The good side of being on antidepressor: I have ENERGY! I don't need days to recover from a hard moment! I can't tackle on a lot more on any given day!!! I want to work on everything I'm pointing to my therapist and my brain isn't stopping me!!!!!!

The bad side of being on antidepressor: seizing on that ENERGY! to tackle on a lot at once and remembering suddenly how good you are at stirring up little things (I can't remember any English to say "tempête dans un verre d'eau" but it's clearly the best descriptor for that). And, well. I'm still human and I still need to sleep 😑

Like my life would be so much easier if I could read a book or an article titled “how to fight the lonely” or “Always being chased? Maybe it’s time to face your childhood trauma”. It would be so much easier if I could categorize and analyze the human experience and specifically my own internal problems as if they were evil entities trying to eat me. I’ve never been so annoyed to be a fandom brat living at home for necessity reasons. The more I learn about judaism the more I wonder where tf christianity got all its bad shit. Why is divorce a sin in christianity when judaism has recognized the right to divorce for nearly a millennia and has codified religious laws for it. Why does christianity consider sex to be dirty (to the point where puritans considered it a sin to enjoy having sex with your own spouse) when in judaism it's considered holy and it's a literal mitzvah to have sex with your spouse on the sabbath. Why does christianity consider it a sign that you're faithless if you question your religion when in judaism that's considered an essential part to developing your faith. I'm probably stating the obvious here but I still can't get over the fact that there's no historical basis to any of this shit before christianity started, it's like christians just said "hey guys what if we took the torah and built a new religion around it but this time it was actively hostile to human life"

#rambling #disclaimer this isnt about individual christians im speaking about the religious trauma i experienced in my own life etc etc #these are just a few examples that I've noticed but they're definitely something #the part about sex in particular shocked me bc sex is pretty much viewed as actively evil in a lot of christian denominations #like you should only do it to create children and if you take pleasure in it (even if its with your own spouse) youre a dirty sinner #there arent as many examples like this nowadays but if you read puritan laws about sex it's like #you're allowed to have sex with your wife basically 10 times a year but you have to be fully clothed with the lights off #and you cant have sex on a holiday or a sunday and you cant touch each other and you have to try as hard as possible to hate it #literally WHERE did that mindset come from?? like for real #in judaism having sex with your spouse is basically considered a celebration of everything holy #and if you have sex on the sabbath (the holiest day in the jewish calendar—above every holiday) #its considered TWICE as holy #make it make sense #this is one of the things people mean when they say that lumping judaism in with christianity as 'abrahamic' religions is meaningless #theyre literally nothing alike #the only similarity is the torah but thats only half of the christian bible and one third of the jewish one #AND christianity interprets most of it completely differently from how judaism does #im tired #greatest hits #hall of fame

I have kinda fallen off, not that I stopped drawing(just not as much). I did set a fun goal for my self, that goal is to make a fur suit head by the end of the year so at some point hopefully soon I will be putting updates here.

 Other than that I am wondering what do people do about the porn bot problem? block them ignore them what? Because I have shut off my notification for flowers as I am being followed by the bots like three per day.

i think outsourcing the development of the black and white remakes would be the right call. they should still bring in some first party writers but i think the primary focus should be with whatever's coming next. i don't think the next mainline game should come out in 2 or 3 years. i'd personally recommend at least 5. either that or double the dev team.

that said, i'm hoping the gen 5 remakes are a good bit in the future, and get the oras treatment instead of the bdsp treatment. i'd probably support it anyway for nostalgia and fairy typings but i would absolutely tear it to shreds if it was just a glorified rom hack. gen 5 was my intro to pokémon, followed by gen 4, though i connected less with it.

plus, if they make another legends game, rather than splitting the team again i think it'd be best to again, hire more people, or work on things one at a time.

This weekend, I will be following in the footsteps of a mentor of mine and doing a Big Thing he happened to dislike doing. I don't know how to explain it without context. I really miss having him around. I learned a lot from him, and then he took off for somewhere else and left me in charge of the place, like he thought I knew what I was doing or something. And of all the ways I try very hard to be like him, I think he'd find it funny that this is the Thing that I am doing.

Alright, was Marie Atonette a bitch or was that something the French Revolutionaries made up?

Marie Antoinette was an out of touch aristocratic rich girl, who had the bad luck to be queen of France during one of the worst periods of economic inequality the country ever faced. Her biggest crimes were marrying a supremely incompetent and unpopular king, and wearing fancy, expensive dresses at lavish parties when the peasants were being taxed into starvation.

Everything else? The Jacobins and the rest of the revolutionary mob slandered her to justify killing her. They had already decided the king and queen had to die, as they were symbols of the oppressive monarchy the Revolution overthrew, but they needed to make it look good to the population.

You have to remember - the peasantry and lower classes of France were legitimately suffering and oppressed, both economically and legally. But the Jacobins were bloodthirsty maniacs, led by a man who was called "The Incorruptible" because his fanaticism was unwavering.

So, was Marie Antoinette a good person? Who knows. She was incredibly privileged in a time when many had nothing. She was hated by many. She was vilified by the propaganda machine of one of the most fanatically violent revolutionary parties in human history. She was demonstrably out of touch. She was obviously in over her head.

Her last words were to apologize to the the executioner for accidentally stepping on his foot as she climbed into the guillotine.

I think mizu has a soft spot for kids. she thinks they're irritating so it's not to say she loves them, cause she doesnt. she just.. tolerates them with affection. but she absolutely would not have kids of her own for the sake of not putting another child in her situation, and not bringing another half breed like her into the world. so she'd never consider having kids, even after she's gotten over all the trauma from her life (if that would ever even happen) because she doesn't want to see someone go through the same as her. but I like to think that sometimes, very rarely, she'll allow herself to observe the village kids playing with each other, and she'll let herself relax for a moment. because they get the childhood she didn't. perhaps they'll offer her a spot in the game, and after some serious persuasion in her head, she'll join them, admiring how they're some of the few people who aren't afraid of her. or maybe she'll see a kid being bullied, and she'll stick up for them. she'll do whatever to make sure the kids she comes across can at least live decently, because gods forbid any of them end up like her.

i think ppl who are super online or into fandom should watch/read/etc something without ever touching fandom discourse or making aus or shipping characters just like every once in a while
