Akira: Wow, they really are! The bag looks like it's full of scoops of tiny stars...! These are probably unique to the Star Festival, right? That must make it an extra special treat.

Mitile: You can have some if you want, Master Sage! On top of being super cute, they're also really yummy.

Akira: Really? Thank you!

Akira: .....Mm! They're light and fluffy, and not too sweet - I bet you could eat a ton of these and not feel full.

Mitile: Take as many as you want. It would be a big help...

Akira: "Help"? Did you accidentally buy too many?

Mitile: Um, you see... At this shop, when you buy ten items, they'll give you this bonus star-shaped charm.

Mitile: See, there are two big stars and two little stars, connected to make a pattern of four, kinda like us Southern wizards.

Akira: You're right...! It's even painted the perfect shade of green to represent all of you.

Mitile: Exactly! ...That's why I want to get three more charms, so I can bring them back as souvenirs for us.

Mitile: I feel like if we all have something matching like that, then even on days like today when we can't be together, we won't get too lonely.

Mitile: Still, no matter how delicious these sweets are, I'd probably end up with a stomachache if I tried to eat so many of these all by myself......

Akira: Well, then - if that's the case, I'm happy to help. Let's go buy lots of sweets and take home matching charms for everyone!

Made my dad a buffalo fried chicken and rice w cheese wrap for lunch w smoked cheddar and dill havarti slices for side and cinnamon sugar apple wedges and sliced carrots, celery, and pickles w TWO dips a buffalo ranch and a BBQ aioli :)

#also he has cherry yogurt and lemon merangue pudding for dessert #he also has a peanutbutter chocolate nut sugar cookie trail mix he keeps in his truck if he needs sugar :)

Once the announcement of the transfer is made, Lewis asks bodyguard Daniel to teach him Italian

And it was the worst decision he ever made because he is not learning a single word and is seconds away from ripping off both their clothes

Daniel said he would teach Lewis by immersion and teaches him words randomly. When Lewis is making lunch, Daniel tells him the Italian words for sandwich- panino, and spatula- spatola.

When they’re watching a documentary together, Daniel starts talking in his best Attenborough impersonation- Lewis has no idea what he said but the way Daniel’s lips formed the words captivated him.

Lewis walks in on Daniel talking to Roscoe in Italian, he knows the cadence of the phrase ‘who's a good boy’ in any language. And clearly Roscoe knows it too if his joy was anything to go by.

When they’re out for a run, Daniel narrates things he sees, telling Lewis to repeat certain words breathlessly. Lewis could hardly pay attention to anything past the sound of Daniel’s sharp, punched out exhales of his name.

He thought having Daniel in his home would have been problematic with how attractive Lewis found him. With how funny and loud Daniel was and how he gained a quiet intensity when they’d be out and something caught his attention and his training would click on.

Lewis didn’t anticipate that added on top of all of that competency cake was a fucking vegan merangue of ‘fluent in a whole nother language’.

Lewis was fucked.

Mister Shaw, if you don't mind me asking, do you have a favorite dessert? I have heard of dessert wines and I was wondering if you consider them sufficient in that role

"I'm not big on excessively sweet things. Something like babka or panna cotta is what I'm likely to indulge in. As for dessert wines, they're more meant to be paired with desserts than as one. Ruby port pairs well with chocolate desserts and salted caramel, for instance, whilst its pink and rose cousins might be better suited to accompany some lemon merangue, a madeira with  toffee pudding or tiramisu, and sauternes with creamy confections like creme brulee, custard, or cheesecake. So, if I were to have that panna cotta, I'd probably have it with a glass of that last one. That said, if I am to have have a dessert wine on its onesome, I tend to go for a good Amarone della Valpolicella. It tends to be dark and rich, and is almost like a chocolate cherry cake in liquid form, just less sweet than that would be. Of course, occasionally a craving for a proper pie hits, and then I just suffer instead."
