Roswells actor ~John, is a famous Oscar winning actor, he’s a bit old but that’s not stopping him from doing most of his stunts. He’s super nice and sweet, loves his fans and engaging with things related to the show. Always shows up to the panels, sometimes even cosplays Tim. His agent probably told him not to fall for his co-star but that didn’t work. [insp ~ Leonard Nimoy, Doug Jones, Robert Englund]

Rylands actor is just almost the same, maybe with a bit more metalhead vibe. He initially signed up to be casted as some background character. 

Norville is a super model and he’s just kinda weird and silent irl

Chester's actor is kind of an ass lmao

James and Felicia are married and Charlie is their adopted son

Oscar is Russian and is also a menace  [insp ~ Jake Gyllenhaal]

POV you explain the now clearer timeline of Benrey's life - and body shape changes - in the Metalhead!Gordon AU to your partner in crime (aka. Syber, who basically has been writing the whole thing with me behind the scenes along with other stories) and even just a simplified sketch of Ben's kaiju face for it turns out to be incredibly unnerving!

And I honestly couldn't be happier that I made sure that his reptilian-like skull has front-facing eyes. :)

bit odd, but since mentioning you were thinking about bringing back Metalhead!Gordon again (most beloved man, love him, thank you lol) have you seen Jesse Miller on tiktok? the man gives me MHGordon vibes every single time, and i can't not think of Gordon just randomly making screamy noises for funsies

Oh yes, I have seen that man! More on here than TikTok itself because I honestly can't be arsed to use that site (also my old phone can not handle it) - but I agree!!

MH!Gordon's main stims is making little noises, humming, just singing - and also the most gutteral screams you've ever hear in your entire life.

Honestly, that's why his Joshua is still so delighted in making loud noises as well, even when the Kaiju War (and following Xen Invasion) is over and they don't need an almost deafening alarm in their home anymore. The little orb just hears his had make Loud Noise™ and wants to do the same!

Also, and this is a bit of lore I'll get into on my stream about the man - it does not help that Metal is now more closer to a Kaiju than ever, to the point that it somewhat influences his own body. While he does not have Ben's "sonar attack" by a longshot, I think he can actually do some damage with certain noises.

Was diving thru the metalhead au tag again (the au lives in my brain rent free, even if it is dormant) and noticed something in the art.

Gordon's prosthetic is different. Is that a fun design thing or is it a Plot ™️ thing? Like did smth change about how he forst lost it or does he get injured again or infected-

It's no bother at all! I love talking about that AU even after all this time. After all, my buddy Syber and I have been adding more things to the plot after I stopped writing the fanfic & the art (though I might return to both in the future). Because it's been a while since I talked about that AU, let me type out exactly how we got to Metal getting a new prosthetic, because yes, something did happen that caused him to need a new prosthetic. It was a kaiju fight.

After the plot that I originally had planed for the fanfic - aka. the ResCas happening for Metal's universe & Xen flora & fauna mutating because of the kaiju remains still on his world, as well as Ben regaining his memories & figuring out that he's a kaiju - Metal & his Science Team would start working at PPDC full-time.

During that time Metal also gets in contact with the universe where the Freemanverse AU happens… and becomes somewhat of helper between them and his own universe, as they want to help rebuilding things, as well as fighting the Combine.

And well… they do need weapons. But the PPDC can't give them those. Who in Hong Kong would have no issue exchanging weapons for perhaps untainted xen creatures? Hannibal Chau.

So Metal, Mind & Eddie have to deal with that man and his crew for a long time, if they like it or not. One positive things is Chau's right-hand-man, Ed, Metal's version of Eddie. At that point Ed basically runs Chau's company, as Chau is not handling his kaiju blue poisoning well - which canon to the PR comics, where Chau actively starts cloning kaiju for parts.

Even though the scientist Chau hired assured him that the clones were brain dead… they weren't. And one late summer-time evening 4 kaiju clones erupted from Chau's basement.

Metal and his team were dispatched to deal with those, which they did. Some better than others, as Metal's Jaeger got its arm torn off by the kaiju, frying the nerves in the arm that had already lost a good chunk before.

This whole mess ends in Ed being gravely injured in the chaos, furious that Chau did this behind his back, Chau meeting his end by Ed's hands… and Metal despite his state rushing Ed to the PPDC medical wing by carrying him in the arm that still works.

It's Dr Coomer who offers to operate Metal, basically giving him a spine replacement, as well as the shoulder blade and entire arm. After all, he did the same for Ed when that man barely survived a mutated-ant-lion attack and lost both of his arms in the process. (Kind of.) Metal agrees to it, of course.

The initial prosthetic didn't have a gun inside… but the new one transforms the entire arm into one, if triggered by large amounts of fear or anger. Metal's normal anxiety levels don't activate it, thankfully.

Also, the arm can be removed at the shoulder joint with a combination of pressure and pulls that only Metal and the Science Team (later also Ed) know how to do.

Even with his previous one, Metal often went about his day without it on. With the new one, he leaves it off mainly during some nights, especially when the phantom pain hits.

I feel like Newton has had heated "arguments" with his band mates about it, honestly. It's all in good fun, but come on all of their merch has rabbits on it, please, no one ever looks at the shortened band name and thinks that!

POV several folks pulling out their phones and showing Newt that no, people do use that, especially when they think they are slick and try let other fans know about music, merch and concert date leaks.

Both sides of his head are shaved, actually! The man is a walking radiator and prefers to have his hair like that for that reason. Plus, he lives in a very humid climate that would lead to an extremely big and fluffy mess.

ive been curious ever since i found out about mh gordon

what would his favorite color(s) be?

Hmmm. I feel like I said it was just orange a while back, but I am taking that back. I think like he went through a little bit of a journey with what his favourite colour was, for multiple reasons.

It was a deep indigo blue throughout his childhood and early teenage years… and the kaiju happened. Liking any shade of blue became a bit of an "ick" for a lot of people around him at the time, so he looked around and "picked" orange as his favourite colour.

Funnily enough, that lead to him actually liking a lot of warm colours in general - lots of red tones, warm browns and yellows - and he likes them to this day!

Though, after the ResCas and everything, especially being around the Science Team and their antics, he is also very fond of the almost neon colors that represent his friends in his brain.

A bit later in the AU he wouldn't admit it to many people, but he has learned to genuinely love indigo blue once more to the point he'd call it his favourite colour again - as well as the shade of blue that most people in his universe call "kaiju glow" - and you can fully blame/thank his drift with Benrey on that one.
