So Cartoon Network Studios is being shut down/ merged with the Warner Brothers Animation studios thanks the the discovery merger

Dozens of people were laid off because of it.

The future of the Network is up in the air now. Future shows, future plans, shows that had been ordered may be canceled.

This what capitalism breeds. It does not breed creativity. It breeds greedy practices that rip creativity apart until they can get every last penny stuck in the folds.

I am so devastated for the workers and their families.

I'm so sad for the state of the animation industry right now.

I hope everyone who lost their job is able to find work quickly or find help and support from their loved ones.

Game Over for the FTC. The Court of Appeals has officially denied their request for injunctive relief meaning that the merger between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King can officially be closed and completed in the United States. Its hard to state how much of a big L this is for Sony really since its pretty clear they were likely lobbying hard to kill this deal.
