The age gap is too big for me, Junkrat is 25, Roadhog is 48. That's a 23 year age gap, which is way too big for me. My maximum age gap is 10 years if they met as adults, also to me Roadhog is old enough to be Junkrats dad. (This is one I'm probably going to get hate for. If you ship it good on you, I just don't like it.)

They're found siblings, they've been implied to be found siblings longer than Pharah has been implied to be a lesbian. I don't see this ship much (thank god) but when I do I get the urge to throw something. Throw out the "pseudo" and I'm much more interested, Anon, haha! But...whether I could write something good about mcreaper...I kinda doubt it.

Blood-related Gabriel and Cole has always been more interesting to me anyhow. In an AU that's fairly close to canon, there could be some reason why Gabriel was sworn to secrecy about being Cole's father; maybe the God AIs would have targeted him during the Omnic Crisis, maybe Gabriel thought Cole was killed during the Crisis and feels guilty about not tracking him down before he fell in with the Deadlocks (and then he conceals the truth so that he can keep an eye on him in Blackwatch without accusations of nepotism), or he just plain didn't know he had a son until Cole has some DNA test and Athena is all, "Hey, guess what, it's a match!" and Gabriel has mixed feelings about telling him and then the whole Talon thing happens...

When it comes to Gabriel and Cole just knowing they're father and son, I tend to favor AUs that don't include the rest of Overwatch canon at all, like modern AUs, that sort of thing.

BUT, unfortunately, even with all that, I don't really like writing non-Yeehan ships unless they're Yeehan-adjacent...and by adjacent, I mean cheating, with Hanzo and Cole in an "exclusive" relationship but with one or both of them cheating without the other knowing.

When I got your ask, Anon, I immediately started thinking about a plot where it's Cole and Hanzo's wedding day, and Gabriel, as the father of the groom, is helping Cole get ready for the ceremony, and they make love in order to calm each other down and to reaffirm that Cole's marriage won't change the relationship between them. That's the sort of mcreaper I could write.

But when I think of just Gabriel and Cole...the incest aspect does make it more appealing, but I think I'd struggle to write anything good if it wasn't Yeehan-adjacent.
