Some locker art I did last year, from my latest to my earliest. Psychonauts piece was done at the height of my Psychonauts Brainrot after I just got into the game, TOH piece was done in celebration of the release of Season 2B, and the Mermaid piece was just a doodle I did for fun while listening to "Turn Loose The Mermaids" by Nightwish and getting a lil spark of artistic inspiration. The mermaid was my first piece out of the bunch. Don't know if I can carry on decorating my locker like this next year since some dumb butt ruined it for everyone. But since we're allowed to use removable decor like stickers/posters etc. (initial rule was we could draw/decorate our lockers as long as it was removable and/or erasable like with whiteboard markers due to the wood glaze), gonna see if I can get a lil creative next year with some scotch tape and sketchbook paper.

Plus a lil bonus doodle of our baby boi on the inside of my locker door

Disclaimer: DO NOT attempt this at school/place of work. These 3 works were initially done with full permission from principal and staff but purely due to circumstance as the wood I did this on was specially varnished in a special layering or glaze that made it whiteboard like in nature to do this. Something which not all wooden lockers have. Don't think this can be attempted on Metal either by any means. I only started doing this with my white board markers after I asked the homeroom teacher and the principal specially for permission if I could doodle on my locker since the white board markers are erasable with hand sanitizer/soap and water + an old toothbrush as well as just your hand. Just as a PSA because I don't want to accidentally get someone in trouble.

I drew this as a belated Mother’s Day gift, but it’s also for MerMay month because mermaid.

Here is Atargatis, or at least my depiction of her in a really old story of mine. According to the internet, she is the following:

Atargatis is said to be the mermaid who was the original inspiration for all mermaid stories. She was an Assyrian Goddess. She was said to be the goddess of the moon, fertility and water and was worshipped 3000-4000 years ago in ancient Assyria and later all over the Mediterranean.

I gave her a different body type compared to most characters I’ve designed in the past. Hers is curvier and thicker, which is appropriate to her mother goddess status.

This was finished in two days, starting from 5 PM to 8 AM. I was pretty exhausted by the time I was done. I’m glad I managed to make it in time for MerMay and caught up to Mother’s Day even though it was belated. I had fun designing her tail. Someday I’ll make a full body rendition of her with her tail in complete display.

JD: Mermaid Besties

Okay, so I just found out that Song 2 C2 & Jumpin' were drawn to be mermaids that I found on Instagram, so I decided to draw them as Mermaid Besties just sitting over on the bridge to the lake in the night just chilling on the lake as mermaids. I hope it turned out really nice since I've done this fanart since Eliza just made them nicely on Instagram which surprised me very cool, but positively, I hope you guys like it!
