I have thought so hard on this. They are so strange and I know that whatever it is it could not be normal by any means...

I've mentioned the idea of them going to the aquarium together when they first start getting along again after PN2 and need some time off. Fully believe that Loboto would be the biggest fan of an aquarium, and seeing him have a good time would be enough to quell the Old Man Forced to Look at an Aquarium Map On His Day Off wrath of Oleander.

Can also see either of them claiming that something is a date when they are out together so they can throw off paying for something on the other. Going to a restaurant? Sure. I paid last time, now you have to cover the tab. But they start to abuse it. Going grocery shopping, Loboto's like "This is a date, right? Left my wallet at home." At the point where "This is a date, right?" is now code for "You have to pay for this." So official 'dates' are probably weird as hell for them.

But in terms of actually having a pleasant time together, I see them doing it in a mental world. Realized that Oleander and Loboto are the only ones to make "fake vaults" in their minds and we've seen them easily mess around with mental constructs (with relatively good results) So I can see them making nice little setups in their respective minds to show that they've been thinking about one another. Bonding over their past by opening up and getting through the hard parts of communicating by simply following the "show don't tell" rule in their own minds. I like to think that they have some actually sweet astral projected mental dates lol, maybe just because I really love the idea of that.
