i know i joke about how much i Hate the wine stream because who allowed Wilbur Soot and Alex Quackity to get drunk with each other for almost 4 hours, but i miss December 16th 2021 SO MUCH.

like seeing quackity's private tweet of the vlog gun provided me with like a RUSH of dopamine and i could NOT stop smiling

although i missed the first hour or so because i was in class, i opened twitch like as soon as i got home

Brief crash course for HBomb94 (not Hbomberguy!) + Hermits for those unfamiliar with him:

H is a MCC player and the Sands of Time VOD reviewer. He’s a core member of the MCC community and he’s why players say “Hi HBomb” before SoT

H teams with the hermits frequently to the point it’s a meme: H collects the hermits (he’s teamed with most of the MCC hermits— False, Ren, Grian, Pearl, Cub, Gem, Scar, Impulse) and he gets adopted by the hermits

In MCC, he’s known for having the “H factor” which states his presence boosts his teammates’ scores. He’s a fantastic leader and he keeps the morale up.

H is in Iskall’s Vault Hunters series— this is probably his most direct link to HC. H was invited after Ren met him when they teamed in MCC9, so yeah, that’s part of the Blue Bats’ legacy.

H is a big fan of Hermitcraft and he’s watched many hermits before— there’s more of his fanboying in his watch of Grian’s HC7 world tour

H sometimes teams with hermits outside of MCC in various e-sports events, but most of the team ups are in MCC

H was the one who predicted False popping off in Dodgebolt back in August 2020 when they hadn’t met yet

H was the team leader for MCC9 Blue Bats (H, Fruitberries, False, Ren) and he truly believed in all of them as a team even though False and Ren had gotten 9th like three times in a row, and they had an amazing legendary underdog victory. Probably the best MCC hermit victory ever (but I’m obviously biased haha).

Since then, H has teamed with the hermits many times, and they’ve won multiple times (Blue9 with False and Ren, Aqua20 with Gem, Aqua29 with False and Cub)

He played in irl MCC Twitch Rivals with Scar, Gem and Impulse (and possibly met Tango there in person)

H is a huuuuuge fanboy of the hermits in general and he’s always so proud and happy to team with them. He’s like “IT’S ME AND MY HERMITS! :D”. He’s vocally supportive and encouraging of the hermits in MCC (even when they were underestimated and seen as cannon fodder).

While H is an honorary hermit, it’s a different way from, let’s say, Skizz, because H isn’t in the Life series / Empires, he’s not a builder / redstoner— he’s like the MCC / SoT guy. He’s beloved among the MCC hermits, and the hermits and H are enthusiastic about each other.

Sands of Time and Decked Out have been frequently compared to each other, Grian even mentioned to H at the end of MCC18 that he got his ravager dodging skills from Decked Out 1

H being on HC is very exciting not only because H is a big hermit fan, he’s also not on Life series / Empires like the rest of the guests, so he has less of a connection to Tango personally, but they still invited him ^_^

Blame Jordan’s curiosity for this existing but longest no-win streaks in MCC history!!

This is all just for fun, if I see anyone being mean about this it’s on sight /hsrs

Kara- 26+: her team won the very first MCC but she hasn’t won since, despite having been in 26 canon events

Jordan- 21: he participated in 21 canon events before winning for the first time in MCC22

Shelby- 20: she won two events in season one before hitting a streak of not winning for 20 events in a row, this was broken in MCC22

Krtzyy- 17: they won MCC1 along with Kara and had a similar pattern of not winning for the rest of seasons one and two. However, he participated in less events and was able to break his curse in MCC29

Ranboo- 16+: he has been in 16 canon events and have not yet gotten their first win.

Pearl, Puffy, and Quig- 15(+): Pearl has been in 15 canon events and have yet to win. Puffy won her first coin in MCC6 and is currently at 15 canon participations since without another win. Quig participated in 15 events between his victories in MCC5 and MCC23

Jack, Martyn, Tommy, and Wilbur- 14(+): Jack has been in 14 canon events and has yet to win. Martyn participated in 14 events before winning his first canon event in MCC23. Tommy participated in 14 canon events between his wins in MCC4 and MCC19. Wilbur has won twice, but not in any of the 14 canon events he’s been in since MCC12

Sylvee- 13: she participated in 13 canon events before getting her first win in MCC18

Fruit, Jimmy, Pete, Punz, RyGuy, and Vixella- 12(+): Fruit participated in 12 canon events between his wins in MCC9 and MCC26. Jimmy went 12 events before getting his first win in MCC14. Pete has had 12 canon participations since his last win in MCC17. Punz had a similar situation to Fruit between his victories in MCC13 and MCC28. RyGuy won MCC2 and has not won again in his 12 canon participations since. Vixella has been in 12 canon events and has yet to get her first win

DrGluon, Gumi, James Turner, Joel, Niki, and Zeuz- 11(+): DrGluon and James have participated in 11 events together and have yet to win. Gumi has been in 11 canon events and has yet to get her first win. Joel went 11 participations between his wins in MCC10 and MCC25. Niki participated in 11 canon events and has yet to win. Zeuz was in 11 events before getting his first win in MCC21

Fundy, Oli, Scott, and TapL- 10(+): Fundy won his first event in MCC6 and did not win again in his following 10 canon participations. Oli went 10 events before he got his first win in MCC22. Scott had 10 canon participations between his wins in MCC18 and MCC30. TapL has also been in 10 canon events since his win in MCC12

watching sapnap play sot is so interesting bcuz instinct players (like him & fruit) usually dont do as well at sot bcuz sot has a specific play style that is best for the game.. while ppl come up with diff strategies there are just some general key things that always help (ex: comm’ing EVERYTHING, breaking spawners etc) that might not be instinct for really good (pvp oriented) players

one of the best mcc teams that i never see a lot of love for are the mcc18 mustard mummies. fr the vibes were so fun and they all played so well . the costumes . girl the fact that they were the scooby gang was so cute i literally don’t know what to tell you i mean tubbo got locked out of his main and his alt account he had to make a new one like right before he event started tubbo also leaked his team AND that all stars was coming up . but fr tubbo scott sylvee and sapnap have such a good dynamic with each other they really did have a lot of fun they fucking dominated they won 3 games had at least one person in the top 5 for like 6/8 games had 3 top 5 places in battle box WON BUILDMART !!! all four of them placed top 20 and it gave sylvee and tubbo their first wins . it was fucking glorious

MCC Party Krimson Kraken Skins!

I missed MCC Twitch Rivals skins because I just didn't have enough time to make skins. Obviously, I didn't have that problem this time. Although to be fair, it was a non-canon event. But so is this one.

If this is the first post you’re seeing of mine, hi! I have made a lot of CaptainSparklez’ team’s skins, ever since MCC14 (links: MCC15, MCC16, MCC17, MCC18, MCC19, MCC21, MCC22, MCC23, MCC24, MCC25, MCC28, MCC30, MCC31, MCC32, MCC33, MCC34). On occasion I’ve also made skins for other teams, such as the Red Rabbits of MCC Rising. Feel free to share this, just tag this post so that it links back to me. Thank you! Ok, more below the cut.

I’m using my reddit username as the signature, don’t worry I’m not stealing from anyone.

So the backstory for this is that they're cake pirates! I don't know how well I managed the cake part, but I thought that would be a fun party themed thing for them to be instead of like, presents.

I thought my last Krimson Kraken skins were good (MCC21 obviously) but now I'm looking at them in comparison with these and well. The shading might be better for the last ones, but these ones are much better in terms of colors.

The krakens on the back are ever so slightly smaller this time. But not much. It's hard to make small krakens. Ok, onto individual breakdowns.

Starting with Krtzyy, and there's not really much to say here. The shirt is pretty much the same just in brown instead of blue and aqua. The necklace is gold now and added a sash because those are pirate-y. The most interesting part is that I made the backwards hat a bandana this time instead of a tricorn like I did last time.

Next up, KaraCorvus, who has a long skirt this time. Did you know that corsets are hard to convey with only four pixels across? I think I managed. The feathers in the hair remain this time, although they are frosting splattered. Oh and I shortened the hair again, but that's just standard at this point.

I made Krinios red again. I think I actually managed to make the color stand out more this time. Last time the red almost make the skin tone blend in with the coat. Also, this time, Krinios has the tricorn.

And finally KaptainSparklez. I'll admit the pants are very derivative from last time I made the Krakens. Hey, don't fix what's not broken. I think this might be the record for the most amount of colors in the glasses? It's four. Anyways not much else to say really.

And yeah it’s crazy. What do you mean this whole saga started out with H making a Reddit post that’s like “I haven’t talked to False before but she scares me and I know she’s gonna pop off in Dodgebolt” like it’s crazy. And then H met everyone and now he’s gonna be on the server. Man.
