Don't think about the lore of how she would exist in a Wuxia setting. This is for goofs. #Part 2 tomorrow ! Though its mostly silly doodles of the MDZS crew. #Lawyers and MDZS crossover *so* well. Legally blonde is a bit too specific of a story though. More on that in the next post. #Legally Blonde in general is a movie that means a lot to me (esp the musical). one of my fav things about the untamed is the seemingly unlimited number of disciples like. there’s the final battle against the wens. dozens of disciples die, literally only the main characters survive. there’s talk of total loss and destruction, everyone is gone. cut to next scene: every sect is shown to have nearly as many disciples as they were depicted as starting with. rinse and repeat after every battle.

I get saying WWX did no wrong ever but I’m genuinely confused about how LWJ did no wrong. I swear even Vrishchika/Juu/Sangeang can agree that this man, for the lack of a better word, does not deserve WWX for his lack of action.

MDZS isn’t tightly written like TGCF and hence, it falls in its romance. Besides giving a morality lesson, the main couple falls flat. Why do you think WWX is liked more compared to LWJ?

Why are you putting words into other people's mouths? I'm genuinely curious as to how or why you think this is appropriate "you swear" is sure a rude presumption on your part, and full breach of privacy to bring them up when it's not even merited. I certainly don't appreciate you using a friend I talk to on a daily basis as part of your baseless argument.

Also, why are you bringing up another book here? They aren't in the same realm of having the same reasons, circumstances or story telling plot other than sharing an author. It's rude to the author herself to try insulting a previous work of hers as well as dismissing the genre they are in. They're all romance, she is a romance writer.

Plenty of people have discussed why trying to say someone deserves another's love is creepy. I can vouch for all three disagreeing immensely with that as well when it regards Wei Wuxian and his relationship with Lan Wangji.

You are looking down on the work the author has consistently also stated to how much surety and care she put into with Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian being made to reflect the other for the better, she certainly doesn't think they're not deserving of the other. So why would I when she is content in the way she portrayed them as a couple, she did her job just fine with convincing her audience of them working as a couple given it's still an international franchise getting translated seven years later and it's draw is the couple itself.

I don't need to explain a thing to you with how stupid you are as well as trying to use this as some nasty sort of bait that makes you look for the worse.

Wei Wuxian felt too heavy, it was hard to even lift his head.

“So you refuse to cry, huh? Don't you want to show your true self?” The pirate donned in golds and dark browns lifted the merman’s chin; the urge to rip his head away and bite the fucker’s hand was an immediate response but the merman was so tired after being treated so roughly that he just leveled him with a glare instead.

Refusing to say anything to the detestable pirate, he turned his head away with as much force as he could muster. The pirate tsked and let him, standing up and brushing his hands off as if having touched something quite disgusting. “Alright. Think about it a bit longer then.” He adjusted his hat and left him there in the brig, bruised and bleeding.

He heard the pirate crew cheer once more and break out into a sea shanty soon after, deceivingly joyous. Wei Wuxian had once enjoyed the far-off sound of a sea shanty; now he wasn’t sure he’d ever see it the same way again.

He lifted his head, staring at the nearest crack in the boards to the sky. Seeing the moon shine so brightly into the darkness of the brig, he felt a renewed desire to move- to escape.

The merman took a deep breath and grimaced as his arms changed, shifting into ethereal, shimmering blues and slipping through the chains that had once held him up against the wall and nearly falling to the floor once he had. He winced and rubbed his wrists, panting quietly as he listened to the sailors cheer and sing, eventually getting up to check the brig and see if there was some way he could get out.

Finding a small crack in the hull, he glanced back and around one more time to make sure no one was there before his body shifted, spilling like water through the cracks and back into the sea.

He swam and swam and swam, the sound of their voices disappearing past the waves of water. All he could think about was to return to his traveler’s shadows. to rest.

Lan Wangji lifted his head and shielded his eyes from the sun, staring out over the glistening waters with a frown.

He hadn’t been finding nearly as much lately. Usually, he found shells, stones, pearls, and all sorts of fantastic things. He always hoped it was his faceless savior, and…well, now he was hoping it wasn’t.

He folded his arms over his knees and watched the sea foam over the shore, worry heavy in his chest.

Not me every once in a while adding to this insanely expansive Star Wars AU for CQL/MDZS. Just made the sect political landscape set on a planet that is/was a colony of Mandalore, where because they’re quite separate from the planet’s political turmoil, are kind of is insulated and deal with their shit internally. The sects are also actual political entities now, having merged in part with the regional government at some point in the planet’s history. There’s still a distinction between the sect families and the actual government, but their relationship is much more tied and because of this the five great sects act as a government body together. The Wens have some sort of relationship with the empire when they take over Mandalore and gain access to their planet, and through them, problems begin to arise

#katantalks #it’s honestly kinda embarrassing how much I think about this au #fun fact WWX becomes an inquisitor as a double agent. he’s a fulcrum agent within the inquisitorius #and there’s a reason for that #also cultivation is still a thing but follows SW force rules so golden cores aren’t how they cultivate #but JC still loses his cultivation abilities but it’s not as easily fixed as in canon so he actually can’t cultivate/use the force anymore #but bc the sects have a mix of government and cultivation duties JC still has legitimacy as a sect heir even without cultivation abilities #the Nies are Mandalorians bc I say so <33 #oh and most characters are not humans I have alien assignments somewhere #mdzs #the war against the Wens lasts longer than in canon bc of the whole empire situation so our characters become rebels and entangled with the #rebellion #i think it’d be fun if they were close with the Ghost crew bc of their proximity to Mandalore’s revolt

The ships are afraid from passing there, the map had a whole warning and the part is called *insert name with dead something* and nobody, human or mermaid, had the corage to approach.

Except LWJ, but nobody knows that.
