There's a perfectly cut hole in the roof Ganke, this was a pro” a voice cuts him off.

“Thank you for the compliment spidy” Miles turns and is met with Cat, or Y/N L/N.

“Ganke, Imma call you back” Miles turned off his intercom as he walked towards.”Wai-” but Ganke could only stare at the red mike.

Miles directed his attention to y/n who had secured her jewellery pouch to her waist.

“Y/N?” he came closer till there was only a foot between them. “What are you doing here mami”

“They had a specific thing i was looking for, i decided to drop in and grab it before someone else did” y/n was a variant of catwoman. She pouted her lips as she glanced at another gem on display.

“Come one papi, can i go” Miles’ heart fluttered in his chest as y/n said papi.

“I gotta turn you in Miami” y/n’s shoulders slumped before popping back up.

“That’s sad, Spidy, but you’re gonna have to catch me first” and with that y/n had somehow reached the ceiling through the perfect hole.

“Game on Kitty” Miles whispered under his breath before going after her.

On fifth avenue, y/n had perched on the lancer building which was the tallest on the block. Y/n turned to check if Miles was behind her.

“Where is he?” She looked over the building. “Did he stop?” she felt a warm breath on her cheek.

“Of course not, if you ask me to follow you I’d do it in a heartbeat” y/n blushed but she didn’t turn to face him, she didn’t respond. Miles chuckled and flipped her, earning a shriek. “And for a second i thought cat got your tongue, careful now don’t want to wake the neighbours”

“Let's go” y/n said, a small frown on her face. She was gonna have to break out of prison, fortunately her afro (which was surprisingly well hidden in her mask) held lock picking tools and with a little luck she could bullshit the cops that they’d be racist if they told her to cut it down. She’d be out in no time.

“Go where?” Miles asked bewildered.

“The Police Station?”Y/n didn’t know if he was joking or if he swung his brain cells as he chased after her. “Obviously”

“Mami i’m not taking you” Y/n finally looked the boy in his eyes, those sweet eyes that held her attention longer than they should have. “I don’t plan on taking you in unless you want to turn yourself in,”

“But the jew-” Y/N patted her side and couldn’t feel the pouch. “Huh?”

Miles just chuckled at her. “I was a little late for a reason” She was supposed to be mad at him but he laughed.

“Miles,”

“Yeah Mami”

“Can you take me home”

“I was just about to,” He wraps his arm around her waist and she feels her heart race. Even with the suit on she could still feel the tingles on her skin. She puts her head on his chest and feels his heart, it’s almost as wild as hers.

Could he feel the same way

They landed on the fire escape of her apartment building. She removes herself from him and goes over to her window.

“Try not to steal anything on your way to bed” Miles jokes and she can’t help but smile at him. She never can. He always makes her smile. No matter the situation.

“Miles…”

“Yeah Mami”

“Can you stay?” she mentally curses herself. “I’d appreciate the company”

“Awww, you’d miss me huh” Miles smirks, “I’ll be right back mami,” Miles falls off the building and swings off.

He’s not coming back

Y/n changes into her pjs which are just a pair of shorts which barely covers her ass and a cute tank top. She turns off the lights in the other room but when she enters her bedroom she sees Miles in different clothes, a shirt and shorts.

“Damn” he whistles. “You are beautiful” Y/n blushes. She never really got compliments a lot because of her size. Miles came closer, “What? No one’s ever told you, that’s you are beautiful,” Miles glances out the window rubbing the back of neck. “You probably weren't listening"

“I-i can change” I point at my closet.

Miles looks back at y/n. “No no don’t I like it, you’re comfortable in it and honestly I like the view” y/n’s heart was racing. Breathe.

Y/n sat on the bed as Miles sat on the sil of the window.

“Don’t tell me you’re sleeping there” Miles furrowed his brow.

“Of course not,” he gestures to a sleeping bag on the floor.

“Come one Miles”

Miles shakes his head. “I’m a guest in your house, the bed goes to you and the sil is a little to thin for sleeping and you wanted company not a roommate so obviously not the couch-”

“Miles”

“Yeah Mami”

“Shut up and bring your black ass up on this bed”

“Mam-”

“Now”

Miles popped onto the bed right beside you, you turned away from him and snuggled into him, spooning him. He held you and then you fell asleep. Although you faintly heard him say something with a beautiful attached to it.

~Miles often did this that you soon stopped asking, he’d spend most of his nights with you and your feelings for him only grew. It was three months after the jewellery heist went wrong. Miles found out about the fake sack of jewels she had on her that day, all she could do was laugh. It was on the morning after~

“I nearly gave a sack of rocks to the commissioner, aka my father…” y/n was bawling her eyes out. “If i hadn’t dropped it accidentally on my way there… you y/n are extraordinary. Where are the actual jewels?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know” y/n wiped a tear from her eye. “Don’t worry I gave some of them back, but that was because of my affection for you.” Y/n uncrossed her legs as she stretched them out on the bed, she fell back on the bed before propping herself on her elbows.

“Affection?”

“Mhmm,”

Y/n noticed that Miles wasn’t himself today though, he seemed distant. Right now he was sitting on her spinny chair. Doing something she never thought she’d ever do. She goes over to him and straddles him. Immediately he snaps out of his funk, “Y/n what are you doing?” Miles tried to sound calm but his heart was racing.

“Miles, something’s up with you, your being weirder than usual”

“What do you mean, nothi-”

“Don’t lie to me boy, I can read you like a book and something’s up” Miles sighs and stays silent for a second.

“Y/n” he whispers. He looks you up and down as though framing this image of you in his head for all eternity.

“Miles”

“I like you”

“What of course you do, how else would you be able to stand m-?”

“No Y/n, I like you as in I want to hold you, but not like i always do, i want to hold you like a lover, I want to kiss your soft lips every single minute of the goddamned day. I want to wake up everyday knowing that one day, I can go down on my knees and ask you to marry me. I like you in a way that if I’m not careful around you I might tell you I love you instead, I like you way more than a friend. But,”

But what?

“But I have no clue if you feel the same way or if you just want us to be more than friends, just friends,” he shakes his head. “You do shit like this that makes we want to say fuck it and kiss you and hold you till sunrise, then take you out”

“You-” you don’t let him finish, you kiss him hard. You run your hands through his hair as you kiss him with all of you. You kiss him like he’s the oxygen you need to survive. You look him in his eyes, “Oh Miles, i love you too, I love you so much it scares me” He’s shocked at first but then he palms your cheek and deepens the kiss, he moves from your lips down to your neck probably leaving multiple hickeys.

After that day, Miles and you started dating. Ganke still holds you for the robbery heist. Miles takes you dates everywhere. You also took him on a date, mostly when he wasn't expecting it. It was adorable, one time you bought him ice cream for your ice- cream date and you flirted with him the entire time. It was only when you were three blocks away did he notice. By then your ice creams were nearly out.

“Shit we forgot to pay” Miles starts to turn when you stop him in his tracks.

“Calm down Miles I paid” Miles turns to look at you surprised, “It’s my treat today” I continue.

“Mami” he rolls his head back and whines.

“Yeah Papi” Miles’ head snaps right back and he looks away blushing. He always blushes when you call him papi.

“I’m supposed to be paying, not you.'' I chuckle.

“We both pay, I’m not gonna have you buying everything nu uh, I make my own money although at a restaurant we will either split the bill or play rock paper scissors” Papi- Miles sighs and gives up.

He pecks my forehead and leans in. “I guess I don’t have much of a choice huh” He jokes. “I got an independent woman on my hands”

I chuckle, “Yeah you do”

You chuckle at the memory, he still blushes when you call him papi. Two strong arms wrap around your waist. A peck is placed at the back of your neck.

“Miles”

“Y/N”

“You almost scared you know” I turned to face him and put my hands on his chest. “A little more practice should do you good”

“Quiet as a cat” he whispers a smile on his face

I gave up on being pro life publicly and online. The genocide in the Congo and in Gaza have proved it to me that many western women who run those pro life accounts don’t care for children. Many babies have been lost due to hospital bombings. More children are displaced with no families.

I’ve tried reaching out when they talk about saving children in generic posts because very real babies are losing their lives by IDF terrorism. And I get blocked or I get told “that’s different/ they’re Muslim/they should have left already/I don’t care” over and over and over again. The countless videos are already out that have children begging and crying for their families they lost or the homes that can’t be saved. Some of the worst messages I read criticized and blame the Palestinian men too that they should be protecting the kids, so when they die, it’s actually Palestinians fault. Not the IDF. Meanwhile those “young men” are just teenagers because their parents are dead. The Congolese topic is worst. Many are begging people to stop buying the iPhone 15 to raise awareness over the issues there but I got told by one girl who likes to call herself an anti woke submissive wife that she couldn’t care less about the Congo, she’s going to do whatever her husband wants, if that means ignoring genocide then that’s what she will do too. It’s her god given to have freedom over dead bodies l…

I’m fed up. I’m sick of the hypocrisy. I’m sick of seeing stupid homestead content of how they’re at peace taking care of a home as they purposefully condone genocide. If some hacker group exposed all these “submissive Godly trad wife” accounts as being agents for Israel to distract the west from IDF war crimes, I wouldn’t be surprised the least. @not-your-average-prolifer is the only pro life blog who passed the vibe check as far as I know. She reblogged posts about the emergency of pregnant women in Palestine and also post about mental health of middle east women. I think she is left leaning (correct me if I'm wrong!) so I'm not surprised to see her with more empathy about whatever's happening to women abroad, unlike Conservatives who are extremely stupid & uneducated when it comes to foreign affairs, if not straight up xenophobic.

I hope for every single Christian I know to never open their mouth about uwu Christianism is from Middle east uwu ever again the next time someone calls Christianism white man's religion or I'll go berserk on them. They better shut up forever. They had no problem to keep their mouth shut witnessing the martyrdom of our brothers - they better keep it that way permanently and stop summoning their struggle once it's convenient to them. YES, they proved they definitely consider Christianism a white man thing, considering our little care they have for our (non white) Christian brothers overseas. "They're Muslim" it's been well documented that there are Christians in Palestine. But even if they weren't, Christ wants everyone to be saved and accept him as their lord and savior - refusing to extend some basic empathy to people being bombed and killed in their sin is not the way to go. Never forget that Jesus didn't heal or saved only Jews, but also pagans, prostitutes, etc. It's insane how so unemphatic "Christians" have become.

Christian Palestinians are actually some of the oldest Christians - like, where do they those idiots think Jerusalem was?? where did the Pentecost happen? IN MIAMI?? KANSAS?? "They should have left" WHERE?? aren't the ppl pulling out this argument the same crybabies whining about woke culture destroying western civilization? Why didn't they leave the western zone already??? Also aren't they the same against immigration and how men fleeing their country are lazy cowards? so why are they mad at Palestinians sticking to their land?? Ultimately they just want to deflect from their own lack on empathy and find a rational explanation to that.

Conservative scrotes are the LAST people who should lecture anyone about defending the children when there are acting bullying kids young enough to be their grandchildren calling them wokes, leftists, or whatever. I won't even start about gun violence and how deflective they are about protecting the children only to protect their precious right to carry. Ghouls. They only care abt unborn babies because they are unable to call them out on their bs yet. Once they do, they'll cuss them, call them woke, and all sort of -ists.

On TikTok there was a Christian girl saying how Christians are "too emotional" and how we should keep supporting "God chosen people" (Israel). I already made a post calling out how this "god chosen people " narrative didn't stand now that we were in the NEW COVENANT. But let's follow her train of thought: isn't humankind made from God image? Where do emotions come from? Didn't God himself have emotion? Why? What's the right or wrong place to have emotion? She and all the clown who agreed with her would never be able to reply those questions. We've all seen the videos. I did what I could to avoid them but they're quite unavoidable at this point. What's the correct emotion after seeing 2 kids younger than 10 carrying a third one crying while one of his foot was hanging with only one tendon?? This girl, along with every single Christian unmoved by this disaster has to shut up. Their heart is a stone and they should stop trying to lecture people who still have a heart made of flesh. We're not the same. Christ is PEACE. Not war or violence.

And girl, you really shouldn't even engage with women labelling themselves "anti woke submissive wife" 💀 why would you expect them to care about anything but their idol (husband)? Stay focus on what really matters. Peace and God. We're in the end times and God is slowly but surely unfolding the truth. The masks are slipping. Take note of all the so called who remained silent witnessing satan action, take proper action, and go on.

On May 15, 1939, the USS #StLouis left #Hamburg, #Germany with more than 900 #Jewish #refugees trying to escape #Nazi #Germany – all of whom had landing passes for #Cuba & quota numbers permitting entry to the U.S. in three years.

In June of 1939, the St. Louis reached Cuba. But the #Cuban government held the ship at port and made extortionate demands for money (which the Jewish refugees simply did not have).

The St. Louis was forced to leave Cuba, and it began to sail north toward the U.S. #FDR ordered the @uscoastguard

to take all measures to ensure none of the "passengers" reached the U.S. mainland, even if they jumped ship and tried to swim.

The St. Louis docked in #Miami, #Florida, but no one was allowed to disembark.

Desperate passengers sent telegrams directly to FDR pleading for #asylum. FDR did not respond, but the @StateDept did when it wrote back, “passengers must await their turns on the waiting list and qualify for #immigration visas before they may be admissible into the #UnitedStates.”

The #Jews on the St. Louis were forced to return to #Europe.

On June 17, 1939, the St. Louis docked in #Antwerp, #Belgium. Belgium offered to take 214 passengers, the #Netherlands 181, #Britain 287, and #France 224.

By the end of the #Holocaust, the Nazis had murdered nearly all Jews from the St. Louis except those permitted entry to the uninvaded island of Britain.

Ron Dermer: “The lesson of the Holocaust is that the Jewish people need power”

At the 35th anniversary gala of the March of the Living, Israeli Minister Ron Dermer said that the lesson of the Holocaust is that “the Jewish people need power.”

Dermer, who previously served as Israel’s ambassador to the United States and now serves as the Israeli minister of strategic affairs, was the main honoree of the gala alongside his wife, Rhoda. The event, which took place at the Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus, a Conservative synagogue in Miami, also included a tribute to Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau, the former Ashkenazi chief rabbi of Israel.

“The Holocaust took everything away from the Jewish people. For the victims, it took away their property, it took away their dignity. It ultimately took away their lives,” Dermer said. “But it is very important not to take the Holocaust itself away from the Jewish people. Because there has been an attempt in recent years to universalize the Holocaust, to turn it into another genocide, another massacre that happened. And I understand why people want to do that, because they want it to resonate with people outside of the Jewish community. I understand that.”

He added, “What is the lesson of the Holocaust to the Jews? Is the lesson that we have to teach tolerance? Did we need six million to die to teach tolerance?… We didn’t need the Holocaust to teach tolerance. The lesson of the Holocaust is that the Jewish people need power. That’s the lesson of the Holocaust.”

“Jews are uniquely uncomfortable with the idea of power because there’s a price of power,” he said. “You know what that price is? It’s imperfection. When you are sovereign, you are imperfect. When you are a victim, you can be morally perfect. I would rather be sovereign and imperfect.”

Speaking at the gala, Dermer recounted an instance when, while serving as ambassador, he visited Majdanek, the Nazi death camp, which he called “the most surreal moment that I’ve had… in my entire life.” While outside the camp’s crematorium, he received a secure call from Israel’s and the United States’ national security advisers about an impending American airstrike in Syria and how Israel would be involved in the operation.

“While this call is happening, and while we were talking about who’s going to bomb what when, I had an image of a five-story chimney to my left and a three-story mound of human ash to my right—the ultimate symbol of Jewish powerlessness—and here I was, privileged to be the ambassador of the sovereign Jewish state of Israel, speaking to the most important ally that we have.”

Dermer—who has served for decades as a close adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu—said that his top two priorities as minister were ensuring that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon, and to “expand the circle of peace” between Israel and countries in the Arab world that grew through the 2020 Abraham Accords. He also hopes that Israel “will be the most important ally of the United States in the 21st century.”

“Prime Minister Netanyahu is determined to expand it and we hope to work very closely with the Biden administration,” Dermer said. “I think the policy towards Iran is a critical part of expanding that because I think it opens the space for Arab leaders to move into a public alliance with Israel as we face this common enemy together.”

Well, this is depressing.

I haven't been out in public much due to taking a year off from school and not being able to work. I've been watching the news around the i/p conflict from indoors and have admittedly been reluctant to look at my states numbers.

So, i finally decided to take a look at the ADL's H.E.A.T. Map and uh...

Florida's had a huge rise in white supremacist propaganda and antisemetic hate crimes since the start of 2023. I figured there would be, since the backlash against the global jewry has been particularly volatile both on and offline. But i hadn't checked the local numbers until now.

We are one of the few states into the 100+ range and that's particularly horrifying. If we look into the specific numbers, we have:

123 antisemitic incidents, with a majority being vandalism and harassment. A number of these incidents occurred with white supremacist movement (propaganda being spread as well as gatherings).

I know everyone's probably exhausted. But i just want to point out some of the hotspots: Orlando (17 incidents), West Palm Beach (10), Boca Raton (7), Fort Lauderdale (4), and Miami (6).

Thankfully, my city has not had any, and I hope that remains.

I don't know enough about the conflict to say anything more than this: I want jews and palestanians to be safe. I want them to have an ability to govern themselves and not be infringed upon or attacked. I don't want more people to die, on either side.

And, it is not "decolonization" to suggest that an entire civilian population be destroyed for the wrongdoings of their government.

We can call for the dismantling of Israel's government all we want, but THIS here only proves what others have said: the diaspora is too unsafe. This is what is used to reinforce the notion that Israel is necessary at all costs.

We cannot call for deconstruction without being willing to address the rampant white supremacy and antisemitism throughout the US and most of Europe. We can't keep kicking jews out of their homes.

You can't support a free Palestine then use antisemitism as a bludgeon, and expect that to somehow save them.

Focus more on combating antisemitism in your area and generating support for Palestinian relief.

No #but I don't want to just act like this isn't a complicated situation #or that it's not callous and horrible to cheer on ANY of their deaths #I don't support Israel's government but that doesn't mean we should be cheering for Israelis to die for that #and some of you are so fucking gleeful about it #and so many of you are cloaking your hatred for jews in progressive words #maybe care more about sharing resources that can give Palestine and Gaza relief support #i/p #mine.#look around and see #Also if you're American and your cheering for the destruction of Israel and its citizens in the name of “decolonization”#then I sincerely hope you're willing to die if those colonized here call for it #because that's what you're asking them to do – even if that is supremely unfeasible and actually not a good solution #we shouldn't be calling for any group to die #florida issues

And then after the conflict, did they reconstruct that building in 1940? No and no. The bakery was established in 1892, in Prague, by Hannah Rubin. In 1910 Hannah’s daughter Sarah moved it to New York City, and then Sarah’s daughter Rachel moved it to Miami in the 1950s. And, of course, Rachel did not have children."

i keep coming back to this bit. i feel like i'm pounding my fists against a thick glass window, screaming, trying to get the attention of someone who can't hear me. new york, old world, bagels, bialys, hannah, sarah, rachel, they were jewish, i sob. they were jewish! how could you do this to them?

that's the point, obviously. destroying families destroys cultures. despite how people want to pretend that preserving a recipe in amber is the same thing as a parent teaching a child how to make bialys for breakfast, latkes for chanukah, cholent for shabbat. the concept of l'dor vador, from this generation to the next, tells us that it is a duty and a blessing to teach our children about their history and heritage. what happens when that duty and blessing is stolen from us?

in the next episode, elena implies that some people are still religious. it's not like it would be impossible or illegal to be jewish, but without families, it becomes difficult to maintain a jewish community. we are not a people who seek converts, let alone in large numbers. there is even a tradition, though not consistently practiced today, saying that a prospective convert should be turned away three times before being accepted as a student! who would care to join us under these circumstances? how many jews are left in this world? fewer every year, certainly. what a horrifying thought.

Apparently they just announced the Fanny Brice for the Funny Girl US national tour.

They’re promoting her as a “newcomer and Cuban-American”

For those who don’t know, Fanny is based on a real Jewish woman, and the musical has faced a lot of heat in the past for not casting Jewish women. The comment section on a few different Instagram posts are full of what looks like people explaining why Jewish woman should play Fanny, but are being drowned by friends of the actress. I’m currently unsure if the actress in question is Jewish or not, but I’ll be finding out. Her being Cuban doesn’t mean she’s not Jewish, since there’s a huge Jewish-Cuban population, I’m just not sure if she is or not. I’ll know by tomorrow, stay tuned.

What I do know for certain, is that the casting notice did explicitly state that the character is Jewish and stated that “Jewish actors are strongly encouraged to submit.” Which, in the world of casting, means they were preferably looking for a Jewish performer.

I just poked around on Reddit, and it seems that a lot of people are upset by this. Warning though, I looked up the school she went to for college and it seems like everyone is pretty close with each other so there will definitely be people who fight for her, tooth and nail. They’ll defend her with blood, no matter what.

Honestly, I’m hoping she’s Jewish. I can’t go through another Jew-erasure moment. Oppenheimer comes out next week, and Red, White & Royal Blue is a month out. A girl can only handle so much at once!!!

Update: She went to a Catholic elementary school that prides themselves on creating people who value Jesus and the gospel and etc etc.

Update: Christmas photos on her mom’s insta. Family members confirmed in Catholicism. Easter pictures. Lots of Catholic stuff.

She could still be half-Jewish… but… I’m not seeing a whole lot. A lot of Jews fled to Cuba, and the Cuban-Jewish sector from Miami are real and large, so there’s still a chance she’s Jewish. Katerina is insanely talented so I’m praying she’s Jewish. Literally, like please. Please. Please
