a little hello

i thought after graduating grad school the inspiration would trickle back in. you know, with time and work returning to a normal "sometimes i have days off" level, that slowly but surely my mind would fill with writing again--ideas, images, lines, characters. that writing high that i think so many of us writers chase.

which was maybe naive, knowing what i know, which is that even when i have time i have to fIGHT for inspiration!!

post grad life has been anything but quiet. i got assigned an insane teaching load, and while i love my job i just still don't have days off.

so here i am, expecting inspiration to just waltz right back in, for the stories to just pop out on the page. but instead i am still busy and still tired, but i don't want to negotiate whether or not i write with busy and tired any more. i just want to write.

ultimately, this week has reminded me of what i already knew: inspiration comes when make myself SIT and quiet everything else and try for the bare minimum.

i've been working a little bit on this sapphic story, and i do hope to share it with you soon. i think about you all more than you know, and i've very much missed being around all of your creative, charming, lovey selves.

sending out extra care on this chilly night.

i actually wanted to give jet a metang but i didnt want to put bebop through that. so he got the little version instead.

#trainer bebop #he was originally supposed to have one from the magnemite line but i also thought that bebop shouldnt go through that. #which is why i switched to the beldum line. but realized that wasnt much better. lmao. #really i wanted jet to have a metag because the shape reminded me of hammerhead. hammerhead should get more love i think. #on the train of thought of scrapped pokemon for jet...i wanted him to have a small cute one. ultimately bedum replaced that spot... #but i wanted something cute for him that would follow him around. a bounsweet or klefki. #yeah i could give him more pokemon eventually but for now i didnt want to give him more than three.

little update

hi friends, i'm super behind on responding to asks and messages and reblogs but i plan to catch up over the next week!

this past week has been one heck of a doozy between moving, traveling, my car breaking down, and starting a new (really exciting) internship. on top of my general workload and all the BTS news. phew. i'm going to take a couple of days to recuperate and then i plan to post a new chapter of sh. (probably saturday? whenever i have a free night really. and boy oh boy am i terrified of posting this chapter... more than any other chapter i've written)

anyways. i hope you all are doing okay and taking care of yourselves. i love you all very very much. mwah! 💜

Okay so a lot of the Bayverse designs, especially the later ones where they were trying to make them overly human do nothing for me....The lack of visible kibble kinda makes them fundamentally bad Transformers, even if they're good Sci-fi robots.

That being said.

MetaGate made a third part AoE Drift triple changer, with the helicopter mode from that one scene....And now they're remoulded it into Bludgeon, which is actually fucking inspired.

Because Bludgeon's most iconic design is his Pretender Shell....So it never had any kibble to start with.

I absolutely want this thing.
