So, about those My Hero Academia Spoilers

Since I’ll be talking about events in the manga that have yet to be animated and a large portion of the fandom has therefore not had a chance to see them, I’ll avoid any details that may spoil too much.

People upset about chapters 362 and 363 and the spoilers therein will do well to remember that a character who has the power to reverse injuries is still in play. I do believe that Horikoshi has laid the ground work for a character with the ability to heal fatal injuries. We’ve seen prior to this arc that said character is able to heal with a surprising degree of control. However, if I’m right I will actually give up on the series because once death has no consequence the drama will be completely gone from the series.

I keep thinking about how yandere class 1A would react in the bath scene where Mineta tries to look over the wall divider thingy to see you nakie

Katsuki is trying to blow him up and is climbing up the wall after him to beat him to a pulp

Shoto is trying to help Katsuki while also yelling at Momo and the ladies to cover you

Izuku is holding Mineta by the ankles and trying to hold on as Mineta keeps trying to climb the wall

Eijiro is standing under Katsuki ready to catch him if he falls while simultaneously blushing and getting turned on thinking about you on the other side of the wall

Iida is panicking and desperately lecturing Mineta while Tokoyami yells at him and tries to protect your honour while simultaneously holding back dark shadow from murdering Mineta

Momo and Jiro are wrapping you up in their arms to cover you (and definitely taking advantage of the situation to touch you more than they usually can)

Ochako is using her quirk to lift up Mina who is waiting to drop kick Mineta in the face as soon as his head pops up

That’s ⬆️ Mineta after failing to see you nakie and knowing every member of class 1A is coming for him

MHA: Practical Entrance Exam

I have only seen the Anime up to season 2, I’m waiting for the dubbed version of season 3. I have not read the manga.

How exactly did some of class 1A do well in the practical entrance exam? Assuming all tests were the same (robots in cityscapes), it’s clear the test has a bias slant towards those with combative physical quirks.

I’m also not entirely sure how the classrooms were broken up into A and B. I think it’s implied that the top 20 scores when to Aizawa and the next twenty went to Vlad.

Yuuga Aoyama – Laser Navel: blasts robots

Mina Ashido – Acid Creation: melts robots

Tsuyu Asui – Frog Capabilities: long prehensile tongue can stick and maybe toss robots?

Tenya Iida – Engines in Calves: Strong kicks can destroy robots

Ochako Uraka – Gravity Displacement: Breaks robots by floating them high and releasing them

Mashirao Ojiro – Strong Prehensile Tail: Bashes robots

Denki Kaminari – Electricity: Fries robots

Eijirou Kirishima – Hardening: Bashes robots

Kouji Kouda – Animal Compulsion: Compel a hoard of animals to destroy robots?

Rikidou Satou – Enhanced strength via consuming sugar: Bashes robots

Mezou Shouji – Dupli-Arms: Strong enough to bash robots

Kyouka Jirou – Earphone jacks: Destroy robots via sound blasts from boots

Hanta Sero – Tape: Wrap robots and toss them

Fumikage Tokoyami – Dark Shadow: Shadow entity is strong enough to destroy robots

Shouto Todoroki – Ice and Fire creation: Recommendation student, did not participate in exam. Although if he were to, both quirks could easily destroy robots

Tooru Hagakure – Invisibility: ???

Katsuki Bakugou – Nitro Blasts: Explodes robots

Izuku Midoriya – One for All: Smashes robots

Minoru Mineta – Sticky Grapes: ???

Momo Yaoyorozu – Creation: Recommendation student, did not participate in exams. Although if she were to, she could make bombs or any weapon to destroy robots.

So for Izuku, Ochako, Tenya, and Yuuga we saw their exams and know how they passed. Katsuki is pretty much the robot destroying quirk poster child. Most of the others I think we can easily imagine how they used their quirk to destroy robots or they got in on recommendation.

For Tooru, Minoru, and Kouji I think it’s a little murkier. None of these are really offensive powers.

Minoru’s quirk is good for capture, but I don’t really know how he could have used it to actually bring down a robot, even the less powerful ones. He doesn’t seem that particularly strong, so I can’t see him immobilizing a robot then hitting it to the point it’s destroyed. During the USJ arc, he’s shown to be somewhat of a coward, so I would have also thought he would have been too scared to fight robots.

Tooru is invisible, which is good for stealth but I have no idea what other skills she may have in order to bring a robot down. She does have the ability to refract light, but has only used it to blind opponents, I haven’t seen an indicate that she can use it to really hurt anything.

Kouji, he could have possibly used animals to destroy the robots but he seems so shy. But I wonder what the local fauna were that they could take on enough robots to get him into Class 1A.

Anyone have any thoughts?
