ch.158 naver!
GOD LISTENED TO MY PRAYERS I STARTED HYPERVENTILATING OUT OF PURE DELIGHT OMG LITERALLY SQUEALED SCREAMED KICKED MY FEET GIGGLED AND ROLLED ON MY BED BACK AND FORTH THIS IS SOOO CUTE IT'S BEEN SO LONG☹️☹️☹️
Medea is kinda foul for this bc why did she handpicked a RED rose to hint a call for a meeting when she could've used ANYTHING else???...I'd like to say I'm being delusional but this one is very VERY interesting🕵♀️🔍🥸...omg just imagine Medea entering Psyche's prayer room with a rose in hand and leaving it on top of her bible and then Psyche being surprised by it and immediately realizing it was from Medea😞😞I will turn this into a whole romantic context NO ONE CAN STOP ME.
me when I give my bff a red rose so we meet secretly and quietly at a flower shop just to act smug in front of her and tell her to take care of herself 🩷

Some people really see official art like this and say, ‘I don’t understand why people ship Medea and Psyche romantically. They just seem like close female friends to me.’

Medea Solon could totally be a male lead in a webtoon.
Actually. Medea Solon is what every male lead wishes he could be.
She is actually evil and ruthless.
In a lot of these stories the male lead is just rumored to be a killer with no morals, while in actuality he is just a tsundere. With Medea that doesn't happen, since we can actually witness her numerous murders.
She is actually conniving and smart.
Often the male lead is regarded as this tactical and strategic genius, but... we don't actually see him do the smarties. We know that Medea is an actual smartass tho, since the entire plot of the story is about her making these super complicated 354-steps-plans.
Most male leads couldn't do the trial arc, while she could resolve all of their pathetic ass wars in two days (and she actually already did.)
She's mad rich.
Which we know is necessary to be even a part of these stories.
She would NEVER treat her fl like other ml treat theirs. No
Shut up. She's an icon. She treated Psyche badly because she felt betrayed.
She would communicate openly, be sweet with her AND NEVER BE AN ASSHOLE LIKE A TYPICAL MALE LEAD.
She's hot.
Case in point:
...yeah
Last but not least: tragic backstory
All male leads MUST have a tragic backstory to make us understand why they do such horrible things. Medea even has a well written one, so.
In conclusion, your honor, Medea should be able to do all kinds of male lead stuff with Psyche, including but not limited to: buying her stuff, being jealous, appearing behind her to protect her, teasing her, dancing with her and sparring with her.

Whenever I see a random image of either Medea or Psyche wearing an outfit that’s mainly/all white I automatically assume that the author dropped a sneak peek at a future wedding episode. This has become a habit of mine.

"I don't believe in a god who does nothing but watch from afar. I believe in that stupid girl."
ISTG THIS LINE HAS ME AT A CHOKEHOLD
Like it's not even particularly emphasized and it really wasnt the highlight of the chapter, but it's just so meaningful to me. That line was what really encompassed (to me) Medea, Psyche, and their relationship at the beginning.
Medea not believing in God despite standing right before them. She was raised harshly, God never gave her answers nor shone their light on her, she found them herself and forged her own path.
But when she called God someone that only watches from afar, I think she was also talking about Psyche. After all, she saw how God didn't save Psyche, even if she was supposed to be their chosen one and beloved.
And "I believe in that stupid girl"?? To Medea, Psyche's character, her kindness and pureness, are objectively weak. As a Solon, she was raised in an environment where kindness isn't something she could afford. Being pure is naivety, which is also a weakness.
Not to mention that it's not just Medea that saw kindness as a weakness, it was their world's "objective truth." They (Eros and co) used it to exploit and manipulate her. Yet Medea recognized that with Psyche, kindness wasn't just a weakness, it was her strength. It made people want to believe in her; it made Medea want to believe in her.
But also, the inherent deepness of their bond? Idk? gayness? homoeroticism? of rejecting a god and believing in Psyche instead when she herself knows it's stupid?
