sure candy has chemistry but to say their chemistry is insane clearly haven’t payed attention to when isabel shows her face.

when it comes down to it, isabel is the third person in michael and maria’s relationship.

examples:

- michael breaking up with maria because he thought isabel was pregnant and all that mattered was isabel and the baby

- maria: “why cause you’re destined to be with isabel?”

- isabel getting maria’s gift for michael, saving their relationship + christmas

- courtney: “well he wouldn’t make a cake for just anyone” — maria: “it’s not my birthday”

he wasn’t loyal to maria — courtney, his friends, alien shenanigans, etc..

people would say that his behavior was because he was too scared and loved her too much, but he would drop everything when it came to isabel.

of course michael and maria had cute moments, but they aren’t this “number one couple” people see them as.

i’m not saying brendan and majandra’s chemistry was bad, it wasn’t. but the show seemed to stem that chemistry into a relationship that sort of seemed forced at times.

and by all means, i love michael and maria. their scenes together are great and hilarious and they would be good couple regardless, if not for isabel.

if maria wasn’t in the picture, michael and isabel would be together and vice versa. however, michael and maria are together, and it just doesn’t make sense with how complicated it gets when isabel comes in.

my biggest peeve is the random “i want you to see me” speech michael gave in the season 2 finale. like where did that even come from?

of course, this all comes down to the fact that the fans complained so they had to dwindle michael and isabel (by also never giving closure to their storyline). yet, still sprinkling in some on and off that would make you wonder when it came to michael and maria and their relationship.

and just to point out, in a season 2 commentary, during the scene when the girls were dancing and the boys were watching, even a producer said, not only was michael looking at maria but also isabel.

As a fan of the original “Roswell” I’m happy so far with what we’re getting from the ships and I’m guessing how this show will end. Obviously Max & Liz should end up together like the original. Though I was a Michael & Maria shipper with the original here I love Michael & Alex and they’ll be fine (and Alex alive). I’m really liking Maria & Dallas, which we did have Dallas and Michael talking about how alike they are so possibly Maria is going to end up with someone like Michael after all (figured Gregory would barely be in it since Tanner’s had a huge storyline on his soap “B&B” and likely had hardly any time to film). But my favorite thing is Isobel & Kyle looking to finally happen!!! :D They almost did on the original and if it wasn’t cancelled they were supposed to get back around to it, so looks like we might finally get these characters together after all.

people asking why I know miluca is endgame maybe because Micheal only ever made food for Maria while he picked up food for Alex from Liz dads dinner see the difference y’all it’s always gonna be Maria he said I love you to her first even tho him and Alex was supposedly cosmic, he was watching her like a hawk in s1 when the whole alien body snatcher thing was happening didn’t even bath an eye for Alex and so so many more hints!

I’ll watch all their seasons again and make full thread but the fact that he didn’t even go after Alex after 2x06 but looked after Maria also proved she’s always first to him , will always be 1st and that’s why they’re endgame

my friend dm on twitter talking about miluca endgame and that I should be here for it so here I am for miluca!

not gonna lie I really thought the show was canceled as it should’ve been too but if they go the malex route I’m sorry but it’s definitely gonna get cancelled because no one was watching that show for echo or malex but for miluca like we only watched shadowhunters for malec and if they aren’t there anymore it’ll be cancelled for sure that’s just how it is! will I be happy I get miluca at then end even tho show will get cancelled when it’s time for their endgame sure but oh well let’s go Miluca!
