OH GOSH I GUESS YOU (quite understandably my blogs are a mess sometimes) MISSED MY FIRST POST ABOUT IT?? hoo boy okay so here’s the story

REWIND TO LIKE A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AGO. Our weather has decided hey, just because it’s been almost springlike up until now doesn’t mean we can’t have SNOW AND ICE TODAY. I’m heading over to Jamie’s, gonna watch some Toku, everything’s great.

Cue Jamie’s driveway being FULL OF ICE and me, klutz that I am, slipping on it and landing awkwardly. Which is bad enough, ow pain, lucky I didn’t break anything myself, but then we get inside. And I open up my laptop.

And bam. Huge crack in the middle. Everything’s still functional, I can still more or less use it, but yeah, not ideal, kinda distracting. Jamie feels terrible because as I recall I think I actually almost cried, which as you know larn, I don’t usually do but it was stressful and my body was made of pain, okay.

SO THEN we take the laptop to microcenter. Drop it off, told they can probably replace the screen, et cetera. Cue nearly a month of waiting only to be told nope, they actually can’t. (Not entirely their fault, but still kinda irked it took a month for that.)

Sooo yeah that’s my life right now~ We’ll see how getting a new one goes. Bluh.

Aside from Godzilla…? Anguirus. The suit used from Destroy All Monsters to Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla in particular is a masterful blend of adorable and vicious, and always playing the underdog goes a long way towards humanizing him.

Needless to say, I was delighted by Godzilla Legends #1.

Sorry the blog's been slow. I think the only person I was RPing with is on hiatus (which is totally cool, do not feel any pressure to reply until you're ready) and all other RPs were completed (let me know if you're ok with this, melancholiccarnival).

I saw your comic on Pluto's reaction to the naming of the new moons, and I wanted to ask if there were any new developments on the names, such as one or both names being rejected, would there be any other drawings to go along with them?

I actually do have lots of ideas for that case, and for other cases too, yes! But since I’m in the middle of a hard semester - as you might have guessed by the lack of activity on this blog - and the SETI Institute (which I assume is the authority that will choose the definite names in the end?) doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to make a decision either, that might take a while.

Or maybe I missed something? Perhaps the people in the Pluto tag can help us out and tell us whether there already was a decision. Keep us updated, please!

In any case, there will definitely be more artworks including my mythology interpretations, since they were not specifically created for that reaction comic, so…
