They come from the All For The Game series by Nora Sakavic but include some very heavy content!! So definitely read the trigger warnings online before you read. The content in question is handled almost flippantly? To some people at least. Its definitely not dealt with delicately. And thats because its in Neil’s POV and he’s so desensitized to everything that those things that might trigger us dont hold much effect on him. So take that into account

THE AVENGERS AGAINST DATING

MIAMI 2024

the ferrari team stood in a circle outside of their motorhome. peter waved at someone who passed by, giving them a puzzled look. peter shrugged, even he wasn't sure what was happening. carlos and sebastian exchanged looks, before sebastian led them inside, a sense of dread filliing them. isaiah sighed, "please tell me one of you isn't planning on making a surprise announcement this weekend. do not go around pulling a nico rosberg."

carlos cleared his throat, "qué? no, um- charles has obviously been very dominant this season and i know we agreed to wait until after this race but- i'll be the second driver, starting today."

"what?" charles questioned, the confusion was evident on his face, "why?"

"you're going to win this year charles, that much is obvious. i'll get the one next year."

"this must be difficult for you to say," harley added, breaking the tense silence. none of them had been quite sure what to expect when sebastian had called an impromptu meeting, they were supposed to wait for tony but the older man was busy giving the avengers and co a tour of the paddock.

"of course, no driver wants to admit they are going to be second driver but we agreed that who ever won the season this year, would defend the next. it's not my time yet, but it is charles's year, one way or another we are getting that championship."

charles frowned, "we still get to fight on track don't we?" he asked sebastian. the german nodded, "of course, it would be quite boring if it was you winning all season wouldn't it?"

"then let's bring that championship home," bianca said. the team smiled at each other before they stepped away from each other to do their respective tasks. peter's shouts could be heard as he left arguing with isaiah, the older brunette simply sighing exasperatedly. harley left with carlos, the two talking about the changes they would need to make to their strategy now. sebastian ran off, late for a team principal press interview.

charles looked at bianca, "dinner?"

bianca looked taken aback, "tonight?"

"i was thinking next week actually," charles joked. bianca laughed, "don't make me regret this leclerc."

"you won't," charles confidently said as bianca walked away. she turned around and was met with sight of charles smiling brightly at her. she shook her head before leaving to find her dad and sister.
