-They don’t have to leave marks on your skin. He can control how gently they grip you. He chooses to leave marks.

-His absolute favorite thing to do is to use his tentacles to hold your arms still and spread your legs open. For the longest moment, he won’t even touch you. He likes inspecting you, seeing how aroused he’s making you, watching you writhe in his hold.

-Tentacle fucking? Tentacle fucking.

-The tips are rather thing and sensitive, like weird little fingertips, and he can wiggle them inside you while the girthy part of his tentacle is pumping in and out. Which makes for some very intense orgasms.

beej has shades of ursula in this in that hes got weird ocean magic and can allow lydia to turn into a merperson- she doesnt agree for a while due to not trusting weird sea demons with ominous pacts but eventually gets fed up and relents. they have fun tormenting the local seaside town together

beejs main pitch to her in this au is like 'hey yknow what'd REALLY scare your dad. if you went missing at sea with me. cmon bestie' and when lyds stops entertaining this notion because as much fun as shes having, she doesnt really want to do that- he decides well IM going up on land then >:( and thats when he starts conspiring to make a second deal with her to Get Legs (and also maybe revenge on former friends who start ditching him)

you know what time it is. its time for Even More Of This. here’s some bonus thoughts i’ve been having to go along w/ the doodles-

beetlefish is sort of an amalgamation of every fish I find cool and can do weird fish things, so he has pharyngeal jaws and produces copious amounts of hagfish slime as a defence mechanism. he could probably also do that horrid thing sea cucumbers can do with their digestive system too but every time he’s offered to show her, lydia punches him because gross, no,

he also ties himself in knots like hagfish do. honestly just. look up a gif of a hagfish and how they move and that’s how I imagine him. slipperiest bastard in the ocean

i imagine in this au it’s less ‘lydia is the first person to see him’ and more ‘lydia is the first person to see him without screaming and throwing objects at him’ since I cant imagine he’s had much luck with human friendships in the past. so he immediately adopts her as an honorary sea monster and best friend :V
