Okay, now, I have a HUGE problem with cauliflower. It’s just broccoli’s loser cousin. What even is it? It has no taste. When it’s cooked it’s either too hard or it’s disgustingly soggy. And people try to liven it up with cauliflower cheese - No! You might as well put cheese on cardboard and it’d be more appetising. And don’t get me started on cauliflower rice. Great, now can eat mush with the flavour of boiled water. Who cares if it’s good for a diet as a rice replacement? Rice doesn’t have many calories in the first place! Even a smaller portion of rice is preferable to a serving of cauliflower rice.
Ahem. Deep breaths. Calm down. To answer the question: I don’t like cauliflower.

Favourite character : Jin Guangyao, ofc it’s the best golden fox of MDZS
Favourite friendship : Xue “You let me have fun with my murder so I’ll tear their tongues out for insulting your mother” Yang and Jin “I need someone to work for me without creating more problems so I clean after you and give you a courtesy name” Guangyao. What a beautiful relationship 😊
Favourite ship : Nieyao, intense tragedy full of love, escalated conflict, and betrayed. The beauty horror reflection of society’s many problems and more.
Favourite sect : Yunmeng Jiang, the aesthetic is top notch with all those water and lotus. I grew up with lotus pond at my grandparents’ place and small lotus pots in my own house, so this sect really resonate with me. Jiang Cheng hotness also really help 💜
Favourite sword : Hengsheng, who wouldn’t want a flexible sword hiding somewhere on their body in case of emergency? Baxia is cool, but I don’t want to end with horrible death, so definitely Hengsheng. (Good pic for this sword is confirmed hard to find)

That’s what I was about to do next, I just ate dinner (chicken adobo yum yum), but you beat me to it. ;-; I mean, I’ve listened to it earlier this day twice now. And I love how the entirety of Wangji’s chara song from beginning to end was like, “I love you, I adore you, I fancy you, aishiteru, te amo. Please stop being an idiot and spare me a glance. Take responsibility of this unfulfilled love.” Literally all heart-melting versions of ily’s lol.

Favourite character: Jiang Cheng
This might actually come as a surprise to some people because I have been fangirling over Xue Yang a lot recently (he’s my favourite villain in the Untamed series and my second overall favourite character tied with Wei Wuxian). However, Jiang Cheng holds the top spot as my favourite character. He’s one of the most complex and human characters in the series and I feel like he gets a lot of unwarranted hate, but I can’t tell people how to feel. I also HATE how some people tend to downplay his sacrifice for Wei Wuxian and I have gotten in a heated argument with someone over that (on Facebook though, not here). I just love him and want to give him a hug. Wang Zhou Cheng did an amazing job portraying this character.
Now for good measure because I love this man as well, allow me to bless your eyes with a gif of Xue Yang (don’t you just adore this menace to society)

I really have no words to describe this friendship, but it serves as a reminder of how pure and good things were. Wei Wuxian and Wen Qing’s friendship is right up there with my favourite too.

I was rooting for these two. I really was. However, because of the last name our good doctor above bears, that relationship was doomed from start. Wen Qing is the only other character I ship with Jiang Cheng besides Lan Xichen (and my OC lol).
Favourite Sect: Yunmeng Jiang
I definitely wouldn’t mind being a disciple of this sect. I would probably get in a lot of trouble though because I would be right there with Wei Wuxian ragging on Jiang Cheng 😂😂😂

look. it makes no sense. Jin sect is objectively a mess. JGS sucks. JGY is crazy. They hoard all the gold. But they have some good food and some great aesthetics. and I love Jin Ling, Jin Zixuan, and Mianmian so like… maybe i like an alternate version of Jin where JZX gets to be sect leader instead of dying.

The thing I love most about mdzs is the depth of each character. How can I choose between my children?? Uhh, my husband, Nie Huaisang! I find myself almost solely watching him when he’s onscreen for his little expressions of mischief.
My favorite friendship? Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi. Do I need to explain? It’s a-Yuan! And Jingyi just looks like he’s having so much fun.
Wangxian is pretty much the only ship I read. They aren’t the only ones I ship, but they give me life!
Yunmeng Jiang. Call me basic, but if I were a cultivator, that’s the sect I’d like to be trained in.
Suibian! It’s design is sooo pretty in The Untamed! The bark-like exterior, the slim blade, the red line down the center. It’s gorgeous!
