I’m all caught up with the show, but this scene left me the biggest impression (because I love romance and of course, these two!)

Honey, PLEASE forget about your guilt, you’ve punished yourself enough!

Okay, I don’t know what I’d do in her place, but I know what I want her to do. And that’s what matters here lol Since she’s already there, already back into the badminton world and signed into this team (even though everyone but Taejun treat her like trash), and already commited to do what it takes to get back in shape and get her dream back, then she should say fuck it! It’s been THREE years. She ran away from everything, even her own family. She gave herself this stupid sentence because of guilt. And somehow she stills thinks she needs to pay more and endure humilliations from her teamates and not be happy and never, not even for a second, forget what led her to this point. But what my girl really needs is therapy.

Of course that isn’t going to happen (why dramas, why??) but I wish she’d realize everyone makes their own choices and one is not in control of bad things happening. Yes, it was stupid to get out in the night, get wasted and then do some late night snowboarding. So stupid! And yes, shit happened! And yes, she begged her friend to go with her, but she needs to forgive herself and let go. Because she can’t live like that. And this scene it’s a clear example of what she’s pushing away: A perfectly healthy connection (that she so badly needs bc otherwise she’s alone in that place).

Here is a cute, funny, gentle and pretty great guy overall (the most non-toxic ML I’ve seen in ages and the reason I don’t find him boring is because he has a way of winning you over) who likes her, treats her like a friend, is naturally drawn to her and wants her to depend on him (and he’s quite reliable) and she says No, way my dude, go back don’t cross the line?? WTF? WHY?

He held up pretty well till he turned around and we saw how much her words hurt him ugh and then her sad smile, as if she’s trying to convince herself this is okay, while ignoring her feelings *cries*

I also think she pushes him away because she’s afraid of getting close with people, the way she was with her friend, and then possibly be responsible of something bad happening to him. And who knows, maybe if something bad were to happen, even if she wasn’t the one to “cause” it, she’d still find a way to blame herself. Seriously, she needs therapy. Come on, drama! I love romance but not even the power of love can replace some good mental health assistance.

Which is my favorite Kdrama network?

When I'm bored I like to list and categorize things. Today I've decided to discover, statistically, which Korean drama network is my favorite based on shows I've watched.

Including both shows I've completed and shows I've dropped bc in this case, the shows I don't like are relevant.

Using my ratings from MyDramaList :) which means however I felt the first time I finished watching a show, basically. Not including networks where I've only watched one show (e.g., Disney+, Wavve, Channel A).

The takeaways:

I should probably watch more KBS. On my to-watch list, that translates to Youth of May, the Bridal Mask, Hwarang, the Bloody Heart, and Orange Marmalade. So mostly historical dramas, which is a pity bc apparently I also like their thrillers.

Really, though, my to-watch list at this point has a ton of SBS and MBC on it for some reason, at least with shows that have already come out. According to my stats so far, my odds are pretty mixed on liking them or not.

Somehow, one feels, I will actually end up watching more TVN instead... but that has yet to materialize. (except the one kdrama I'm currently watching is a TVN drama. so.)

Did I really learn anything? No. and on that note, good night.

i know we're all losing it over junho being the perfect guy etc but youngwoo's such a 10 too, she's pretty, she's cute, she's smart, she's got an amazing memory, she's honest, she's not afraid to be actively nice and caring to her crush and to confess her feelings, she's very respectful of people, she's great with kids, she's a good friend, she's into whales and dolphins and sea creatures and will make you love them as well, she's passionate about her job, she's not afraid to try new things even if they're out of her comfort zone, she makes lists with dates ideas, she walks her date back home, she apologises when she's hurt someone...what a catch!

Lim YoonA’s secret double life is about to begin.

In upcoming MBC’s new Fri-Sat drama ‘Big Mouth’ (creators Jang Young Chul, Jung Kyung Soon, script by Kim Haram, directed by Oh Chung Hwan, produced by A-Story, Studio Dragon and Aman Project), YoonA will play the role of Go Miho, who jumps into the fray to save her husband who has gotten himself in a trap, displaying a next-level girl crush image. But before the war begins, in order to be immersed in Go Miho (played by Lim YoonA)’s struggles, let’s take a look at her eventful life experiences.

STEP 1: “I will make my own man” Go Miho’s husband lawyer development project is a success!

Go Miho has been the ‘darling of all hearts’ due to her natural beauty and confident charms and has been courted by countless men since young. Go Miho believed that qualifications can be created, but personality can’t be changed, she turned down all the men who liked her during university days and chose Park Changho (played by Lee Jong Suk) purely because of his good heart. With the belief that ‘I will make my own man’, she quickly jump into the work society as a nurse as soon as she graduates, hoping to make her seemly insignificant husband into an honorable lawyer. Despite her tough hospital life and with her strong support, Park Changho finally graduated from law school and became an honorable lawyer. Go Miho who created this ‘husband’s success story’ strongly believed that she made the right choice.  

STEP 2: From the ‘darling of all hearts’ to an ordinary nurse, the conflict between the newlyweds over the wall of reality

However, the reality of life did not go the way she imagined it to be. Contrary to her expectations of happy days after the marriage, her husband has lost consecutively in each lawsuit he took, resulting in him having only a 10% winning rate. The hardships of her life has reached the peak, Go Miho who was once the ‘darling of all hearts’ turns into a tough nurse with great vitality.

In the midst of this, her husband Park Changho received a request from a big shot. The highly excited husband shouted, ‘I will make you rich!’, Go Miho decided to trust her husband one more time. However, overshadowing her faith, the big shot requester puts an absurd false charge on her husband Park Changho, calling him the ‘Big Mouse’, who is known as the king of the underworld. Covered by layer by layer, what strikes Go Miho’s family is not windfall, but a thunderbolt.

STEP 3: Save the family who has been falsely accused! Go Miho, the busiest nurse in the world, her double life begins!

Until this day, even though the Park Changho that Go Miho knows isn’t exactly a righteous person, but he is also not someone who will con other people. Go Miho, who was confident that she knew Park Changho better than anyone else in the world, demonstrates the temperament of a risk taker in a bid to remove the absurd shackles that tie her husband up.

In the daytime, Go Miho who lives as a kind nurse that put the patients’ lives as top priority, at night, she jumps into the battlefield to find out who is the mastermind behind the false accusations against her husband. It is drawing curiosity if Go Miho who lives every day busier than anyone else, will be able to save her husband Park Changho safely.

At the same time, expectations are soaring for Lim YoonA, who will portray Go Miho’s desperate struggles. Through the released photos, Lim YoonA can be seen fully integrated with the character and we look forward to her acting that will captivate the viewers with her extraordinary force.

The production team of ‘Big Mouth said, “Go Miho is a strong character who makes her own path. We will prove in many ways that her decision to choose Park Changho was never wrong.” He continued, “Please look forward to the performance of actress Lim YoonA, who will show the charisma of the character Go Miho.”

Meanwhile, MBC’s new Fri-Sat drama ‘Big Mouth’ is a story about how a lawyer with 10% winning rate accidentally took over a murder case and became a rare genius con artist ‘Big Mouse’ overnight. In order to survive and protect their family, they will also reveal the ugly side of the privileged class. ‘Big Mouth’ will premiere on July 29, 9.50pm KST, following the conclusion of ‘Doctor Lawyer’

'Big Mouth' Lee Jong Suk solidified his presence with his overwhelming acting skills.

The MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Big Mouth' (creators Jang Young-cheol and Jung Kyung-soon, scripted by Kim Ha-ram, directed by Oh Chung-hwan, produced by A-Story, Studio Dragon, and A-Man Project), which received attention as Lee Jong-suk's comeback, ended on the 17th. In order to express the spectacular narrative of the main character, Park Chang-ho, Lee Jong Suk, who performed a feast of intense acting, was praised.

'Big Mouth' has captivated viewers with a surprising development, repeating reversals in the setting of a huge hard-boiled noir worldview. Lee Jong Suk, who supported the weight of such a 'Big Mouth', threw out his whole body and poured out many famous scenes every day, leading to the popularity of the work. Park Chang-ho, not Lee Jong Suk, was completely assimilated with the character to an unimaginable extent and led the play, increasing immersion and persuasiveness.
