Who are we?
Hey! Our name is MeatRelease, and we are here to help you cut down on your meat consumption, and save our animals! But how would we do that in the first place? 1.Start to create your own meal plans for the week. 2.Learn new veggie themed recipes! 3.Start to opt for other sources of protein, like eggs! 4.Use meat alternatives, or "fake meat" 5.Slowly change your portion ratios, adding less meat and more of your other ingredients. Fun fact: Cutting meat out not only helps our animals, but yourself too! Eating less meat has been found to reduce risk of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease and more! Rainbow Buddha Bowl:** Ingredients: - Cooked quinoa or brown rice - Assorted colorful vegetables (such as bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, avocado, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, and radishes) - Cooked chickpeas or tofu for protein - Fresh herbs (such as cilantro, parsley, or basil) - Tahini or your favorite dressing Instructions: 1. Cook quinoa or brown rice according to package instructions and set aside. 2. Chop assorted colorful vegetables into bite-sized pieces. 3. In a bowl, arrange cooked quinoa or brown rice, chopped vegetables, cooked chickpeas or tofu, and fresh herbs. 4. Drizzle with tahini or your favorite dressing. 5. Serve and enjoy your rainbow Buddha bowl!

Quattro Formaggi Mac and Cheese 🧀 Massor av ost och grädde blandat med pasta som tog oss till himmelriket 🤩 Amerikanska National Cheese Lovers Day var i lördags och då handlade vi lite goda ostar hos @osthyveln_ på @kville_saluhall👌 Och idag blev det comfort food som vilken läkare som helst skulle avråda från 😃 En krämig och moffig Mac'n'Cheese fast mer åt det italienska hållet än det amerikanska... Sweet and sour celery salad Firstly, I don’t really like celery and I don’t think I’m alone in this. It seems that Ixta is well aware of the public’s general disdain for this particular vegetable as the headnote reads ‘if you’re thinking of giving this salad a miss, think again’. A bold statement that I 100% stand behind! The only adjustment I made was to use chopped cashews instead of pine nuts, prices are going up and I can’t afford such luxuries anymore 😄💸 One last thing - I noticed all the recipes call for X twists of freshly ground pepper. I’m calling for an international ban on ‘1 tsp of freshly ground pepper’ in all cook books! Vegan Choc Chip Cookies
**Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies:** Ingredients: - 1/2 cup vegan butter or coconut oil, softened - 1/2 cup brown sugar - 1/4 cup granulated sugar - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a large bowl, cream together softened vegan butter or coconut oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. 4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined. 5. Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough. 6. Snabb pasta pesto 🌿 En vegetarisk favorit som denna gång blev med en köpepesto som jag piffade upp med sjöpungsfond, schalottenlök, vitlök, vitt vin och parmesan 👌 Men att göra egen pesto tar verkligen ingen tid alls. Och du behöver inte göra en klassisk pesto genovese med basilika och pinjenötter... Testa med mandel, valnötter eller hasselnötter istället för pinjenötter. Och med ärtor, primörer eller min favorit, ramslök istället för basilikan!
