Like, Aimsey right. I have many many problems with them. But my biggest problem is how they try to paint themselves as this huge advocate for queer people, women and mental health to their audience

And yet they shit on Dream. If you're truly going to be an advocate for any of this, talk about the biggest victim of homophobia in your own community. Sure Drean doesn't get called slurs every day (that's an Uber exclusive ✨️) but at the end of the day, the reason Dream gets treated like that is because he himself is queer and he welcomes a queer female audience with open arms

But no, Aimsey just uses him and and the rest of dteam as punching bags. They see them as less. Aimsey can not and will never be a truly safe space until they acknowledge what Dream has been through and the role they played to help perpetuate it. Aimsey proves the whole thing about how people's queerness is judged on morality

Dream is the biggest victim mcyt has ever witnessed and yet all they see is a villain. Congrats the right wing smear campaign worked.

Aimsey and the rest of the Brighton bastards can tout all they want about how they want to support victims and queer people and marginalized communities but until they're able to see past their own biases and accept the blatant hate they've helped spread, they will never be that. They will be two-faced liars who only accept you when it's to no harm them. As soon as they have to make themselves uncomfortable for your rights and comfort, all they give is scorn

Associating with Dream is hard, it is let's not kid ourselves. Even as fans it can be difficult and most fans feel like they have to hide when they're out in the real world. But that's precisely why it's so important that anyone who claims to be all for marginalized people is also willing to show support for Dream

That also goes to Catelyn. She called George out happily without hearing his side of the story but it was crickets when it came to punz.

This goes to Sniff who was all to eager to tear Dream down and share Andi's story but has been deathly silent on every other matter. This goes to Rue who in the midst of people reeling over what was found out about Wilbur took the opportunity and painted Dream as an enabler when he was simply in the room. This goes to all of them, every single one who can't keep Dream’s name out of their mouth as the general public slowly forgets theirs

And it goes to their fans too. Their fans who happily alienate and ostracize Dream fans on the basis of us enjoying our silly little guys. They who blindly believe every awful word that's thrown Dream’s way without wondering what he did to be called that and never question why they're so eager to hate him

I mention Dream the most because he's undeniably the center of all this, but neither George nor Sapnap are safe from this either

It frustrates me to no end because they're so incredibly preformative. Dream never outright says go support victims, but every month he quietly donates to a charity in support of victims

He doesn't try and claim he's an advocate for queer people, he just exists and fosters a community where you can be openly about that. He also designs delightfully subtle pride merch. He doesn't claim he's an advocate for mental health, but he occasionally mentions his own struggles as a teen and how he got through it and tells us it'll be okay even if it doesn't feel that way or he'll say yeah I'm medicated now and it helps

He isn't loud about any of this. He just quietly makes it known his thoughts and feelings in small ways that resonate deeply with his audience.

He's not an advocate, he's just someone who when accused of something decided to try and do something good while clearing his name. He's not an advocate, he's a queer person that exists. He's not an advocate, he's just a young adult who struggled in his younger years.

He's not an advocate but he's made his space a safe one regardless of who and what you are.

you’re right; if you want to foster a safe space for marginalized groups, you cannot pick and choose who is valid and who isn’t. we see this in so many different spaces and in so many different ways — the second that someone who’s part of a marginalized group isn’t liked anymore (usually because of others’ moral superiority complexes), they are completely alienated from their community at the hands of loud ‘advocates’.

one thing that really bothers me about all of this is that the main strength in advocacy is education. educating people is advocacy. and then these creators come forward claiming to be advocates who foster safe spaces, yet their only forms of ‘education’ or discussion are heated rants about other creators they don’t like, vagueing ongoing situations or drama, and shitting on creators like dream. and the worst part is how obvious it is that they haven’t even attempted to think critically about any of the hate they’re spreading. also, spreading hate is not advocacy! ever! spreading hate is not ‘supporting victims’! you’re inherently taking away from victims when you shift the focus onto someone to target. turning someone else into a victim isn’t supporting victims.

and about all the action dream has taken to support people in marginalized groups: there’s even a massive difference between those other creators & dream in terms of the messages they spread and the behaviours they encourage. dream has ALWAYS told his fans not to spread hate or fight people on his behalf. he has ALWAYS encouraged empathy, understanding, and compassion, and shown it himself even when the other party doesn’t necessarily deserve it and hasn’t shown him the same. he doesn’t go on hate-rants about other creators. he ALWAYS gives people the benefit of the doubt and tries to look at things from every possible perspective.

yes, talking is a huge part of advocacy. but an even bigger part is action. content creators make their agendas and intentions clear through their actions and behaviour, but their fans often get distracted by their words (i.e. “this is a safe space for queer people”). all of those examples you listed of ways dream has been a silent advocate makes his agenda clear. the same goes for creators like aimsey, who make empty promises and then do things that directly contradict the things they’re saying (claiming to support victims, yet completely ignoring all of the ways dream has been victimized).

advocacy is uncomfortable, period. being a large voice in a community and using that reach to support marginalized groups can shine a huge spotlight on creators. and once you see where a creator draws the line, where their support and ‘advocacy’ ends, their intentions and agendas become visible very quickly. and usually, the point where advocacy becomes too uncomfortable for a creator happens much sooner than people would expect. this is the issue with fans taking a creator’s words at face value; if those words aren’t backed up by any action, often times that means they’re untrue.

WOW hi again

sorry it’s been like over a month since I’ve posted anything, south park fixation is still strong and I know if I push the mcyt fixation too hard i’ll lose it and i don’t want that!

anyway yada yada more stories in progress as I’ve mentioned in like 3 previous apology posts, but they’ll be a bit more delayed. sorry everyone family emergency happened and I’m gonna be busy for a while yet but dw i’m stil doin stuff

in the meantime since i feel bad about leaving all of you on the back burner i’m gonna post some old art that i never gave you!!

now that that’s out of the way here’s some new characters and art for the alien terrarium au that i never showed you!!

you all already have seen Techno and Phil in the story, and they look pretty basic. Wil is pretty basic but he has some scars from surgeries performed on him to make him a suitable host for Tommy. The first outside person Wilbur meets is Niki.

Niki is Techno’s babysitter and best friend, and Wil quickly becomes close with her after he’s brought back to Phil’s house and Niki has to watch the twins when Phil is at work. The second person Wilbur meets is Shubble.

Techno is in his first year of high school, and Wilbur occasionally hangs around the campus cause he has nothing better to do since he doesn’t want to be enrolled in school. Shubble meets him while he’s loitering waiting for his brother and long story short, she convinces Wilbur to join the school’s theater program. Phil fills out some “homeschooled” paperwork and Wilbur meets with her and the theater troupe twice a week after school to do improv classes, plays, and learn musical numbers.

Lastly there’s Tommy, and there’s not much else to be said about him. Little alien snake guy i love him so much <3

might post more art of him later and explain parts of his character design but idk we’ll see

(also for age reference in this au Techno, Wilbur, and Shubble are all 13, Niki is 16, Tommy is 8, and Phil is an adult older than 25 [im not pinning down an age for him yet]. Dream Team and Sam are all between 23-25 [no specific ages for them either sorry])

1. Ok so part of the reason humans evolved so fast is because of our tendancy to just. Eat Fucking Everything. Plants made themselves spicy for us not to eat them? Not only do we eat them, some people LIKE the spicy pain taste. Pufferfish are literally toxic? Guess what? Theres places where they are prepared specifically for you to safely consume. If we can eat it, we eat it. And if we cant we will keep trying until we can

That being said the first time they saw tommy drinking wilburs coffee rations they SCREAMED. Caffeine is toxic to humans!!! What in the galaxy was tommy thinking?!

That horror only grew when tommy explained that almost the entire earth regularly consumed caffeine in many different forms and many even actively pursue the product. They effectively banned tommy from consuming it further despite him insisting it's fine

2. Tommy steals from the others so oftenm not anything valuable just food and blankets and small things here and there. and for the first few years of them living together sbi allow this because tommy kind of heavily implies it's a "human instinct"

When they find out later that tommy was screwing with them just to use their shit they are so offended (though techno begrudgingly respects the hussel)

3. The human smile is...weird. it took Technoblade a while to get used to tommys baring his nubby fangs as a positive sign. (Though he'll never admit its kind of adorable. Like a piglet trying to look tough)

4. Something they all secretly love is Tommy's ability to adapt to their instincts and habits. Humans seem to be this blank slate for most instincts and senses. They dont even behave like their ape ancestors that much. But to SBIs surprise, this doesnt mean tommy is detached from their behaviors, he actually adapts to them faster than they even do for each other. Tommy let's phil "preen" his hair. Even mentions it feels nice. Tommy likes swimming with Wilbur and even tries to mimic his bubble blowing under the water. Tommy even let's techno drown him in his gold hoard and lays with him during his hibernation days. philzas theory of this has something to do with humans need for pack and community. its something so ingrained in a humans instinct it allows them to packbond and mimic practically any species behavior in the name of community

5. though SBI has learned a human’s pack bonding tendency is both a blessing and a curse in one. tommy can join in their instinct behaviors, yes. but he also has the terrible habit of taking any and all strays he comes across. he even puts techno’s pet hoarding to shame in only that tommy does not seem to care whatever animal he is adopting is hostile or not. there have been multiple occasions that tommy has smuggled in a alien beast twice his size that very much wants him dead. how he manages to do this without being caught is something that no one knows. they only find out by the bite marks and injuries (and on one memorable occasion, the need for anti-venom) that tommy starts gaining.

“kevin is my friend! you cant get rid of him!” tommy cries about the 2 ton hoglin he has somehow smuggled from technos home planet in the thirty minutes they had stopped by

“shroud wouldnt hurt a fly! ...well he would but thats just because he eats them! he wouldnt hurt me!” tommy says seconds before shroud requires them to make a hospital visit for tommy

well I don't read a ton of fics that often, so that's a bit hard to say. this isn't a new one but one I read a while back and haven't mentioned on this blog I think is this one shot ft. crimeboys in the alien apocalypse + schlatt and it's just so good. I especially love the sweaterduo interactions in this they're fantastic

otherwise go check out anything and everything by the lovely eli birdfeet. I love eli's writing so much, their characterization is always fantastic (with any characters but ESPECIALLY wilbur) they're literally one of my favorite authors in this entire fandom and that would be true even if they weren't my best friend lol

oooo my go to coffee order? well if I'm at starbucks specifically I usually go for an iced shaken espresso with oatmilk just plain (I like my coffee less sweet so while the toasted vanilla shaken espresso is fine the plain is the best imo). if I'm at just a standard coffee shop then usually I go for just an iced latte with oatmilk, usually with no special sweeteners but if it's a fancy place that has rose or lavender as an option I might add that :)

Do u wanna ramble about something to me

yes! i've had this idea recently and it's idk kinda boring but it's based off of something irl (although not to the extent i chose; me and my mom thought it would be cool to—fictionally—expand on our own ideas lol)

basically phil and his family move from the big city (kinda) to suburbia. the change is pretty difficult for tommy, who had lived his entire life there and was expected to pack up and leave. so, techno decides to try and inconspicuously cheer tommy up by taking the kid on a walk. while on that walk, they stumble upon a neighboring development which looks considerably more new and fancy than theirs. it's intriguing, so they decide to take a walk through it. on the walk, they notice how oddly perfect it is. not in an appealing aspect necessarily...more like it just seemed so tidy. the paint on the crosswalks was hardly chipped and the street signs looked so petite and perfect. the houses all had nicely parked cars and neat lawns—it might have been the fact that the development was new, but it was still odd.

not to mention the houses, which were perfectly align with each other, yet all pleasantly unique. the other off-placed thing about them was how all of them seemed to have a light on, despite a great lack of people inside. it was almost one in the morning and nearly everyone still had their house lights on?

the two try to ignore the unease that rests inside of them—well, mainly tommy. techno seemed unbothered, but what else is new?—and instead try and make up ideas of what the neighborhood might be hiding. a secret drug cartel, aliens, secretly a set for a television series, government housing, anything they could think of.

by the time the first walk was over, tommy was already enjoying himself a little more.

over the course of the next month, the pair go on a lot more walks. one day, they get caught in a rain storm and are walking back when someone calls to them from their porch. they offer to let techno and tommy wait out the storm on the porch! thankful for the opportunity (and secretly a little hopeful that maybe they'll learn more about the neighborhood or have one of their theories be proven right), they agree. the person goes into the house to grab them some towels and something warm to drink. when they do this, tommy and techno sneak after them to take a look inside of the house. truly, they did not expect anything out of the ordinary. however, when they do, there's a whole round of people walking about, dressed up nicely and talking amongst each other. the two are about to run away until someone grabs techno's collar and drags him inside, and tommy soon after.

when the two get a grab on their surroundings, they're thrown into the corner of a room and interrogated by some guy (wilbur). but, while doing so, both tommy and techno notice phil.

hi.. not to bring angst into your inbox.. but have you thought about what dream's reaction would be to doctor!wilbur regenerating? because I know in some of your earlier au posts, you mentioned how dream would get clingy to wil because he was worried that it wouldn't be wil who came back. so, what would happen when the day that wil leaves finally comes? (<- already crying just thinking about it)

alternatively, is it dream who leaves first? (I can't imagine dream in this au leaving like some of the earlier companions.. but maybe like Rose or Donna where he gets torn away despite what the doctor/wilbur wants, or, worse, he dies because of some danger they find themselves facing).

(crying thinking about them losing each other but also that is such a sad inevitability with every doctor and companion </3)

ah the inevitable tragedy that looms over the doctors and their companions </3.. i think they would still be together at the end, as you might imagine it would be pretty devastating to dream especially because wilbur would be accepting of it or even anticipating it. wilbur having the cosmic experience that he does, and with the help of dream being so wonderful, will be able to work through his existential dread eventually and in the end accept the way he is, the way a timelord is. and he would also earnestly tell dream that spending all that time with him was the best decision he could've made. wilbur would finally face his present reality fully instead of trying to run away from it, but the fact that it would happen as regeneration is imminent leaving him no time to exist and live with his revelations, dream recognizes how tragic it is.

in my mind dream gets a situation loosely inspired by rose's, dream can somehow communicate with alternate timeline versions of wilbur with all his new advanced knowledge of aliens and their tech that he collected "for research purposes." but of course those doctors don't know who dream is, only that he's extremely familiar and they feel instantly comfortable around him. there are other timelines in the universe where the doctor mysteriously has a human nickname for a while. dream can find peace in knowing wilbur will never truly disappear, even if his wilbur is no longer with him

So, um, uh, basically today on Twitter, uh, some screenshots from 2016 of some video games, uh, were, uh, sort of, uh, sent out into — of, of my screenshots from my steam library. Uh, and in this library, uh, were some screenshots of me playing on a world with an antisemitic name in Factorio and an image of what looks to be, uh, some symbolism of a swastika on the game Ultimate Chicken Horse.

Uh, for those of you that have heard me talk about this before, I, I, I, I've tried to make a lot of great strides in my own morals as a person. Uh, since I was sort of like, that era, that — basically 2015 through to 2017 — I, I was not a very good person. I've been very clear about that, and I definitely am trying to be a better person now, and I hope that I've been able to show that.

Uh, so, so, yeah, that — Those things were not funny and me screenshotting them, and, and finding — ‘cause like, at the end of the day, it's, it's a horrible thing to say, but I, I think I did just really enjoy the dark humor of it, which is ridiculous, and I take full responsibility for how I was then, uh, for that.

And that is beyond me now. That's behind me. Uh, another thing I saw was some posts about, uh, the friends I kept at that time in 2016 and uh, some of those friends, I, I, I still speak to today. Uh, however, I — The ones who I don't talk to anymore, I had no idea they, uh, they, they had that kind of message. I, I, I disagreed politically with a lot of people around that time who I, who I still spent time with, as I generally didn't have too many people to hang out with, so you can't really alienate too many people out of that.

But, um, uh, I had no idea it went to that level and the, and the digging that was done has proven to me yes, that, that, that was bad of them. They shouldn't have done that. And if I'd known at the time, I, I wouldn't have associated myself with them. I can assure you.

Um, yeah. And I'm sure they can speak for themselves on the topic too, but I, I have very little — I wish I had more to say on it, honestly. Uh, I, I'm not the, I, I, I really wish I did. Uh, I, I'm just immensely sorry and I apologize if it upset or changed anyone's opinion on me. Uh, yeah, I hope, I hope you are all doing well though.

And I hope it's doing good. Most Gigorithian Subraces have a history of being very social, usually living in packs that can sometimes contain other Subraces. This is how Archons, Dracozens, and Mythos haven’t eliminated each other, their ancestors were able to play well with others while at the same time staying resourceful enough to thrive. In modern day Gigorith, a lot of these subspecies have become less pack oriented, and moreso family based, typically living in large family dwellings. If a Gigorithian lives alone, it’s safe to say they may not have had good family ties, or no ties at all to begin with. This is dangerous to the mental health of some species, and can lead to anxiety, clinginess, refusal to change, or even a complete shut down from society. So why do I bring this up?

Tommy was separated from his family pack at that crucial age where he learns how packs work and how to find and form one that best suits him and his mutuals. Being the runt of the family group, only his parents loved him. Unfortunately no body else did, and ditched him. (Might write a backstory to this later :v) So one day while out strolling through the vast coniferous forests of northern Pyron, he stumbles upon something that peaks his interest, and that he wants…

They had been stranded for three days. Wandering a seemingly infinite giant forest hiding from giant monsters of aliens. They were tired, hungry, and slow, they were hopelessly lost, and were starting to lose faith in their captain. Phil could tell the rest of his crew was losing morale. The group was slowly phasing into a line, Phil knew they would have to stop and rest soon, the sun was sinking below the horizon.

Unbeknownst to them a predator was watching in the shadows, they peaked the hunter’s interest as he clicked his teeth together quietly, matching the volume of the wildlife around him. He spotted one of them, his electric blue tongue running over his barescale muzzle. This one was the biggest and looked to be the strongest, so he quickly struck, running in, grabbing the human in his jaws, and disappearing undetected, his lightweightedness was only detected as a breeze. He felt the tiny creature squirm and assault his tongue with whatever weapons it had, squealing horrendously like it had been murdered. He simply pushed it into his mouth deeper and ran his tongue along it, a Smokey flavor with a fierce kick, he enjoyed it. He tilted his head back, and swallowed, following the scent back to the creatures and feeling the little creature slide into his storage stomach (which I’m calling a crop btw).

When he returned they were still in their line, so he plucked another the same way, his feathered tail disturbed the undergrowth as he disappeared once more to store his catch.

Phil heard this and the three turned around, he knew something was off.

“Wil, where’s Techno and Tubbo?” Ranboo asked quietly, holding his rifle nervously. Phil’s heart skipped a beat. Tubbo and Techno never left the group without saying anything, so that only left one possible option; they were being picked off.

“I don’t know, but we gotta keep moving.” Wilbur said. “We aren’t safe out in the open, and if one of those monsters is out here we’re sitting ducks trying to climb a tree. We can look for them tomorrow we’re exposed and out of our element.” Phil sighed, Wilbur had a point, it was no use looking for them if they were tired and unable to take cover.

“Weapons out, keep your eyes and ears peeled. They’re everywhere,” he said, as the three got closer together. They were onto the Sickle-Claw, he could see it. They started making their way towards the cover of the undergrowth.

The young Archon put his talons over his crop, feeling the two humans struggling and fighting against his body. Tommy sighed quietly, he wasn’t done here yet. He picked up a rock and threw it at a tree on the opposite side of where he was, it made a loud “Thunk!,” catching their attention. Tommy rushed out and snagged one of the humans, unfortunately the other two watched his jaws scoop up the eldest one. The human struggled in his maw and he didn’t bother hiding, he stood there at the other side of the trail, opened his jaws a little to let the human slide deeper into his maw, and swallowed. He looked down at them and froze, not sure of what to do next.

Ranboo and Wilbur watched in horror as the lizard-faced alien swallowed their captain, then looked at them. The creature began warbling, like it was trying to communicate with them,

“Sorry about this little guys, but you’ll be fine, it’s just a storage stomach,” Tommy said, pointing to his crop. The other two didn’t understand him as they backed away and ran. Tommy grunted with annoyance and gave chase.

One thing Sickle-Claws we’re known for was their speed and agility, Tommy wasn’t too agile, but the humans definitely wouldn’t get very far.

Wilbur was behind Ranboo, until the taller human’s legs intertwined and he tripped over himself. Wilbur paused and looked behind him, but the creature was already getting too close, he made his decision and sprinted away, noting the Archon stopped and picked up Ranboo.

Tommy quickly examined the squealing human in his talons, making sure he was okay before sliding him into his mouth and swallowing. He found this one’s taste odd, like a Black Cellberry (think a black raspberry and blueberry combined). Tommy was about to look for the last one when he suddenly felt something hit him on the face. He snarled and turned his attention to a branch, Wilbur was perched and shooting at the Archon.

“Let my fucking crew go you overgrown fossil!” He cried out as he kept shooting the Archon. To Tommy he was about as effective as a squirter pistol as the Archon ran up to Wilbur. The human barely leapt out of the way of the mighty jaws, catching a glimpse of his sharp serrated teeth as he fell to the forest floor. Annoyingly his gun was out of reach now, all he had to do was outlast the predator and hope it’ll give up, so he could try to save his friends. While it did seem like the Teen Archon was heavy from his meal, he was still fast. Wilbur sprinted off, adrenaline carrying him, but it wasn’t enough as suddenly he was snatched up by greedy talons.

Everything was moving so fast he barely processed he was stuffed into the creature’s maw, the electric blue tongue sloshing him around, soaking him in thick saliva. Wilbur started shouting and kicking as he felt gravity shift. He made a desperate grab and managed to hoist himself onto the uvula of the massive creature, hearing it gag and make a sort of surprised squawk.

Tommy didn’t think the human would be smart enough to cling to his uvula. He reached into his mouth and tried to find Wilbur, his claw blindly swinging in the damp and dark cavern. Wilbur yelped and kicked the claw, he was slipping. He looked down at the throat below, it was waiting for him, a fleshy tube that led to certain death, maybe he should give up. The giant already ate his friends, they were probably dead by now, especially with how active the predator was.

He was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts and back into panic mode when the claw successfully sheered him off the dangling flesh. He fell into the awaiting throat and was dragged down with a final scream getting cut off and a sickening loud “Gulp!!” Wilbur gave it his best effort but he was no match against the powerful muscles of the beast, as he was deposited into what he thought was the stomach.

“Fuck, he got you too.”

Wilbur looked up and saw the rest of the crew sitting around in the stomach. Techno was brandishing his knife, Tubbo was disgusted by the caked on saliva and mucus, Phil looked up from his hands in his knees, Ranboo was curled up in a fetal position trying to calm a panic attack. Wilbur started sobbing in confusion and relief as he hugged Phil.

“We’re gonna die aren’t we?” He asked.

“Actually, I don’t think we are, but we’d probably be better off dead. I think this one is taking us back to its best of sorts.” Tubbo suggested. “Maybe to keep us as pets, or slaves. Maybe some kind of mating ritual where the guy brings the girl food, like penguins did when they still existed!”

Wilbur wiped his nose as Phil tried to sit up. “He looks, young though, and like a weird velociraptor. Maybe the pet idea isn’t too far fetched. All we know now is until he decides what to do with us, we’re not getting out.”

Meanwhile, Tommy felt heavy. He had stored animals before and random items that he knew were safe to swallow when he didn’t have pockets, but living things? Now he was starting to regret his decision, but pushed on back home. He’d rest then let them out tomorrow. He actually had a good feeling about what he was planning, whether these little creatures liked it or not he was going to bond with them. Afterall, it’s what his race had evolved to do.

(The end! For now. Tommy has acquired friends! Or at least he wants them to be his friend. Lone Sickle-claws are usually obsessive and clingy, and will not take no for an answer when it comes to bonding. Unfortunately the humans don’t know this so they don’t realize this behavior is a result of improper childcare during critical years. If this gets enough attention I’ll post more info on this and even make it an AU.

1. So biggest thing I want to know is how does Tommy know his way around the facility? Like sure memory works but what’s the reasoning for him knowing the layout when most experiments can most likely be conducted in the same space when he’s so small?

2. Is there a language barrier between Wilbur and Tommy? Because you can argue that Wilbur just wouldn’t be able to hear Tommy through the enclosure and was asleep when Wilbur did speak to him.

3. Are the aliens who captured Tommy and Wilbur anyone important or just nameless unknown characters now?

4. Is there anyone else being added to your au that has yet to be mentioned that you’re thinking of adding????

Tommy had managed to escape once before. The material he was being kept in wasn't strong enough to hold him and he broke through (Wilbur parallels lol). He even managed to get pretty far before he was caught. He was moved to a stronger cage, the one he was currently in, that he could not break out of. Unfortunately for Tommy his escape attempt opened up a whole new line of testing. The area around the test grounds was made to be unremarkable to disorientate those who didn't know the way around. But because Tommy is so small he could notice the small details in the walls that separated them, almost like landmarks. Ever since he was captured he work on committing the route to memory.

Yep, there is a language barrier. Because humans are a new species the universal language for space fairing species isn't common knowledge yet. The language barrier would be more prominent when we get back to home base.

They are nameless characters, but they might just happen to pop up again later in the story.

In my current plans there are no other members that are a part of the story but depending on how far this goes I might have them as more minor characters but Sb(ee)I are the ones I am most familiar with and comfortable writing.

Your post mentioning c!wilbur asking “arent you engaged?” LIKE- your interpretation of Wilbur being nervous about the question and Q not listening is soooooo. It’s so. Gmmgmfmmfmdmdmmdmdmfmfmmdnsjdjdjjjfnmdnfj

Like specifically the idea that that question wasn’t entirely intended to be a dig at Q. that it was a simple thought- probably a sudden memory from ghostbur- about if Q was happy and loved. he was nervous, quiet and he didn’t bother to even repeat it.

What if he was afraid of Q being better off? In a selfish way that Wilbur would be aware of- he doesn’t want for Q to be loved. Because no matter what power or who has it over the other- the one thing about them is that their misery of their issues and feeling unloved, loves each other’s company. And in that moment- Wilbur was afraid of the thought of losing that connection to Quackity, a connection from misery, that Wilbur craves more than ever in his alienated state of mind.

I’m normal about them.

It took me by surprise- A mlp tommyinnit fanfiction

yes im aware, this is an mlp au.

i have far too much time on my hands.

Wilbur soot watson was not the brightest unicorn. His brother frequently played pranks on him that if he were to have payed attention, he would have learned not to fall for it. He was a klutz trying to mimic Phil, the griffon that raised him and Techno near the town called Ponyville. Despite these things, he was a unicorn with potential.

What he, however, wasn't an idiot. The figure shuffling in the woods while he and his brother were playing catch. Wilbur, being curious and adventurous, went to investigate and see who it was.

A dangerously thin, red stallion foal with a blonde, messy mane and wings was cowering before Wilbur.

Shit. it was a foal.

Now where does he begin? it was a lovely morning, just days after him and his brothers birthday. The 14-year old stallion had recently gotten his cutie mark, courtesy of his talent with music, and the trusty guitar gifted to him by Phil and Techno. The one thing he wished for days ago, however, was a little brother. He wanted someone he could prank the same way Techno did, someone to share and teach about the things he liked. When he told Phil, the blonde griffon gave a chuckle and said ”maybe, Wil”.

Now, however, he was more focused on getting the frightened foal to safety, not wanting a timberwolf or whatever lurked this deep in the forest to snatch the young one.

“Its ok! Im not gona hurt you. Are you lost? Where are your family?” Wilbur asked the foal. His fear shifted to curiosity and confusion, like the kind words Wilbur asked were alien to him. The unicorn beckoned him to the lighter, less shady part of the forest near his house, not wanting to startle the poor boy. ‘He must be all alone.’ Wilbur thought as the foal bounded towards him, with a bit more enthusiasm in his eyes than before. He would have to ask more questions if he wanted to know for sure though. Techno and Phil almost lept onto Wilbur as they saw the nervous child in front of them. Phil, immediately neing affected by his dad senses, held his claw out to the foal, at first looking scared, but then being taken aback and shaking it in a shock of suprise. They had soon come to learn the foals name was Tommy, that he was indeed, alone, and that he was desperate for affection.

Phil, that day, gladly took Tommy into their home. Wilbur truly did gain a brother that day.

But then one day, Wilbur noticed something. How he didn’t enjoy food that much, or that he become worried sick when Phil or the twins got mysteriously weak. Wilbur then had another question: why the sudden weakness from time to time? He had been sick before, but it didnt feel quite the same way it did when that sudden feeling came along. it felt…draining, and Tommy would distance himself whenever it had happened to the three. Was he connected to it?

..No, Wilbur refused to believe anything was wrong with Tommy, it had been a year and he would not just go blaming his 10-year old brother for something as coincidental as this.

The next day, after him and Tommy had their fair share of fun, Wilbur felt that feeling again. That tired and weak feeling, like the joy he felt being with his younger brother had drained him. The poor stallion felt guilty, yet again keeping his distance ans beening consoled by Phil. Something Wilbur noticed from the comfort of his room to where Tommy and his dad were, the pegasus’s eyes flashed a nonreflective blue. The same color of his eyes, but wrong.

Ok, maybe something was off.

Wilbur spent the next day at the library with Tommy to maybe brush off his worries. Tommy spent his time with his new friends, Tubbo, a earth pony, and Ranboo, a deer/pony hybrid, as Wilbur checked through a book about changelings.

The book contained information on creatures known to replace loved ones and feed off of the affection, until nothing was left. Glowing blue eyes, holes littering their hooves, and a bug-like appearance. All Wilbur could think of the moment it mentioned the eyes, he thought of nothing but Tommy’s eyes glowing for the first time.

Fuck. Was his beloved brother a..changeling?

That night, Techno had been groaning in annoyance more tired than usual. Wilbur had learned it was because when a changeling fed, it made its victim weaker and more open to smothering from the one feeding off of them, a vicious cycle. Wilbur was terrified, his brother was possibly a changeling! He could hurt any one of them! But Wilbur had seen Tommy guilty and sad whenever his family was tired from his ”feeding”, and the foal never acted in a way that made it clear he was harmful.

Wilbur decided he would confront Tommy that day, whether or not his brother was a changeling he intended to make it known he loved him either way.

“Tommy, i need to ask you something.” Wilbur asked with a worried expression, Tommy looking in confusion.

“I’ve noticed something…off. And I need to know if this is true.” Wilbur tensed up as Tommy became more afraid, before finally asking the question he dreaded.

“Is there a chance you’re a changeling, Tommy?”

A flash of green flames came from the anxious pegasus, becoming exactly like the description in ghe book: A dark grey, bug-like creature with a sharp horn and a unusual mane, the glowing blue eyes he had seen briefly flash before. The creature, Tommy, fell to the floor bawling in grief as his secret was discovered and his dad and brother came in to see the trainwreck.

“I’m sorry! I’ll be good, I promise! I dont want to hurt anypony! Please, im sorry!” Tommy bawled as Wilbur looked to him with grief. Oh fuck.

“Tommy, breathe! Breathe in, breathe out. You’ll be okay, Tommy, i swear.” Wilbur softly spoke as him and his family curled around the changeling.

After the tears had been cleaned and Tommy was finally calm again, He had explained everything.

He was born outside of an hive, his egg being found by a young couple. Disgusted by him, they gave him to a stallion by the name of Dream. The poor changeling foal was put through fear and paranoia as the stallion taking care of him would starve him until he could not control himself, and to blame him for what was his fault. He eventually had broken the last straw and Dream attempted to kill him, sending the boy flying to where the Sleepy Bois lived. After everything, the three had realized they still loved him, even if he was a love-eating bugpony.

Tommy was their changeling, and they wouldn’t change a thing.
