🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…)

🍏 Is there something you overuse, whether it’s a certain phrase, trope, or piece of punctuation?

🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.)

🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…) I long to write more Nancy, honestly. Partly because I adore her in general, partly because I see what @ambiguouspenny is doing with her and Carlos together and it sends all the neurons in my head firing. But mostly because she’s such a presence on the show now, after being so firmly relegated to the background season one, in the shadow of Michelle’s story, and we still know so little about her. At this point, she’s the only character who’s never had at least one feature or flashback episode. We know she has a sister. We know she’s a fabulously casual bisexual. But the seeds that have been planted, between her insecurity when TK first switched over to medical and her almost uncharacteristic softball self-consciousness, makes me want to know all the things. (Someone write all the things, please.)

🍏 Is there something you overuse, whether it’s a certain phrase, trope, or piece of punctuation? Answered here! But for the record, I also tend to overuse running metaphors masquerading as plot and my beloved paragraph-length sentences.

🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.) Setting aside the Iris Blake of it all… Dammit, the Tommy and Owen dynamic. I love their true friendship, and the way they work together and have so much mutual respect between them. I love that they feel like peers, without friction, and are shown alternately seeking advice from each other and being a source of support. I love that they joke, and have each other’s backs, and foster such a feeling of family in their firehouse. Definitely something I could stand to see more of in fic.

BUT ALSO CRACE. My hunger for Carlos & Grace BFF Supremacy will never fully be satisfied.

That day I suddenly realized I'd been in love with a girl for the past four months lmao- I realized I wasn't cis when I looked in the mirror and said I looked really he/him that day and that made me really happy.

I also can’t swim, so I use an inner tube and I’m a scardy cat, so I don’t venture far from the edges unless someone is pulling me around. So, it’s not much of a fun experience for me. I wouldn’t mind lying out near the pool on a chair or chillin in an inner tube by the edge if the mood hit if I had my own pool.
