I don't know how many "true mutuals" I have in the Tumblr sense but I'm sure at least one of you out there pays attention to my non-theme posts so here it is:

About 11 hours ago, my family and I left the room where we had been holding vigil for my 94 year old grandmother as she lay dying but holding on. My grandmother is a mother of 8, grandmother of 16, great-grandmother of 18 or more (I'm too crossfaded to accurately count all my cousins' children right now). We had sat vigil over her the evening before as well, and though she was by all appearances unconscious, she seemed agitated at times by all the people in her room, as though she was upset that she couldn't sit up and join the conversation. My grandmother is a very social person, involved in organizations in whatever community she had lived in throughout her adult life.

We left the care facility and went to dinner as most of us hadn't eaten since breakfast. We got to the restaurant and before we could even be seated (surprisingly quickly for a party of 18), we received a call from the hospice nurse informing us that Grandma had taken her last breaths, in apparent peace. We all cried but kept our table, eating and savoring the fellowship of family and telling Grandma stories. My aunts guessed that she couldn't leave while she still had guests and once we filed out she felt it was ok to go.

This is your reminder to take some time to let those close to you - family (blood, adopted, found, or otherwise), friends, partners, whoever they may be - know that you love them. Appreciate the time you spend with the ones you have. I love you, my Tumblr family. Good night, I'm going to sleep the sleep of the drunk and the weary.

I suppose I should include a little about me before I start writing?  He/It mfer

I’m in a lot of fandoms, ranging from the Elder Scrolls to Subnautica to Pokemon to an assortment of other things. Gonna post about em eventually. If you want to know if I’m associated with a fandom, you just need to ask. 

Some notable interests ig? Current special interest is insects. My favorite weevil is the acorn weevil. Favorite beetle is the stag beetle. Favorite moth is the rosy maple moth. 

I’m a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls, currently sitting at ~700 hours in Skyrim alone, and that’s not counting Morrowind & Oblivion. I have a special place in my heart for Farkas, my beloved <3

This is semi-cannon complacent. As in I won’t specify the exact point this would take place in the timeline, but it generally follows what happened in cannon. (If that makes sense?) (basically there’s some wiggle room.)

I don’t really do very many ships. Although if any were to be cannon to this it would most likely be Peppermint and Death having a situationship.

Will there be events or a larger story? I’m hoping so. I have some things planned, it’s mostly working towards them & waiting for the right time :D

First off, there's probably no way we're gonna leave this site, and we love its userbase dearly; however i still wanted to make a statement about recent events. I think by this point everyone's aware of the things involving Avery Predstrogen and the CEO photomatt consistently banning her and other trans women.
