do you have any cordi headcanons? either sexy or just everyday stuff
Hmmm I guess I don't have a ton of Cordi headcanons right now, but what I do have are mostly sexy ones 👀
Like I think Cordi likes to bottom, and Emily used a strap on him sometimes and took care of him. 🥰
Idk if Cordi would label himself bisexual, but he might say he's bicurious. He'll sleep with someone he has romantic feelings for, but also he falls in love easily if he feels cared for.
I like to headcanon trickidell (trey x micki x cordell) with cordi as their versatile bottom. Micki as toppy with Cordi as Trey is caretaking and competent (in a kinky way). The loss of Micki split them up, unfortunately, which has led to Cordell jumping (heart-first) into relationships haphazardly (he's almost always more into "making it official" than his partner).
Idk if I'd call my Stella x Cordi thoughts headcanons, exactly. But I do have like a regular theme to them, of Cordell seeing glimpses of Emily in Stella that make his heart ache, while at the same time often having a difficult time reconciling her with the little girl he remembers from before he ran away, and regretting all he's missed. All he'll never get back.
Uh... idk what else right now lol. Wanna send me yours?

Hard to Kill preview
Tumblr media
Jordynne Grace vs. Mickie James - On September 1, James announced her "last rodeo," where she vowed to retire if she lost even one match before winning the Impact Wrestling women's world title. In effect, Mickie has been putting her career on the line for over four months, and she's gone undefeated that entire time. Now she finally gets her championship match, so this is title versus career. If she wins, it'll be James's fifth Impact title reign, and her eleventh world title overall.
The stakes in this one make it worth the price of the whole show, so I'm glad they positioned it in the main event spot. Grace is 26 and ought to be at the top of the division, but it might benefit her to lose to a top veteran and chase her for a while. James is 43 and has a lot left in the tank, but nothing left to prove. Something has to give, but I don't know what it will be.
Josh Alexander vs. Bully Ray - Ray returned to Impact Wrestling on October 2 to win the annual Call Your Shot match, earning him the right to challenge any champion at any time. On November 18, Bully issued the challenge to Alexander for the Impact men's world title at this show. Ray then immediately turned heel, viciously attacking the champion and his wife.
This is billed as a "full metal mayhem" match, per the demands of Alexander after Ray attacked him again on December 22. Sometimes "full metal mayhem" is a souped-up ladder match (anything goes until a participant retrieves a prize suspended above the ring), and sometimes not (anything goes until a participant scores a pinfall). But the main idea is that tables, ladders, chairs, chains, and possibly other stuff will be placed at ringside to use as weapons. The stipulation plays to Ray's strengths as a pioneer of hardcore wrestling, and works against Alexander's emphasis on mat-based offense.
To put it mildly, I'm disappointed that Impact brought in Bully, let alone for a world title program. I got bored with his how-low-can-he-stoop heel work back in Ring of Honor. Pro wrestling has younger, better stars innovating on that formula while Ray, 51, is just recycling the same old shit. I'd be more interested in seeing Alexander wrestle Jeff Jarrett, and brother that's saying a lot. I sure hope Josh retains and Bully quickly disappears, but I don't have a lot of faith in Impact right now.
Jonathan Gresham vs. Eddie Edwards - This match was originally scheduled for April 23 last year, back when Gresham was the ROH men's world champion and Edwards was the leader of the anti-ROH faction Honor No More. The match was scrapped when Gresham was sidelined (possibly due to a concussion). Since then Gresham has fallen out with Tony Khan's version of ROH and finally ended up signing with Impact. In the meantime, Honor No More has disbanded, but Edwards is still a dick, so these two are back on a collision course. I think Gresham needs to win, but I can't rule out Edwards pulling shenanigans.
Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley vs. Matt Cardona & Brian Myers vs. Heath Miller & Rhino vs. Ace Austin & Chris Bey - The Motor City Machine Guns (Sabin and Shelley) are defending the Impact men's tag team title in a four-way, so the first man to score a fall on any opponent will win the match and the title for his team. Sabin and Shelley are also the STRONG tag team champions in New Japan, but that title isn't at stake.
As usual with four-way matches, I don't expect this to settle any feuds, and whoever wins will probably still be feuding with at least two of these teams right up until the next PPV in April. I guess Sabin and Shelley retain, since double champions seem to be a hot trend these days.
Trey Miguel vs. Black Taurus - This is for Miguel's Impact X division title. I am so relieved this is not a three-way or a four-way match. Keep up the good work, Impact.
I'm out of the loop but I heard Miguel turned heel and tagged the title belt with his graffiti. I'm not sure how Miguel really works as a hell, but I'll give it a try. Taurus has been with Impact for years and he's always just sort of...there. I expect some good big man/little man spots, but nothing to write home about. Miguel should retain.
Deonna Purrazzo vs. Killer Kelly vs. Masha Slamovich vs. Taylor Wilde - This a four-way to determine the next #1 contender for the women's title, so whoever scores the first fall will win the match and be slated to challenge the winner of Grace vs. James.
Assuming James wins the title, any of these four make sense as her first challenger. If Grace retains though, I think it's too soon to run back Grace-Purrazzo or Grace-Slamovich. Kelly would be my pick as a fresh face in the title picture.
The x-factor in this match is Wilde, a veteran from the 2000s who was retired for ten years, returned in 2021, and then took a year of personal leave. Now she's back with some kind of witchy/tarot reader gimmick, which I haven't seen much of yet. If they're serious about this new direction, she should get to shine a lot in this match; otherwise I don't have a lot of faith it'll work out.
Joe Hendry vs. Moose - Hendry is putting the Impact digital media title up for grabs. Last time I looked this title barely existed outside of PPV pre-shows and such, so I'm surprised Hendry made it on the main card and Moose has sunk this low. I guess if Moose won this belt he could elevate it. On the other hand, if Hendry retains I have to wonder if Moose is on his way to greener pastures...
Rich Swann vs. Steve Maclin - This is a falls count anywhere match, so the participants cannot be disqualified or counted out of the ring, and the deciding fall does not have to be scored inside the ring.
Ever since Maclin debuted with Impact his gimmick has been that he's a big mean guy who beat everybody up because he's pissed. For some reason this never translates into enough wins to put him in the title picture, so he just gets into feuds like this one where a babyface tries to shut him down. Maybe this time Maclin can just win the feud and start chasing Josh Alexander. On the other hand, if Bully Ray actually wins the title, Swann's the guy you'd want to push as the next challenger. So I could see this going either way, depending on the men's world title bout.
KUSHIDA vs. Mike Bailey vs. Yuya Uemura vs. Alan Angels vs. Bhupinder Gujjar vs. Mike Jackson - This is a six-way match scheduled for the pre-show. As usual, the first wrestler to score a fall wins.
Kushida is a top junior heavyweight in New Japan. Bailey is a key guy in Impact's X division. Uemura was a Young Lion in NJPW but he's on excursion here, so hopefully that goes better than it did for Okada. Angels was in AEW's goofy fun cult but now he's Cody Deaner's mean serious cult. Gujjar is stuck in the spot where a wrestling promotion puts a token Indian guy on TV and just expects everyone in India to turn into wrestling fans. "Action" Mike Jackson is 73 years old and regularly works in matches like this for GCW.
This isn't officially to determine a #1 contender for the X title, but you'd have to think the winner of this match would move to the front of the line. Since I don't expect Trey Miguel to drop the belt for a while, I'd have Uemura or Gujjar win to give them a little mini-push before putting over the champion.
Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary & Jessicka vs. Tasha Steelz & Savannah Evans & Gisele Shaw - Another pre-show match. The Death Dollz (Valkyrie, Rosemary, and Jessicka) collectively hold the Impact women's tag team title, but since this isn't a two-on-two match the title is not at stake. I assume the heel team is gunning for a title shot, but I'm not sure which of them will end up being the challengers. I guess Steelz's team should win to keep the story going.

Wrestling lookback: Impact Wrestling
So we'll go ahead and end things with the one promotion I am honestly shocked is still around.
Impact World title: Josh Alexander was the champ and was alright, but the injury bug strikes again. Steve Maclin stepped up but his role as champ was short and honestly I barely recall him. Alex Shelly has held the belt since Against All Odds and might be champ well into the rebranded TNA era.
Tumblr media
Now, the X Division has always been Impact's crown jewel. Trey Miguel had a good run but lost it to long time champ Chris Sabin. Lio Rush won it off him at Slammiversary but Sabin won it back a few months later.
I think Sabin will be champ for a chunk of '24. Even if he loses it, he'll win it back.
Tumblr media
The Knockouts title has been doing gangbusters lately. Jordyne Grace walked into '23 with the belt but very quickly dropped it to Mickie James. James might have been the MVP of the year if that danged injury bug hadn't taken her down. Deonna Purrazzo stepped up, but it was surprise Impact roster addition Trinity who took the gold into '24. Legit surprised that Trinity would go to Impact. Seriously, I would have guessed AEW.
Tumblr media
The World Tag Team titles played out pretty well, with no real surprises. Longtime favs the Motor City Machines Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelly) started the year off. ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) took over in Feb and won it again in October, where they still wear the gold as of this day. Subculture (Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster) and the Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachery Wentz) both had runs but nothing really stood out with them.
Tumblr media
The Knockouts Tag Team had fewer champs. The Death Dollz (Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie, and Jessicka) did a nice Freebirds riff but the Coven (Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King) and MK Ultra (Killer Kelly and Masha Slamovich) had respectuable runs.
Tumblr media
And we'll end this with the Digital title. Love the design (seriously, it looks like a microchip!) still hazy on the point. Joe Hendry kicked off the year and he seemed to understand the whole internet influencer bit. Kenny King took it at the Slammiversary pre-show but Tommy Dreamer would take that in Victory Road. Rather surprised to see Dreamer still going.
Tumblr media
So that's it for Impact, as 2024 will see them come back as Total Nonstop Action, because that name is only synonymous for success, right?

Lindsey Morgan fan here again and thank you so much for your reply!!! It really gave me hope for things tbh, bc I have very little knowledge on how studios and hollywood work so not understanding this stuff has been kind of stressful and leaving a lot of unknowns and uncertainties for me. So again THANK YOU!!! A few more questions tho for you 😅. If Lindsey did sign a 6 year contract, if she decided she didn’t want to return for some reason, is she in violation of her contract and if so what are the penatlies of that?? Like would the network just let her out of her contract w/ out consequence if that were the case or no?? I guess what I’m asking is like if Lindsey HAS to come back to Walker at some point whether she wants to or not?? That person on twitter made it seem like she HAD to in some capacity regardless if she decided she wanted to or not. Of course I don’t think things would play out like that or that it’s necessarily the dynamic of things for her, but I’m just trying to understand how these tv contracts work. Like I’ve heard of some cases where people did want out of their contracts but couldn’t get out of them and I’m just trying to undersatnd if anything w/ that could ever be at play here for her. What can be the consequences for that?
Also, thanks again for the positivity and confidence in her coming back! I’ve really been missing Micki and Lindsey so bad 🥺💔.
Tumblr media
It depends on the agreement between her and the producers when they let Lindsey out of her contract.  Producers usually require actors to return at least once as a guest star to wrap up their arc as part of the agreement for breaking the contract.  If the producers and the wayward actor did not get along, then yes the producers can hit them with penalties for contract violations, but that rarely happens.  They don't even punish actors for violating their contracts during the second or third season when they demand contract re-negotiation, other than occasionally publicly calling their bluffs.  Producers would rather forget the legalities and go straight to blacklisting the actor behind the scene.
Jared was one of those people who wanted out of his contract after S3 in SPN, but of course he couldn't leave because he's the lead playing the protagonist.  While Lindsey is the co-lead (like Jensen was in SPN), Micki is not the protagonist so it's easier to let Lindsey out of her contract, especially this early before the general audience become totally invested in her.
I'm in the camp that the acting bug never leaves you so I have a hard time believing Lindsey would never want to return to Walker to at least wrap up her character's arc and prove that she is a reliable actor who is not a risk to future producers for disrupting production.  We saw how people like Richard Speight fought hard to have their character return to $upernatural despite having a steady income in the convention circuit and the director's chair.  Rumor has it that Wil Wheaton wanted a guest role on SPN because the set environment was a good place to work because Jared (X) (X), along with Jensen, set the tone.  By all accounts, Jared carried the positive work environment to Walker.
Yeah it's a little disconcerting to see Cordell and Trey without Micki.  She was firm but very supportive of her men.  Having Stella and August no longer act out their rebellious angst helped soften Micki's absence.  During Cordell's struggle as a newly single father in S1, Micki was there to guide or support him whenever Stella disappeared on him or August appeared at his undercover ops.   I think Cordell's kids nearly got him killed twice in S1.  I don't know why I find that funny.

Walker 2.02
Tumblr media
The ending of this episode left me speechless. I was not expecting what happened to happen….
We pick up right where we left off last week, Micki meeting up with Serano (the guy suspected to be behind Walker and Stan’s shooting) and this guy seemingly from her past being with him. The guy is Garrison, Micki’s ex who she left waiting at the altar oh so many years ago, they’re each other’s ‘the one who got away’ and through the episode you can tell there’s still some feelings there; luckily for Micki he plays along and doesn’t break her cover.
Garrison claims he wants out, that he has evidence against Serano and that the one who tried to kill Walker was Spider but he missed and that’s why Serano killed him. And he’ll cooperate and give the Rangers all the evidence he has if he gets immunity in exchange. Which new DA Denise agrees too cause they wanna stop the dude.
Micki and Walker go get the evidence Garrison claims to have but one of Serano’s men also goes into the building, sets the room on fire and attacks Micki! But she, and Walker kick the guys ass in a very fun action sequence. Sadly, they were not able to save the evidence which got charred up. So they’re back to square one, they have one last hail mary: Garrison meets up with Serano wearing a wire and gets him to talk. Except! Plot twist! It was a trap!
Garrison was lying! He was in the bar the night the other guy was killed and he’s the one who shot at Walker! The other guy, Spider, originally had the job to kill Stan and any other Ranger but he got cold feet so Garrison took the job. The first time he missed on purpose something he can’t do again because Serano has threatened to kill Micki if he misses. Garrison tells Micki she has to stop him. As he goes to shoot Walker, she rushes towards him and ends up pushing him over the side of the building. She holds on to him as long as she can trying to pull him back up but he ultimately falls to his death and she lets out a heartbreaking scream.
The episode ends with her drinking while listening to the last mixed CD he made her, and Walker joining her.
I was so shocked, I was not expecting this whole thing to be a trap and Garrison to fall to his death. My heart breaks for Micki because talk about traumatic.
Lindsey shines bright in this episode, she did such an amazing job especially in the final scenes showing Micki’s anger and pain and grief- the scream that Micki lets out at seeing Garrison dead almost made me burst into automatic tears it was so filled with pain. I’m gonna miss this character so much! Lindsey put forth one of her best performances in this show, if not her best so far, in this episode and the fact that she’s leaving just makes the whole thing sadder.
I’m also really going to miss the Walker x Micki scenes, their friendship is so sweet and beautiful 😭
This isn’t Lindsey’s last episode by the way! I realize I’m making it sound that way but it isn’t, she’s in next week’s it’s just that I’m already missing her and every wonderful thing she contributes to this show.
There was also a b plot while all of that was going on, Trey forced the kids to bond and communicate by setting up an escape room experience where the way to solve it is their connection to each other- not sure where he found the time and he knows a lot about those kids relationships but he needs to keep his mind busy somehow cause he’s worried sick about Micki and he’s getting no info on what’s happening we’ll see this come to a head in the next episode, and his bonding exercise seems to have worked at least for the time being.
Oh, there was a really creepy comment by Serano as he was being arrested, he turned to Walker and said “I’ll be seeing you” which is creepy considering that we know the Walker fam is being watched so I wonder if this guy has something to do with whomever is stalking the family 😳
I really enjoyed this episode; I like how they’re incorporating Denise into the group so far, and I’m liking her character. There were some really tense moments, the ending like I said shocked me, I don’t know how to explain this so I’m not gonna try but I loved a lot of the character interactions in this episode like there was some really good dialogue.
But the shining star of the ep is definitely Lindsey/Micki, she really put forth some of her best work.
