Impermanence A sense of self that rejects impermanence is bound to crash upon the shores of struggle. If your identity is not flexible enough to allow for change, the waves of life will push against you, revealing how your attachments never had the capacity to control reality. Mental pain decreases when we can see ourselves and all that is around us through the reality of change. Things begin, they last for some time, and then they end, that is the movement of life, that is the law that holds together this universe of mind and matter. Collectively, we have a tendency to appreciate beginnings more than endings. Normally, endings fill us with fear, but the wise who embrace impermanence, use it as a motivator to live with greater presence, to love more openly, and to live without holding back. Your relationship with change will define your life. A happy life requires you to embrace change as much as possible. — Yung Pueblo #impermanence #struggle #mentalPain #fear #presence #change https://www.instagram.com/p/CjDssLRuR1N/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Physical and Mental Pain
We have all struggled with physical and mental pain in Covid-19. The world has known physical and mental pain. Many of us are still having to work through that pain.
Covid-19
Many of us who caught Covid are now dealing with long-covid. New research shows that 2 million people may have had long-covid. (Source: gov.uk) So, having gone from a life, they're now dealing dealing with physical and mental pain.
I caught Covid in November 2022 and was still recovering when my twin died, and that caused me mental pain. I know my character, as hard as it would have been to say goodbye, I wanted one more time.
Eagle Syndrome
Although some of my symptoms are very similar to that of Trigeminal Neuralgia, having had hospital tests and seen a myofascial consultant, I have now been diagnosed with Eagle Syndrome.
I live with myofascial pain in the face, which radiates towards my ear and includes stabbing, sharp pains and a dull ache. I am desperately trying to get a handle on it.
We can all carry physical and mental pain, perhaps not at the same time, but it's the nature of the beast that we will carry pain.
Internalising can make things easier
Internalising can make things easier, because we're able to place things better. The physical pain that I currently deal with isn't easy to predict or to know how to handle. Away from my blog, I hibernate a lot.
Cancer
But carrying any form of physical and mental pain, or carrying baggage, can turn into cancer if too much of what we carry isn’t addressed. 1 in 2 will have cancer in their lifetime, isn't now a good time to deal with mental health? We hear about other people struggling with cancer, but fail to make the correlation back to our own physical and mental health.
The toll on our physical and mental health
Again, what is it going to take to deal with mental health? To read the article to buy and read the book. To start being proactive. It is important to talk, to get things out into the open.
There isn’t a day go by where I’m not talking about something.

I'm struggling! My head is so loud! I can feel my anxiety in my veins! I can feel my fear in my bones! But then my family worry, I can see it in their eyes. How do I answer 'are you ok' when 'no' could mean anything from I'm feeling a bit anxious to I want it all to end!!! So I tell them yes, even though I mean no, and they know I'm lying! And the spiral starts, going down hill, getting deeper in the dark pit! I'm drilling further down, faster and the further down I slip, the less chance I'll make it out alive! The noise in my head that is my own thoughts is now screaming! I need it to shut up! I need the spiral to stop!

Via @motivationapp: #Mentalpain is less dramatic than physical #pain, but it is more common and also more hard to bear. I love nature.
I still do. Trust me.
It's just that my brain doesn't let me have a moment to feel that love again.
It's been so long.
You just want it to be next second that you love the same things as before but it isn't easy.
Not at all.
