Finally a character info post of my RE8 OC :) her outfits are based on clothing I actually own ( Edit: currently designing a more setting-appropriate outfit. Edit again: pre-RE8 outfit here )
[ I decided to change her name from Lexie to Faye since there are already two characters named Alex and Alexia in the RE universe fkjadslf ]
Name: Faye Lee | Age: Late 20s | Height: 170 cm (5′7″)
Also known as “Miranda’s Watchdog” - acts as a warden for the villagers and a spy, as well as keeping an eye out for outsiders to report their presence and activity to Miranda
Main ability: Power Mimicry - can replicate abilities of others infected by the Cadou or the Mold
Limitations: Another mutant must be in close proximity for the power mimicry to work, essentially being powerless when on her own; only one power can be imitated at a time and is temporary; extended usage can severely exhaust the body; shapeshifting (especially copying mutated forms) is not preferable since reverting to original form causes physical pain
Other abilities & skills: Enhanced agility & strength, night vision, regeneration (slower compared to the four lords, Miranda, and Ethan but can be accelerated when using the power mimicry ability), fang protrusion (when angered), canine companionship (can befriend any canines including the Varcolaci instantly; does not work on Lycans but they tend to avoid her unless provoked), uncanny stealth, sharpshooting proficiency
The more times she replicates a specific power, she will be able to develop an augmented form of that power (i.e. the amount of times she’s spent with Heisenberg has given her the abilities to reshape (or even melt) metal pieces and produce strong electric shocks). Miranda is unaware of this.
If replicating the other lords’ or Miranda’s shapeshifted mutated form, her appearance will appear differently (i.e. when copying Miranda’s mutated bird form, she would resemble more like a hummingbird instead of a crow like some mutated Tooth Fairy from ROTG)
Was an outsider who was seemingly on a solo hiking trip and was attacked one night when some Lycans came upon her camp somewhere near the outskirts of the village. Miraculously survived the attack but was on the verge of death when found by Miranda who described her as being “almost torn into two.” This attack left her with extensive scarring on her abdominal area which she feels self-conscious of.
Awoke with seemingly no memories (likely suppression due to trauma) save for her name. Memories of her prior life may have slowly been recovered over the years though she still does not express much interest in leaving and returning to her hometown, even implying that she was a runaway.
Deemed as being an unfit vessel for Eva despite favorable Cadou affinity and normal brain function following the implant although in actuality, is secretly considered as a possible “backup” vessel for Miranda herself.
Resides in the attic of Castle Dimitrescu. Alcina and her daughters were tasked to make observations on her as Miranda may have felt threatened by her power mimicry ability. The daughters don’t take this task seriously.
Described by Heisenberg as being “freakishly chirpy.”
Favorite pastimes include: hunting, taking the Varcolaci on walks (all of whom she named), playing with dolls and sewing clothes with Donna and Angie, banging Heisenberg
Has been living at the village for at least 5 years prior to the events of the game.
Was the one who informed Chris of Miranda’s plan.
When allied with Ethan, I imagine her being like a Lycan & Varcolac repellent for him but as soon as she’s like 15 feet away..

Amber eyes stare back at themselves through a hollow reflection. Darkened circles framing the Exorcist’s eyes signaled a lack of sleep. Up all night tending to the wounded, only allotting herself a short period of rest before she felt as though she were wasting the day away. The exhausted stare focuses back into itself through the worn vanity only when a figure appears over her right shoulder. Where she should be startled, she feels only annoyance.
The figure looked like any other woman, her clothing tattered and frayed at the edges. The only thing setting her apart from the living was the faint transparency through her person and the chilling energy she emits.
“What is it you crave more than anything?” the spirit asks.
“Success.” answered the Inquisitor. A notion that usually reminds others of power and greed. To her it was simply the opposition to failure.
If there is one thing that Sabine knows to be true over all else, it is that she was born to be a servant of the Light. How else could she do the things she can do? If it was not a gift of the holiest nature, then it was a curse sent by the void itself - and that is something she refuses to believe.
“I see, in what?” She inquires with a hollow voice.
“In everything.” Sabine retorts, looking over her shoulder only to find the spirit wasn’t there, until she looks back into the mirror and it was as if she hadn’t moved at all. The spirit lifts her hand and rests it upon Sabine’s shoulder, causing the Inquisitor’s body to feel ice cold. A pang of violent emotion rushes into her, anger, fear, guilt, all things the spirit felt within her death. Her body jolts slightly, gritting her teeth and gripping the wooden seat of her own chair. Sabine had gotten very good at differentiating her own emotions to the emotions of the spirits around her. “Is there something I can help you with, Spirit?” Sabine hisses out, venom in her tone.
“Of course. But not yet.” She releases Sabine, watching color return to her face as her blood rushes hot again. “In the meantime, try to make some friends. You’ll need them in the trials ahead, Sister.”
Sabine’s pride bubbles, bitterly huffing through her nose. “Forgive me for being hesitant to take advice from the dead.”
To which the spirit replies with a smile. “Or don’t. The choice is yours.”
Abruptly, Sabine stands from her seat and turns, walking through the space where the spirit was and proceeding to ready herself for the day in silent menace.
