Marvel headcanons that I have
Pietro likes to watch professional wrestling, like AEW and WWE. Tony actually got him tickets to Wrestlemania once and Pietro had a BLAST
Bucky can cook because he had to take care of pre-serum Steve
Wanda likes to knit
Loki paints his nails. Thor will sometimes get Loki to paint his, and he loves it
Peter once bought the Avengers Tower Lego set and told Steve that he was too old to build it. Tony was a proud dad
Basically Wanda, Sam, Yelena, Bucky, and Clint can cook
Tony can only make Italian food and that's it
One time Vision got in the kitchen, and he almost burned it down
Pietro says "meep meep" when he runs
Natasha can fight in heels
Yelena is jealous of that ⏫
Kate is VERY ticklish and Yelena loves to tickle her
Tony and Peter built a robotic arm for Tony. Because Tony's arm had to be cut off.
Bucky and Tony get along ok and swap stories about Peter and Steve being stupid
Natasha and Yelena love watching Disney movies. But not the ones before 1960. They freak the sisters out
One time, someone put on Once upon a Time and Bucky freaked out when he watched the Mad Hatter episodes. Steve and him did LOADS of research about S. Stan
Yelena likes to write short stories and only shows them to Natasha
Alexei and Melina visited Natasha and Yelena, of course, Alexei challenged Steve to a match. Alexei actually won because he sweated so much, Steve slipped
Sam and Bucky have a "get along tee shirt". They hate it
Shuri made light sabers when she was 11 and brought them to the compound one time when visiting with T'Challa. She and Peter had a battle and T'Challa was like, "Sister, I told you not to bring them."
Bucky is a science nerd and LOVES sci-fi and Disney.
Steve and Bucky once asked Tony where the flying cars were.
Clint has fell from the vents 117 times. Natasha has kept track
The team has matching pjs of themselves and they wear them during movie nights
Peter has a swear jar and the people that have lost the most money are Tony and Natasha
Morgan once dressed up as Tony for Halloween.
America, Kate, Yelena, Peter, and Shuri once summoned a ghost and Kate was throwing salt everywhere and they had to go get Strange and Wanda to help
Bucky, Peter, and Steve have noise-cancelling headphones because they get over-simulated pretty easily
If Steve gets married, his wife would get him a ring made of vibranium
Loki once caught Thor and Bruce "doing it" and the image is scarred in his brain for life

If you had to put together a Full Party out of your own WoL and Tumblr mutuals' OCs and WoLs, who would you summon?
Ohhhhh now I LOVE this idea!!! This is awesome and I’m so glad you asked me this anon!!
For those that might not be in the know, in Yume’s canon, she’s not the only WoL and there’s multiple WoLs, so this is something I think of often!
Anyways, here’s my list:
Tanks
Dark Knight - @porta-decumana’s Kaida
Gunbreaker - @cassandra-wol’s Cassandra
Warrior - @faerieearthangel’s Rhaena (Backup Tank)
Heals
White Mage - @frostmantle’s Aurelia
Sage - Yume (ME lol!)
Scholar - @meepsthemiqo’s Meeps (she’s currently retired, but before Yume was a Sage, Meeps would be a main healer; also my choice of backup)
White Mage - @transcendentafflatus’s Listelle (Backup Heals)
DPS
Dragoon - @traveler-of-light’s Astrid
Ninja - @faerieearthangel’s Rhaena
Black Mage - @lizzy-of-the-dotharl-tribe’s Lizzy
Bard - @transcendentafflatus’s Listelle
Reaper - @porta-decumana’s Cassius
Dancer - @snow-covered-moon’s Shuri (currently retired as well, but I’ll still list as a backup DPS)
Samurai - Yume (ME; Backup DPS and from 2.0-6.0, Yume would be a DPS main)
I have a ton of other options that I didn’t list here because a lot of my friends’ WoLs have multiple WoLs and multiple jobs and there’s a bunch of combinations that could also work, but you get the idea already.
Thank you so much for the ask anon!!! 🥰💖

What Creaks Beneath
Allagan Krakens
Tumblr media
Splintered off from @meepsthemiqo and @snow-covered-moon
If only they had known what lurked below.
It was meant to be a wonderfully calm trip, something to take ease and be able to go without the strain of muscles. Shuri had proposed it and it was a wonderful idea, but G’raha had become slightly skittish around some in Angelique’s friend group after all the events that had occurred in the First. Angelique really hoped that this submersible trip with all of them in close quarters was a chance to get everyone on some kind of even ground especially with the news that she had been keeping under her hat for a little bit.
G’raha and Angelique had taken time to go to the bridge of the submarine to look at the expanse of ocean and shared smiles of the brightly colored fish with the occasional cephalopod. The red haired Miqo’te had pulled out a journal he had started to take along with him, writing on the pages with a pen Angelique had gifted to him, a feather that was sleek and white but tipped with a very faint tinge of green. It was almost too beautiful to use, but as the bard is often fond of making mention of, she wouldn’t purchase anything if it wasn’t meant to be used in some way shape or form.
However, they eventually had reconvened to a corridor with a portside window to look out on, Angelique was absently fiddling with a necklace that she had pulled from the depths of her shirt, fingers tracing along the blue circular surface to the tiny flowers formed on it. G’raha looked up as he had placed the journal into a waterproof casing in case any leaks were to happen and leaned his shoulder against the wall, as well as his head resting against the cool metal. His gaze however, solely focused on her. “Are you feeling ready to tell them?” he asked, voice slightly quiet but enough to bring the bard from her stare into some far off distance.
“I don’t know yet.” she sighed softly, “After everything, and I mean everything, it sometimes feels like there’s just this distance.” Angelique’s green eyes glanced down the hallway where the cabins were and looked down again. “I would just like it to feel like a happy occasion, but part of me often worries about the tension that would hang in the air. It really does scare me to tell them sometimes.”
“If I know anything, despite all that’s happened, I trust they would at least be happy for you.” The sunseeker gave a slight chuckle and reached over to take hold of her hand and gave it a small squeeze. “And above all, I want you to be happy about this.” His other hand reached over to lightly rest against the side of her head and his thumb brushed against the crease that was forming on her brow. “Don’t stress too hard right now.” G’raha smiled, and it was infectious since it did get Angelique to smile too.
For now this was supposed to be a simple and fun journey with no danger for them.
Except it seemed that danger would always follow those that often wanted to get away from it. Red allagan eyes looked out the window and a prickle rose up onto the back of his neck as something dark streaked past the sub, at first thinking it was nothing, but something was throwing him off and it was the faint fluorescent shade of blue that had not been seen during this time since they’ve been below the surface of the waves. The mere sight kicked in an instinct that was roiling at the pit of his stomach.
“I’ll be back. There’s something that I have to do.” G’raha had told Angelique and before he could offer anymore except a warning to stay away from the windows before his hand slipped from hers in his rush.
“Raha, wait! What has you in such a state?!” she called to him and groaned slightly to herself, but a clamour had started to form and Angelique frowned, starting to head into the hallway. At first she had intended to return back to their cabin, there might have been something simply wrong and an error was being corrected. But there was a wild lurch from the submarine as something had collided with it and hard, and for a faint moment of weightlessness, pain at the back of her head before nothing but black after a faint vision of red. Only the faint echoes of alarms, panicked screams, shouts, becoming nothing more than a fading cacophony.
-o-o-
There was something to say about luck when Angelique finally came around, every ilm soaked thoroughly with salty water, making everything feel heavy and sluggish as her clothes clung tightly to her skin. The necklace around her scraped along a smooth metallic ground as she hauled herself up, staring around a little bit. Everything was a blur and she could barely remember what just happened. However, when things started to become a little bit more steady, Angelique looked around her and couldn’t help the groan of exhaustion that left her throat. She recognized these surroundings, or at least the makers of it. Ancient Allagan had built something, and when she looked to the dark water behind her in a hole that must have broken sometime...or not even that long ago...was under the ocean.
The room despite its lights felt cold and Angelique hugged her arms close to her as she started to walk, what else could she do? Sitting around in an Allagan facility would do her no good. She needed to find a map, a node, something activated. She also needed to find G’raha and her friends, as well as little Fae’a who had come along the trip so excitedly. Hopefully Meeps and Fae’a were together at least, it would be awful if they ended up separated. Fae’a was a boy, and this place was large, and who knew what could be in it still lurking around.
Angelique walked along the lit passageway and through a door that had been stuck ajar and was greeted with what looked almost like an observation deck. The wide expanse of ocean still lurking above her head in a dome, which looked like it had sustained no damage. “Wow…” she breathed, not sure if she should be impressed by the size or unnerved with the way her voice echoed, but the vision of what strewn across the floor took away from that. There were a few shattered nodes, monitors looked as if they could have seen better days. Not even a bright screen could help her this time.
Angelique though decided to look through the broken nodes, frowning a little, such a waste of good technology. Gods, G’raha really was rubbing off on her. It was enough to almost make her chuckle. Almost, but not quite. Carefully picking through wreckage she found at least something that could yield at least SOMETHING if she could find anything that worked. Brushing off some of the dust from it she smiled a little. “A tomestone, great.” she breathed, but the smile she had was short-lived as something cast a shadow over the blue hazy shimmer from the ocean. That faint red glow creeped across the floor and Angelique swore her hair stood on end with her fight or flight instincts. She willed herself not to turn around, but her body betrayed her mind and what she had seen nearly made her scream as what she saw, was a red ringed eye staring back at her. Lines of red and blue marked across a dark body she couldn’t make out, but the fact it could shadow almost the entire observation room made her blood run cold.
It seemed to stare for a long, long moment before slowly, very slowly started to creep away. Angelique slowly released the breath she didn’t think she had been holding, knuckles long since turning white as she clutched the tomestone in her fingers. It seemed to go away further, and for the briefest moment she felt like it was just something her imagination was playing on her.
So she thought, until something long came from the haze and slammed against the dome, rattling the room, causing metal to creak ominously under her feet.

The smith is often used symbolically to represent mankind's creative abilities and the advances of technology. Smiths make weapons that the hero treats as their keepsake or they’ll turn seemingly useless ore to something useful. They pride themselves in their work, treating their makes like children and the wielder as a parent. —tvtropes

Darkwardens au - Choices
Tumblr media
Going full dark in this one. So warnings apply. There might be some death. Having an adult rating doesn’t always mean smut. :3
Credits to.
@maiden-born-in-snow for Shuri.
@meepsthemiqo for mentions of Meeps, Fae, and Fae’a. (just briefly)
Kivera is use to alot of things, she is able to read people better than themselves. This comes with the many years she spends as Purgatory’s caretaker. She never truly rules that realm, it can never be ruled by anyone. It is a world that is meant for people to understand their wrongs, their sins and work to absolving them. She adopted a thought process to not get into the affairs of humans at that point because she has seen the true depravity of humanity. She had felt it when she spent time in hell as a freshly fallen angel, she was like a scrap of meat to a pack of starved wild dogs.
Tumblr media
She is use to being used by others for their merits. So when the Scion’s Thancred approached where she had been guarding Anubis. She knew they had some trick up their sleeve to try and ensure their victory.
All it did was infuriate her, she noticed new champions they rallied for their cause. For their “extermination,” Kivera scoffs at their approach. They were going to attempt to reason with her, get her to side with them. To betray someone she loves. She noticed a few missing in Y’shtola, Alisaie and Alphinaud. They took her warning to heart, wisely not stepping against her. They’ve seen the aftermath of her fighting with G’raha. they would be walking to their deaths if they approached her, like the ones in front of her now.
“Leave.” Kivera hisses, she did not want to entertain them with idle chatter. Nothing of her morals, she has heard that too many times. She knew the faces that would not approach her would be her successor in Kiya and her family, Alphinaud, and G’raha Tia. He learned the hard way not to anger her.
“You are not even going to listen to reason?” Kivera feels her nerves stand on edge at Thancred speaking. He would be the one to act like he knew someone better. An orange eye glances his way, a warning to choose his words wisely.
“I already told you my stance. If you are here to kill her. Then my hand is forced. She is still in there.. give her more time. You did that for that kobold, and many others who had been tempered. Why not her?” Kivera notes them wandering closer, she kept her distance even using a miasma to warn them they were stepping too close. A burning clove scent in the air to ward off undesirable people.
“This isn’t a tempering, it is a corruption. Like the lightwardens. There is no coming back from it once their very aether is tainted.” Kivera’s eyes narrow towards the gunbreaker.
“You do not see her daily. You fought hard to stabilize her before. Why not seek that again, figure that out. Or better yet, run away and let someone else do it for you. You are very good at that. That is the only reason that paladin with you is here for...” At her feet, Kivera hovers, she was ready for an attack.
“Kivera, you can’t leave her like this. Isn’t it more torture for her to be locked away in an area? You did your best to contain her before the energy could spread. Yet I feel it from here, it is the same as a deeply rooted lightwarden. She’s too far gone. She would not want this.” Kivera turns her head towards them locking her eyes to Thancred’s. He tried this before with her, and she was firm the first time he tried to suggest what was better for Shuri like they were still lovers.
“I don’t want to hear that out of you. You have no idea what she wants. She wants to live, she wants to return to being a mother, she wants to see Estinien. She wants to break free of what holds her, but she is unable to. If it takes me removing her from this star and world altogether. I will make her a home in my world before I succumb her to your self righteous ways. Who do any of you think you are? When was it acceptable that you are the ones who decide who lives and who dies. Just because someone was tempered by a primal. You announce their demise, you rally people for it. You sent countless people to their deaths before the “right” ones showed promise. Yet when those ones too falter. Here you are ready to drop a guillotine on their necks. I said this before Thancred. You do not get to say what you feel is best for Shuri. You have no right for it, as someone who betrayed her trust a long time ago. Don’t think she hasn’t lamented to me her woes about it. You speak of knowing what is best for her, when you don’t have the first clue about her anymore. I will say this once more. Leave!”
“Damn it Kivera, you really will see this through then? I’ve seen the corruption first hand, in what it does to a mortal being. Remember Titania? How the pixies had to lock them away for the same reason, yet even they had to kill them for the greater good. It’s not about moral right, it is doing what needs to be done.” Thancred pushes it with the reaper, and as he steps forward a fire bolt is thrown at his feet to keep him back.
“Do not talk to me about what needs to be done. You and yours are the very reason I can never stand the self-righteous. Those who think they know the greater good. You tell yourselves that line to make it just. To remove any guilt that what you are doing is wrong. Like the many beast tribes you’ve had their guardian deities slain before their eyes. Visually destroying their hopes in front of them for the sake of “greater good.” Some of those tribes practice their prayer without the tempering. Yet if any of you spent time with those tribes. You would have learned a long time that the tempering does not happen without a reason. The call of a danger so much like what is happening now. We don’t know the cause of why Shuri tipped into darkness itself. If the sin eaters were a product of light, and their names of forgiven sins. Then the opposite here should be taken into account. Unless I am missing something. You were very much ready to end her life back before Emet. An acceptance then as the risk of a sin eater to ruin all of what you had achieved.” Kivera keeps her eyes on the group Thancred brought with him, a group of eight. Thinking that a full party of people would be enough to fight her.
Thancred realizes there is no way Kivera can be reasoned with, not when his own reason in this is questioned. The reaper notices his expression and folds her arms as she sheds the guise she had been in. The calm seeker of sun miqo’te for a form fitting of the nature they’re talking.
Her form shifting was as if breathing air to her, from dark wings, and clothing altering to allow her to move freely. She eyes them, sizing them up a party of eight people is nothing to her. She who has laid waste to worlds.
“This doesn’t have to end with your death Kivera.” Thancred hears her scoff again. The group that crosses the final threshold seals it for her. She would be taking lives today.
“Who says I am the one who will die here? Have you forgotten what I am? You better run away while YOU can. Unless you are wanting to sit back and watch the slaughter... How many more lives must stain your hands.. Just how many more must you lead along this path, dangling fame and money as a bargain for the lives you alter.” Kivera places her feet onto the ground and sweeps a foot across the earth to put a flaming barrier at the edges of the forest.
“What made you have those opinions of us in the first place? I don’t see how your thoughts were just grown overnight because of Shuri.” Kivera’s attention on Thancred, he was delaying the fight, he must have felt that this is a losing battle from the start.
“Elidibus. You remember him.” Kivera entertains him further. She had summoned her scythe and stands on the arch of the blade. Here she looks her namesake. Angel of death, Thancred worries even more that the eight people were truly enough. How does one fight death herself.
“Aye, I do, what does he have to do with your thoughts.”
“More than you realize. Fae, Meeps, Fae’a. By your meddling with affairs that should have taken place. She lost someone she cared for greatly, loved deeply. Robbed a life of so much. I had to endure yelling on that behalf mind you. It made me think. That maybe you and the scions are not truly someone to lay your trusts in. Then you wanted to recruit Shuri out of her domestic life for the sake of another suicide mission. You want to pull Kiya out of the same. Lucky Aymeric has a brain and refused to allow that after she had hung her mantle up. Because they know the dangers, because they know “if they don’t, you will just make others do it.” Like now. What you promise them? Pretty coin? their names engraved in stone or books? Matters not to me. And to be fair. I’m done talking. Enough stalling.” Kivera summons a mirror behind Thancred and with a flit she moves in front of him swinging the blunt end of her weapon to throw him out of the area, out of the realm they’re in and back into Mor Dhona. Her successfully saying “get lost.” With evicting him out of the realm entirely.
Kivera’s attention now on the group of fighters.
Tumblr media
“How sad that you are pulled into their cause. Just... more souls for the underworld.” Kivera sighs seeing the group ready themselves, unaware of what exactly they’re up against. She is just a stepping stone to them in their greater cause. But even stepping stones do not move from their spot.
Tumblr media
The analytical side of her has already noticed their weak points, that the fighters who are not healers or meant to take alot of damage falling to their knees already. Her miasma had been working from the start as a slow poison to the unaware. How it leeches their life from them if she chooses to. With a well timed blast of fire from her, she catches the very area on fire ready to burn it to ashes under her word. Yet leaves the trees and foliage alone. Her mastery over her power to not harm what she does not want destroyed while sending enough fire onto the ones attacking her.
When she notices them withstanding her a bit longer, she moves them to a different plane of existence. Her wasteland in one of her realms. She shifts time and place with ease that they seemed to be at a loss of what to do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here she puts her scythe away in favor of something she hardly uses. A weapon similar to what the astrologions use. Kivera doesn’t need to think further of their endurance. She draws a card from the item, mocking the healer she had just slain. Tossing the card up as if to signify the loss of another soul letting it burn to ash as the very air around them bursts into flames.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Forgive me Divinity.” Kivera murmurs under her breath, and without waiting further she cleaves half of the group down with most of her elemental magic. figuring out their weaknesses with flashes of each element. She knew how to deal with paladins, they were easy than most gave credit.
The fires dim down and spark into lightning, she throws streams of attacks till the last healer fell, singling them out before she started on the ranged and magical fighters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She had summoned a different scythe and spends most of her time chasing down the mages. She petrifies the others and silences them. Witling down their defenses till she was certain they can’t recover.
Tumblr media
She grants a reprieve once it was just her and the paladin. She leans on Antares then draws her weapon up underneath her to sit in the air as the energy swirls enough to make her ominous. The fighter left fumbling for something to revive a healer. A phoenix feather, Kivera sees it and snaps her fingers to burn it off.
Tumblr media
“You want to watch that one die again? Accept the outcome. You’re not going to walk away from here alive.” Kivera brings her hands to her face and rests her head into her palms. She was biding her time, watching the knight falter from realizing he is the only one left. She changes domains again. Bringing them to a different one, one that overlooks a failing world.
“Do you surrender? I’ll make it easier on you. Keep fighting and not even a Valkyrie will take your soul.” Kivera has no intentions of letting them walk freely. She wanted to send a message to Thancred after all. What better way for her than the bodies of those who he sent to kill her.
You know the answer to that, I can’t give up even if it is me alone. To the bitter end.”
“To the bitter end. I’ll commend you then.” Kivera starts after him, her weapon hooking with his, hers unfair in advantage of strength and power. A scythe is a versatile weapon with reach and heavier blade. Her hit alot harder than his, the curve of the blade digs in an arm at the seperation in his armor. Where she was aiming for. Her blade in his arm meant she could sever it.
The knight fends her off, and he is met with barrages of flames and lightning. Each stronger than the last throw. He noted her appearance change, not even the others have seen her true form, save for Shuri and her loved ones. strikes harder till she manages to remove the dominant arm.
To Kivera, this was no one special to her, just another face they called upon. To her, the lives she just took were nothing but that. Her doing her role.
Tumblr media
“It’s over...” She says and without hesitation rends his head off letting it roll right off the edge of the platform. Kivera sends that through a portal to land timely in Thancred’s lap. Letting him see that she holds true to her word. That she will kill each and every champion he and the scion’s send after her and Shuri.
Kivera gathers each of the fallen, and sends them in a heap in front of Thancred.
“You sent them to their deaths. You bury them. You tell their families the suicide mission you sent them on.” Kivera’s words echo in his mind.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Remember. That you had the choice to leave. I too had a choice to defend what is important to me. I will never lose another to a needless death. Send as many as you wish. I’ll cut them all down.”
Kivera ends it with returning back to her outpost to await the next group. She knows there will be more. It will never end unless she falls or they give up.

For The One of Light and one of Death.
Rp start for @meepsthemiqo
Kivera is use to the ire of people. Specially of the living. She has seen and been the one to claim many lives. Whether she wanted to or not. It surprised her that Meeps wanted to speak to her. She knew it was a matter of time that she would reach out to her.
She was the one who claimed Elidibus after all. She had seen and heard the interactions with Angelique. She herself dealt with her own feelings on the matter, as long as it wasn’t her, herself dragged into matters.
When she got a delicate summon from Meeps, she had a feeling of what the conversation was going to be, given her feelings over Elidibus. She knew of Fae, she was present during Amaurot’s fall, she had witnessed many deaths as the star had died. She was in between voids waiting for the fight with Elidibus to be over, as she was ready to collect the Ascian.
She never wanted to, but an exchange was made, with those that opposed Zodiark had won, and had changed the fate of The Source and The First. Kivera waited outside of the Goblet, being close enough to be sensed rather than knocking at her door.
She felt conflict and unrest within Meeps, that had been there since she first met the woman. Even when she narrowed her eyes to see bits of her soul, the sundered similar to Kiya. But much different in terms of their conditions.
Kivera had assured Shuri that this meeting should not be negative. To Kivera this was another soul coping with grief. She barely knew Meeps, except the brief interactions with her and Fae’a.
She waited for her to compose herself to want to carry out this meeting. She had even abandoned the miqo form in favor of her natural appearance. From ashen white skin and bi-colored wings, to her unique clothing. She remains unseen to normal eyes except to those she wants to see her. A faint burning cloves scent within the air to ward off other spirits.
Kivera holds herself and steels her resolve. She already knows she won’t be able to answer all of her questions. She had recently come from one of the interractions with Kiya. Seeing her and Aymeric go about their lives, the haunted look behind Kiya.
“Some things are best left forgotten to time.” She muses aloud to herself. All she hopes is that grief does not overtake rational thoughts.

Hm. Here's a fun little challenge-- write about your favorite headcanon about Vhas and Shuri's marriage from each of the following points in time: their first meeting, the day after he proposed, the day before the wedding, the day they returned from their honeymoon, and the last night that Shuri got really, really drunk.
Have fun!
A challenge, you say?
My favorite thing when they first met was always Vhas massaged Shuri after coming over to her place. It was a nice little pace between them within the timespan of them dating as a headcanon for me. A little segue if you will.
The day after Vhas proposed, my favorite headcanon is Shuri looking at her ring a lot. Since it was made for her, she loves it so. Of course, there was also the headcanon of dress-shopping. I shared that headcanon with Meeps!
The day before the wedding headcanon: Shuri and Vhas honestly having a little date night for them before the wedding. You can't tell me they wouldn't. They'd go to a nicer restaurant and just treat themselves.
The day they returned from the honeymoon, they kept it going. The two couldn't keep their hands off of each other. I call it: the Honeymood.
Shuri getting really drunk? Last time was really before the wedding, to be honest. She hadn't been really drunk drunk since.

Without cheating, how many of your mutuals can you describe the general visual appearance and attire of their main muses?
Ohhhh yay I got this awesome ask!!! Thank you so much anon!!! 🥰 Okay, I’m probably not going to go through everyone’s OCs because a lot of my mutuals have multiple OCs, but I will try my best to remember! So here it goes:
@meepsthemiqo - Meeps Ior: Fem Keeper miqo, black and white hair, mismatched blue eyes, favors scholarly outfits and dresses that make her look like a beautiful housewife!
@snow-covered-moon - Shuri Fontaye/Angura: Fem Xaela Au Ra, white hair, mismatched eyes of white and blue, scales that are always changing but unique, beautiful flowing dresses that help her to dance.
@transcendentafflatus - Listelle: Fem Raen Au Ra, Royal blue hair, blue eyes, freckles, wears lots of blue dyed White Mage outfits, always wearing glasses and a shy smile.
@traveler-of-light - Astrid Lucis: Fem Xaela Au Ra, steel blue and silvery hair, light blue eyes with bright pink limbal rings, wears her Dragoon armor a lot and her lance isn’t ever far from her, just like Estinien.
@porta-decumana - So here are the two mains I always remember:
Kaida Asagiri: Fem Raen Au Ra, Brown or Teal hair, green eyes, tiny lizard with a big ass sword, she usually wears really nice armor to match that giant sword.
Cassius: Male Garlean (elezen model), Tall, blonde, handsome man with blue eyes and seen in either beautiful outfits or not much clothing, permanent bedroom eyes.
@frostmantle - Aurelia: Fem Garlean (midlander Hyur model), Wavy Blonde hair, lavender purple eyes, wears lots of flowy dresses and flowers in her hair, always looks soft unless she’s in Gunbreaker glam, then she looks badass.
@cassandra-wol - Cassandra Wolfe: Fem Garlean (highlander Hyur model), Brown hair, light eyes, brown skin, always wears a bandana and the best pirate glams ever!
I think that’s all my brain can handle right now. Once again, thank you so much anon!!! 💖

“Yo, Groot! Keep up! If you run into another wall because of that damn game, I'm recording it and showing it to Drax.”
“I am Groot.” The tree spat without looking up from the small screen.
We strode across the open pavilions of the Nova capitol. The city was magnificent; bright squares, water fountains, massive spirals of buildings. It had a futuristic tinge to it—like Star Trek, but I couldn't remember what that was.
“Have you ever tried replacing that thing with a book?” I asked.
Rocket gave me a weird look. “What's a book?”
My eyes widened and I looked away without a word. Rocket had a certain feel to him...a passive aggressiveness. But he cared. All of the snide comments, the special attention he took to Groot, it was because Rocket cared. I could work with that.
“Isn't there anything else you're interested in, sweetie?” I looked over at Groot.
He barely glanced up from his machine. “I am Groot.”
“Woah! Have some respect, young man! When we get back to the ship, I'm rinsing your mouth out with a bar of soap,” Rocket’s lip curled up in disgust. “No more spending time on Uncle Quill’s screens.”
“I am Groot!”
Rocket translated, “Oh, that's true. He likes cheesecake. But cheesecake ain’t gonna redeem you for what you said.”
I shrugged as we started to ascend the ramp. We had a marvelous view of the square, and the pools of water shimmering like a blanket of diamonds under the heat of two suns. Two shadows instead of one followed me up the slope instead of one.
I pressed a finger to my lip. “Cheesecake is good. There’s got to be other things that you like...have you ever thought of starting an environmental awareness club or something?”
“I am Groot.”
“Wait, you did? Drax ate the berries you invited? That's rude.” Rocket said.
We stopped at the front of a building.
I shielded my face from the sweltering orbs in the sky. “So what are we doing here?”
“Negotiations, kinda. We meet with the Ravagers every now and then, show off the cool junk we got, exchange information.” Rocket replied.
I walked in beside him, followed by the sounds of Groot’s video game. The inside was dark and full of neon lights. We ended up at a booth in the corner; Rocket insisted that Groot was too young for the bar.
I crossed my legs beneath the table and felt my shoulders straighten—I must’ve done it a lot, before. It felt natural, even though it seemed too professional. Groot’s game continued to make imitations of explosions.
“Mute that thing, would ya?” Rocket snapped. “Jeez, should’ve given you Quill’s headphones.”
I glanced over at the screen. Groot’s console shone bright against the windowless room. “What are you playing?”
“I am Groot.”
Rocket made a face. “Some stupid game called ‘Galaga.’ Quill and his stupid human crap…”
I leaned over. “If you use your branches to hold it up, maybe it’ll be easier to use the controls with your fingers.”
“Don't encourage him!” Rocket complained.
A waiter came over with crystals for teeth and neon-colored hair. Rocket ordered a few drinks and a slice of cheesecake for Groot. Groot took my advice and angled the screen so I could watch.
“You’re really good,” I said, impressed. “He is awesome at this, did you teach him, Rocket?”
“I am Groot.”
“You learned it from me…? You watch me when I'm flying the ship,” There was a crack of emotion in Rocket’s voice.
“I am Groot.” He offered me the controller.
My eyes widened. He barely looked up from the game since I’d arrived. Now his tawny eyes stared into mine, warm and tender against the exotic streaks of color across the room.
“Thank you, I don't think I’ll get anywhere near your high score though. What do I press again?” Groot pointed out the right buttons and the screen came to life. Little dots started flying around the screen.
—AVENGERS COMPOUND, 2018—
“Get that one—yes yes yes!” Thor’s arms tightened around me from behind as I pressed the buttons on the controller.
“You get so excited when we play this, it's adorable,” I smiled as Dragon Age: Inquisition came to a cutscene.
“I love spending time with you,” Thor replied, pressing a kiss on my neck, “and killing demons together—” another kiss, “and fighting dragons together.” his beard tickled my collarbone.
“ Honey ! We have company.” I hissed, resisting a smile as he nuzzled into my neck.
“It’s cool, Ms. Angie. You guys are like my OTP,” Ned was a friend of Peter Parker’s, who sat on the loveseat next to him with the other controller. “Besides Wanda and Vision—but I'm still upset that Clintasha never happened.”
Parker’s face scrunched up. Shuri was sitting down by the coffee table, eyes trained on the screen. She could probably solo everything, but for now, we were kept around as a few disposable lackeys. “Templar Ned of the Silver! Get your head in the game! Chaplain Korg of the Seven Kingdoms, diverge on that lava demon!”
Thor’s new friend from space made of rocks overpowered the other half of the couch, while the caterpillar-like creature Meep curled up in the armchair.
“Hey Thor, can we vote in Admiral Shuri of Dragonstone as our new Asgardian general? I think she’d be good for the job,” Korg replied. A loose pebble fell from his shoulder when he talked.
“Keep up the pace, ladies! You’re making the picture of Agent Carter in my room cry!”
“Hmm. We’ll consider it,” Thor’s lips brushed against my ear. “What do you think, Khaleesi?”
“I think Shuri would overthrow you and take the throne.” I admitted. As I muttered the words, Shuri let out a battle cry as the screen exploded with light.
Thor nodded. “Fair enough.”
Shuri shot up from the ground, waving her controller in the air. “Victory, peasants! Yes!”
I was suddenly buried in a tidal wave of muscle as Thor peppered me with kisses. I couldn't help laughing. “Thor, stop it—”
—*—
I looked up from Groot’s game. “This is so cool—you should show it to Rocket, I'm sure he’d love to know how to play.”
I returned the game back to Groot. Rocket shot me something close to a thankful look as Groot scooted closer to him and started pointing at the screen.
What's an OTP? And who the hell is Templar Ned of the Silver?
I thought about the faces that had flashed through my mind, grasping at the memory before it could be locked away with the rest. I mulled over them for some time until the table shook.
I looked up. A thin man dressed in red leather sneered with crooked teeth from the other side of the booth.
“Kraglin,” Rocket greeted him as he leaned back on the seat.
“ ‘Ey Fuzzy. Where’s Quill?” Kraglin glanced at me. “And who’s the fairy?”
“Quill is busy.” Rocket rolled his eyes as if it were an obvious question.
“Doin’ what?”
“Grocery shopping. He pulled the shortest stick,” Rocket snapped.
“And the fairy?” Kraglin’s hair was piled up on the top of his head, topped with some kind of red attachment. It was like he added the extra inches on purpose, to appear more intimidating.
“Fairy?” I asked.
“Yeah. You got the face of one—like those elvy dudes on Alfheim,” Kraglin’s eyes narrowed with skepticism.
“This is our new recruit. Found her floating around in the middle of nowhere.” Rocket answered.
Kraglin nodded. He glanced down at the table when he asked another question, “Did...did Nebula get that hat I sent ‘er?”
“I am Groot.”
“We know, you have a low opinion of hats.” Rocket sighed at Groot.
“It's not a hat. It's a beanie,” Kraglin said defiantly.
“What the hell’s a beanie?”
“Something soft you put on your head!” Kraglin’s hands crumpled into fists on the table. “Did she like it?”
“How the hell should I know! Nebula hates everything. Enough with the interrogation, already.” Rocket stood on the cushions so he was eye level with Kraglin. “What do ya got?”
Kraglin started to admire the tips of his gloves. “The Ravagers got some shiny things...some secrets too.”
“Shiny things?” Rocket leaned forward, greed glinting in his eyes.
“What secrets?” I asked politely.
“Forget the intel! Show us the goods!” Rocket complained.
From the look on Kraglin’s face, the “goods” weren't as good as he claimed. I tried to think—I didn't have much to work with. I still barely knew the Guardians, and even if I did have my old memories, there was nothing valuable about them.
Except for what Peter told me…
“You’re speaking to someone who keeps a bomb in a box.” I said, straightening in my seat as I felt all eyes on me. “The Guardians already have a fine collection of shiny things.”
“Collections can always grow,” Rocket pointed out.
“Secrets can be more valuable, and lead to other shiny things.” I said. My voice stayed light and calm and neutral—it was activated on instinct. “From what I’ve gathered in the time I’ve spent with the Guardians, the Ravagers are one of our closest contacts.”
“Contacts?” Kraglin shot Rocket a shocked expression.
“It's a big galaxy. We have friends in high places. But we will not deny our close relations with the Ravagers,” I finally leaned forward, capturing Kraglin with my eyes. “If you tell us what we need to know, the Ravagers may benefit greatly. Our victories are our traders’ victories.”
I had managed to capture Groot’s attention away from his game again. Rocket and Groot gaped at me. Part of me was shocked: someone taught me how to bargain. Not even that: I could slay with words. Was I a politician?
Kraglin struggled for words across the table, “Yeah, but…”
He already gave me the leverage to seal the deal. “I’m sure our other companions, including Nebula, would be grateful for your contribution.”
Kraglin sat there for a minute, his foot tapping underneath the table. Then he caved. “Alright. We got some shiny things, but we found somebody… a shiny man.”
Rocket and I exchanged a look. “There’s some rumors about him. He’s been sniffin’ around the galaxy. Don't know what he's up to...but he may be guardin’ a heap of units somewhere. Or he’s lookin’ for one. Either way, we get the feelin’ that there’s some money in that lead.”
Rocket whistled. “We hit the jackpot! This is better than any casino I've ever been to.”
Kraglin unfolded a piece of paper from his jacket pocket and slid it over the table to me. When I reached for it, he caught my gaze.
“Be careful with that lead. There’s a reason us Ravagers haven't pursued it ourselves. And tell Nebula…” He swallowed and glanced at the counter. “Tell ‘er that ‘er nails look pretty.”
I nodded, finding myself smiling sweetly as I handed the slip to Rocket. He kissed the paper and stuffed it into his suit.
Kraglin stood from the booth and nodded to us. “Looks like you lucked out there, Fuzzy.”
“Damn right I did.”
Kraglin looked at me. “I wasn't talkin’ about the lead.”

“...How?”
Casimirs tail shot striaght up at the sudden voice, and he bared his teeth, wide eyed as he searched for the source. Spotting a giant hat, he calmed down a bit, “Ah! You must be Amon... Meeps talks about you... but I never expected... THAT big of a hat...”
He tilts his head at the Elezens bemused question, and smiles ruefully, “Listen, Amon, some things are better left unsaid, yeah? And if you must know, Botany is... an interesting subject for me and I prefer a hands on approach.” He grins again, then yelps as he almost falls off, scrambling for purchase again on the branch. “Hey, there’s a ladder down there somewhere, could you uh... could you prop it up next to me, please? Oh, and I’ll treat you to dinner if you never mention this to Meeps or Shuri.”
