It’s Rockman Day and I was originally going to just draw original, classic Mega Man, but I decided I would draw Volnutt instead.
I still patiently wait for the Legends Legacy Collection, wherever and whenever it may come to be.
It’s posted to that other site too.

Mega Man X: Pacifist both inside and out, refuses to fight unless absolutely necessary
Mega Man: Will fight if he has to, unable to harm humans due to his coding, tries to use nonlethal methods to safely shut down other robots without bringing any harm to the personality programming
Shooting Star Mega Man: Will also fight if he has to, but always careful not to seriously injure anyone
Mega Man Volnutt: Uses nonlethal methods on humans before looting them for treasure, seems to have no qualms over blowing up robots if they're deemed as a threat
MegaMan.EXE: FUCK that noise, I've got a buster, a cannon, a machine gun, and a SWORD! You try to mess with the Internet or hurt my brother and my friends, and I will straight up DELETE your ass!

Happy 35th Anniversary to the one and only Blue Bomber, Mega Man! This is a franchise that I hold nearest and dearest to my heart, from the music to the characters.
Fight on, Mega Man! For everlasting peace!

I’m pretty sure that I remember Ian Flynn - the writer on the old Archie Mega Man comics, in case further context is needed - suggesting that if he were to ever write a bridge between the Classic and X series plots, he’d explain the non-presence of the Classic cast by having it that Rock, Roll, Blues, Bass, etc. went adventuring in space with Duo (and also said that he had a “clever idea” for how to solve the problem of Quint that he’s keeping under his hat just in case), which I think works nicely and sounds like a lovely way to end the Classic era.
IIRC he’s also suggested that he’d try tying that in with the infamous cliffhanger of Mega Man Legends 2. Which, I don’t know, seems like a needlessly dramatic way of resolving a cliffhanger that was not really treated seriously by the game itself and only retroactively became dramatic because it was never followed up on, but it’s also really funny to imagine:
Rock: So what’s been happening on Earth since we’ve been gone?
Yuna: Oh. Well, you see, there’s been, you know...
Sera: [Millenia of horrifying atrocities described in agonizing detail]
