[MeijiLivexBibleBuild] Lie detector
Build said the detector isn't working and got shocked the next question and jumped 😅 Bible accidentally got a shock but he showed no reaction and said it feels like nothing...
Since Mothman Ingo is the headcanons only has one surviving offspring from his mate and is especially protective on them when he’s a Warden.
I can only imagine how nervous and flighty he would be if his child had the same issue and demority as Emmet or had some health issues from birth. That would be straight up Finding Nemo angst.
anon, moth hybrid emmet isn't deformed per se, he just isn't a complete hybrid. he's like 75-80% human as opposed to ingo's full 50/50 on each
yes, though, if his child was like emmet, ingo would be extremely overprotective. they are much more fragile than proper hybrids and they can't properly cocoon for metamorphosis which leads to underdeveloped features (antennae, wings, fur). they also may need milk instead of normal food from snom hybrids depending on just how much more human they are.
warden ingo isn't going to be letting anyone but his mate, irida and a few other select pearl clan members around his child. he also gets stressed when they start growing and experience issues as their improper proportions and different dietary needs lead to new, unexpected problems.
though, i think what would bother the poor warden most is just how familiar everything is to him, but he can't recall exactly why.
Live action otome game adaptations?
I already know Hakuouki, Meiji Tokyo Renka, Code: Realize, Amnesia, Collar x Malice, Toki no Kizuna and Sengoku Night Blood all have live action adaptations of some kind.
But I was wondering if there were any others?
Nearly every room has a unique view out over the elaborate gardens. The lower photograph is the interior of the Taisho-era’s ‘modern’ Western-style sitting room.
While the main house was built in the traditional Japanese style, modern rooms were sometimes added as part of the original construction. Here, it is used as an occasional bedroom.
“I don’t think I’ll be able to get used to how bright it is here at night... all these lights are nice, but it’s excessive. Safer, maybe, but... I like night to actually feel like night.”
Happy birthday to these two I love them so much ahhh🎆✨🎊🎉🎈🎀🎁🎂🍰🍭🍬🍹♠️♣️🎵🎶🎼🎹
Meiji Tokyo Renka (明治東亰恋伽) live action
Release Date - 9 April 2019
Episodes - 8
Movie (not date confirmed)
The story of the Meiji Tokyo Renka franchise follows an ordinary high school girl Mei Ayazuki, who time-travels to the Meiji period of Japan (around 1890). She meets various famous historical characters and falls in love with each of them
Rewrite/edits are not working well today on account of headache, but a spare bit has also been written and I don’t know if that’s going to get folded back into one of the main fics or not. Push comes to shove I may just post it up drabble-style.
Also in digging around for some inspo I suddenly remembered the character of Jenna from Little Sisters of Eluria and didn’t realize she was 110% a proto-Aadhlei and also just left here yelling ‘HEY UNCLE STEVE WHY CAN’T ROLAND BE HAPPY EVER?”

Okay so, you know the idea that at the exact same instant Ingo is transported to Hisui, he’s also transported back to modern day? So it’s like you see regular b/w Ingo, you blink, and now he looks all messed up and old? Okay so imagine that, but nobody realizes that’s what happened.
Like Emmet and Ingo are hiking in the woods for some godforsaken reason, and they lose sight of each other for a second, and in that second Ingo is simultaneously transported to Hisui, lives there for a year or two, and is then transported back to modern day Unova like no time had passed. Ingo does not realize he was transported at all and thinks he’s still on the highlands, so he just kinda wonders off. And Emmet, who let him out of his sight for only a second, is now completely alone and has to find his brother. A brother he does not realize is now a fully fledged wildman and warden who just fucked off into the woods because he thinks he’s in Meiji era fantasy Japan. There could be so much humor and angst in this. Like Ingo is so accustomed to living on highlands that he starts doing a lot of stuff that would be totally normal on a dangerous mountain, but is completely insane behavior for a guy on a hiking trail. He hides from people thinking they’re dangerous pokemon, wanders far from the trails to pick berries to eat, and is just climbing everything like a sneasler gligar. And poor Emmet starts hearing rumors about this weird cryptid in the woods while he’s desperately looking for his brother. While Emmet is looking for his brother he hears this terrifying melody from far into the forest and is freaked out even further. At the same time Ingo is trying to call Lady Sneasler doesn’t realize that everyone in a 10 mile radius of him can hear his flute. Which is a lot of people because he’s close to a hiking trail. This whole scenario lends itself to Emmet trying to find Ingo (who he doesn’t realize was transported to Hisui and back) while avoiding the terrifying entity in the forest while Ingo is said terrifying entity and also thinks what he’s doing is completely normal because he thinks he’s still in Hisui
This doesn’t even have to be in the wilderness either, it can be in the subway or in Nimbasa or anywhere really. Just as long as both parties have no clue of the time-space nonsense that just happened
Edit: also imagine them coming across different pokemon. Like Ingo sees a Unovan braviary and is like “hmm, that pokemon looks wrong, shouldn’t it have purple around its forehead?” Or if he’s in the city he starts seeing trubbish and pidove and is just like “what in Lord Sinnoh’s name is this?” Also Ingo likes to let his pokemon out a lot to enjoy the outdoors, so while Emmet is frantically searching for him he comes face to face with a machamp and has to run away for dear life
juunova replied to your post: im sCREAMING
How common is it? Have you ever seen anyone with anymore?
usually everyone knows a friend of a friend who can See.
she’s the only one i know who has it herself urughjg, it tends to run in the family and frankly if you can then you’re used to it.
i love your wanted au because all i can think about is just how funny of a group ingo and akari are, i mean. a child who has been living in meiji era japan and has literally fought god traveling with a man who befriended a giant cat thing that died 300 years ago. it really is just slightly feral child and man who's been disassociating for the past 3 years going hiking with their extinct animals and helping who they can while everyone else is just staring in horror
The best part is that they largely have no idea what’s going on with everyone else. Their wanted posters get plastered on every poke center and poke mart in Sinnoh so not only are they still foraging and making their own potions and revives, they also have no access to any computer. Their arc-phones also don’t have any kind of Wi-fi or phone service so they can’t access their contacts to call anyone. They know their wanted criminals because of the lies of that research lab, but they don’t know how people know Ingo’s name so quickly. Any public address made to them on national TV is not seen because they’re busy hiking though the woods, letting their Pokémon all stretch their little legs as they introduce them and themselves to the modern world bit by bit.
Also, ‘slightly feral’? This kid has spent weeks in the wild, learning and studying pokemon behaviors in all climates and literally stalking prey subjects to catch. If she runs into a forest she just vanishes into the foliage. Modern Pokémon who hang out in the grass are not prepared for a human to sneak up and chill right next to them.
Ingo is much the same, learning to survive in the highlands when he needs too, climbing steep cliffs with his bare hands, camping out in sneaselers den and sleeping under a pile of sneasels and sneaslets.
Oh! I do stand corrected actually, they do get access to world wide communication. At some point they get ahold of an old hot pink wrist radio. They try to play any news station they can reach but Sneaseler always insist they play the rock music station. Ingo must admit he really likes that one song they keep playing, he thinks the artist name is Roxie? It kinda sounds familiar.
About PLA Ingo, is he an old man or about the same age as his BW counterpart? I mean besides the beard he's growing, he also appears a little shorter, but he doesn't have wrinkles and stuff.
Sorry for taking a long time to answer. I do believe some time has passed but we don't know exactly how much HOWEVER we got new evidence (kinda) now so it's analysis time.
Firstly the shorter stature can be easily explained, Ingo has bad posture. He seems to be hunching and his legs are slightly bent (ingo why)
Secondly from his official art we can see the signs of wear on his hat and coat.
There are many factors that contribute to the wear:
1) Being a warden and living in hisui, hes constantly exposed to the elements (especially if he live with the pearl clan who resides in snowy place)
2) assuming he always wear the coat and hat, and his modern day clothes aren't meant to be worn outdoors they could have deteriorated faster than we expect
Everything else underneath the coat doesnt show signs of wear bc they're either replaced (dress shirt for pearl clan outfit) or (i assume) he got new, similar ones (pants and shoes) so we can ignore them.
I also want to show his hand
They look so wrinkly like old man hand but remember this is meiji era, many things require manual labour like he might need to cut his own firewood (?) and things like that, that could contribute to the wrinkles rather than natural aging
Thirdly is the closest to conclusive evidence for his age we can get (at least for minimum estimate).
Source here, many thanks to them)
I noted before how strange he grew a goatee but keep his hair short but this shows otherwise. It seems like the devs wanted to give him a hair bun? Ponytail? of sorts but cut it in the end, not sure why but this gives us a chance to theorise.
In order to tie a bun you need a long hair, and assuming he never cut his hair, this is what i imagine (minimum estimate):
I couldn't find definitive answer how fast hair grows bc a lot of factors contributed so I'll just theorise from my experience, during the lockdown i spent a year not cutting my hair (my hair was just a bit longer than submas when it started), i grew hair long enough to put in a mini bun. So i think for bigger bun like ingo's he'd need longer hair, which i assume 1 and a half year to 2 years. I have no idea if it's the same for facial hair but i think the hair is more conclusive bc he could have trimmed the goatee a little (seeing how only a spot on his chin is left to grow).
So yeah that's it, based on this analysis i theorise that Ingo has been in Hisui for a minimum of 1.5-2 years.
I hear you skeptics questioning how did a stranger not from hisui become a warden in that short amount of time, but remember ingo is a subway boss, he's more experienced about battles and has more pkmn knowledge than hisuian people AND regular trainer in his original world, i feel once he adjusted to life in hisui he could've speedran becoming a warden.
Also some people raised concern how he gained the trust of irida and pearl clan as a whole, and irida has always valued safety first, but i think this is precisely why they'd take ingo in, he's strong and it's shown in game he deeply care for hisui people, so i think pearl clan has no issue recruiting him as a warden. He's also kinda indebted to them for saving him so i think it makes him more likely to join them.
That's all i could think of so yeah. Ingo could easily be older than what we think but we'll never know unless we receive new conclusive info 😅

By fighting for your cause, I will earn the right to be legendary
I have been so excited about being able to send Kane of on his Kiwame journey and the Hakuouki cross-over that I couldn’t help but record all his letters into pictures. I had a lot of fun with these and I once again realized just how much i love painting backgrounds.
I also really love Kane’s Kiwame outfit. I definitely realized how much he looks like a proper Shinsengumi warrior now, all dressed for battle (and quite fashionably at that).
1st letter - Training with the Shinsengumi (1863)
Not much is mentioned in his first letter besides being allowed to train with the Shinsengumi. I imagine he joins them in the very beginning, so he can witness and learn as much as he can.
2nd letter - Turning point (1868)
I felt the tone of his letter changed quite a lot compared to his first letter. His opening line also suggests that its been a while since he wrote back to Honmaru. He really starts thinking about what it is he went back to the past for, so it’s a bit of a turning point... the biggest turning point in each route in Hakuouki is the Battle of Toba-Fushimi. For the first time the Old Shogunate army is on the loosing side. What does it mean to be a warrior in this changing age?
3rd letter - Former master (1869)
History recorded the death of the Shinsengumi’s Vice Commander on May 11th, 2nd year of the Meiji era (lunar calendar). As long as the world thinks he did die (thanks, Otori) and the man himself disappears from history, it still means history is protected, right? I’m following Hijikata’s good ending, which is why he survives, but what does that to someone who has only ever heard he perished in battle?
*Kane’s western outfit is based on the revue outfit he wore during the 江水散花雪 musical. The head pat is a little nod to the series where Toshi tends to do that with Chizuru a couple of times.
4th letter - New Master (2205)
New outfit, new resolve. Time to go home.
Hijikata and Chizuru now live in a tiny house somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Ezo with a chance of living out the rest of their lives.
*There is no 4th letter, but I thought it would be a good way to end this (his Saniwa has been super excited to see him again, after all). Kane dissolving into sakura petals is a little nod to how fans have interpreted Hijikata’s end, but much more joyous. Kane’s pose is inspired by one of the Hijikata bromides for the Hakuouki Shinkai musical - Saitou Hen that took place last month. Full circle.
Yamamoto Yaeko - Heroic defender of Aizu
If you want to read about another heroine of this battle, you can check out my article on Nakano Takeko.
In autumn 1868 the domain of Aizu, Japan, was under attack by the imperial troops. Women within the castle actively took part in the defense.
They prepared ammunition, cooked meals, nursed the wounded, but also risked their lives in extinguishing the fires and rushed to cover the enemy canon balls with wet mats before they exploded. Young girls also collected the enemy ammunition for the defenders to reuse it. A 60 years old woman went out of the castle to retrieve food, but encountered an enemy soldier on the way. She stabbed him with her dagger and safely went back to the castle. A female bodyguard unit also protected Matsudaira Teruhime, the lord’s sister.
Some of them also fought. A contemporary witness depicts them as ready to don their white kimono and fight naginata in hand. An observer also said that they shared all the men’s burden, took on watches and shouldered a rifle if needed.
Among them was Yamamoto Yaeko (1845-1932), who distinguished herself through her leadership and her skills with firearms, though she wasn’t the only woman to use them in the defense. She was the daughter of an artillery instructor and her brother Kakuma had taught her to use firearms. She was particularly competent, being able to use recent models like the Spencer rifle and had also learned to fight with a naginata.
On October 8, Yaeko began to take part in night sorties. She had asked another female defender, Takagi Tokio, to cut her hair short like a male samurai. Armed with her Spencer rifle, she was dressed like a man and had two swords at her belt. She also commanded the men in charge of one of the cannons and didn’t abandon her post, even as cannon balls rained on the castle.
In spite of this fierce resistance, Aizu surrender on November 5, 1868. In an ultimate gesture of defiance, Teruhime ordered the women to clean the whole castle in order to humiliate the enemy as soon as they would set a foot in it and to show that the Aizu spirit was still unbroken.
When the castle fell, Yaeko was made prisoner with the men. After being freed, she divorced from her first husband went to Kyoto to find her brother Kakuma. There, she met and married Nijima Jô, converted to Christianity and helped him to found Doshisha university. She later became a nurse for the Red Cross and served as such during the Russo-Japanese war in 1905. Another woman who fought in Aizu’s defense, Yamakawa Futaba, also became a promoter of women’s education.
(Yamamoto Yaeko in her later years, c.1929)
Today, a statue of Yamamoto Yaeko can be seen in Aizu. There’s also a TV-show based on her life: Yae no Sakura.

Sakamoto Ryouma (Lancer) Bond Profile:
He was one of the leading figures of Japan around the end of the Edo period.
Born into a family in the Tosa reigion, he left his clan and studied under Kaishu Katsu, and formed the Kameyama Company, which later became the Kaientai (Ocean Support Fleet), and made massive contributions to the Meiji Restoration by mediating the Satcho Alliance and restoring Imperial rule.
However, he never saw the Meiji era himself, having been killed by a violent blade in the midst of his ambition.
He appears to be a carefree guy in his mid-20's.
Despite being a master in the Hokushin Ittō-ryū sword-style, he's a good-natured person who dislikes using his blade.
Instead, a mysterious beauty sticks close to him during battle and handles all of the work.
Although he naturally has the aptitude for the Rider class, for some reason he's manifested into the world as a Lancer.

When the Heroic Spirit known as Sakamoto Ryouma is summoned as a Servant, his treasures are either limited to a spear or a giant serpent. One could only guess what kind of miracle had to occur to allow him to wield both at the same time.
He's a master of the Hokushin Itto Ryu, with impeccable swordsmanship skills, and he recieved training in the field of naginata military arts. In addition to his summoning as a Lancer class, which allows him to show off his skills to the fullest, he's also bursting with the power of 'Super Oryou', who's like the invincible Kaientai.

The white serpent of Takachiho, clothed in the white mysteries of the Age of Gods, wields great power. With its strong physical barriers that cannot be damaged by half-hearted attacks, and its dimensionally unparalleled fighting power, it may be the image of a new age god.
She chose not to become a dragon and soar through the skies, but to remain a serpent and run along the sea with him.
Super Oryou descended as the White Serpent of Takachiho.
It is said that her power is a million times greater than that of the normal Oryou, but this is only based on her own declaration, and it is thought to be based on her personal feelings, so please try to understand Oryou on that.
In addition to her original powerful fighting style, Oryou's Super Takachiho Battle Style has finally been completed, with techniques such as emitting a mysterious God-like beam with Ryouma.
She was born in a distant land, small, dark, and deformed. She was shunned, kept away, and eventually washed up onto this land. Shrouded in resentment, she vows revenge and gathers power, growing proud and gaining the aspiration to become a dragon and claim the throne of the heavens for herself. However, as a result of her hubris, she was punished by being dropped from the heavens and sealed into Takachiho Peak by a divine spear.
During the long time she was sealed, she so earnestly resented the heavens that her body began to transform into a calamity that ate away at the nation and caused it to decay.
But at the end of an excruciatingly long time, she finally met someone.
―――Someone more important than becoming a dragon and ascending to the heavens.
―――It must have been hard for her.
That’s it. That’s the only reason he had. All he could think about when standing before the great serpent that was almost impossible to identity was whether it was a monster or a god. He just felt bad for the giant serpent that was sewn onto the spear, unable to move for such a long time, no matter what evil deeds it had committed in the past.
The human had no idea that the serpent was planning on tricking and eating him.
So that's why he pulled out the spear. That's it.
Now it could go anywhere freely. It was a relieving thought. But the snake didn't only free itself, but found a facination with this person, and wanted to walk along the same path as him.
And so, the man and the serpent found themselves facing the great tides of time.
Someone who wasn't quite human, something that wasn't quite a dragon, the twisted journey the two of them shared came to an inevitable end when they were both caught up within the inexplicable swell of the times.
But the dragon and the dragon still think-
―――I'm grateful to have met you.
