Scenes like this one in 5x16, though painful, are important for their relationship because they show that they're both still willing to work through their problems and on their relationship. Chloe literally takes a step towards him here, even though it is hard and even though she is mad. She's still there and she always will be.

I mean, look at her, this is just so heart-breakingly difficult for her. You can see it in her face that she's struggling, but she's still there, trying to get things back on track, trying to be supportive, trying to work it out somehow. Her voice breaks when she tells him to feel worthy, feel vulnerable because she knows he can't. But he has to hear it.

And Lucifer also struggles because he can't give her what she wants and needs, can't make Dan's death go away, can't tell her he's in heaven, can't tell her how he feels. And it's hurting him, but he still tries and endures her wrath, holds on because he needs to and wants to.

This has become such a good example of how relationships are not always easy and you have to sometimes work for them, make a first move even though you might be mad or hurt. But in the end it's totally worth it. For the other person. For them.

Tumblr Tagging

Shipnames

As tumblr doesn't have default shipname suggestions like on ao3 to group all works to one pairing together, it can be annoying having to search different versions of name/name, name x name, etc., variants of a ship to find all content for it, especially with poly ships with several characters.

To circumvent that, there are shipnames that can be used by everyone to group the content together in a single tag - we encourage everyone to tag your content with these shipnames, so it will really work and of course so your works will be seen! You can of course still tag other shipnames in addition to these, but this way all posts will be in one search tag.

It was teased in the trailer, but Chloe telling God off and standing up for Lucifer was even better than I thought it would be.

No hesitation, no fear. Her first thought when meeting the literal creator of the universe is to tell this man, who has hurt the love of her life so much, what a crappy father he has been. How he has hurt Lucifer and made him doubt himself constantly.

When she got that off her chest, only then does she think about herself and her being a gift. But Lucifer comes first. Because she knows how much he has suffered and is still suffering. And she knows he didn't and doesn't deserve that.
