Here it is!!!

My latest addition to my That ‘70s Show/Red and Kitty collection!

Now you might be thinking, what is it? Or that’s it? But let me explain.

This is a photo/mini poster and T-shirt celebrating the 25th anniversary. The ones that they were giving away at Comic Con this year where, as many of you know, Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith were supposed to attend and talk about the show *and* have a Q and A session.

So even though they couldn’t go, and I didn’t go, I think it’s a super cool souvenir. I like to imagine if Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith had been in attendance these would’ve been the posters they might’ve signed.

Think I know what I’m taking with me to the next T9S filming! 😁

P.S. @thatseventiesbitch it’s not the actual cut outs from the display but pretty close, no? Lol

The shirt is cute and simple, wondering if I could do a tie-dye with it!

Lately: A slice of life story. Lena is trying to balance her life at L-Corp with home life with Kara and her twins. However, things don't always go so smoothly.

Fairy Tales: Lena finally has the work and home life balance that she wants and is excited to get to spend the next two weeks that she has off with the girls while Kara is away. She believes that it will be smooth sailing, but things are not as they seem.

Difference of Taste: This is for the Rewrite Challenge hosted by @choicesprompts This is a rewrite of a scene in the Wednesday tv series using Supergirl characters. Lena and Kara have a difference of opinion of their room and what it means to be roommates.

Something Wicked This Way Comes: The Superkids are participating in a decathlon, but unusual series of events start to happen. This is a part of the 1k word challenge. I got the word smoke. This is in the same world as my series My Everything. Alexa, Liza, Billy, and Zatanna are a couple of years older. You can read this independently of the series. Not sure if I will keep this as a one shot or continue. If you want to see more, let me know!

An Unexpected Journey: Lena is going on a forced vacation with her best friend Sam and her daughter Ruby. However, things don't go exactly as planned when they reached their destination. This story I did is for the AO3 Tag Roulette: July 2023 from Prompt Roulette. The tags that I used from this were the following: Opera singers; sudoku; magnolias; wicked eyes and wicked hearts; fox. I said Scan of the Day was on hiatus until after the contest results, but this is a new scan, and it is a day today, so...guess I’ll make this a post anyhow!

What’s this? An inked page not done by Gary Martin? Just picked up this page from the final issue of Worlds Unite, inked and signed by Jim Amash. 

While on this inked version, it sure does look like the virus head of Sigma (Sigma-0 as it’s referred to in-comic) is popping in to surprise Wily, Robotnik and Xander, it’s actually a portal into the past in which the soon to be Mr. X fires and takes out Sigma to stop this whole crossover from happening:

One of the things I really miss are ticket stubs. I like the convenience but hate the truly ephemeral nature of electronic tickets. While not every show I once saw had a proper ticket (most did), stubs were always good mementos. I can't remember the last time I had a paper stub to save.

This nostalgic thought brought to you because the husband and I watched the Wax Trax Records documentary last night, reminding me that I have visited a few legendary record stores in my time.

I literally stumbled into Wax Trax in 1985, when I made a brief stop in Chicago on my way to college in Massachusetts. I didn't know about them before I walked through their doors, and had no idea how much the bands the label produced/distributed would become part of my life. Serendipity, perhaps. I was and am still a packrat, so I apparently kept the Wax Trax store cards I picked up there, fixing them into one of my journals a few years later, with various other store cards and, yes, concert ticket stubs.

I also started to frame ticket stubs to concerts (here's an early 2000s set), but I stopped that after realizing that we'd need way more space than we had.
