This is nirikins, was around a lot in the party days. Henri didn’t actually punch him, he shoved him out the way (now that I look it up again!). They h8ed him bc he always knew where they were. Then when Twitter came along he “worked with” fan accounts to send him tips of their location.
He’s got beef with willy bc willy APPARENTLY convinced k8 and the middletons to legally complain that he’d was harassing them for taking pics of them. Willy also h8s him bc he used to follow George around like a total creepo. They threatened legal action then too. He kinda stopped following the royals after that.
Anyway he used to say on Twitter that he’d write a juicy book one day bc he has so much tea.
Related note, his photog employee Jesal was the one to break the news that k8 was about to give birth to George bc they were staking out the hospital
OH and he had beef with me too bc my url was his name once and he h8ed it lmao. Called me a sad twat IIRC which was my header for some time. Him and Jesal deleted all their tweets after the George thing so I can’t go back.

While it’s important to acknowledge #WorldPressFreedomDay, I also think it’s important to recognise that having access to the correct information can be lifesaving. With people like Icke and Trump promoting potentially life-threatening health misinformation, it is important to recognise press freedom and free speech should not extend to spreading dangerous advice such as this. I completely agree with the decision to take him off Facebook: there is no reasoning with this man, no persuading him he is wrong. The more opportunity he is given the spread his harmful misinformation, the more people are going to die as a direct result.

देश भक्त या अंधभक्त ??
सेना जनता की चुनी सरकार पर हावी न हो, पाकिस्तान जैसा माहौल न बन जाये उसके लिए हमारे यंहा देश की तीनों सेनाओ के प्रमुख को कभी बिना राष्ट्रपति के उपस्तिथि असवैधानिक था। वो लोग आपस मे कभी बात नही कर सकते थे । इनका एक प्रमुख बना कर हमने अपने स्वछंदता पर सवालिया निशान लगा दिया है ।
दूसरी बात, पहली बार इतिहास में ऐसा हुआ कि इतने ऐतिहासिक फैसले न्यायलय द्वारा हुआ, और चीफ जस्टिस पर किसी लड़की ने सेक्सुअल हरासमेंट का मामला दर्ज किया लेकिन ऐसा शायद ही कही हुआ हो कि आरोपी खुद ही कमिटी गठित कर खुद को निर्दोष करार दे दे । खैर बात इतने तक भी नही रुकी जैसे ही वह जज रिटायर होता है, 6 महीने के अंदर सत्ताधारी पार्टी द्वारा राज्य सभा का मेंबर बना दिया जाता है , जिस जज को इतनी सत्ता में आने की इतनी भूख रही हो और रिटायर होते ही ऑफर स्वीकार कर ले तो क्या इससे ऐसे नही लगता कि न्यायपालिका पर प्रहार है इसको ।।
तीसरा सवाल, मीडिया जिसका काम सत्ता से सवाल पूछना था अगर वह सवाल की जगह सिर्फ महिमामंडल करने लगे और विपक्ष से सवाल पूछे जैसे कि विपक्ष के पास पावर है और ऐसे लोग जो की पत्रकारिता छोड़ कर हर मुद्दे खबर की जगह अपनी राय देने लगे और लोगो को धर्म के नाम पर भड़काते हो इसके बावूजद जब देश के प्रधानमंत्री उनके प्रोग्राम में जाते हो उनकी तारीफ करते हो तो क्या ये मीडिया जिसे की लोकतंत्र का चौथा खंभा कहा जाता है उस खम्भे को कमजोर करने का प्रयास नही लगता ।
और जो पत्रकार सवाल पूछे उसे चैनल मालिको द्वारा निकलवा दिया जाना और कोई ऐसे पत्रकारों को नौकरी देने से लोग डरे ।। ऐसे पत्रकरो को सरेआम सत्तापक्ष द्वारा धमकी दी जाति हो, लोकतंत्र के हित मे पूछे गए सवालों को देशद्रोही करार दिया जाने लगे तो क्या यह उस सरकार पर सवाल नही खड़ा करता जो कि स्वयं लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से सत्ता में आई हो और उसी के स्तम्भो पर हमला कर रही हो ।।
मैं इस सरकार का विरोधी नही, मेरे पिछले पांच साल के पोस्ट से आप देख सकते है ।। ना मुझे विपक्ष में भरोसा है, अगर आज देश मे सही विपक्ष होता तो शायद जितना कुछ मैन ऊपर लिखा वो होता देखता नही रहता। और शायद मुझे बोलने की जरूरत भी नही पड़ती ।
मुझे लोकतंत्र से बहुत प्यार है , आज़ादी की हवा में सांस लेने की आदत हो गयी है तब कोई इसपर हमला करता है तो बोलना पड़ा।। आप स्वतंत्र है मुझ पर टिप्पड़ी करने की लिए लेकिन मुझ पर टिप्पड़ी करना इन सवालों की जगह इस बात का ही प्रमाण होगा कि आप भक्त हो गए है और आपको भी सवाल उचित लगते है ।। उसी अवस्था मे आप भक्त होने के बावजूद जबाब न होने के अभाव में ऐसी बात कर रहे है ।।
क्योकि मैं तो सैकड़ो पोस्ट कांग्रेस के समय मे उसके नाकामियो पर भी किया हूँ ।। लेकिन उस समय मैं सरकार से सवाल पूछ कर ही देशभक्त था ।
आपको ये तय करना है कि भक्त देश का बनना है या व्यक्ति और पार्टी का । देश यानी यंहा के लोग और यंहा का लोकतंत्र ।।

Osinbajo challenges media practitioners on fake news
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has urged media practitioners to address the issue of fake news and provocative information.
Osinbajo, who made the call when he hosted media practitioners to a special appreciation dinner on Thursday in Abuja, also pledged improved engagement with them.
The vice president said the advent of social media had made the issue of fake news complex, noting that “fake news or provocative information can cause chaos, civil unrest, war or even death.”
“I think all of us in the media, social media, print, TV, all of us, should begin to do something serious about fake news before it begins to consume us, ” he said.
He called on media practitioners to be curious about fact checking and do simple but thorough investigation over any contentious issue for the public to know the truth.
Osinbajo said that the lies about President Muhammadu Buhari’s certificate went far and deep because no one bothered to unravel the truth early until it got to the court.
“Just take the allegation of Mr President’s certificate for example, someone said Mr President did not have a certificate but Mr President said he sat for and obtained his West African School Certificate in 1961 at the Kastina College.
“The examination body then was Cambridge University, the same Cambridge University we know. I expect any media organisation to do a simple investigation to establish whether it is true or not.
“But nobody did it, and the matter went to court,” he said.
He said that there was also a time a WAEC official was asked about the certificate on television and he said he was not the one that signed it.
“And the television said that the WAEC official denied Buhari’s certificate, which is false, completely false.
“It sounds funny because the WAEC official only knows about WAEC certificate, but this is a West African School Certificate by Cambridge University.
“But because nobody bothered to find out, the public believed the lies for so long.
“So with the increase of social media and anonymity every day the problems of the free media are becoming more and more complex and even more dangerous,” he said.
The vice president, who also solicited for greater support from the media, pledged to improve engagement with them.
He said that one of the books he co-authored as a law lecturer was Media Law in Nigeria.
“I am a believer in the freedom of the press, whether it a responsible press or irresponsible. I just believe in the freedom of the press.
“Every morning, I receive a summary from most of the newspapers; I also receive trending news from social media from my media assistant.
“Added to that, I also receive a special pack that contains latest news, cartoons or insult from the social media,” he said.
He said that atimes, some of the cartoons or social media comments were very insulting and provocative but they never bothered him because of his belief in press freedom.
The dinner brought together the leadership of the National Assembly, governors, ministers, heads of government agencies and presidential aides.
