oooookay so, first off, I want to thank the peeps who took part in this year's megapit week! whether it was by making content or liking/reblogging the content that was made :D

(I plan on completing the prompts myself before the end of the year, fingers crossed for that :p)

and secondly, sorry for the inactivity! life has been crazy busy since the start of this year and whenever I hope to get time to do the things I need to do... I don't end up having the time c':

MegaPit Week

Here are the prompts for the upcoming Megapit Week, as decided by the votes (and a little bit of RNG):

Reminder that the event will officially take place from Monday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 8th.

Day 1: Dancing | Teamwork

Day 2: Dreaming | Angst/Comfort/Fluff

Day 3: Flight | Playing Games

Day 4: Culture Shock | First Meeting

Day 5: Food/Cooking/Picnic | Alternate Universe

Day 6: Comforting Hugs/Kisses | Fusion

Day 7: Free Day |  Glitches

The guidelines are basically the same as last year, with little to no changes, and are as follows:

How to participate?

You can pick from 2 prompts each day. You can either choose 1, or you can mix the both of them together should you be inspired to do so.

You can make art, fanfics, edits, etc… based off the prompts. Just be sure to tag it with #megapit week 2k21 or #megapitweek2k21 when posting on tumblr.

If you wish to participate but do not want to post on your blog, you can always submit your work to @megapit-central​.

In the event that you are reading this without a tumblr account, you can contact @megapit-central​  as an anon and ask for an email address you can send your work/submit a link to your work to.

What can be submitted?

As said before, all kinds of works are accepted.

However, works containing NSFW material, such as explicit gore or mature content is forbidden, even in the event that the characters are aged up. Failing to adhere by these rules will get you blocked.

PS:

I have been fairly busy with IRL stuff these past few months, so the reminders about the megapit week were basically nonexistent, and I apologize for the announcement of the prompts being so late when it comes to tumblr.

However, be reassured that you can submit your works around the prompts during the entire month of August (and maybe even beyond?) and are in no way pressured to commit to the entire week should you choose to participate.

The important thing is to have fun and use the event as an excuse to produce some content for our little, obscure fandom!
