Saturday night the couple sit on the couch enjoying some relaxing tv time. Mickey smoked a joint before hand finding his body quickly melting against the worn fabric of their cloth couch. Ian chose an old style not wanting to mess with his meds. Leaving the kitchen with a tray of pizza rolls in hand he set them on the coffee table under a tea towel before plopping down next to his husband. Hazy blue eyes perked up at the sight “ Fuckin’ read my mind…. “ Mickey grinned leaning forward to pop one of the way too hot bites into his mouth.

Ian settled back happy to wait taking his can in hand as he moved his hand on the older man’s lower back. “ Kinda reminds me of our unofficial first date. “ The redhead had bitter sweet memories of that time. Of course he remembered what had ended up happening the next day, something they both refused to talk about. Though he knew his younger self had been so happy Mickey had invited him over and wanted to spend time with him. The older man hummed lightly too faded to be paying much attention or thinking too deeply about anything. Carefully munching on the snacks not wanting to touch the hot pan. Saturday nights were the only time Mickey really got the chance to ‘ let go ‘ having all their responsibilities done earlier in the day and not needing to be up too early sunday that he’d still be high. Ian didn’t mind, he liked seeing his husband being able to relax for once. Having enough he settled back into the couch feeling the ginger’s arm snake around his waist as he melted back into the couch and Ian’s side.
