I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING REGARDING ALASTOR AND VAGGIE'S DEAL

everyone is gawking over alastor and charlie's deal, but what about alastor and vaggie's deal? in hindsight, its not much- he just doesn't want to fuck with television, right?

that is, until you look at vox. the TELEVISION DEMON. by making that deal, alastor officially is no longer binded to this, and is fully allowed to leave the rest of the hotel in the dust if he finds himself in a complex situation. after all, he did make a deal with the hotel manager about not wanting to mess with TVs or frivilous modern technology, right?

just an interesting thing i bet will be exploited and explored in the next season, since the VEES are the next big bads

ok this is gonna be short and mildly insane. i would like everyone to understand that this is pretty much Entirely unfounded & i'm just reading too much into a teeny little thing. however i've convinced myself that this theory is viable against all better judgement

the milk carton behind Barnaby's house.

it was added with the last large update, and it Immediately made me lose my mind. it's such a... strange thing to add to the map, which already has Teeny Secrets - along with other choice objects that make me narrow my eyes. but this isn't about them.

The very first thing I thought of when I saw the milk carton was the phrase "no use crying over spilled milk". which, of course, essentially means that there's no point in crying over things you can't change / things already done. There are a couple ways i'm interpreting it with this context

Something is going to happen that Barnaby feels personally responsible for. or is responsible for - either indirectly, or maybe he'll do something terrible. i think it's entirely possible that he might do that possible something for Wally. and again, take this with salt, but Clown has implied through trivia and fun hypotheticals that Barnaby would go to lengths for Wally. and yes, i know. taking evidence from "what would the neighbors do in Among Us" is absurd. IN MY DEFENSE! while the trivia isn't really to be taken seriously, there's always a thought process behind character roles and dynamics and behavior, and that is something that can be (carefully) looked into and applied. like in Among Us, apparently Barnaby would, and i quote, "Barnaby does all the Dirty work if Wally is an Impostor- Anything to help his little Buddy out...". anything to help his little buddy out, huh? like, it's been stated that Barnaby knows things about Wally that no one else does. and it's been mildly implied that he's fairly protective of Wally. and we all know that Wally is getting into some deep shit, and whether he means to or not he's likely gonna fuck everything up for everyone. it's not that big of a leap to speculate that Barnaby might do something drastic/horrible/regret-worthy in Wally's name / for his sake.

2. something terrible is going to happen to Barnaby / directly related to Barnaby, and he's going to be absolutely powerless to do anything about it. though i think that's kind of a given... yeah this section is pretty self explanatory

3. Barnaby is going to go missing. because what used to be on milk cartons? Missing Posters! yes yes i know this one is even more of a reach, since milk cartons didnt have missing posters on them till the 80s, but yk. it's a Thought.

my second thought was "oh ok so when the carton spills, it's curtains for Barnaby." this part of the theory is just me being paranoid that Barnaby is going to wind up kicking the bucket - though i suppose if that were the case, there would be a bucket, not milk. well, if a bucket ever appears, i'm going to start prematurely mourning. Still!

the point is - at some point, that milk is probably gonna spill. it may be just a detail as things get better Worse, or it could be indicative of something terrible happening to / because of Barnaby. the milk spills, Panic Time.

Im frothing at the mouth I NEED to know more abt Vox's relationship with Valentino and Angel. Like literally what is the dynamic there. He clearly isn't under Val's heel, in fact I'm inclined to believe Val is the weakest of the Vees just in general, but Vox doesn't really seem to. Like him. Either. ok here are my final thoughts on the kipperlilly/riz thing before the next ep comes out:

i rewatched most of the first season and tbh i have no fucking clue what riz could have done to make kipperlilly hate him. the only things that’s seems slightly plausible are a) she was friends with someone the bad kids killed (maybe daybreak cause riz specifically killed him) b) she hates him cause his moms a cop and something happened with her regarding cops

maybe there’s something i missed but those really are the only legit things i could see someone being pissed about. that being said i think the most likely option for why she has a grudge against him specifically is much more childish. like the type of thing where u just kinda hate/are jealous of someone and then every tiny potentially bad thing they do just makes you hate them more and more

Another GO thought/semi-S3 prediciton maybe

The thing is: all these events are not in a vaccuum. We have seen throughout S1 and S2 that Aziraphale and Crowley interact with the world, with the humans around them. Became friends with them. Built connections.

Aziraphale didn't just leave Crowley. He left Earth. He left People.

People who have seen Aziraphale and Crowley interact, who suspected their relationship from the start.

People who don't know why Aziraphale disappeared, why Crowley was devastated and left behind.

People who saw the aftermath and the effect on Crowley.

People who would hear Crowley's side of everything.

And so, when Aziraphale returns to thwart the second coming, and Crowley agrees to help, Crowley doesnt act different. Maybe a bit quieter. Maybe a bit more distant. But he's been through this song and dance for thousands of years. He knows Aziraphale. He can heal in time.

What changes are the humans.

You see, as said in the Good Omens book, "they found more in common with their enemy than their remote allies". Aziraphale became a "remote ally". He left the ground he walked with humans for thousands of years.

And the consequence?

Nina and Maggie put Crowley between them, talking just to him and ignoring Aziraphale as he tries to catch up with them.

Adam and The Them play pranks on Aziraphale behind Crowley's back but act as angels when Crowley looks at them.

Anathema and Newt talk loudly over Aziraphale about stories and jokes they shared over the time of the separation.

The people of Soho don't greet him.

The Ritz waiters dont make small talk with him.

Book collectors ignore him.

Even sweet Muriel's smile dims when she sees him.

As the S3 teaser said, they're not talking.

They're not talking because the humans chose a side.

And without Aziraphale to explain his, they chose Crowley's.

It's not about Aziraphale gaining Crowley's forgiveness. Crowley has too big of a heart. He will always forgive Aziraphale.

Aziraphale has to gain humanity's forgiveness.

And as Jesus once looked up to the sky on the cross and asked "Father, why have you abandoned me", only to receive no response;

Humans will now look to Aziraphale and ask "Why have you abandoned us?" This time, Aziraphale must respond.

For the Second Coming was never about the rebirth of Christ.

The Second Coming was here all along. It was us. It was humanity.

a learning AI does mimic human behavior after all, and a learning AI at this level of intelligence coupled with DIRECT access to the human brain and therefore human behavior could?? "become more human"??? it really depends on how you think about AIs. i have no idea how to explain it but like,, maybe the brain could affect the squips code the way the squips code could affect the brain. DNA is code after all. maybe by having access to the emotions bits of the brain that DNA code gets mangled up with the squip code. in this world we cant replicate human intelligence exactly, but maybe the squip is advanced enough for that and can mimic human behavior to the point of actually feeling emotions somehow. to my knowledge (and google) AIs mimic human behavior by using past human examples, and since squips have the most access to their users past actions and memories and feelings maybe they slowly become more and more like their host, although it kinda looks like thats not the case so far, so maybe its over time. maybe theyre all gonna merge with their users eventually. i have no fucking clue im just throwing shit at the wall
