Tom’s just a bit faster than Furia.

When the sword swung down, he had already been pulling Capsize by her coat closer to him. Whether she’d been drunk, sick, or hungover doesn’t stop her from readying her cutlass and lashing out, Tom follows with his own weapon.

In this hallway, every swing follows through with a hit on Furia, problem is the hallway isn’t wide enough for a fight. They end up injuring each other just as much. Low on health, Furia vanishes and Tom is left wondering what the fuck they’re gonna do now.

“That is not my problem.” They’d gone to Ianeria on Tom’s ship, for Furia had sunken Capsize’s new motorboat and with Jordan’s own currently stuck in a glass bottle, it’d been up to them to convince him to use it. He found it hard to say no. Especially, when Capsize had sworn to help him with Dianite.

“My co-captain is right. It be your problem.” Her heartbeat gets quicker, she doesn’t know what outcome her words will bring, but regardless, she continues. “Furia killing your brother won’t solve anything, just make it all so much worse.”

Everyone goes silent. Ianite looks on at Capsize, shocked. Whether it is at the disagreement in general or her select choice of words, she doesn’t know. Of course, the silence doesn’t last long. There’s a sharp gasp and a
