i've said it before and i'll say it again: the gargoyles in hunchback are not that bad. granted, they're not amazing or anything but laverne has some good lines (i can't help it, i have a soft spot for snarky old ladies) and hugo is a pain but not enough to ruin the whole movie and victor is okay-ish. he's just kinda there but he's not grating.
just in terms of annoying disney characters, there are way worse. honestly, the gargoyles wouldn't even make the top ten for me, not when buck cluck, baby shelby, and the love monkey exist. also that one vulture from the jungle book 2. remember that guy? no? good for you. x-x

Are you named after anyone? Nope. My mom thought she'd give me an easy-to-pronounce name. Then, I moved continents... Now I have a German pronounciation, a French one, and multiple bizarre English ones (don't mention the spelling...)
When was the last you cried? Monday night, briefly.
Do you have kids? yes, one. The best one, in fact!
What sports do you play/have you played? cycling and fencing, with brief stints in judo and basketball (see "height" below)
Do you use sarcasm? Who, me? Ha. Never!!!!!
What is the first thing you notice about people? Eyes and smiles. Roots out the creeps and fakes really fast...
What is your eye color? hazel
Scary movies or happy endings? happy endings. Life is scary enough!
Any talents? situational/contextual analysis, reading people and seeing through agendas. Also, cooking.
Where were you born? in a different country and on a different continent than where I live now (I have lived and worked in a total of six, so am a bit of a global nomad).
What are your hobbies? reading about politics and global affairs, writing fanfic, gardening, cooking
Do you have any pets? yes - a most adorable kitty cat.
How tall are you? 158 cms (total failure as an aspiring basketball player)
Favorite subject at school? good lord, that is soooo long ago... Does recess count? Actually, maybe religious studies. Because I declared myself an atheist in Grade 10 and was allowed to skip that class, so my best friend and I would go for coffee. In university, it was "Conflict of Laws" and "United Nations Law".
Dream job? To get paid for commenting on things in actually know stuff about.

Favourite colour: I don’t have one now? I favour black and jewel tones, though!
Currently reading: I haven’t read a book since Royals and Rebels by Priya Atwal; I really should borrow it again to absorb it properly. It opened my eyes to a part of history that I haven’t contemplated much before this, and a region that continues to suffer plenty of trauma to this day. Well worth a read, if dense for me - by contrast I flew through William Dalrymple’s Koh-I-Noor and was lost in it for a few days, which is a feeling I haven’t had in ages.

Corazon Espinado, which always reminds me of a beach holiday, something I haven’t done in a decade.
Last series: Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Lovely show that on balance got more things right than it didn’t.
Last movie: Darlings. It cut eerily close to the bone of an abusive marriage. Vijay Varma is beyond talented and hit every single note perfectly, apologies for that awful pun. Shefali Shah is excellent and lovely and yes, spectacularly sexy. She should be in everything. (Huge TW for domestic violence - some of it was stomach-churning for me to watch.)
Sweet/savoury/spicy: I had very healthy, virtually unspicy jjapchae for lunch, so SPICY. Please!!
Currently working on: three different WIPs in three fandoms, all of which are stuck at smutty junctures.
