you know, the thing about instagram aside from it basically being hell is it puts way too much weight on one image to create a feeling. maybe that's why it never feels like anything.

yes, I know they do carousel posts but that possibly makes it worse. one image must be enticing enough to make you want to flip through a bunch of them. it's inverted. the collection of images should give you a feeling and then if you want to go deeper, you can.

also instagram is garbage. but you knew that.

I finally picked up a lens that really matches my eye and how I want things to look. Three years into medium format I've been fighting against my unique lens needs vs fuji's limited lens lineup for medium format.

I'm so excited about the coming year -- even though the world is falling apart-- to make some pictures. to see what the world looks like.
