You always found that the stillness of the somber nights, always brought a storm. In the moonlit walk back to the house you limped regretfully across the lawn. Megumi and Nobara trailed behind you while Itadori held you upright. There was a long slash along your whole back that bled through the ripped edges of your shirt, the wound wasn't deep but still stung in the cold breeze.

"Jesus Y/n that looks terrible. You ought to be more careful!" Nobara scolded harshly at you like she would her own child.

"M' sorry." Your voice was barely a whisper. Nobara frowned her eyes pricked from the tears forming on her waterline. Megumi glared at you from across the counter, although his heart burned seeing his girlfriend in this current state, he was still furious.

"We're not always going to be there to save you y/n." His voice was harsh, it was a tone you knew well. You and your boyfriend got into arguments just like regular couples did, except Megumi was different. He was hotheaded and always said something hurtful that left marks.

"I know." Your voice cracked when Nobara's pad soaked in achohol burned against your skin. Itadori walked out from the bedroom with a first aid kit. Norbara wrapped the entirety of your back with a gaze roll.

"Obviously you don't. You always do this, you throw yourself into danger knowing you're not strong enough to fight and then-" His words were cold and unforgiving.

Not strong enough?

"every time you struggle one of us has to go and save you, which puts us all in danger and-"

"Maybe I don't need your help." Your voice was strained. You wanted to be tough and prove to him that you didn't need them but the tears were already spilling onto your cheeks. His gaze softened when he saw you cry.

"Your right I am weak and I'm sorry I don't fight as well as you guys" You words came out messy and your arms flailed about despreate to show your emotions.

"A-and maybe I sh-houldn't even be a soucerer but I wanted to prove to e-everyone that I am strong but I always end up g-getting in your way." Your words were interrupted by non-stop sniffles and huffing. You sobbed into your hands profusely, Nobara tried to calm you down by holding your hand comfortingly and rubbing your UPPER back. Megumi opened his mouth in an attempt to say something but Nobara shot the dirtiest glare at him.

"Leave Fushiguro." She demanded pointing to the door that led to the next room. Megumi furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Itadori for help but he simply shook his head in disapproval. Megumi made his way to the door but before he shut it he took a final look at you and his heart throbbed with guilt and anger at himself.
