These steampunky looking  miniatures created by Rosa De Jong, are made out of cardboard, small rocks, tree branches, moss, paper, sand, bark, etc. The finished works are preserved in oversized glass test tubes which allows the viewer to explore the fascinating worlds De Jong has created.

I don’t remember this being in the film. Delayed effects of the apple?

A little yak I’m painting tonight. He’s about the height of a quarter.
He’s a continuation of a joke in an art group for micro mini horses and I got him in a seconds sale. Glad to finally have a yak mini after the yak contest earlier. :p

Hello everyone! This is a private commission I made, a miniature robot inventor's workshop. It is made primarily from watch parts and contains a good deal of tiny objects, tools and details. I built it on a pocket watch case and closed it on top with a glass dome. Enjoy! Also check my Etsy shop to see some of my other creations: www.etsy.com/shop/MicroJewellery

You know what? Fuck it, more fake horses.
“Adonis” seal brown splash overo Friesian cross stallion (with a badger face as if he wasn’t already flashy enough), and “Oopsie-Daisy” Buckskin warmblood mare. The coin is a dime for scale. I also drastically resculpted and painted these guys (from little plastic party favor toys) and I do have process pictures for “Daisy” so maybe I’ll post those someday.

This is a small sculpture I made of a moldy orange. I had strips of paper left over from printing pictures for my contextual notebook. I decided to paint these strips and stick them all together to create this piece. I like the patchy look and I want to create more similar pieces.

Finally finished editing my video piece! I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s meant to show (in an abstract way) a narrative involving the effect my alien has on humans. Thanks to Struan for being my lead actress and Arthur for mixing the backing track.

Upon doing research on opiods and pharmaceutical drugs, I came across a sculpture made by "Beejoir" titled "a pill a day". The medium was a hand cast and hand painted bronze sculpture.
In the first picture the sculpture would look just like an ordinary bowl of cereal until closer inspection that the cereal is in fact pills instead. The colours of the pills are bright and vibrant which immediately grabs the observer attention. The piece is also a life size replicate.
This piece is interesting to me as it represents that some people need their medication to get through the day and they would struggle in everyday life in they did not take them as it has a big impact on them.

After I dropped the apples I decided to put them all back together again. I was really inspired by the Japanese art of 'Kintsugi'. I used a very watered down clay to glue the pieces together and then painted the bond yellow. I used an acrylic glaze to give the apples a healthy shine. I love how these turned out its a very unusual visual and I also like the missing pieces in some of the apples.

This is the space which I’m working on now. It’s meant to function as a quarantine zone in order to try and contain the ever-growing alien life form known as Matilda.

After that I plan to stick lots of paper on top to give it a surface so I can project various images on top.
