Seeing Omar look so good reminded me of what I called him the first time watching through Young Royals "The Most Beautiful Boy in the World" to me there's this trope in YA gay tv where there's just the most unreasonably pretty boy who (usually) shows up in a closeted/confused boy's life to totally blow it apart because he's too unreasonably beautiful to deny being gay AF any more, in my mind they are as follows
Henrik Holm as Even Bech Næsheim in Skam
Lukas von Horbatschewsky as David Schreibner in Druck
Michael Cimino as Victor Salazar in Love, Victor
Omar Rudberg as Simon Eriksson in Young Royals.
Interesting theory anon!!
I mean, you’re right. Omar is hands down one of the prettiest people I have ever seen in my life. If I was Wille, I would have fallen in love with Simon right away, too.

Candidate Cycle Infrastructure Summery Hamilton East By-Election 2024
I asked the candidates in the 2024 Hamilton East by-election if they supported cycling infrastructure. I got answers from seven candidates, Anna Smart, Jose Gonzalez, Marie-Claire Lepina, Jack Geilen, Leo Liu, Michael West, John McDonald. I did not get replies from Richard Brister, Horiana Henderson, Tim Macindoe, Jenny Nand, Jono Ng, Roger Stratford, Tony Tang, Tania Temoni-Syme, Aksel Danger Bech.
I was surprised Tim Macindoe did not reply, but he is an ex National Party MP and their hatred for cyclists and cycle infrastructure spending is very clear considering they stopped funding for hundreds of cycling infrastructure projects they last government already agreed to fund. These ones that did not reply are against cycling and cycling infrastructure as can be seen by the campaign information or the fact they have avoided mentioning it, this is likely why they did not reply to me. It is disappointing that they run as a candidate claiming to be there for the people of Hamilton but do not care in the slightest about the safety of cyclist or even pedestrians.
Anna Smart, Marie-Claire Lepina Jose Gonzalez and Jack Geilen are in favour of Cycling infrastructure in any basically any form. Anna and Jose are both very in favour of fully off-road cycle lanes where ever they fit as a preference which is a good thing and my favourite form of cycle lane when thinking of safety. Reality is we will still need painted on road ones on older roads to remind car drivers they are supposed to be sharing the road with cyclists.
Jose pointed out how little was spent on cycling infrastructure in the past compared to other roading and car focused safety measures just to keep incompetent and dangerous drivers safe because they can not bother following road rules. Jose also pointed out how money is badly spent by our current and past councils by not connecting the good cycle infrastructures together to make them more usable.
Some candidates like Leo Liu, Micheal West even went so far as to make up lies about the costs of putting in this infrastructure. Leo Liu’s lies were the worst. He claimed, using made up figures, that cycling infrastructure cost more than roading just for cars. He claims, even though facts say otherwise, that painted cycle lanes cost $12,000 per meter while car lanes three times as wide cost only $50,000 per meter per lane. This is a complete lie as cycle lanes cost less than $125 per meter if it is a protected lane, less than $25 for painted ones.
The anti-cycling candidates constantly tried to put the safety issue onto cyclist and blame them for cars hitting them or for accidents actually caused by cars. Studies world wide have shown car drivers break road rules 66.9% of the time compared to cyclist tiny 4.2% of the time. John McDonald supported slowing cyclists down and giving no protection (much like the rest of the anti-cycling candidates) while speeding up traffic. These candidates also supported higher road speeds in areas where speeds have been slowed for the purpose of increasing pedestrian safety. These same candidates also supported removing pedestrian crossing points on busy roads to stop pedestrians crossing.
It is clear that candidates Leo Liu, Michael West, John McDonald are against safer cycling and the infrastructure that would assist this while supporting making streets more dangerous by increasing speed limits for cars. These candidates do not believe all people should have the same rights and freedoms if you do not own a car, those are the freedom to leave your, the freedom to free movement around our city and the freedom to access recreational facilities. On top of recreational cyclists and those that choose to commute by cycling, there are many people that do not choose not to drive or have no choice and are not able to drive and these candidates believe they should not be allowed safe freedom of movement.

THE SEEDING – Review
DISTRIBUTOR: Magnet Releasing
Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS: Wyndham Stone is shooting an eclipse out in the wilderness when he comes across what he believes is a lost boy. When Wyndham is led astray and becomes lost himself he takes refuge with a woman living alone. As he attempts to leave he quickly discovers that neither he or she might be there willingly.
REVIEW: With numerous music videos and two documentaries to his credit, Barnaby Clay takes on a supernatural thriller that you might say takes the themes of Peter Pan’s Lost Boys and Wendy and thinly weaves in some type of wilderness dark spiritualism to create this bizarre tales of survival and parenting in the wilderness.
The narrative feels very thin as right from the beginning the viewer is aware that Wyndham Stone is being led astray. The plot introduces these elements of a strange language, Alina’s strange beliefs and this group of feral children. There are few explanations as to what exactly is going on but right from the start the viewer knows this will not end well for Stone. I would suggest that the narrative has a tone similar to 1971’s “The Beguiled,” but Stone is never as charming as Clint Eastwood and he clearly is not in control of his surroundings. The story is broken up into seasonal lunar names that several didn’t hold any significance to me other than the final, being the harvest moon. There isn’t any character arc as even when Stone says he has changed you can’t help but feel he is still the same. In the last two chapters the story makes big jumps that feel awkward.
THE SEEDING is technically impressive. The opening features some breathtaking nature and landscape cinematography, as well as an interesting sequence of a solar eclipse. They have an impressive location and I enjoyed the production and costume designs, which are accentuated with a nice color palate in the lighting. The house/shack apparently has been there for some time and it seemed to me that it consisted of more modern building materials than it should have. The visual and special effects are solid and convincing. I enjoyed Tristan Bechet’s score. There is a sequence where Stone is following the kid, wondering in the desert, where Bechet’s score gives this sequence a feeling similar to where the astronauts are wondering in the wasteland at the beginning of the original “The Planet of the Apes.” I will say that the score was often mixed a bit too hot/loud and overshadows the dialogue in a few scenes.
Actors Scott Haze and Kate Lyn Sheil are good, just not great. There’s not much range to Scott Haze’s Stone. He often comes across as whiney, fails to gain the viewer's empathy and I find it hard to believe his inability to grasp his situation. Kate Lyn Sheil’s performance is subdued for the majority of the film. There are a few moments of emotional extremes where she shines, but mostly it is vanilla. I wouldn’t say her character is diabolical, but there are times where she delivers lines that her performance needed to be slightly more authoritative. As for the rest of the cast, the boys/young men feel as if they are taking their cue from “The Lord of the Flies” without any material to allow for any depth to the characters.
Given his multiple music video credits, Barnaby Clay’s THE SEEDING has a cinematic style reflective of that medium. There are some visual elements that are not built upon or explained, left of to the viewer to interpret. The viewer is presented with limited to no background on this primordial society, but it seems like a hive with Alina loosely representing the queen and the boys the workers. THE SEEDING is an interesting film, visually enchanting, but not surprising if you see the end coming.

Michael Nevada (please ignore the Bosch-Bech I know that was a shitty surname TwT) or just Mike. He's very skilled at the things he does which is fighting, tracking and weapons with specialization on sniper rifles. He's very different from my other OC's as he'll be a four wall breaker. There are FIVE other characters that break the fourth wall. Yes you can count there's six characters that can do that. And that includes
The creator which is basically me, but my characters don't know that. It's like irl god that created everything so I just call it the creator.
me A.K.A Taigai Hardluck
my imagination childhood best friend I didn't let go of for some weird reason even tho I'm 18 years old- Angelica. She's basically a white cat avatar.
You. As I even tho I don't like including Y/N as a thing in stories I did it anyway because of future interaction. Except I don't call Y/N that I call them U. Because Y/N standing for Your name is your actual story name so U is a nickname if that makes sense.
And ofc Mike.

Omer Bhatti, 20, who became famous because of his friendship with Michael Jackson as a child, was arrested for drug possession only 10 days before he was to perform at the anti-drug event for Norway Cup, the world's largest soccer tournament for youth.
"It was only a small piece of hashish I had on me, but it did not belong to me," said Bhatti.
Police prosecutor Richard Bech Pedersen, the lawyer dealing with Bhatti's case, did not wish to comment on what type of drug it was or how much.
