Hello.....if you don't mind me asking, who are your favorite romantic relationship's couples in books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series (can be canon or non-canon)? Why you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks...
ooo this is such a great question anon! thanks for asking, bud, i've never got this before! Since this question was sent to my animanga blog, i'm going to just answer about couples in fandoms i rb on here!
Even though it seems like I go hard for non-canon couples (which believe me I do), there are so many canon couples that I actually love with my entire heart:
hak/yona (akatsuki no yona)
even though i still have to catch up to this manga, this couple has owned my heart since the moment they appeared on page. they are the definition of a true power couple who will go to the ends of the world to save one another. they throw themselves into danger just so the other can have the chance of safety. they've got one another's back through everything and anything. they will yell at one another but hold hands together side by side as they stand staring down their enemies. i just love how hak inspires yona to stand on her own and yona inspires hak to see the value in himself.
sakura/syaoran (cardcaptor sakura)
they're one of my top three childhood couples. they are just adorable and precious and they deserve only good things ever. they are just children who don't deserve to shoulder so much on their shoulders and yet they do it with minimal complaining. they are there for one another, especially through the hardest moments. he's her pillar and she's his heart. also they jumpstarted my pink x green shipping and i will always love them so much.
inuyasha/kagome (inuyasha)
they are also one of my top three childhood couples. they are everything. inuyasha sees the strength in kagome's compassion when she doesn't see it herself and kagome sees the softness in inuyasha's toughness that he doesn't let others see. they are one of the it couples. they fight, push one another to the edge, and bring one another back without another word. inuyasha's unwavering belief in kagome allows her to grow into a fucking warrior of a girl because his strength keeps her going and growing. kagome accepts all of inuyasha, which is huge for him because he's been accepted by neither world because he's never been enough for either world. but there comes kagome, not giving a shit about the worlds beliefs and going with what she believes in and that's him. it's beautiful.
lan wangji/wei wuxian (mo dao zu shi)
i'm going to cheat here because i haven't finished watching the anime but i have read the novel and watched the live-action show. i have been shipping them ever since i watched the show first because anyone who knows me knows that i love the red x blue ship aesthetic. i love how they went from strangers to friends to enemies (but not really) to lovers. it's a classic trope and i will always love it. the fact that lwj recognized wwx when he came back?? that's true love. lwj is there to support wwx when he doesn't want anyone to see him falling and wwx is there to break down lwj's world, to show that there's more to the world than just blindly following rules. the fact that they went from star-crossed lovers to being married is just the best thing ever. they are filled with all the angst AND they get their happy ending.
On to my non-canon couples (they are kept alive in my heart thanks to ao3):
dabihawks (boku no hero academia)
i will say that i have dropped bnha for now (unless two characters die, in which case i'll definitely pick it back up) but that being said, the fact that dabi grew up the child of a hero and turned to villainy while hawks grew up the child of a criminal and turned to heroism? this shit is so poetic. they are parallel lines moving in the opposite direction, ships in the night, opposites attract in such a hellish way. not only is their aesthetic red vs. blue but it's also angel vs. devil - the hero with the wings bathed in the colour of blood vs. the villain with the flames bathed in the colour of the sky. they've got an apollo/icarus vibe that i love so much. there's so much mutual destruction and they had so much potential to be even more insane than they already are.
soukoku (bungou stray dogs)
they are probably my otp of otp's right now, the ones that really kicked the whole red/blue shipping out of control for me. they are idiotic strangers to idiotic frenemies to idiotic enemies to idiotic partners forever. it's so poetic to me that dazai's ability is named no longer human and yet he's the one to bring back chuuya's humanity to him. i just really love that chuuya, who feels so brutally human so much of the time, hosts a god of calamity and can only be brought back to himself by dazai's touch. like point me to a better lvoe story than that? you can't because they are the epitome of catastrophic love. they don't judge one another's actions because they understand one another better than anyone else can. they are each other's weakness and each other's strength. they will destroy one another before anyone else can get the chance.

thinking about how i really want to play my tlt characters, and i think it’d be easier to dip my toes back into writing if i could play the newer muses i’m excited about, but the tlt rp fandom on tumblr is tiny, and then i realized — they’re literally necromancers. there’s gotta be a way to overlap that with mdzsverse—

i’m gonna make you think about my ship :D come up with some body-part-canons for... ningxuan!
Headcanon: Look, friend, as far as I can tell, apart from that time Wen Ning put a hand through Jin Zixuan's chest, they had zero interaction in canon. What can I make a cogent argument for wrt what would make sense for them? Not much, I'm sorry to say. For CQL canon, however, the moment of Jin Zixuan's death is extra heartbreaking if he and Wen Ning managed to interact during the Guest Lectures at the Cloud Recesses. Assuming (and this is a big assumption) that a) Jin Zixuan manages to unbend long enough to interact with people outside his sect and b) Wen Ning doesn't actually die of shyness the first time JZX speaks with him, I do think their friendship has the same attraction that the much more often discussed JZX and LWJ friendship does, to wit: look at these awkward young masters who are bad at socializing, what if they wallflowered together?
Heartcanon: Ok now that we've got that finicky head stuff out of the way! In a world where Jin Zixuan stumbles on Wen Ning doing archery (whether CQLverse in Gusu or MDZSverse in Qishan), it may be that he forgets his awkwardness in the opportunity to nerd out about this skill they share, & I think that's very cute. (Wen Ning may be a more interested recipient of Jin Zixuan's infodumping about his special interest: monsters you can night hunt)
Gutcanon: In a canonverse AU where Jin Zixuan has a guilty crush on Wen Ning & all the baggage around his father's behavior, it would take Jiang Yanli facilitating to make anything happen between them, and by god she would make it happen.
Junkcanon: Look, that one Sentinel AU fic lives rent free in my head, so there's that. Oh a personal note, I think that they would be unbearably gentle with each other in bed, just lots of long, slow kisses and tender lovemaking.
Spleencanon: I hereby ignore canon, declare Jin Zixuan alive, and make him a primary mover of the push to reintegrate the Wens into cultivation society after Sunshot, a) because getting WWX out of the Burial Mounds would make Yanli happy and b) because Wen Ning somehow broke free of necromantic control entirely to save Jin Zixuan's life, and Jin Zixuan is Suddenly Interested (this of course exists in the same AU as my gutcanon)

I am really new to your blog and I have checked out some of your fics To Speak UP my favorite. I thought it was wonderfully well done the way you wrote and accurately characterizes how they work from the novel. Do you by any chance have something similar I could read? I'm a person who gets bored quickly preferably mdzsverse not untamed. IDK? The only fics I've loved from this fandom we're Teen Project to Change the World, WWX does not exist highly recommend those two above. I heard something about Resilience what that? Is that new fic you are making?
I'm not the right person to ask for fic recs just yet. Until very recently, I hadn't formed a concrete opinion on the characters and read just about anything lol. I think some of the fics I bookmarked would be unbearable to read now.
Maybe I'll start sharing the fics I like now and what I like about them somewhere down the line (would that be something people would like?). But unfortunately, I can't offer good recs currently aside from the few I've already mentioned. I haven't read anything similar to To Speak Up yet. Keep an eye on the replies for this ask? Maybe someone may offer recommendations.
I would also recommend checking out fic rec blogs like wangxianficrecs, wangxianfics, and weilanfics?
Resilience. is one of the first fics I wrote for this fandom. It is a time-travel AU. It is already up and is a oneshot. You can read it here.

Have you said before who the third MDZSverse Spark is?
oh, probably, but who knows. The only three real sparks in this world are Wei Wuxian (obviously), Xue Yang (also obviously, but less strong), and Wen Qing (biology/spiritual specialty).
Though it WAS occurring to me the other day that maybe the way to make this all actually interesting as a Girl Genius au, rather than just the exact same plot but mad science, is to say more of the characters are sparks. Obviously those three must still be viewed as above and beyond, on account of genuine inclination to be like, “okay I know this problem in impossible BUT what if I solved it by inventing a completely novel function of our magic system.”
Hm, maybe Wen Zhuliu is also a spark. Not a particularly strong one, or he’d be less content with subservience, but highly specialized.

if youre still doing the kiss ask game, song lan/jiang cheng? with the prompt 'to hate separation.' thank you! ♡
(MDZSverse)
"I was in shock still, and I said such awful things... So I'm looking for him now, to apologise. To say: traveling with you is better than traveling without you."
He's so young, Jiang Cheng thinks, looking at the rogue cultivator in the firelight, as young as Jiang Cheng had been when his own great friendship had ended in blood and tears.
"I hope you find him," he says aloud, because someone in this godforsaken jianghu deserves a measure of happiness.
When Jiang Cheng finishes banking the fire for the night, he finds that Song Zichen has laid out his bedroll next to his. Jiang Cheng raises his eyebrows in silent question, and the normally stoic man looks diffident for the first time. "I don't—" he says quietly. "I— Being alone right now..."
Jiang Cheng finds himself smiling wryly—What kind of person under heaven could find Sandu Shengshou a comforting presence? This young Daoist with his clear brown eyes and his horsetail whisk and his ideals and his broken heart, apparently. He takes off his outer robe, sinks down onto his bedroll, and opens his arms. "Come here, then."
Jiang Cheng watches Song Zichen prepare for bed; there seems to be an order to it, but not one he can follow. When he's done, he lies down carefully and eases into Jiang Cheng's arms, releasing a sigh as his head comes to rest in the hollow of Jiang Cheng's neck. Jiang Cheng feels strangely unmoored—the last time he'd slept with anyone in his arms was when Jin Ling had nightmares and crawled into his bed just a few months ago; before that... During the war he and Wei Wuxian had slept back to back some nights, but this kind of closeness? No, not since Lotus Pier burned. His arms tighten involuntarily around Song Zichen, who murmurs some kind of sleepy question. Jiang Cheng buries his face in the other man's hair and presses a kiss to the crown of his head, right on his bǎi huì acupoint. "Good night," he says, and endeavors to find some rest, as well. It's easier than he expects.
