

Thanks for the answer Cinzia! Yes, as I said, I was thinking too much and ultimately have to seek refuge in "suspension of disbelief". I have two more questions. I am not sure if you can answer them because I did search around a lot but couldn't find them. The first being the English translation for Valentine's Day Tales for a Drama CD from the original anime. I would love to listen or read its translation and it would be great if you could point it out to me. The second being an unknown omake from the original manga. I cannot find it or much details about it, let alone its name, but one of the panels has Syaoran, in their summer uniform, dragging Sakura away from Yukito, although I am not sure whom exactly he is being jealous over. I tried searching for that panel so that I can give you a hint but I am unable to find it again. Although I am hoping that you have some clues regarding it despite my really scant description. Even if you can't remember it, it will be completely alright if you can just redirect me towards someplace where I can read omakes from the original manga. I have read "Honey Milk Tales" but that's about it. Frankly, I never realised how many extra material the OG series had. They are so cute and seriously could have been adapted. Again, apologies for this demanding ask. It's completely alright if you cannot. No pressure.
Hello again, Aubretia!!
I know very well what you're asking me, the fact is that I don't think I can really help you in both cases 😟
For the Sweet Valentine's stories Drama CD, unfortunately I'm not aware of any English translation...I even tried to briefly search for it, but nothing comes up, maybe it would need a deeper search. 😐 I've listened constantly to that Drama CD in my late teens while I was trying to learn Japanese, I didn't have that exact CD but I had another collection that included the "episodes" from that Drama CD!
As for the second one, oh I know what you're talking about! That's a comic from a booklet that came with the so-called "Kodansha CD Comic", a sort of Drama CD from August 1997! It was released almost one year before the beginning of the anime series in celebration of it, and it already featured the seiyuu we all love! If I recall correctly, the story revolves around the Song Card (it's a re-telling of its capture), Tomoyo and a recording Sakura wants to do for Yukito! The scene you're talking about comes from when Syaoran catches Sakura giving that tape to Yukito, he's of course jealous but it's not clear exactly towards whom 😉it seems it's about Yukito anyway. Unfortunately, I could only find a copy of this obscure booklet in vietnamese on a vietnamese blog, could it be of any use for you??
The two Honey Milk omake (one with Touya and one with Syaoran) and this little comic from the "CD comic" are the only existing omake for the OG CCS series! Clear Card had many more, in comparison!

TAG NINE PEOPLE YOU’D LIKE TO KNOW BETTER!
favourite colour(s): pink above all else, with gold a close second (third, orange)
favourite flavour(s):  peach, vanilla, azuki
favourite genre(s): comedy, to no one's surprise LOL campy, dark, satirical...i just love comedy. lately i've really been missing the comedy of the late 90s / early aughts? like austin powers or zoolander. anyway, what i believe in most is the importance of comedy in everything. i leave you with a quote from crispin glover c. 2010 that has really stuck with me:
But, I generally don’t try to play comedy for comedy, there’s that adage which I like to follow, play comedy like tragedy and tragedy like comedy. I think in this culture playing comedy like tragedy is pretty well understood, but what doesn’t happen so much is playing tragedy like comedy and a lot of my favorite performances have been actors or actresses that do that, but that’s a rare thing to do. Usually the performances that get Academy Awards are films where tragedy’s played like tragedy and there’s less of a dynamic of range for that. But usually in either case it’s about the character figuring out what the character wants and needs and going after that in the scene.
favourite music: god idk tbh i listen to too many things??? oingo boingo, show tunes, kpop, jpop...a lot of music from the 60s-80s??? wait but i'm so, so, so super attached to eurodance, hi-nrg, and anything that goes hard with synth.
favourite movie(s): my default answer to this is back to the future. ghostbusters is a very, very close second (maybe less than a percentage point of difference). i adore so many movies tho, so to be precise, you'd have to ask my favorite in a particular genre or decade/year or something...
favourite series: book or movie? either way, i'm not really sure. in terms of books, a series of unfortunate events was highly influential for me, so that might count for something. i'll always adore seinfeld and frasier.
last song: Stray Kids 『CASE 143 -Japanese ver.-』 please PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO i can't stop laughing
last series: i...don't know. with how many shows are getting canceled left and right, there's a strong possibility that any season of anything i've seen lately could be its last...but mob psycho 100, maybe? since the anime is actually properly over now.
last movie: prrrobably del toro's pinocchio
currently reading: bullet train by kōtarō isaka (I NEVER FINISHED IT! I'M A FRAUD)
currently watching: so very many things, but my whole fam is watching TLOU so that's fun.
currently working on: getting ready for work 💀

Hi Cossette!! I'm so glad that you also enjoy Laufey's Everything I Know About Love :D Listening to the LP is a wholesome and cozy experience (I was listening to the deluxe version earlier today) 💖 What are your favourite tracks from the album?
Ahh yes!! I discovered Holly Humberstone a little while ago and really liked The Walls Are Way Too Thin and the singles that she released last year (I particularly enjoy Friendly Fire and Scarlett)! I've just listened to her other EP this weekend via the compilation record and love it :D Fingers crossed that we'll get to hear her debut album later this year!!
I've also listened to a couple artists that you've mentioned (The Japanese House, Isabel Pless, and Cate Canning) and enjoy their music!! The Japenese House's recent singles (for her upcoming album) are quite different to her previous work but I found her new sonic influence refreshing 💖
I still need to listen to Cate Canning's older songs, but her latest releases are very promising and I'm looking forward to what she comes up with in the future! I first heard about Cate Canning from Maisie Peters' Cate's Brother and I definitely can tell that they artistically influence each other in their songwriting & storytelling!!
I feel you with the upcoming releases! I've been that I'm currently eagerly waiting for:
First Two Pages of Frankenstein by The National
My Soft Machine by Arlo Parks
I'm also looking forward to upcoming releases from Brynn Cartelli! I'm pleasantly surprised by Brynn Cartelli's discography - her music is quite narrative focused & memorable (I discovered her from a friend who's into Maisie Peters) so she's certainly worth checking out :D
P.S. omg yes!! Maisie Peters absolutely excels at storytelling and lyrics: in some sense this also reminds of Taylor Swift's songwriting - vivid narratives and memorable lyrics 💖 I hope that we'll get a Maisie Peters guest appearance for the UK dates for The Eras Tour!
did you see laufey's been working on her second album? i'm SO excited! i was hoping to snag her valentine RSD on record store day, but my store sold out before they even got remotely close to me! i feel like laufey's music was just made for vinyl. i really love above the chinese restaurant, dear soulmate, and of course, her rendition of i've never been in love before! according to my airbuds widget, i listened to scarlett eight times last week (which feels low for me)! it's definitely one of my favorites of hers — i also really love sleep tight, the walls are way too thin, and deep end. i've been listening to rock city lately too, which was part of the EarthPercent x Earth Day ’23 Compilation Album, and i've been really liking it too! i forgot that the national's new album is out so soon! time is not real! i'm really excited for the alcott, obviously, as well as this isn't helping. i need to listen to more of their stuff — maybe i'll listen to it while i work tomorrow (i'm in too many meetings today to properly listen to a new album)! speaking of things to listen to, i listened to some of brynn cartelli's stuff this morning, and enjoyed convertible in the rain & secondhand smoke! i think it's so lovely how you can tell which artists were influenced by others, and i think maisie & cate just have such a sweet friendship. i can't wait to see what cate puts out next! and yes — that would be so lovely!!! part of me was hoping that sabrina carpenter would open for taylor, but it seems less likely now given that she's doing her own europe tour this summer, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed for holly or maisie — or maybe bea will come back? i think that'd be fun too! i hope you've been having a good week so far!! so sorry for the delayed reply 🤍

Hellloooo
Hey! I haven't made an original post in awhile! I am still learning Korean, just took a little break because of burn out. I recently checked how many songs I had translated this year because of my yearly goals and I realized I have actually done 15 songs!! :0 (16/17 if I can get someone to proofread these ones im workin on) Maybe I'll start posting those ones I haven't posted yet TT
But I'm feeling a lot better about studying lately. I finally have a study routine I think works well for my class, (It has been so so hard), and I'm focusing on HSK5 again. I definitely wont be able to do that till next year, but I'm in a much more focused headspace now to work on that. I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Balancing crippling anxiety and studying was just not optimal. I know myself and what I struggle with, so it's just learning how to work around my issues. And its been going well lately!
I've had so much interest in Spanish and Cantonese lately. I would really love to study those too but I gotta save them for weekends when I don't have any other things I have to do. And Norwegian... ahhhh its so lovely! And recently I watched a really good Japanese movie, it was surprising how much i still remember. But also, just listening to it, I feel like if I tried to learn it again it would be so much more doable, because if the grammatical similarities to Korean which I now have a decent grasp on. I don't have the time to start studying it again but it was really nice to have that realization. Just feeling really inspired again lately, I hope I can hold on to that feeling.
I hope all of you have been doing well! And I hope your language studying has been well:)

Kaori's Intro
Bee-autiful surroundings, a sun dried taxi, a new start, an old home
------------------------------------------------------
The seat of the taxi was stale. Maybe it was once comfortable to sit on, before it had been torn, dulled by the sun, and seen as many travelers as it may have seen now. The driver was an old man, wore these big funny tinted glasses and had a big bushy moustache that curled up around the lenses. He looked dulled as well, rough and dried by the sun. He wore a big smile as he cruised along, listening to his radio.
I don't blame him for smiling, either. It was an amazing day as he drove me and my baggage through the Japanese countryside. It was one of the few roads for cars around, and we drove with the windows down. A cool breeze caressed my face and moved around the soft muted sound of the old man's radio propped up on the dashboard.
I took a long drink of boba tea as I watched field upon field stretch out around the road, a massive oak forest grew up around them, tucking them away. A wonderful sight for someone who'd been slowly dyeing in a crowded city for the past fifteen years.
But that breeze, I thought about how I'd never get tired of that summer breeze, and I was right.
"Why'd a nice big-city lady like you pack up and lug yourself all the way out here?" The old man spouted out, turning down the music, his moustache wiggling with every word.
We hit a bump and I desperatley tried to save my drink from an untimely demise. Repositioning myself, I finally replied, "I've lived under highrises for too long. Can't take it anymore."
The man shot me a cheerful smile through the rearview mirror, "A bit of change in scenery?"
"Yeah! guess you could say that."
I was a bit startled when he turned around, his eyes off the road, and stuck out his hand, "My name is Gregory."
"Kaori," I shook his hand, worrying about any more bumps as he slowly turned across the road.
"I see the appeal in living out here. I don't drive out this far very often, but it's always a treat to do so." He stated, eventually focusing back on the road and repositioning the car, "Lovely place."
"Oh? Do you live in town?"
"Mhm. Lived there all my life, been driving taxis for nearly half of it."
"I bet you meet a lot of people."
"mmmm, guess so. The usuals from town, the occasional business folk riding through, every so often a young new face like yourself, looking for something they yet to find."
I found this last bit a little strange, strange but true. I shrugged it off and layed my chin onto my arm, taking in the views once again, "Maybe I'll see you in town when I stop by."
With a big moustachiod grin, he turned the radio volume back up as we both enjoyed the rest of the ride.
------------------------------------------------------
Gregory dropped me off at a fork in the road, even slouching out of the car to help me unpack my bags and untie my bicycle from the roof. With a wave goodbye, and a pretty nice tip in hand, he drove off along with his music.
The fork in the road dropped down in one direction and was marked with a sign. A broken, fallen over, unreadable sign. To the right lay an oak and cedar woods, to the other side lay fields of open grass eventually tapering into rice paddies and eventually wheat that was positioned higher up. With a long sigh I watched as the wind crafted ripples in the still growing green grass. The wheat wouldn't be harvested for awhile, probably in the fall or late summer, so it looked just like long fuzzy grass.
I began to head down the path, still watching the winds' patterns in the fields.
It was a good 15 minute walk before I reached a bent awning revealing a stone path through the trees. I could barely tell where the path lay, the stones that paved it were overgrown with shrubs, roots, and moss, overgrown and full of life. Tree frogs could be heard deep into the trees, water streams broke through the path with minnows swimming along the watery roadways. Birds sang songs in the treetops of cedar and oak, and greenery grew everywhere, covering every inch of the wooded floor.
Appearing into a large clearing, there lay a house. An old, decrepit, long forgotten house.
Or as I'd grow to call it.

Hii love. KSJDJSDJSJ !!! 😭😭😭 Thank you for those cute pics of Tae and Kook, aah my heart melted, ㅠㅠ I love you.
honestly? I'd be that roommate. I set 20 alarms for myself and I literally only wake up after the 15th one. Fear me 😝 you're right!! I find that we do great stuff when we don't have the phone to distract us, and I'm really so glad you think so too. Hey, fantasizing is cool! Kinda like brainstorming, yk? It'd be so cool if you wrote down the ideas you came up with :> the lyrics, oh god, please don't judge me but that song is amazing.
🥺🥺I love you, and I'm so glad you're resting and getting enough sleep. You deserve it, especially after all the exam pressure you've been under. Please take care 🥺🥺
that one year when everyone played "happy" was literally a golden era. Sometimes, I listen to classical music when I wake up :D
oh that's good!! History book? Like a yearbook? That's so cool tho >.< Good luck, Cookie! Leave your mark ;D
the art is beautiful indeed. The book really depicts them better than history does.
Tumblr media
They were obviously in love but historians were like "wow, homies!! Bros!! Friends!!" grr.
ahhh I totally get it!! I can't resist taking a thousand screenshots either. I hope the WiFi improves :D
:( Yeah I've been super bummed because of that, but I asked my dad earlier and he said it's okay to watch it as long as I get up early and do it when my younger brothers aren't awake. (I guess my mom's not okay with the LGBT+ elements. most Asian parents here are very boomer-ish) but I'm gonna wake up early tomorrow and watch it by myself :')
you really are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I love you, and I hope you're staying safe. *Sends a ton of virtual hugs* FEEL HUGGED, BAE 💖💖✨
—Ari
Hi Shortcake!! So sorry for taking so long ;д; I was very tired lately. I hope you got to have at least a little bit of a rest😔 dont forget. Also, I love you too<33
No worries, I'd wake you up after the 3rd alarm😋 I'm no traitor. Yeah, exactly, and I wish I didnt have my phone in my free time :// maybe then I'd study Japanese properly. For now I only know like 15 kanjis -,- which might seem like a lot for a beginner but 15 out of 1500 isnt much, including the fact that I had the book for like 5 months? 私, 君, 僕, 猫, 水, 人, 犬, 家, 日, 白, 黒, 色, 女, 天気, 月 these are all I know😔
True, true, you're right. I guess I should have a notebook for my ideas, because playing them out in my head isn't gonna be helpful xD dont worry, I'm not here to judge. I'm the one listening to Cult of Dionysus over here
I guess you cant really call it a yearbook? Because that's just my grade writing down all the events that happened in our five years, because we were bored. We're gonna get it printed and give out to each student and their class teachers and mentors:)
Yeahh, historians reaaaally didn't like these relationships 😔💔 at least we know the truth, that's all that matters😝
Yeah, and honestly I cleaned my gallery and it's been so much better somehow. I really had to be absolutely dead inside to heartlessly delete EVERY screenshot without even looking if its important or not. Cuz, like, what's a few thousand pictures gonna do ? I really hope so as well, cuz honestly I can't stand just sitting here trying to save up my data:/
I'm glad you're allowed to watch it now !!! Your dad rules. Also yeah, so many older people are like that. It's scary. I've been afraid to ask my mom what she thinks about that. I'll ask when I know I'm safe 😗
Oh god, you too!! I love you, I missed talking to you :(( i hope you're doing great! AND YEAH I FEEL YOUR HUGS ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Aloe anon has been awake still and doesn't plan to sleep anytime soon, for aloe is a rebel
I saw you like music suggests n I have so many omg, if you don't mind Japanese music, Iri is a really good rnb artist. I love her songs Ieni, the most but seriously I love most stuff she's put out
I also really like Call by Chanmina, I don't really like the rest of her music but that song is such a vibe. Most of my suggestions are probably Japanese since I listen to a lot more than kpop, mamamoo is one out of like five Korean artists I play (and they're the only group)
Oh reol!! Reol is really good if you're into like,...electric type stuff, every song is a banger honestly. Favorites tho would have to be Bon-No-Yu-Gi, and Hameln! I'll only suggest those two because I'm obsessed eith her entire discography and I can't choose any others lol
An absolute classic is Crying by Emi Hinouchi, top notch rnb song with major 2000s/ig late 90s vibes, that twinkly rnb stuff.
There's a song called Sugar by Hitchhiker and Sokodomo, this one's actually Kpop - it's really weird though, like really fucking weird, I love it so much tho I can't get it out of my head
I'm sure this is too long but I love acting as tune dealer lol and yes greasy byul is amazing, also candy corn orange hair byul, she really can't do wrong with any hair color they all look incredible on her
She could wear a clown wig and I'd still die of general hornyness
-I guess aloe anon can be 🌿, man I just saw the penguin emoji that thing is so damn cute, I've never really noticed it before. Love me some penguin
I commend your ability to function on no sleep, I wish I was like that but alas I'm just an old man who needs their sleep 😔
thanks for the recs!! I'm half japanese but haven't really gotten into a ton of japanese music compared to kpop so I'm always down to listen to more
interesting to hear that mamamoo's the only kpop group you listen to, I feel like that's a rarity (to not be into kpop more broadly?) v glad to have you here tho :D
and yeah byul's never really had a bad hair color. personally my soft spot is purple era blue hair and hip era purple hair + eyebrow slit, what a wombo combo 🥵 granted I currently have blue hair (and at one point purple) so maybe that's why

Hello loves!! I hope you are all well~~ I was wondering what everyone is currently obsessed with?? I've been getting into sfx makeup a lot lately, it's so interesting!! ~🏹
Skitz: Ayoooo! I'll be honest....it's more WHO than WHAT. But I'm terrified to say at this point because I will definitely get teased....consistently....for the next month or so..
Ari: Hi there! Something I am currently obsessed with? TikTok! The amount of dance challenges I’ve been trying.... or maybe just watching.... AND Ateez’s newest album! Rin and I spend a lot of time listening and dancing to it! SFX MAKEUP??? WAIT that’s so cool! What got you interested?
Yueliang: these days I'm really into baking! Today I made pancakes and I'm planning to make cookies and maybe even a cake! And... I'm also in a deep rabbit hole, listening to every nct album on repeat 🥺
Mina: I’m currently really interested in learning more about Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) as I think it has always been very badly and wrongly portrayed in and by the media. But I’m also learning more about mental health in general - many people are badly affected by the whole Corona situation right now, and it’s important to take care of your body and mind, which many people sadly seem to forget! And music wise, I have the covers of The Boyz for their A to BoyZ videos on repeat, as well as Taemin‘s new song ☺️ and I’m also finally (binge) watching Cinderella and the Four Knights!
Luna: Lately I have been really interested in makeup (not SFX but that's also super cool ! I'm glad you found something that really interests you dear ♡) and playing around with it 😂 I also have been trying to recreate some makeup looks created by Leesu Blooming, I adore her Beauty Projects series! I've also been watching walkthroughs for Japanese indie games that are pretty spooky which is not a good idea at night but too late 😂
AJ: Hi dear!! I’m so happy you’ve found another interest, I love when that happens!😁  Lately I am obsessed with real crime podcasts, I can’t stop listening to them while working! I have also been reading a lot of horror stories and creepypastas. (which was something that was ‘in’ when i was in High School, I am always late to things😂 )
Rin: Ooooo SFX makeup is super cool, it really is very interesting! my current obsession is, yes kes is right, ateez new album! so good i CANT stop putting it on replay :") but aside from that I've been obsessed with pilates (i mean I've been doing it for a while but recently I keep wanting to go hehet)
