What does Meera cook for Ethan to make him feel better after a long day? What does Ethan make for her when the roles are reversed?

I love this question Bree! Thank you so much for sending this to me. 💜

So Meera makes Ethan spaghetti and meatballs or grilled cheese and tomato soup. It's quick, it's easy and there is nothing like basics to warm you up at the end of a long day, and Ethan allows the carbs and cheese because he knows he'll be getting a workout in that night. Cause the actual meal is waiting for him in the bedroom. 😏

All Meera wants at the end of a long day is a taste of home. That's when Ethan whips up the recipes he gathered from her mom and pulls out a particular comfort food of hers : Aloo Posto. It's a potato curry cooked with poppy seed paste, a family recipe passed down to Ethan by Meera's mother. Watch Meera wait patiently at the kitchen counter watching her husband work his magic and ocassionally drool because this dish is immensely fragrant and waiting for it is not as easy as it sounds.

BONUS : when both of them have had a particular long day they pick up Chinese takeout and sprawl over the couch putting on a nonsense show wrapped around in each other's arms. 💜

“Look at this man! A literal angel, serving me with heavenly looks every. single. day.” her eyes widen, looking at the picture with amazement.

A boisterous laugh escaped from between Ethan’s pursed lips.

“I’m guessing we have to keep it PG-13 here,” she smiled coyly, looking back at her husband with a coquettish glint in her eyes. “To give you some context, Bree, we decided to hit the beaches for our honeymoon and visit Lombok and Bali!”

“Prepare yourself to see Ethan Ramsey in beach mode, Bree,” Marchia grinned like a Cheshire cat. 

“I probably have 1000 pictures of him just from our honeymoon,” her face glowed red. “He’s such a dreamboat.”

“These last two are pictures of us. There weren’t many people around, so most of our pictures together used self-timer,” she elaborates further. “I love how he spontaneously took my hand for the photos.”

3. Favorite outfit(s) on him?

“I’m obsessed with him, Bree. Obsessed. I’m his number one fan,” she replied passionately, followed by an unrestrained laugh. “So, as I mentioned before, he looks good wearing anything.”

“But we have been going to the same gym since we got married, and I have to say.... Ethan in a sweatshirt and a cap? Sexy. I wish I could rip it off right then and there.”

“Maybe you can,” he returned without hesitation, his piercing blue eyes taunting her.

4. What does your home look like?

“Right now, we still live in Ethan’s apartment,” she explained. “The place is modern, sleek. Ever since I moved in two years ago, I’ve added a couple furnishing to give it a little bit more... personality.”

“Are you implying that I don’t have a personality before?” Ethan blinked at her, scrunching his face. She replied with a giggle.

“But we’re planning to move to a small house in about six months.”

“You’ve guessed it,” shaking her head, she lets out a sigh.

“Arguably, she looks good wearing anything and nothing at the same time,” he cleared his throat, showing a devilish smile. “But the purple dress she wore during a charity gala last year has a special place.”

“Rest in peace to that dress, man. He completely ripped it in ten seconds,” Marchia released a hearty laugh.

“Her dream getaway is Japan, which isn’t a surprise for her anymore because she saw the flight tickets I bought two weeks ago,” he rolled his eyes at her.

“In addition, she specifically requested Tokyo DisneySea.”

“Unfortunately... it was a meme,” Ethan pinched the bridge of his nose, shoulders deflating in defeat.

Eve: Honestly, neither. But I suppose if he had to choose he’d go for wine. I don’t know what he has against beer.

Ethan: It tastes like stale bread sweetheart.

Eve: No it doesn’t! It’s also a classic hockey game drink! On that note though, when we go to games, he never even gets beer. He gets the tiny cups of the fancy stuff.

A cruise or camping

Eve: Definitely a cruise. Ethan hates bugs with a passion. One time we tried to go camping and he woke me up in the middle of the night and said to help him pack up because he wanted to go home. *laughing* He couldn’t even last one night!

Ethan: You already know why I wanted to go home. The crickets were way too loud and I got bitten in places I’d rather not say.

Eve: *shows phone* Here’s the one picture I have of him from that day looking positively miserable.

Horror Movie or Chick Flick

Eve: I think a chick flick.

Ethan: Nope, you’ve earned your first strike.

Eve: What?! I thought you didn’t like horror.

Ethan: I don’t like horror, but you dislike it even more than me, so when you get scared you hide your face under the blanket and snuggle next to me.

Eve: So sneaky Dr. Ramsey. You know you don’t have to watch something we both dislike just to get me to snuggle with you right?

Ethan: I know. I like to feel like I’m protecting you from something though.

Eve: Awwwwwww.

Eve: Stay at home. No questions asked.

Get up early or Stay up late

Eve: Ethan is one of those people that can stay up late and still wake up early. I don’t know how someone could be his age and still function on like, four hours of sleep.

Ethan: You talk as though I’m ancient. Yes, this is where we’re opposites. Evelyn is the biggest night owl and not much of a morning person if she isn’t working.

Bree: So what do you do if she isn’t working that morning, but you need her to get up early?

Ethan: Aside from something I can’t say, I just put a slice of pizza or cup of coffee near her face. She wakes up in a instant.

Eve: You did not have to mention the pizza.

Ethan: Yes I did. You started the battle when you showed that camping picture.

Ethan, would Evelyn rather?

Ethan: Cook dinner for sure. The problem with Evelyn, is that she like to cook and bake but hates washing up the stuff.

Eve: There are dishwashers for a reason.

Ethan: Okay, but what if, for your sake without wishing, it broke?

Eve: Umm…..ask you to do them?

Ethan: Well, you always ask anyway.

Diamonds or Pearls

Ethan: She prefers diamonds, but she’ll specifically tell you that she doesn’t like big ones.

Live in the city or Live in the country

Ethan: The city. She told me once that she likes to be right in the middle of the action.

Eve: Heeey, I remember that! And you responded by saying that one would think I already get plenty of action.

Ethan: Yes, and I remember specifically saying that I meant in your casework. *pokes Eve’s forehead* Your mind is too dirty.

Walk on the beach or Dance in the club

Ethan: This is the one time where Eve would actually rather do a more relaxing activity. She doesn’t like clubbing regularly so walk on the beach.

Travel overseas or Explore locally

Ethan: This is by far the toughest question.

Eve: There’s not a right or wrong answer.

Ethan: Evelyn likes to travel, but her biggest issue is that she’s scared of planes. I guess I’ll say explore locally, because she likes being in a place that’s familiar and trying something form almost every little restaurant while she does.

Eve: And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. You’re supporting small businesses, eating good food, and because your walking a lot, you’ll burn off what you eat so you don’t have to work out. It’s a great thing.

Ethan: Thank you for having us again Bree.

Eve: That’s my line! I can’t believe you actually said it this time. You never do.

Ethan: Well maybe she’s finally growing on me. *winks at Bree*

Eve: *laughs* Always the charmer. Thanks Bree!
