A little present for @xxtc-96xx's birthday. I hope you have a wonderful day! ^^
This is a drawing of their Mewtwo and their babytwo, Pig. xD
To be honest, I am not that good of a comic artist. But I feel inspired to work better on my own comics every time I read yours, there is so much to enjoy and learn from. I would like to wish you well, and thank you so much for continuing to create more Mewtwo content throughout the years.
I hope you like it. Again, happy birthday! ^^//

Now we know Pig is indeed Mewtwo's baby. xD

Long time, no see! Just wanted to know your thoughts on how did Giovanni know with what to manipulate mewtwo in mewtwo returns? Like how did he know beforehand that mewtwo would seek companionship like he says in the sub? Have a great week ^^
Hi Anon! Thank you for writing in, and I hope you’re having a great week as well. Great question!
Quick recap for those unfamiliar: Giovanni and Domino spy on Mewtwo on Mt. Quena. Domino is surprised to see other cloned Pokemon on the mountain with Mewtwo. Giovanni, however, is not.
“It’s natural that Mewtwo should want to be with its own kind, no matter how unnatural they may be.”
--Giovanni to Domino, Mewtwo Returns (2000) [English]
“As I expected. Even Mewtwo cannot stand solitude. It needed companions.”
--Giovanni to Domino, Mewtwo Returns (2000) [Japanese]
How did Giovanni anticipate Mewtwo would seek the company of others?
Most likely it’s because Giovanni knows all living beings need social interaction. I think this is fascinating because it hints at how Giovanni has changed how he thinks about Mewtwo.
When Mewtwo was first in Giovanni’s custody, Gio made the grave mistake of regarding him as an unintelligent thing, a tool he could manipulate however he wanted. The consequences were catastrophic to his headquarters and almost killed him.
Now Giovanni knows better. Mewtwo is a living, breathing being with intelligence and emotions like a human. Humans require social interaction for their mental and physical health. Not to mention, Giovanni knows firsthand how isolating Mewtwo in his armor made him go a little nuts. So Giovanni is unsurprised at finding other clones keeping Mewtwo company.
Another theory is Giovanni found evidence of Mewtwo's lab. Perhaps he somehow knows that Mewtwo made a batch of his own clones before tracking him to Mt. Quena. We don't really know how much Gio knows at this point about Mewtwo's shenanigans, if anything.
Either way, Giovanni knows how to manipulate Mewtwo. Exploiting people and Pokemon is what he does for a living, after all. Gio manipulated Mewtwo with promises of knowledge and power back in Kanto. On Mt. Quena, Mewtwo has both of these things and something even more important: friends and family.
As any villain knows, if you want the powerful good guy to do what you want, you threaten those they care about. And so Giovanni threatens the clones to get what he wants from Mewtwo.
