mc enemiez! ( ✶ ) chapter 31 : sad and disappointing // word count : 1.3k

⸝⸝ SYNOPSIS ‎𐪆 despite jungwon being a #humble leader, he was kinda salty about the fact that his almighty title of the “youngest leader in k-pop” has been taken by blackpink’s brand new juniors. the world goes against jungwon’s wishes in staying as far away from her as possible when they both end up being the new mcs for ‘the show’. ₊˚✸ ༘

jay groaned and dragged his feet out of his room after listening to the repeated ring of their doorbell.

he opened the door, revealing a smiley you, before rolling his eyes and closing the door shut.

“who was it?” heeseung asked, pointing right at the door.

“it was no one.” jay responded right before the doorbell rings once more, then another, and then another.

“i don’t think it’s no one.”

heeseung walked towards the door before fighting jay to stop protecting the doorknob while the doorbell continued to ring.

“the ringing won’t stop!” sunghoon groaned while covering his ears.

“he’s not moving away from the doorknob.” heeseung continued trying to push jay away from the door.

jay opened the door just a little bit, startling you with his intense glare.

“stop. ringing. the. doorbell.”

“i’m sorry, i just heard a lot of noise on the other side i got worried.”

“we’ll get back to you.” jay said before slamming the door once more.

“was that y/n i heard?” heeseung let go of jay before pointing at the door.

“i swear i heard her too…” sunghoon chimed in, walking closer to the door.

jay let out an exasperated sigh, “please, this is the only time i get to baby wonie once she steps inside i won’t have that chance for who knows how long…”

heeseung rolled his eyes before pushing jay away and opening the door to let you in.

“hi! sorry about that, jay just woke up.”

“oh it’s all good! isn’t it late-“

“just get in!” you heard jay yelling from inside the dorm.

as you enter inside, you save at sunghoon and jay who were now just chilling in the living room.

“i’m guessing you’re looking for jungwon?” heeseung asked, earning a very loud and somewhat angry groan from jay.

“… ignore him. won is this way, he’s probably asleep or something.” he continued while leading you towards what you assumed was jay and jake’s room.

heeseung opened the bedroom door to see jungwon lying on a mattress in the middle of two beds while scrolling through his phone.

you could’ve sworn you saw him scrolling through arcane’s weverse for a quick second before he changed the app after realizing jay or another member had entered.

as you entered the room even further, you noticed how heeseung left the door slightly open, probably because the rest of the members were planning to eavesdrop.

jungwon’s back faced you as you knelt down to poke him on the cheek a couple of times.

“jay hyung, i’m fine. stop bothering me.” jungwon complained before shooing your hand away.

you continued poking his cheek until he finally held onto your hand to make you stop.

jungwon’s eyes widened before he turned to look at you.

“oh. you’re not jay hyung… that finger is not double jointed and bends in weird ways…”

“that’s very true. unfortunately i don’t have cool superpowers like that.” you sat down in the empty space between one of the unmade beds and jungwon’s mattress.

“someone pinch me.”

you pinched him on the arm which made him yelp in pain. yes, he was definitely not dreaming now.

“i’m really here, wonie.”

“how'd you know where my dorm was?”

“your snapmap is on.”

“ah…”

there was a somewhat awkward silence for a few seconds afterwards before jungwon sat up to sit next to you.

he watched as you fidgeted with your fingers, practically holding himself back from holding your hands which was something he could only dream of.

“so… why’d you come here?”

“sunghoon and i talked yesterday.”

“yeah? what did you talk about?”

“you, basically.”

jungwon nodded while looking away, creating a silent atmosphere once more.

you sighed before grabbing jungwon’s hands. you hated how awkward the two of you were when everything could’ve been perfect a week ago.

“this entire week sucked for me too, you know? i missed you a lot and i even regretted everything after. i wished that you and sunghoon didn’t have a fight so that the two of us could be happy together. you don’t even know how miserable i was when we-“

your words got cut right when jungwon’s lips crashed on yours. though it was only for a split second, it felt like it lasted for a minute or even hours.

jungwon just kissed you.

it took you a second to realize it but once you did, your eyes widened as you whispered “oh my god.” to yourself.

“sorry i didn’t mean to… i should’ve asked… or something.” he said awkwardly while trying to pull his hands away from your grip.

“no! it’s fine, i- uh… i liked it! a lot… i think. yeah! i was just shocked, that’s all.” you responded while frantically trying to pull jungwon’s hands back.

“i just like you a lot. i hope you’ve noticed.”

“i have and i like you a lot too.”

“so…”

the both of you looked around the room in silence, making sure not to make any accidental eye contact before jungwon broke it.

“i guess that’s settled then.”

“yeah, i guess it is.”

“i’ll uh… see you at work?”

“yeah, you will.”

“wanna go on a date afterwards?”

“sure.”

“alright.”

you two immediately stood up after that as he led you out of the room in a half awkward half comfortable silence since you two still needed to process whatever happened just a few minutes ago.

jungwon stopped in his tracks right when he went outside of the room to see the rest of his members huddled up around the door with disappointed looks on each of their faces.

“jungwon, why'd you sto- oh.”

sunghoon walked in front of the two of you with a frustrated look on his face.

“wait so you’re telling me that i did all that and got busted twice to get that. it made me so sad i think i’m about to cry.” he said in annoyance.

“hurry, someone get him a kleenex!” jungwon said sarcastically before pulling you towards the door.

sunoo let out a snort before muttering to himself, “even riki probably did better than him.”

you sent him a glance his way as you watched him hide behind a somewhat sad looking jay.

“y/n’s just gonna go-“ jungwon began before heeseung cut him off.

“wait! y/n’s not even going to stay and spend some time with her new boyfriend?”

“ahem- and his members. ahem-“ jay coughed in a not so subtle way.

“i don’t want her to hang out with any of you! let me keep her all to myself for today!” jungwon whines while wrapping his arms around you.

of course, enhypen didn’t give jungwon what he wanted. he probably didn’t get warned about the fact that they were a packaged deal.

if you get their leader, you get all of them too.

for the entire day, jungwon had to watch you playing around and having fun with his members while he sulked in the corner.

maybe it was a good thing you were all getting along but it still sucked that they got all your attention.

i mean, sunoo finally admitted that after how you were asked out, he stopped getting scared of you. he sort of felt bad for you so now he decided to face his fears so you could go home without that major disappointment in your mind.

jay, on the other hand, changed the way he acted around you. jungwon asking you out was the saddest thing he’s ever heard but he feels confident that jungwon doesn’t love you as much as him.

of course anyone with two eyes would know that jungwon probably loved you more than anyone in this world just by the way he looks at you.

jay just needed to look past all of the stolen kisses jungwon gave to you or the way jungwon immediately clinged onto you whenever you both had time to stay next to each other.

in the end, the way jungwon asked you out might’ve been a little sad and disappointing to the rest of the members but it was absolutely perfect for you.

you had jungwon and jungwon had you and that’s all that matters now.

mc enemiez! ( ✶ ) chapter 18 : first episode // word count : 2.3k

today was the day everyone has been waiting for; the first episode. you stood in front of the salon’s mirror, immediately feeling the same nerves you felt when you had just debuted. everything had to be as perfect as you could make it so hopefully jungwon wouldn’t mess up.

you were so caught up in your own little bubble that you barely noticed arms sliding around your waist. you frowned after looking up to see a smiling jihye right behind you as she rested her chin on your shoulder.

“first day nerves?” she asks as you respond with a quick nod.

“don’t worry, you’re going to do great… it’s yoonah you have to worry about.” you both look at a sulking yoonah who was being “bodyguarded” by your manager.

“yoon can handle herself. what i’m worried about is what exactly i’d do to jungwon.”

“hm.. enhypen sunbaenim are going to be there, right? why not make jungwon jealous?”

“jungwon? jealous? of his own members? no. that’s not a good idea, unnie. i’ve never seen jungwon jealous before. i need something else…”

“use yeonies le—“ yoonah began but her mouth was quickly covered by your manager.

“i think you have nothing to worry about, y/n. just stay pretty and jungwon will regret everything.” meiju reassured you while tucking a section of your hair behind your ear.

thankfully, the sly winks each of the members gave to each other became unnoticed as you were too consumed in your own thoughts to bother.

you were honestly glad the members cleared up their “definitely busy” schedules to watch your debut as a music show mc.

jungwon was lucky his group was already scheduled to be filming for the show for their comeback. sometimes you envied enhypen for constantly being able to release new content but you wondered if enhypen envied arcane for doing the opposite. honestly, probably not.

as soon as you and your group arrived in the sbs building, you all entered your designated waiting room which was right across from jungwon’s.

it was quite obvious it was his waiting room not only because his name was posted on a card next to the door but also because you could hear all the noise coming from inside.

yoonah groaned and crossed her arms in front of her chest, “i wish i could barge in there and kick him in the shin…” she began before looking at your manager who was already glaring at her, “but i won’t do that because it’s rude and disrespectful to our seniors…”

“good job, yoon.” you patted her head.

not even a minute after you all enter the dressing room, you hear a knock on the door and before you know it, almost the entirety of enhypen are scattered around the room.

“woah, why doesn’t jungwon hyung have a nice waiting room like this one?”

“sunoo! don’t eat that, it’s not ours.”

“no, riki. i’m still better than you at soccer. i can beat you right now!”

“no, i’m friends with jiyeon so it’s fine… woah… these taste so good… heeseung hyung! you have to try these.”

“yah! ugh i really can’t do anything to make them stop.”

you looked around the room in an attempt to find jungwon but to no success. you were glad the members, though still a little weary of your manager, were able to somewhat interact with enhypen normally… with an exception of yoonah who was still being held back.

you felt someone tap on your shoulder and whisper a faint “hey” which startled you to the point that you jumped a little.

maybe you put your hopes up a little too high thinking it was jungwon since you immediately got disappointed after seeing a smiling sunghoon right before you.

“oh, hey sunghoon sunbae.”

sunghoon left out a small laugh, “are you disappointed it’s me?”

“ah! no! it’s seriously not like that! i’m sorry…”

“it’s fine, it’s probably the first-day nerves. i had that too when i started mcing… you’ll do great though, i can’t wait to watch you guys later!” he started, before his gaze went to niki and sunoo fighting over a snack. “oh, and sorry about my members…”

“it’s fine. the rest of the members seem to be enjoying their company anyways… by the way, have you seen jungwon?”

“wonie? last time i saw him, he was still preparing for later but i’m not exactly sure where he is now. best if you don’t disturb him for now though, he’s sort of going through a phase.”

“ah.. alright then.”

a few minutes passed and you seemed to be having a pretty good conversation with sunghoon. he gave you tips and things he learned while being mc in music bank and you were definitely going to use them.

the first time you saw jungwon that day was when you were both called onstage. the difference of the trip there from the last time you both went on stage together was that jungwon was both ignoring you and walking quickly, and there were a lot more people there.

jungwon’s long legs with the addition of performers and staff scattered around the hallways made it nearly impossible to reach him.

“jung- jungwon! wait!” you said as you practically chased jungwon down while trying your best to still be respectful to everyone you crossed paths with.

once you entered, you already saw jungwon reading his cue cards while getting his final touch ups onstage. as you went up, you bravely stood next to jungwon and nudged him just a little bit.

“hey.” you whispered. however, the response you got was something unexpected — he just looked at you as if you dug up injang from the grave, ate it, then ate miniwon and garden for dessert.

“okay, not hey…” you looked away, desperate to find something else to do after that somewhat embarrassing moment.

operation: get jungwon back to the old friendly jungwon by being clingy and extra nice was an immediate fail.

the lights of the stage turned on as the cameramen prepared all of their equipment in order to have a successful stage with no malfunctions while both of your staff were doing final touch ups to your hair, makeup, and clothes.

you smile at your members who were silently cheering behind the camera at the audience’s area. usually fans would fill those seats but since it wasn’t allowed, arcane and enhypen would have to do.

“action!”

“the only k-pop show you need!”

“it’s live and it’s”

“the show!”

“hello! i’m the show’s soft cat-like center y/n!”

“and i’m playful cat prince jungwon!”

“jungwon, did you know today is a very special day?”

“oh? why is that, y/n?“

“because, jungwon, today is our first day being mcs! woo!”

“woah! y/n, we should definitely celebrate our first day together.”

“of course we will! we’ll have a lot of fun on our first day, together with a bunch of amazing artists such as…”

on the bright side, the introduction to the show went really well. the most surprising part would definitely be how jungwon acted like there was nothing wrong, as if you both were still friends.

it sort of hurt you a bit after realizing he was only faking it for the fans now but at least you both did a good job as first time mcs.

you didn’t wanna admit this out loud but you felt a small tingle in your stomach every time you made eye contact with jungwon. maybe it was the tingle of pain and embarrassment.

once the camera stopped rolling on you, you didn’t even bother to spare jungwon a glance as you immediately walked off stage to leave him just standing there awkwardly.

you arrived in your waiting room, where the members were supposed to be waiting, to find out that everyone was nowhere in sight.

it disappointed you, of course, knowing that your members probably went home immediately after that stage and you might have missed them just by a hair.

you sat down and scrolled through the comments of your latest twitter post while waiting for the next stages to finish.

while you were doing that, jungwon was searching for his members everywhere. sure, you might think your members went home but enhypen were scheduled film something there so it was impossible they went home too.

after looking for what seems like forever, jungwon had no choice but to knock on your door. of course, when you opened it to reveal him, you immediately closed it again and went back to your seat.

jungwon already knew your waiting room door wasn’t locked so he just invited himself inside anyways.

“why are you here?”

“i’m mc too.”

“yeah, but this is my waiting room.”

“it doesn’t matter.” jungwon said before searching every place his members could be hiding from him.

you stood up and started watching in disbelief. “what are you doing?”

“looking for my members.”

“in a drawer? gosh, you’re unbelievable. i think you should just go.”

“not until you bring me to my members.”

“i. don’t. have. your members. please leave.”

“no.”

“why not?”

“because my members are missing.”

“okay, and? mine are too and do you see me looking inside spaces they clearly can’t fit in? no. so go.”

“you obviously know where they are so take me to them.”

“how would i know where they are?”

“you left the stage before me, didn’t you? you probably stole them from my room and brought them into another room.”

“how could i possibly steal six guys when even their shortest member needs to look down to see me?”

“are you calling me enhypen’s shortest member?”

“are you not?”

“no that’s- that’s beside the point… just show me to my members.”

“okay, fine.” you took his wrist and pulled him into his waiting room before storming out and back into your own.

right when you opened the door, the first thing you heard was your phone. thankfully, it was just jihye calling. she probably wanted to compliment you with the rest of the members.

“unnie! hi-“

“jiyeon’s missing. we can’t find her anywhere, i’m so stressed out.”

“wait what? where’d you last see her.”

“she was with sunoo… and niki! they all went missing.”

“where are you? i’ll go there.”

“wait! i’m in the hallway. i’m close to your room.”

“okay,”

“go outside now.”

you opened the door of your waiting room, not to see jihye but to see heeseung and jungwon going outside as well.

“ah, great! you’re here too.” heeseung said before looking around for something, probably in search of sunoo and niki.

“i’m here!” jihye said as she placed her hands on her knees while panting.

“okay, i heard sunoo and niki are missing too and since they were with yeonie, they probably are together. so i suggest we split up in pairs so we can find them on time.” you say.

“okay! i can go with heeseung.” jihye responded before almost immediately dragging him away.

“i’m going on my own, then.”

“yang jungwon, didn’t you hear? i said in pairs, it’ll save us a lot more time… next thing we know, you might be the one missing instead.”

“fine.”

you and jungwon have been walking in silence for who knows how long at this point. it was of course, awfully awkward and silent, though when has it not recently? as you both turned the corner, the barely lit hallway seemed to be abandoned by everyone.

“are you sure we're supposed to be here..?” jungwon asks while instinctively holding your arm.

“probably not, let’s go.” you grab jungwon’s hand which was holding onto your arm and pulled him into the dark hallway.

“y/n, i don’t think we should go here…”

“do you wanna find your members or not?”

“i do but i don’t think they’d wander off here… niki and sunoo, probably… but they’d be back by now. jiyeon, on the other hand, i’m not exactly sure. you told me she didn’t like scary things.”

“she doesn’t but she might act tough if your members were around.”

“boo!” jungwon let out a loud yell while his head turned back in fear after feeling someone shake him which made you do the same.

you let out a relieved sigh once you came back to your senses to see sunoo, niki, and jiyeon laughing at the reaction they got out of you both. only a small glance could tell how annoyed jungwon was at his members though it was obvious he was just having a little bit of fun too.

“oh thank god it was just you guys…”

“ew hyung, why are you two holding hands?” niki so obviously pointed out, making the both of you let go almost immediately.

“we weren’t! my hands are free and you’re delusional from the prank you pulled. let’s go.” jungwon said before pulling niki and sunoo away by the arm.

the day passed by quickly but you couldn’t help but think about the fact that you and jungwon actually held hands. it was so weird how comfortable it was for you, it seemed like nothing.

it was still sad how it went back to how it normally was before the incident but you were still glad jungwon showed his true self to you even if it was just because he was scared.

you spent most of your free time with sunghoon since jungwon always managed to keep himself busy whether it be practicing or just spending time with his members.

of course despite this, jungwon took notice — how could he not? every corner he looks at has you having fun with sunghoon in it most of the time.

he sort of regret being so mean to you, especially because you’ve been nice to him for the most part though he had too much pride left in him to just leave the cold mean jungwon façade behind so quickly.

sure, sunghoon was really fun to be around but little did jungwon know that the only thing you really wished for was him to spend time with you instead.

mc enemiez! ( ✶ ) chapter 20 : is this a date? // don’t forget to read the written chapter below! // word count : 1.8k

you arrived at the filming location right on the discussed time though the entire place seemed oddly empty, minus one more car there.

“the director and the staff encountered a road problem so there’s going to be a delay in filming.” your manager informs you before turning off his phone and getting out of the car, probably to stretch his legs.

you responded with an “okay” before going on your phone to play some wifi-less games jiyeon made you download in case her phone died during your schedules.

only a few minutes passed when you heard a knock on your window. when you look to your left, you see jungwon’s face pressed up against the window with fog coming out each time he breathes.

“hi” you say as you put down the window.

“hey, wanna walk around?” jungwon begins before looking around, “i don’t think they’re going to be here for a while.”

“sure!”

right as you went down from your car, you were immediately engulfed into a hug. of course, you were taken aback by this sudden action though you hugged him back soon after.

“woah, what’s with the hug?”

“nothing, i just missed spending time with you… normally.”

you looked down at your feet to stop yourself from smiling too hard while also buying yourself some time to think of a good comeback to that.

“well it’s not my fault someone forgot to respond to me.”

“i did forget!”

“yeah, sure you did.”

jungwon let out a small laugh before intertwining your fingers with his and swinging them back and forth.

“you’re really making up for the time we lost, huh?”

“oh, definitely.”

as you two walked farther away from your cars and managers, you couldn’t help but notice jungwon’s eyes locked onto you.

“is there something wrong?”

“yeah, the view is just so pretty.”

“you’ve been looking at me for the entire time?”

after a few seconds of looking behind you, “look! mountains.” was the only thing he said while he pointed with his free hand behind you.

“ah… well yeah, i guess those mountains are really pretty.”

“almost as pretty as you.”

“what?”

“nothing.”

there was a few minutes of silence while you both continued walking around hand-in-hand until jungwon broke it.

“so… are you ready for today? for our date.”

“oh yes, the totally scripted date we’re going to have on camera.”

“well, when you say it like that it doesn’t sound so romantic.”

“because it isn’t supposed to be romantic, jungwon…”

“bummer,”

“what?”

“nothing.”

a few more minutes of walking around and taking pictures passed when jungwon’s phone started ringing. you peeped over his shoulder to see him about to decline sunghoon’s call.

“you should take it.”

“no, it’s fine. he could wait.” jungwon says before declining the call.

not even a few seconds later, sunghoon began ringing again.

“you should take it, it might be an emergency.”

“if it were an emergency he would call the manager. i bet he just wants to know how we're doing.” he says before declining the call once more.

once again, maybe a second or two later, sunghoon rang once again. you groaned, noticing how jungwon was going to decline the call again.

you grabbed the phone out of jungwon’s hand and ran away to make sure he didn't take it back from you before answering the call.

sunghoon’s camera was turned on and it looked like he just woke up.

“sunghoon sunbae, hi! i’m guessing you just woke up. good morning!””

you barely noticed how sunghoon’s face lit up and how he woke up almost instantly as if he got splashed with a bucket of cold water.

“oh, y/n? where’s jungwon?”

you looked around only for jungwon to be standing right behind you with a look of annoyance on his face.

“he’s right here. should i give him the phone?”

“no! ahem- i mean, it’s fine. i just wanted to check up on him since he was already gone when i woke up but since you’re here, i’m guessing he is. so, how was your day so far?”

before you could even respond to sunghoon, jungwon leaned over your shoulder to grab the phone.

“we’re getting called back now, hyung. i’ll talk to you later.” he said while almost immediately ending the call.

you and jungwon stared at each other for a long time without speaking after that.

“wow, his morning voice is so raspy.” you said with a giggle coming out at the same time, feeling all giddy while locking your arm with jungwon’s.

“he just faked that, you know? usually his voice cracks by the second each time he wakes up.”

“whatever you say, wonie.” you rolled your eyes and let go of jungwon’s arm.

immediately after that, you decided that it’s probably time to go back to the filming location since you two walked a lot farther away from it.

of course, you two didn’t go hand-in-hand like a while ago, though jungwon tried his best to at least interlock his pinky with yours — which he failed at doing since you would slap his hand away.

the filming area seemed a lot different than it was before; the picnic area you and jungwon would have your ‘date’ in was already set, surrounded by all the crew.

you sat down next to jungwon on the picnic blanket, trying your best to ignore the fact that jungwon has been staring at you while you practiced your lines.

jungwon probably got bored since he started moving his hand to hold onto yours while also trying to get your attention.

thankfully, one of the staff took away his attention and gave him the camera you two were going to use since the segment was supposed to feel like a vlog.

you thought that jungwon would finally be able to focus on something other than taking your attention.

unfortunately for you, you never knew about jungwon’s odd obsession with microphone covers until today.

you looked away for just one second for a quick retouch to see jungwon taking off the microphone cover and struggling to put it back on.

“i looked away for one second and you’re already breaking things.”

with that, jungwon looked your way and with a cheeky smile, he began poking you all over with the microphone cover.

“jungwon, put it down.”

“no.”

“what do you mean no?”

“i don’t know, you look cute when you’re annoyed.”

“what?”

“nothing. help me put it back on?”

“you play around with the filming equipment and make me fix everything…”

“you’re the leader here.”

“you’re leader too?”

jungwon looks at you with a pout on his face while showing his puppy eyes. his subconscious plan of acting cute towards you was unfortunately working after you let out a sigh and grabbed the camera out of his hands to fix what he had done.

you and jungwon were told by the director to just make it seem like a casual conversation but to not stray away from the script too much.

of course, you had to warn jungwon that any funny business like what he’s been doing the entire day will result in you both getting into trouble.

you only hoped that he listened.

“action!”

“together with the show’s y/n”

“and the show’s jungwon,”

“winter picnic!”

“to celebrate the amazing winter season, there are three must-haves when enjoying a picnic in the cool air before the spring flowers come.”

you tried your best not to look at the camera’s viewfinder but it was difficult whenever you would catch a glimpse of jungwon looking at you say your lines intently.

“first, of course, to have some good scenery for an amazing view.”

you gave jungwon the camera for him to show the viewers the mountains in the background, completely trying to ignore the way jungwon purposely brushed his hand with yours.

“wow, the mountains are really pretty right now.” you commented while moving a bit closer to jungwon who was thankfully focusing on getting a good shot of the mountains.

right as jungwon was about to sit back down, you both made accidental eye contact. you two were so close that it caught him off guard so much that you both began laughing.

you cleared your throat and let out a deep breath before looking back at jungwon who was still trying his best to hold in his laughter.

“so, jungwon, what’s the next must-have?” you asked in an attempt to bring jungwon back into serious work mode.

“ah. second would obviously be the snacks. isn’t that right, y/n?”

you looked at jungwon with a smile while nodding as he brought out the picnic basket from behind you.

“don’t be surprised but i brought your favorite food.” jungwon opens the picnic basket, revealing a ton of chocolates of different brands and flavors.

it was sort of shocking that everything in there were actually chocolates. you both probably assumed that there would be chocolates in the basket together with other actual food items but you were mistaken.

jungwon’s shock was evident as he began his difficult and close to failed attempts at holding back his laughter.

you looked back inside the picnic basket, in hopes that you could have been mistaken but you were totally correct in what you saw – a basket filled with chocolates.

“oh wow, it’s chocolates! how’d you know i like these, jungwon?”

“it was just a wild guess. also, y/n.”

“yeah?”

“i choco you.”

“anyways! the third and final must-have is obviously music, right? let’s see who our artist line-up is for today.”

after the filming and photo taking was done, jungwon walked you towards the car.

thankfully your manager was probably freshening up in the bathroom so you two could spend more time together without the fear of your manager listening in and scolding you from being too close to him.

you entered your car and put down the window so you two could continue talking.

“jungwon.” you said as he held your hand one last time.

“hm?” he asks with his lips pursed together with his face only inches near yours.

you let out a small laugh while poking his dimple hard enough to push his face away.

“good job today.”

“i wouldn’t have been so good without you, y/n. i had fun.”

“me too”

jungwon leaned on your car window while looking at you with a pout on his face.

“hey, y/n?”

“yeah?”

“was this a date?”

“you gotta try harder if you wanna score a real date with me.”

it was evident in his face that he was disappointed with your response but he tried his best to hide it by

“text me when you get home. i don’t want my best friend to go missing, you know.”

“best friend?”

“yeah”

“okay, i like that. i’ll talk to you soon.”

it seemed as if you both started talking too soon since jungwon called you almost immediately after he saw your car leave.

mc enemiez! ( ✶ ) chapter 01 : mama // don’t miss the written chapter below! // word count : 1.2k

arcane were absolutely excited to attend their first ever award show and why not start with a bang and attend the 2021 mama. though they were not going to be receiving any awards that day, they were going to be performing their title song ‘luv u’ with a never before seen dance break.

hi the rest of the story is below !

“jiyeon? is that you?” a male voice called out, making all the members look at where the voice was coming from.

“oh? sunoo sunbae?!” jiyeon said, waving happily.

you and yoonah looked at each other with somewhat confused faces but shrugged it off after remembering that jiyeon is basically friends with everyone, before looking back at the group who were currently walking closer to yours. you looked at your members before bowing to the group who did the same soon after.“it’s enhypen sunbaenim.” whispered jihye.

“oh! i forgot to introduce him to you guys, this is sunoo sunbae. he was three grades higher than me in school but he left a few years ago.” jiyeon says, making everyone nod in realization.

“nice to meet you guys! i can’t believe our school’s social butterfly has debuted!” sunoo says, making jiyeon nod in agreement.

the entire interaction seemed awkward to everyone except the two schoolmates who were doing some catching up. so, everyone just went back into their own social circles in fear that the staff might scold them for interacting with a group of the opposite gender.

unfortunately for you, you accidentally made eye contact with one of the members who seemed to be burning holes through his intense glare. it scared you so much that you turn your back to face yoonah.

“who’s that?”

“which one?”

“the one with the purple hair. don’t look for too long though.”

“what are you two babies whispering about?” meiju squeezed in.

“that guy, the one with the purple hair. who is he? don’t look too long.”

both of them obviously didn’t listen and stared straight at him for a good 10 seconds. he immediately realized and looked away, trying to talk to one of his other members but didn’t bother to hide the fact that he was upset.

“you both turned into giraffes trying to look at him, way to be secretive.” you said, mentally face palming yourself at what your members just did which made the two chuckle.

“isn’t that yang jungwon? we talked about him… like last month? i forgot why we talked about him though...” meiju said, making you and yoonah let out a few oohs and aahs.

“is he mad at me or something?”

yoonah questioned you, “why would he? you two met like 5 minutes ago.” she asked while meiju simply nodded in agreement.

you three immediately got startled when jihye squeezed in as well, “what are you three talking about? i finally escaped the awkwardness of listening to jiyeoni and sunoo sunbae catch up in life.”

“we were just talking about the guy with the purple hair, jungwon sunbae.. don’t bother looking, please. i can feel him glaring at me.” you said in a low whisper but once again, jihye didn’t listen and made accidental eye contact with jungwon.

“are you talking about jungwon sunbae? do you have a crush on him, y/n unnie?” jiyeon says loud and clear right behind you, making the four of you face her and deny it immediately, apologizing to enhypen who probably heard the entire thing.

“ah, quit talking nonsense jiyeoni. come on, i think aespa sunbaenim are going to finish up soon.” you said, putting your arm behind the youngest’s back and pushing her towards the beginning of the line.

thankfully, your predictions were correct as the staff soon came up to you and informed you to prepare for the red carpet. arcane all huddled up into a circle to get ready for a small pep talk.

“okay girls first, we need to stop talking about people right in front of them.” you began, making all of them start giggling. “second, we look so expensive and rich so we need to rock this red carpet! let’s show these people our yg pride!”

cheers came in from all the members before you placed your hand in the middle of the circle which made all the members do the same. “one.. two..” you begin before the rest continues chanting with you, “arc! arc! arcane! let’s go!”

the members were patiently waiting for the staff to lead the way to the red carpet before jiyeon turned back to the enhypen members and said, “it was nice meeting you all! fighting for later’s performances!”

with that, arcane cheered for enhypen and bowed once again for their final goodbyes which was reciprocated.

“let’s do this!”

yoonah says confidently, earning small cheers from you and jiyeon before being led to the red carpet. thankfully, it ended up being a success with all of you answering the interview questions and looking good in the photos.

now, your manager was leading arcane to your designated dressing room but on the way, you crossed paths with enhypen. right as both groups finished bowing, you all realized that jungwon walked right past arcane and ended up searching for their dressing room alone.

this left most of the enhypen members in shock of what just happened. so once your group continued your walk to the dressing room, you looked back to see the member with pink hair pulling two other members away while another member giggled with sunoo.

the arcane members, on the other hand, were trying their best to laugh off the shock they just experienced. what made jungwon so mad that he just had to storm off like that? maybe he overheard the group talking about him earlier? or maybe something entirely different?

while some of the members were warming up or recalling some moves for your song’s dance break, you were instead pacing around the dressing room. of course, at a time like this you were overthinking.

arcane was just a one month old group, you didn’t want any of your seniors looking at you or them in a bad light. you desperately wanted to fix whatever happened to make jungwon so upset but you had to push that aside for now.

“y/n, please gather all your members. you’ll be performing in 10.” your manager says, making you nod and count down all your members.

one, two, three… where’s jiyeon?

“where’s jiyeon?” you ask jihye while you helped her put on her in-ear and microphone.

“jiyeoni? she went to the restroom.”

“ah, okay. all done!”

with that, you immediately rushed out of the dressing room to fetch jiyeon from the restroom but was soon met with the chest of yang jungwon himself. he looked at you with pure shock on his face before giving you a mediocre bow as an apology then practically running away.

“that’s it, i’m just going to text her.”

the idea of sunghoon accompanying jungwon this morning made him feel very uneasy. he wasn’t exactly sure why he felt this way but maybe it was because y/n and sunghoon would be formally meeting each other for the first time.

he trusted sunghoon with his whole life, of course but a part of him felt scared at the thought of you both hanging out. who could blame him? you’ve been fangirling over sunghoon since the beginning and well- sunghoon’s sunghoon; every girl who sees him, falls for him.

what if he charms y/n to the point that she would never look at jungwon again? he didn’t want to lose his brand new friend this quickly… or maybe he was just overreacting and sunghoon’s intentions were really what he said they were.

“jungwon!” he heard from behind him, seeing you running towards him at full speed with your manager far behind trying his best to catch up.

“y/n, hi! are you nervous for later?”

before you could even answer his question, sunghoon tapped jungwon’s back making the latter frown and look back at him.

“oh, i forgot... y/n, sunghoon hyung will come and watch us for support.”

“hello!” you said while bowing at sunghoon.

“nice to meet you, y/n.”

“nice to meet you too, sunghoon sunbaenim.”

jungwon noticed how sunghoon’s smile got wider after that. am i the only one who saw that… does he think she’s cute… god, no… ew i really hope not… jungwon thought to himself.

“just speak to me casually, y/n. besides, you’re co-hosts with our jungwon so it’s okay.” he said while patting jungwon’s back a little too aggressively for the boy’s liking.

does he treat wonyoung like this too? ugh, i don’t wanna think about it… he thought to himself once more.

the two of you continued talking while jungwon decided to just cancel out your conversation which he was clearly not a part of. he wasn’t exactly sure how long he zoned out for while blocking out your conversation but he got sent back to the real world when he felt you tugging on his arm before linking it with his.

jungwon tried to stop the smile and blush from creeping onto his face thanks to your actions while also trying to ignore the fact that sunghoon’s big smile immediately fell afterwards.

however, just a few simple words from you would make his attempts on not smiling fail miserably. “speaking of being co-hosts! are you ready for later, jungwon?” you asked before looking up at him.

“i’m ready as i’ll ever be.”

maybe jungwon felt a little bit happier because you finally paid attention to him and not sunghoon but secretly it was because he thinks sunghoon is jealous about all the attention he gets from you.

“cool! we can practice before we go onstage if you’d like? we have an audience too, sunghoon sunbae!” jungwon’s smile immediately faltered after that. it sort of gave him a quick reminder of the fact that sunghoon was still there.

“ah, yeah… sunghoon hyung can watch…” he said with slight disappointment coming from each word. in other circumstances, jungwon would’ve been so happy to have sunghoon with him but this is y/n he’s talking about…

he’s had a hunch that the only reason why sunghoon hangs out on sunoo’s bed often is because they ‘secretly’ watch y/n and other arcane fancams. it’s not exactly a secret when it involves sunoo, though.

that boy is not great at hiding his emotions when secretly unboxing arcane’s album — jungwon still remembers when he screamed “wow! y/n’s so pretty here in this album.” which made sunghoon leave his steak to go to sunoo. maybe sunghoon did deserve his steak to be eaten by riki that day…

“jungwon, why are you smirking? are you planning something?” you joked, bringing him back into the real world.

“huh?”

“it’s nothing. let’s go?”

“sure!”

“great!” you and sunghoon said in sync.

jungwon rolled his eyes while you and sunghoon were giggling at how they said the same word at the same time. go ahead and giggle, sunghoon hyung. do you see whose arm hers is linked with? that’s right, it’s mine.

he was too busy threatening sunghoon in his mind that he got startled when he felt your hair slap his face when you looked back.

you immediately let go of jungwon’s arm when your manager getting closer and closer before ushering all of you to go to the meeting room.

right when you got there, you both spent no time to practice your lines for the final run through which surprisingly went even smoother than before.

“jungwon-ssi, do you see anything different about me?” you asked him with the same enthusiastic voice you used while mcing, twirling some strands of your hair at the same time.

“h-huh? th.. that wasn’t in the script? was it..?”

“hm? just answer.” you said with laughter coming out at the same time.

“i- uh…”

jungwon was absolutely confused. he kept thinking long and hard about the script while just staring at you. was there a line i missed? i’m so dumb i can just look at the cue cards. however while jungwon was trying his best to search for the line, sunghoon cleared his throat.

“ah, sorry. your parts… they were done right? by the way, i think the purple really suits you.” he says while pointing to his hair. this clearly had an effect on you since your face started turning bright red which sunghoon thoroughly enjoyed to see. i mean, could he blame you? sunghoon is a literal god.

oh so it wasn’t part of the script… y/n just tried pranking me… but why does sunghoon hyung have to butt in this wasn’t a question for him?!

“sunghoon-ssi, we have to go.” says his manager in almost the best timing since jungwon was fuming in jealousy towards his older member.

thank god he’s leaving. i can finally have y/n’s undivided attention.

“ah, sorry i have to leave early. work calls for me! see you on tuesday to watch the real thing, y/n. i’ll see you at home, won.” sunghoon said before tapping jungwon’s back and walking out of the meeting room.

“y/n, jungwon? are you two ready for the rehearsal stage? the director is waiting.” one of the staff says, leading everyone else towards the stage.

damn, seriously?!

while walking, jungwon tries his best to cancel out whatever you were talking about since you were just gushing over sunghoon.

“jungwon, are you listening to me?”

“huh? what did you say?”

“sunghoon sunbae’s aura is crazy! was i starstruck when i was in his presence or did i seem okay? gosh, he is so handsome! i can’t believe…” aaand he has turned on his avoid yn talking about sunghoon mode once more.

once the rehearsal ended and the director gave his final remarks, you and jungwon began talking once more which was basically just you complimenting how well he did and him doing the same to you.

“i bet sunghoon sunbae would think you’re amazing too. i must be going crazy! i’m still not over the fact that i actually met him today! am i fangirling? i don’t think i’m fangirling… am i?” with that, jungwon groans and walks out of the building, leaving you behind while still freaking out about sunghoon.

as the car rolled nearer to the yg building, jungwon rolled his eyes after noticing a few fans camping out front. he thought about how his company would never let anyone do that but what did he expect? yg is probably too busy collecting money from blackpink to care.

the fans started huddling up and pointing towards the car which made jungwon look away from the window and hide under the hood of his jacket. “god, i’m already regretting this.” he said before pulling up his phone to text you.

after about a minute or two passes after his initial text, he hears people screaming your name coming from the small crowd of fans then looks at the entrance to see you waving happily at them.

immediately after his manager noticed, he unlocked the door while jungwon opened it for you as you hurried inside before you closed the door and began driving away.

“hi! thanks for agreeing to meet me.” you said happily before bowing to jungwon’s manager at the drivers seat. you then stood up and leaned towards him, showing your notes app with an address written on it.

“could you bring us here please?”

“eh? isn't that a bit far?”

“trust me, no one will catch us there.” you reassured him as he hesitantly started looking for your destination in his navigation app.

you sat down and put on your seatbelt then looked at jungwon who was just fiddling with his fingers. the atmosphere was so awkward it was suffocating, regardless of the fact that a faint hint of justin bieber’s ‘u smile’ was playing in the background.

despite only five minutes passed, it still felt like hours since jungwon refused to look at you and just start up a conversation. it almost felt irritating since you thought he should be the one making an effort since he was the one messing up anyways.

you’ve had enough of both the awkwardness and the justin bieber songs playing in the background because enhypen probably loves justin bieber for some reason. you bet the manager felt the awkwardness too so you finally decided to just break the ice.

“so, i see you’ve changed.”

“i- uh… yeah, we had practice for our comeback so…”

“ah… same. we’re kinda wearing the same thing, aren’t we?” you joked, noticing how you were both wearing grey hoodies.

“i suppose.”

“great minds think alike i guess…”

“haha…”

“so… uhm… anyways! we should probably start getting to know each other since we haven’t had the chance to.”

“yeah, i guess so.”

“uh well… do you like gaming?”

“not my thing.”

“ah… yeah… same i’m not that good…”

you always knew your communication skills were lacking but you didn’t realize its severity until now. you had no idea on what else to say and it was still way too awkward. you thought long and hard, it felt like you were lost in your thoughts for hours even if it was only a couple minutes.

“uh.. well… do you wanna practice our lines? maybe i can help you out.” you say, seeing his eyes light up for just a second before going cold again.

“sure, why not.”

“okay. look at me first though.”

“why?”

“so that it would be more natural. just trust me on this.”

jungwon hesitantly turns his head towards you but it was so obvious that his sight went straight to the view behind you.

“no, you’re not looking at me.”

he somehow felt offended by what you said and he made it obvious by scoffing immediately after you said that. he was probably offended because his junior was treating him like this but you just think he’s using this as a way to stall your practice.

you sigh in annoyance and move so that he would look into your eyes but when his eyes moved away once again, you accepted defeat and leaned back on your seat with a sad pout on your face. you hoped that his manager could see a good view of you sulking so he could scold jungwon for being a bad coworker.

“just look at your co-host, jungwon-ah. no need to be shy.” jungwon’s manager said with somewhat of a fatherly smile on his face.

jungwon rolled his eyes before it landed on yours. it truly looked cold and lifeless however his slowly reddening cheeks were an indicator that it was indeed not the case. he could only thank the heavens that you both could barely see each other in the darkness.

“okay… you look like you want to chop my head off but we can work on that! just look at me when were saying our interacting lines, okay?” you began, earning a nod from jungwon.

“now let’s start. i already memorized our lines a few days ago but i have the script in my phone so that we don’t make any mistakes.” you continued while taking out your phone from your bag.

“mister jungwon’s manager, could you please act as the director for us?” you asked, getting a small sense of pride when his manager nodded his head while letting out a short chuckle.

“okay, action!”

“uh… okay, the… the only k-pop show you need…” jungwon said unenthusiastically, which made you frown.

“more lively, sunbae! like how you did it this afternoon.”

he nodded and cleared his throat before repeating his line once more. “like that?” he asks,

“yes! exactly like that! okay, manager-nim!”

“action!”

“the only k-pop show you need!"

“it’s live and it’s”

“the show!”

“hello! i’m the show’s soft cat-like center y/n!”

“and i’m playful cat prince jungwon!”

“jungwon, did you know today is a very special day?” you asked him.

he looked at you, noticing how you were already looking back at him. despite the streetlights being the only thing giving you a view of jungwon, you noticed how he got visibly more and more nervous the longer you two had eye contact.

“o-oh… wh- why is that, y/n-ssi?”

you shook your head at jungwon who seemed too disappointed in himself, “no it’s like this. ‘oh? why is that, y/n-ssi?’ just pretend you’re talking to someone you’re close to… that’s what i do, at least.“

he nodded and took a deep breath. he hesitated but said his line once again when you gave him a look of reassurance. it still seemed awkward and a bit unnatural but he didn’t stutter and kept eye contact with you.

despite that, your smile got wider when jungwon somewhat successfully said the line he was stumbling over. maybe it was the lighting or maybe it was late and you were hallucinating but you noticed how jungwon’s eyes softened and stopped being cold, lifeless, and intimidating like before.

“that was good! just say the rest of your lines a bit more cheerful and it’ll be perfect. i’ll say my lines now, okay?” you noted, earning a nod from the boy next to you.

“because, jungwon-ssi, today is our first day being mcs!” you said, cheering alongside jungwon’s manager who seemed to have even more fun than the two of you.

you both continued with your lines while pausing after a few lines to exchange comments. jungwon seemed to really take note of your comments though as you noticed how he slowly improved after each of his lines.

as time passed, it seemed to be even more fun. whenever jungwon would be tongue tied, he would yell in annoyance and laugh it off before repeating his lines once more. the things he does always seemed to make you laugh which was far from your expectations coming into this. even the manager seemed to have fun when jungwon’s true personality comes out.

it was shocking to see how different the jungwon on stage was a few hours ago to the jungwon in front of you now. he seemed so uncomfortable and upset but it felt comfortable and casual now, as if he took the comment ‘pretend you’re talking to someone you’re close to’ seriously.

now, you both finally finished your 5th run-through of the introduction with little to no mess ups like before. you were proud of how natural you both were and jungwon’s manager even gave you both a 110/10 rating afterwards.

“jungwon sunbae, you did amazing! i think that if you do the exact same thing on friday, i promise you that the directors face would literally explode because of how good you are!”

“ah, no no no. you did great as well.” he praised you almost immediately.

“i think we make a great team, sunbae.” you tell him, nudging him a bit.

while jungwon denied all of your constant praise, you felt him going visibly more and more shy. he would never admit the fact that your reassurance, comments, and tips gave him a lot of confidence which helped him execute his lines well. while you, on the otherhand, would never admit the fact that you wanted to continue praising jungwon because of how cute he was all flustered.

the idea of you two actually being friends crossed jungwon’s mind. you were nice and thanks to you, he improved his lines a lot better than before. your interactions now almost made him forget why exactly he was mad at you. keyword: almost.

its been almost 45 minutes since you both started practicing your lines, however he remembered why exactly he’s been so against putting his guard down with you. you already stole his “youngest leader in k-pop” title, what else would you steal from him? would you steal his jay hyung or even his annoying maknae riki?

you noticed how jungwon immediately recomposed himself and went back to his original cold demeanor which could quite possibly haunt you in your dreams. the immediate change of attitude disappointed you, of course. maybe he took the pretend part of ‘pretend you’re talking to someone you’re close to’ too seriously.

the hope you had for you two to actually be friends immediately faded. maybe that chance would happen in another life but you really wished it was in this one right now. jungwon seems like a genuinely fun person to be around, so what’s stopping him?

you sighed and leaned back onto your seat. you opened your bag to grab your very sad earphones from it so that you could listen to music other than justin bieber. you were too upset and disappointed to be listening to yummy right now.

you glanced back and jungwon who was already looking outside the window then looked back onto your earphones to untangle them. little did you know, jungwon began looking at you right when you looked away.

a girl from a rich company like yg has a designer bag but is still struggling to untangle her earphones. oh wait- where are we?! jungwon thought to himself.

“we’re exactly are you taking us, y/n-ssi?”

your gaze immediately moved from your still-tangled earphones back at the boy who still looked to be as cold as ice. you stared at him for a while wondering how he looks so cold towards you despite the car’s heater being turned on and how bright and cheerful he was only a few minutes ago.

“y/n-ssi.”

“ah! it’s a café my members and i go to when we just don’t want to get noticed by anyone. it’s in the middle of nowhere and really far away from the city.” you said then moved your head to look at the car’s clock.

“since it’s getting a bit late, the café would be closed but since i’m a special customer, they’ll keep it open for longer… well- jihye unnie’s grandma owns it! she loves me so…” your voice falters a bit, realizing you’ve been talking a lot after you notice jungwon growing silent and just watching you.

“ah… i’m talking too much, i’m sorry.”

“oh, no it’s fine! you can go on.”

“oh okay.. as i was saying, jihye unnie’s grandma loves me… well because we’ve been friends for years now and we would visit often while we were trainees…”

you just started talking and talking, occasionally asking jungwon about his own personal experiences with his own members but he was mainly just listening to you tell random stories which pop up into your mind.

moments passed and you both moved closer to each other in the car, with jungwon now sitting on the middle seat. he held his phone in front of you with a group picture on the screen.

“okay so this one with the pink hair is heeseung hyung, he’s the eldest. then this one is jay hyung, i don’t really know why he’s oddly clingy but i don’t really mind. this one is jake hyung. he's from australia and he likes correcting our grammar which used to be annoying but we’re used to it now. this one is-”

“sunghoon sunbae! i know him from music bank… he’s really good looking.” you say, noticing how jungwon’s smile fades significantly.

“yeah, i guess he is… i think i’m more good looking though, don’t you think?”

“hm…” you look at him then look back at the picture then back at him. “i don’t know…”

“y/n!” he says with a pout on his face which immediately makes you laugh at his cute behavior.

“i’m just kidding!”

“okay, good. then this one is sunoo hyung, you already know him because of jiyeon… then this…” jungwon sighs, “this one is our youngest, riki. he teases us a lot but he’s cute so it’s okay i guess.”

“alright, we finally arrived!” the manager cuts your conversation short before unlocking the car door.

jungwon exits the car first, waiting for you to exit from the same side he’s on.

“maybe i can introduce you to them in person next time.” he continues right as you exit the car before he shuts the door while you lead him towards the cafe.

“that would be so cool. i’ll introduce you to my members too.” you told him before putting up your pinky for him to pinky promise with you. he laughed at your action before locking his pinky with yours.

you heard the bells ring right when jungwon opened the cafe’s door for the both of you. in contrast to the cold night’s air on the outside, the cafe was welcoming and warm. only a few seconds after the door closes, you see an older woman ushering towards the both of you.

your smile grows wide as you run towards her, “grandma!” you say happily before greeting her with a tight hug.

“y/n-ah… you got prettier since the last time i saw you… you all don’t visit me often anymore!” jihye’s grandma says as she examines you. her eyes immediately double in size when she sees jungwon next to you.

he immediately bows and greets her before he becomes thoroughly examined as well. she nods in approval while getting a 360 view of jungwon.

“who’s this, y/nie? is it your boyfriend? ah, finally! i’ve told your mom in the past that you were at the age where you needed to have your first boyfriend already. look at him, he’s so tall and wow! look at those broad shoulders!” she says then straightening up jungwon’s shoulders which was probably slouched from looking down too much.

“you two must be cold and tired from the long drive. come on, come on inside! hurry!”

jungwon stops in shock when he sees the café filled with tons of cat memorabilia and a few cats scattered around. he felt his nose itching a bit but tried to ignore it; however , he unfortunately couldn’t stop the sneeze that went out.

“oh, jungwon? are you okay? oh no, i forgot to ask you if you were allergic to cats… are you? ah, what should we do? are you okay?”

“no, i’m fine. don’t worry. i’ll just sit down.”

“okay. i’ll order for us then. is there something you want?”

“just choose for me.”

you nod before walking towards jihye’s grandma who was already waiting for you in the kitchen. you were preparing two cups when she nudged you with a cheeky smirk plastered on her face.

“your boyfriend is handsome, isn’t he?” she whispers, making you turn red.

“ah, no… he’s not my boyfriend, grandma. he’s just a co-worker.”

“hm… it doesn’t seem that way…” she says before heading to make two of the drinks you usually get whenever you visit.

you look at jungwon who was trying his best to stay away from a cat who was just getting nearer and nearer to him. his nose was already red, probably from him rubbing his nose like crazy.

you two had fun that night, talking about random things in life and even practicing your lines once again with grandma as your first ever audience. jungwon seemed to have a lot of fun with jihye’s grandma as well, apparently he’s a grandma magnet since every grandma he met loves him for some reason.

it was safe to say you both enjoyed it as jungwon even dropped you off at your dorm since you both didn’t want the night to end. maybe the possibility of you both being friends in this life is doable afterall.
